The doe eyes Kasumi was giving her causes a bit of spite, of course, the girl would be so grief stricken she'd pull her punch to save these imbeciles. They were failures if they succumbed to this torture, but Setsuna needed the openings Kasumi built. A slash of her katana causes a spray of sparks as it hits the manifold, causing the soldier and Kasumi to jerk in response to the blow. She was a bit more interested now, given it was surprisingly sturdier than she'd expect. This eludes that perhaps this was not simply a decoration in the chamber, for if they were this hard to break...

She looks to the others "The chains, they are providing her something. Free the soldiers." Setsuna barks in a cold tone, and with a soft exhale she becomes a fog. There would be another opportunity to strike, but thanks to Kasumi's bleeding heart perhaps a different one was in order.

Leaping up in response to a call to action from Setsuna, unexpected that the girl would offer any sort of advice. Kasumi had the chick distracted which was good enough for him, and he wasn't about to let this bitch use any dirty tricks to sway the fight into the unfair territory. "On it!" Gaius barks and lands heavily on the chain, the wall is adhered to as well as both Kasumi and the soldier jerk inward. It was still attached as the soldier gags and coughs harshly from being yanked by his neck. Kasumi looks at him with a rather aggressive glare, the dragoon responds "What? you wanted him free didn't you? He'll be fine." Wiggling the polearm back and forth, trying to pull the links held beneath it apart. "You're not wrong these things are hella durable, got to be a reason behind it." Plucking the weapon from it and beginning to twirl it.

Removing a gingerly held rapier from her hip she storms in next to Gaius, to another soldier held taught to a black steel chain. "It's all in the wrist my dear, a method better than any strength." She remarks coyly as she shoves the silver hilted weapon through one of the links and twists it, causing it to bend far greater then both of the prior had done in their own rights. The damage wrought she disconnects and shifts clear before Hel would be allowed a counter. The black cat's choice was to rely on the large man in clattered plate steel, leaving him to keep the rampaging witch upon her throne from having a rebuttal. A tinge of newfound respect at the sheer ability they were having at operating without a reason behind it, curious that somehow this band of misfits was getting along so swimmingly. Perhaps it was the thought of a reward pushing them to fit together.

Spinning the hammer in his grasp and heaving down on the chain that Setsuna and Gaius were working on forces it to shatter and turn to data. A quick shout to the group Griswold was holding his own here "One down, take the other two." As he views the field and sees Simmone already working on one. A bit of a smile and a slam of his hammer against his shield as Hel rights herself. "Gimme your best shot." He goads as he takes a single stomping foot forward, a large mountain of a man that causes the ground to shutter a bit under his weight. She lifts her head and eyes the smith and still dazed she releases some violet magic that discharges on a shield quickly risen, that dances in orange flames. "Ha, that's it? Better charge the next one." Griswold continues to taunt and draw her attention.

Keeping her eyes locked to the six bars on her screen, it was enough to make her head spin. She notices Kasumi's the lowest amongst the bunch. Focusing the song and eyeballing the girl with bright orange hair, she anchors her energy to the girl and begins to pour some of her own into her. The song crescendos and keeps her own energy from draining and with the realization she offers a wide grin and a thumbs up. Shiina was puttin' in work of her own and really keeping things going. A simple victory that proved her value. Letting the energy transfer before her vision shifts back to the bars on her HUD she watches Kasumi vanish away out of view. "I gotchu guys get that chick and her stupid face!" Shiina barks out like a cheer squad trying to reaffirm the group's resilience, this was going to become quite one hell of a story to tell once it was through.

