Zandra 0 Posted December 5, 2016 Author #41 Report Share Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) With a blurry look thru my tearful eyes, I saw the rest of the group come charging in towards the centaur-druid looking boss. At first, the tears in my eyes was because of the panic that had struck me. But now, as the guys that had I had gathered together with charged in, my panic got together with another feeling, to see what was happening. It clearly showed we still was humans. Maybe our bodies was built up with ones and zeroes and our skills decided by stats. But still, our hearts was still human. After the samurais attack, the beast was now stunned and everyone was safe, for now. He then placed himself between me and the boss. After his enourging shout and Calrex howl, the other two persons in their little party charged in, one of them reducing its health even more. It was down to half. They could do this. As my heart got filled with excitement and I felt new strength in my limbs, I pushed myself up and headed past Baldur, towards the creature that had dealth more damage to me then anything before. I raised my axe and as I got in range, the system took control of my motions. The large axe falled down upon the goat, making a long red vertical stripe. As the axe stroke the ground, it let out a powerful shockwave, damaging the boss even more. With a smile on my face and new hope in my heart, I ran back to the others. ‘’There, take it down!’’ I shouted between my heavy breathing. Baldur 0 Posted December 9, 2016 #42 Report Share Posted December 9, 2016 Now that they had rallied, and Zandra was up on her feet again, the gaijin Samurai felt a bit of weight come off of his shoulders. Zandra was on her feel, and Calrex was ready to fight. Pushing off his with back foot, Baldur threw himself at the <<Ancient Guardian>> once again, reengaging with it now that the stun had fallen off. After Zandra landed a punshing blow on the creature, Baldur found his opening, and unleashed his sword art <<San Ge>> as he quickly dashed around the boss, raining blows down on the form and tearing open gashes of red wire mesh that made up its 3d model. When the sword art ended, Baldur was frozen for a moment as he watched its health drop almost to nothing. Only a thin red sliver of it's once impressive health bar remained. "Cal! Finish it off! It's almost dead!" If Calrex couldn't finish it off, then surely Macradon or Hirru would. This would be their victory, and then maybe Baldur's heart could stop racing. Quick rushing forward at his teammate's alert Calrex quickly rushed forward, opening up his form as he moved the Grand Guard II to the side so that his sword could easily maneuver through the space. Shooting forward due to his <<Charge>> skill the bluenette rocketed at the guardian while the Grand Blade II shined with the light blue aura of his <<Nova Acension>> Sword Art. Releasing the barrage as he came into striking range the overkill damage quickly ripped through the sub-dungeon boss, dropping it to zero HP while the extra attacks cut through air before the frozen monster's avatar burst into crystals. With a small sigh of relief the Ultramarine Knight flipped his weapon into a reverse grip before sliding it home into its sheath on the back of his hip, rolling his shoulders as he turned to face the group, "Well that went by pretty quick. Guess that means this dungeon is done right?"
