Lancaster 1 Posted August 16 #21 Share Posted August 16 The lit end of a cigarette casts a low orange glow across the mans face, in a dimly lit tavern in one of the back alleys of the floor. Mari's warp pads had really allowed the man to stretch his legs, and made all the walking cut extremely short. One of his old dives he'd lean back in the booth near the back, listening on as he'd spin a cup that dangled by his fingertips in his right hand. The gold colored alcohol inside swirls as the ice clatters against the glass. Lancaster exhales sharply, allowing a stream of smoke to spray across the table as he'd lean forward and tap the dangling ash into a tray in the tables center. The man cannot help but find a set of eyes locked on him from the other end of the bar, in a floor table with four chairs. Three people, to which the guy inspects them all. A woman, a quiver on her back, The older one with a lance leaned against the table to his left and the smaller one with a scimitar in his belt. Armors looked rather piecemeal, uninteresting, a nonissue. The mans arm folds at the elbow, pressing the butt of his cigarette back into his lips. Licking his teeth inside his mouth, weighing his options and debating how best to approach the situation. The man could hardly just steal a drink without being pegged, followed. God damned PK hunters, Aincrad's finest annoying self appointed police force. Glorified bounty hunters that gained so damn little from the attempt. Most weren't even smart enough to try to extort a paycheck before ending a PK'er. What was it for? clout? None of them were distinguished or renowned enough for the man to even know them. Lancaster sighs heavily then yawns loudly, raising to his feet and dropping a sack of coin onto the tables surface. The red head shoves his hands into his jacket pockets, raising his shoulders as he'd wander out. On his peripheral he checks them standing up as well. Bingo. What an abysmal job at actually getting the jump on him. Out the bar and rounding the corner, within spitting distance of Urbus. The gate was too far away and its likely they would be able to track him at least loosely. Instead the man would round the back of the building, adjusting his collar up and flicking his thumb up causing it to burn. "He can't have gotten too far." A female voice rings out echoing on the walls. "Cercavi me?" Lancaster remarks nonchalantly with the faintest trace of a smile. A longbow in her hands manifests "I'll paralyze him, you nab him. Don't give him an inch." Drawing back the string with a sharp tug she lets an arrow fly. An explosion of fire rips out across the dark alleyway. Bathed in flames, the projectile gets within 5 ft before its burned into ash. The consuming tyrant removes his hands from his pockets, plucking the cigarette butt out of his mouth. *tsk tsk tsk* The man clicks his tongue in disapproval and a wag of his finger, as the men begin to charge at him. "Wrong answer." <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 4 Final EXP reward: +100% Lancaster | HP: 270/270 | EN: 52/52 | DMG: 15 | MIT:55 | ACC:1 | BH:14 | BLI: 16/-10 | BRN: 28 Spoiler Name: Lancaster, The Consuming Tyrant True Tier: 4 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 Tier: 2 HP: 270/270 EN: 52/52 Stats: Damage: 15 Mitigation: 55 Accuracy: 1 Battle Healing: 14 Stealth Rating: -5 BLI: 16/-10 BRN: 28 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - All Consuming Pyre - Hades [T4/Demonic/Throwing/200384n] | BRN 2, BLI 2 Armor/Trinket: - Leather Jacket *Placeholder* [Tierless/Vanity/Heavy Armor] Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Charge - Energist - Heavy Armor R5 - Thrown Weaponry R5 Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Focus - Iron Skin - Precision - Stamina Mods: - Impetus Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Mirianna 1 Posted August 16 #22 Share Posted August 16 The click of platform boots across a large ballroom. Somewhat unfazed as other players with orange markers continue to dig through drawers, opening cabinets that lined the walls. "Find it." Mirianna responds in a cool tone, a stark order as she starts to head up a pair of red velvet covered stairs. Her hand drags on the banister on her right as she does, turning once it breaks into two sets that oppose each other. Up to the upper level, the central hole that lead down lined with a railing. On the walls all manner of expensive paintings, busts of faces that were clearly manufactured just for effect. The woman jerks her right hand, and a icicle of pure ice oozes out from her palm like a spike. The sharp end is dragged across paintings as she'd pass them, giving her constant cardinal bestowed warnings of property damage to which was nothing more then music to her ears. "You can't be in here!" A maid screams as she exits a bed chamber diagonally across the hall, a flicker of dark blue and a twist of her body down. "Pathetic." Mirianna barks as her ponytail trails behind her in a long sway, springing back up and her weapon grows almost impossibly long impaling the hired hand's stomach. The 2nd finger turns her body, snapping off a section of the weapon leaving a jagged protrusion that remains imbedded in its victim. What follows is her body starting to take on a pale white as the heat is sucked out of her. Her breath becomes visible, as her fingers start to turn black clutching the skewer still impaling her. The maids movements slow, becoming much more rigid and pained until eventually they cease