Shiina restores a fair amount of her energy, and it gives Kasumi the sense she can let loose just a bit. Although she was reluctant to start swinging wildly, and equally as reluctantly to put Hel down she didn't really have a choice here. If she wished to continue her stint with the guild she'd need to find her center and swallow her inhibitions. Appearing on Hel's flank a single extended foot, using the blade to clip the back of her neck forces the witch to twist and notice her. "Not today." Kasumi yelps as she starts to charge, pivoting and using her still connected foot as ground she swats the side of her head with the flat of the other. Two shocking trails of pink before a blink of the same causes her to seemingly disappear. Tearing the boss apart one hit at a time, she was hopeful that if Raidou could see her he would approve of the actions she'd been taking.

Still fiddling with the chains as it's broken, she looks on to see Shiina yelling something and Kasumi slam two heavy kicks into the creature. She was far from prepared to follow up given her attachment to the now freed soldier. Making a quick choice she leaves that opening is and aims to act on the next. Their leader, the master was always preaching safety above all else. Setsuna had some trouble letting such an opportunity fade but she does as expected of her, the faint recollection of the broken gemini sword in her inventory was a constant reminder. One that she wished to be different than the girl that wielded it prior. But it was not easy, this tact and slow progression. It felt almost like fear to act and she hated it. Propping herself upon one of the run down spires of stone, she looks down with a flare of cyan like a bat.

Watching on as Setsuna takes to obscurity, looks like it was now time to whoop the bitch. A simple notion Gaius was more than willing to oblige. A single leap back creates some distance. Beginning to spin his glaive to charge himself for a big whammy, which was his style. The wind begins to build around him, his own bestowed power of the Gemini, Red wasn't lying when he said that it would change everything. Go figure. A grin takes his mouth, as he could see the vibrant green glow on his glaive begin to take hold. It was gaining strength as expected, as the winds continued to help it spin faster and faster. It would only be a matter of time before he could let her rip, and this chick Hel would taste his might. "Wait for me, I want to savor this fight." he remarks to the party.

A lift of her right hand she snaps her fingers and a gold coil scatters off into the darkness, seeking out Kasumi. Simmone knew that her last swing would have taken a bit of her pool and was willing to make that bet. With her own stamina draining with her exchange made, Simmone peels out a small little gift. "Pardon me, but I wouldn't want this to be a fair fight. You have something I want and I am eager to know what it is. So just die for me would you?" Simmone remarks coyly to the boss as she triggers the small device in her grasp, a performance crystal. Dropping it the thing seems to resonate with the music Shiina was producing. This causes her to shift and look to Shiina with a tinge of confusion, it made some sense given the girl was a performer. But what it was doing was still perplexing.

Slamming his forging mallet hard into his shield, Griswold shouts "Better pay attention, or I'll ring that bell of yours again." Hel turns and sneers at him, lifting her hands in front of her. A faint purple glow begins to form as light shapes within her clutches. "That's more like it, give it more juice this time." Griswold goads as he braces and the kindling playing on his shoulders grows brighter as well.

Released it recoils and slides through the air in quick snaps back and forth, and with a quick step, Griswold backhands the magic causing it to disperse. Rubbing his jaw with the arm clutching the shield, spraying some of his heat to his face. "That's the best you've got? Do you really have nothing better? I ain't even breaking a sweat here." Griswold remarks rolling his shoulders and righting his grip on the wall on his left arm.

Sustaining her link to Kasumi she empties more of her energy into the girl, keeping her moving seemed like as good as a plan as any. "Keep punching her face." Shiina yells out into the room, knowing that both the other girls could hear her. Simmone drops a performance crystal and Shiina begins to sing louder, forcing the crystal that falls to shatter and with a hollow sound it joins her own music. A choir of voices that all seemed to be her own she smiles and looks to the group who begins to question what the hell was happening. Twisting her hands together with a clap she brings them to her chest, as Hel seems to languish and become almost tranquilized. The boss's energy seemed destroyed and her strength fading, and with a smile, she names the skill: "Behold the power of a battle bard! Enjoy the music of Phantasmal Choir!" as the sound seems to rattle the chamber like a small earthquake.