entirely. Now a brittle statue, locked within its space in the doorframe. Mirianna moves to greet it, as the sharp spine from her hand grows back. A shove of an open left hand the woman murmurs "Oops..." causing the statue to careen back and shatter into fragments all over the floor, flickering pieces of data escaping like vapor as they melt. The 2nd finger is met with a study lined with books, a large spinning globe in wood on her left. Tearing through the desk, the papers and digging through the bookshelves. About a quarter of the way down, a click is heard as she pulls at one of the many tomes. The Globe turns on its own, before half of it pops open to reveal an object on a pillow inside it. "There it is..." Mirianna offers leaning down to pull the smallest little gemstone from its safety, leaning up to peer at it in the candle light. Folding it into the palm of her left hand, she'd make her way back into the main hall. Beckoning to the first lacky she can steal the ear of: "Got it, kill all witnesses. And trash the place, don't want them knowing what we were here for." The player killer in her detachment asks. "Can we keep anything?" "I don't care. Just be quick about it. Steal everything worth a damn we can pawn, play with the NPC's or any player who gets in your way. Don't make it my problem." <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +105% Mirianna | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Mirianna, of the Frost True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 Tier: 2 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Hiroshi 1 Posted August 16 #23 Share Posted August 16 The eerie green glow springs to life in the middle of the night. Outside the complex the unending snowstorm rages on working its magic to conceal the place in its entirety from all that would aim to find it. Inside slants of incapacitated players slowly being pumped with carefully curated paralytic venom from IV's continue to drip on constants. Prison cells on the walks from the entry to deeper within are filled with a mixture of screams. Some of anguish, others of fear or outrage. But the underlying fuel to them was confusion, and fear all tinted by the personalities from which they stemmed. The main chamber with its high rise overlooked an operating room, for understudies to view it from an observation deck if they so choose. That operating room was lit up brightly, bright enough to make the white sterile tile blinding to the eyes. On it a single table with leather restraints, and inside it a player comatose. A pair of forceps and a scalpel peels away at the avatar of that player, inspecting the inner workings of the wireframe. The goal was to discover the nuance and intricacies of their digital bodies, understand what made them tick. A fact so easily taken for granted, except by one select surgeon. If he could crack the code Perhaps he would be able to create his on alterations or additions to the complex that was their digital bodies. It was not abnormal for some players to show bouts of inconsistent potential, or uniqueness that Hiroshi found rather astounding. The scientific intrigue would easily overshadow any set of morals or regrets the man was capable of holding. The digital flesh bends and twists, as it continues to struggle to reform against the metal rods keeping it pried apart. Careful and steady hands worm around inside, and the pain inhibitors were actively working against the player on the slab. A small dose of pain would at least alert them, maybe rouse them from their induced slumber. The doctor worms around inside, looking through a pair of welding glasses against the bright glow. "Nothing here looks out of the ordinary..." Hiroshi mutters with another tug of a pair of latex gloves, causing them to snap and remove fresh wrinkles. "Unfortunate..." The man speaks as he pets the guys cheek, as one would a dog. "You aren't special, as much as I wished you were. But that's quite alright. Not everyone can be, or no one would be." The scalpel returns to his right hand, and Hiroshi presses his index finger against the back of the blade. With one fluid motion, he slits the guys neck causing the heart monitor to beep in a constant drone. The player expires and shortly after a spray of blue glass bounces off plexiglass windows. To the wall the man removes the green gloves and tosses them into a nearby bin. Pressing a little black slab on the wall "Bring me another subject, don't forget the dart this time..." releasing his finger from that slab, the man opens a drawer and claims a fresh pair of gloves. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +110% Hiroshi | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Hiroshi, The White True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Rosaria 0 Posted August 16 #24 Share Posted August 16 The town of beginnings was so filled to the brim with all manner of faces. Like low hanging fruit dangling from a tree, ready for picking. A rather chipper smile, adjusting the thigh high tights that held snuggly to her peach colored skin. A façade adorned as she'd begin to trail down the streets, like a high level player showing interest in the lowers, she'd peel quite the attention from her peers. The honey pot that was the quest board was her obvious goal, and after she reaches it she listens in to others as they discuss and size up what they would undergo. "Do you mind if I tag along?" The woman interjects once a decision had been made by that party of three. In