Appearing just like before and slamming her heel in a downward drop, it collides hard with the titan's skull dealing a fair amount of damage. With a blink away she sees a blue trail of cyan eager to make due on Hel's compromised defense. "Get her Setsuna" Kasumi remarks before a flicker takes her out of view, in its wake a few parading petals of a cherry blossom tree. Positioned out of sight she feels the ground shake, and looking out around the corner she hears Shiina. Kasumi cannot help but smile at her decree, rather pleased that Shiina had finally found her niche thing. Things were going rather swimmingly as it seemed that the group was meshing well and coming into their own odd abilities. It connects harshly causing a large plummet in Hel's HP bar as the line drawn quickly becomes a gaping wound. "How does it taste, Mortal Erasure?" Setsuna quips the name of her own skill just as a form of show and tell given they were now sharing techniques. "She's doing some shit with that chain." He exclaims drawing everyone to look to the chick on the throne. She pulls it tight and draws one of the chained soldiers closer to her, as a clutch with her large hands around his arm begins to glow green. "Bitch you better not be trying to heal." Gaius responds and then he makes a decision. "Make her stop that crap, take out the soldiers maybe? I think we were right. I am going to wait till I get a moment to let her rip. I am going for the soldiers." The rest of the group eye Gaius to which he responds with "What?" unsure why they were looking at him.

Beginning to charge the same skill to trigger and tether herself to Setsuna, keeping both of those girls acting seemed like the goal. Then the dragoon speaks and catches her off guard. "What did you just say?" as she looks to Hel and then back to Gaius. Did the man just hatch a plan? Holy hell he must have bonked his head. Unconvinced by the recent development that this kind of premeditation was his own, she looks to Griswold who nods. "Right then I will leave it to you, buy me an opening and I will work those chains. You'll be surprised what a little finesse can do." Simmone quips with a chuckle as Griswold shifts. A snap of her fingers fires that signature bet: a gold helix that seeks out the girl and enters her back. Keeping her attacking was the best they could do at the moment, assuming that the boss would heal indefinitely until the soldiers were freed.

Griswold charges her down and rips the soldier from her grasp, but it seems no good. A single hearty headbutt despite her being at full HP, concusses her for a moment as he latches on dropping his mallet to the floor. "Get those damned chains!" Griswold barks as his rather large hand grasps her by the face and slam her head into the back of the chair. Her magic swells in her hands, as veins in his arms scream against his skin. She was surprisingly strong as hell, stronger than he thought she'd be. A thought to Shiina, maybe just maybe that girl had dulled her enough for him to manhandle her as he was. She shoves forward and attempts to drop a close-range discharge. It fizzles on his shield as he rips it up, and with another stomp a column of heat. He aims for her toes and head butts her again. He had to keep her occupied while the rest finished the job.

With its power and her voice carrying it, it causes the chain to pop like fireworks down the length. A quick glance to Simmone she flashes a wide grin and a thumbs up, that was one down and one to go. She scampers away as quick as her feet would carry her. "OK I got that one, get the other one boys and girls! Only one left!" She shrieks to the rest of the party, happy she was useful and that somehow she music'd the chain away. If that didn't work she had no idea how the hell she would have broken it by pulling.

Seems that voice of hers that was rattling the place made her kind of a walking bomb if you connected with her. Kasumi grabs on heavy and pulls the chain rather tight with a tug. Kasumi was helping that damned fool, but at least he was working toward a goal instead of bumbling around like an idiot. Eyeing the witch, She watches on as the boss starts to peel free a hand with that magic of hers. As quick as she can go, which given sprint and her stature makes her nothing more than a blur. It was clear her aim was to drop that magic into Griswold's exposed back. A single blue line draws against her wrist, before the hand she was using seems to freeze and shatter. "Unlikely, but fair attempt." Setsuna barks positioned on Griswold's massive shoulder in a kneel, looking into the witch's eye with a flare of blue. The flames and cold crackle and pop with the rapid change in temperature.