shock they would accept her without much a second thought. Her worn gear would easily be convincing to give her the aura of a high level, and the prospect of an easy win was easy to bite upon. That and the boys in the group had already begin turning a little flush. Feminine whiles and a commanding appearance was all it really took. Like others that did the same, albeit with less nefarious goals she would allow them to take the lead. Accepting the party invite with a smile, she'd take a moment to send a single command to her men: ~Floor 1, Nepent Variant. Be ready to snatch them up. Going out through the entire throws of the quest, even going as far to pull her weight a time or two rather simply. The monsters here were extremely low level just like the players were, so it was a pittance for her. Once the quest was done, she'd offer them a smile as they'd move to depart. "One more thing..." Rosaria offers sweetly, lifting her hand as she'd tuck her polearm behind her right shoulder. *Snap* Her fingers offer the command and from the woodwork at least 20 orange players bleed in from the trees. Drastically outnumbered, the horrified looks strewn across their faces told an entire story of bittersweet betrayal. "I suggest you accept your fates and go quietly... Would hate to waste such strapping young men. But first, its probably best you empty your pockets if you want to live." The honeyed words laced with venom had them stripping down to basically nothing, putting all of their gear and the quest rewards they had just got into a collected pile. A heavier looking PK'er leans down and grabs it all up in one fell swoop. "Good dogs." She offers a reward in the shape of praise, turning toward one of the gaggle of her goon squad. "Slap them in chains, complex 3 has plenty of room for them." A sharp yell sees the player at the helm decked square in the jaw hard enough to make his head spin. A metal collar snaps shut, followed by manacles around their wrists and ankles. A flash of blue light sees them all teleported away to an unknown location, leaving most of her men behind save the transporters. "Wonder how many flies I'll catch today." Rosaria goads in a tired retelling before she laughs into her wrist. *OH HO HO* <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +115% Rosaria | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Rosaria, of the Legion True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Genma 1 Posted August 16 #25 Share Posted August 16 The giant of a man walks with heavy footsteps past an array of cages. In each sat two players with some vacancy, the cots and sinks leaving much to the imagination in terms of cleanliness. Cellblock 3, to the end of the hall to Cell F. "Stand." Genma orders through the bars, snapping his knuckles through heavy plate gloves, audibly heard to strike up a chord of intimidation. The pair inside don't stand up immediately, choosing instead to remain in defiance. Genma looks to his right at the warden of this sector, who would move to his side and retrieve a ring of keys. Into the lock it turns with a click. The man ushers inside the prison cell, as a player springs at him with a carved shiv made of stone. The little flicker of a sword art during the process. It cuts the tiniest line on the mans cheek, before Genma grabs the attackers wrist and twists it behind his back sharply to a gut wrenching crunch like breaking a branch. The player screams as he's slammed into the sink with enough force to tear it from the wall. The other drops its knife, finding all of his courage gone in a puff of smoke. It clearly had no effect. "You....I like." He spoke to the one still writhing in agony, his arm in pieces unable to bend. "True courage is hard to find." Genma's eyes rush to the other, still standing. "But when told to stand, you stand. To kneel you kneel! To die...you die." The man reaches out with an open hand that clutches its massive fingers on the other players skull, pulling them closer and beginning to press on it with both hands. Legs flounder feverishly as they cannot find purchase, the players hands locked to the outside of Genma's in a fatal desperation. Harder and Harder as the bones in his face begin to cave and snap under the pressure, getting a hearty grip Genma jerks to one side and rends the players head from his shoulders with his bare hands. Dropping the head like a sack at the wounded players side. "This will be a lesson to you, who you now obey. Who you serve, and what will happen if you refuse." As a pair of guards drag out the headless corpse and retrieve the knives. Genma pulls the metal gate to the side and locks it back shut. "You won't get a second chance." The 7 foot man barks out as he taps twice on the bars with his heavy fists, causing the iron to shake under his might. Down the halls and wings, as the bodies are dispersed and culled with any acts of resistance. All within these walls would serve laughing coffin or pay a price they could only pay but once. Genma was an enforcer and a trainer, and these men would fall in line or be removed. His thoughts move to the only few ever to successfully escape his clutches and avoid the consequences. If the time ever arose to right that insurrection then Genma would gladly leap at the opportunity. His authority will remain absolute. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +120% Genma | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Genma, The Reaver True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Tybalt 1 Posted August 16 #26 Share Posted August 16 The chipper smile was in stark contrast to the backdrop of the city of Lhasari. Players and NPC's alike were in the process of stabbing each other in a horrific display of mass hysteria. Tybalt kept on moving, shuffling cards from hand to hand with a tyrannical giggle. Another guardsman rushes down a side street causing Tybalt to twist and fall low, grabbing a card from the top of his deck. His well tailored maroon stage tux flutters as it shines in the light as he presses his knee into the floor, ripping his right hand out in an eccentric display of finesse. The card screams to life in a roar of lavender light as it whirls in a spin, implanting it square into the guards shoulder. At first it doesn't seem to have much effect, and the guard continues to charge at the PK'er. His eyes dilate wide into saucers as the card flickers leaving the suit of the card on his arm like a brand in a black stamp: a clubs. The guards weapon dropping to the stonework as his grip goes limp. "You're Hired! Welcome to the team, I can always use more help~" Tybalt draws his hands together and presses the side of his mask, leaning to one side like a show of affection. "Go and cause mischief. Tell a joke or two. Stab anyone who doesn't LAUGH." Chuckling himself in a manic return. His presence here would have seemed like random chance, but what it really was was a draw. Pulling players to his location solely to pull attentions away from other locations, and the more the merrier when it came to Tybalt. His strange effects on targets minds, as if inducing his own insanity on others was entirely his shtick. The larger the population the easier it was for him to sow absolute unbridled chaos. Tybalt would wander into the center of town, as players and NPC alike rushed around breaking doors and windows, like a riot that was far from becoming of the standard. "May I have everyone's attention." The man offers, to no response. Another attempt at the same phrase. Slamming his fist on a nearby sign and yelling in an outrage "QUIET" finally causes those around him to stop. The man would start to perform card tricks, keeping a fair portion of his newly claimed lunatics enraptured like a display of fireworks. A captured audience was all the man ever wanted, and given he'd performed the request in excess he was allotted this little release of his creative energies. Turning the deck over and flicking the cards in a long bridge to his other side. Whenever another entity not under his spell would wander into the display, the masses would turn on them running them through like a flash mob. Like zombies with their only goal being to appreciate Tybalt's magnificent magic show. On the floors below, the rest of the guild was likely already robbing houses and businesses blind, with the stink Tybalt was making here being an overwhelming smokescreen. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +125% Tybalt | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Tybalt, The Jester True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Hanma 1 Posted August 16 #27 Share Posted August 16 Today was a new day, a new location, and new people under her wing. She wants to try them out for size. She was told they were dare devils and were not afraid to walk into a burning building on a whim. That sounded like her king of people. She would whistle and her group of five would come like good little doggies. They had just gotten done searching the abandoned building just outside the Taft walls. She wanted the bigger fish. “Are you sure this is a good idea boss?” a sharp twist of her head toward the new girl. They were standing in front of a huge castle-like place. It was said that whoever owned it died just the other day. “No, why? Are you scared?” The girl shakes her head rapidly and starts heading to the front doors to prove her worth. Hanma just smiles, she couldn’t wait to see what would come of them. The door was locked when the new girl tried to open it. One of the scouts would run to her side and work their magic. When it was opened she would walk past them both to get a lay of the land. It was rather large and very blinding white. “You two, up stairs. You two basement if there is one. You little girl, are with me on the ground floor” she would say as she pointed toward everyone for their assigned areas. Heals clicking on the hardwood floors as she looks around carefully. Walking through one of the doorways that led to a room. She would step over the small purple rug, from behind her she would hear a CLICK. Swiftly turning saying “Don’t move or you’ll blow us both up” the girl's eyes were in pure panic mode but she stayed as still as she possibly could. This little lady just took the one way ticket to her own death bed. “How much do you weigh?” Hanma would ask the girl in a very serious matter. “120” the female would say in a now blubbery mess. “Oh no need for that” she says looking around in the room that looked her size or more. There was a chest, she lifted it but it was light. Twisting her lips back and forth like she was thinking as she scanned the room. Digging through the chest really fast, there was nothing there but clothing. The bed had a frame and the mattress looked slim so that was a no go. The only thing she saw that could work was a wardrobe that was bigger than her. Those things were a bitch to move but she had to try. Pulling the large clothing holder to the door way, it was heavy as fuck but she manages. She would just climb out the window if there was one, besides she couldn’t risk her whole team being blown up because of a mistake that the rookie made. “You are going to move and I am going to push this thing onto it in your place, got it?” Her head peaks around the wardrobe at the girl as she nods. “One, two, MOVE” she says as she starts pushing it. *CLICK CLICK CLICK* Nothing, no explosion. She goes around and out the door looking down at the girl “Next time, don’t step on the mat, okay?” Hanma holds out her hand to the girl who nods her head. The rest of the search goes well and they come out with a good chuck of stuff. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +130% Hanma | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Hanma, Horror's Face True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
Bran 1 Posted August 16 #28 Share Posted August 16 Standing in what he considers his private quarters. The three teams of four that he sent out were supposed to be back soon. He had gotten no ill news from any of the groups so that was a good sign. There were a few new members in each group. New recruits were welcome but always a pain at first. They always thought they knew more or even bragged about how they were smarter than some of the veterans in this empire. They couldn’t be more wrong. This was a test for all the rookies, one that would prove if they could handle their own when a fight broke out or if they would be spotted when they shouldn’t have been. The door slams open and the first team returns but there seems to be a problem. Rosko has one of the newbies by the back of his neck and throws him to the floor as they proceed to slide against the floor landing right in front of Bran. “What was his mistake?” A simple question toward Rosko and in return the man speaks “This dumb ass almost got us killed. Damiko was keeping watch and called out that someone was coming. We all got out in time besides this fuck and he led the hunters right too us.” Rosko was breathing heavily so Damiko started talking in his place “We put down two of them but the third got Landon who struck him without hesitation.” Bran walks forward and leans down to grab the boy by the arm. Lifting him, the guy was in tears. He couldn’t be more than 15, maybe 16. “There are the three laws of Laughing Coffin and then there is my number one rule under me. What is it?” Bran lets go the minute the boy is on his feet. “I-if you g-g-get caught lo-oose them, the-en joi-n-n back w-wit-th the g-grou-p-p.” He leans down to meet his eyes now inches away. “And why do I have this rule?” The boy shut his eyes tightly while saying “I-if we we-ere foll-o-owed then it wou-ld lead th-e-em here and th-ey would know w-h-here we were hiding” the boy was struggling to get words out. Right then Bran slits the boy's throat as the body falls limp to the ground. There was nothing more to say, the boy knew what he was doing but did it anyway. Something that Bran could not allow, or pardon. To protect his daughter above all els. He turns as the other two step over the body and sets gems on the desk. They don’t say anything else before walking out. The other two groups come back and declare that they had no problems with the new recruits. Bran simply nods and allows them to place what was gathering from the settlements they were assigned to. After everyone leaves he sits down at his desk and starts crossing off locations and people. Taking a small cup with sake in it, he would drink a little before looking at the items that were gathered. It really wasn’t much, that to him meant that they needed to start looking through the area on the higher floors. The places they had were getting emptied, they needed more. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +135% Bran | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Name: Bran, The Raven True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Starter Healing Potions (Heals 50 HP) x3 Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession: "
Yuyang 1 Posted August 16 #29 Share Posted August 16 The heavy slam of a fist against the side of a face causes the ground to shatter. The player struck spins following the force, his face lit up as some of it is mangled. Almost stars rattling over his head as his vision blanks out for a moment. Yuyang stood strong with his fist held out in front of him, exhaling sharply as he jerks that arm back up toward his face in a snap. "Get up. Don't give in so easily. I want your best." Yuyang speaks in a thick accent toward the player he just cold clocked and left damn near unconscious. The player begins to use his hands to push himself up, Yuyang dancing around to keep light on his feet and wiping his thumb across his nose. With a limp stagger, the Player returns to his feet and wobbles before trying to get his weapon up. "Yes, give me your best. This is fight or flight. Prove my victory." Yuyang barks pressing a fist into an open palm, and presenting them out with a bow as a show of honor. The player lifts his longsword causing it to glow, and Yuyang turns his body allowing his fist to rip to life in a aggressive gold. A one on one battle pushing both combatants to their absolute limits, with their lives their just reward. Sword arts fire and Yuyang darts beneath and around it, offering two jabs and a round house that throws his target skipping across the terrain and into a building. The impact sounds like thunder, and again Yuyang goads the guy into getting back up. The fist wanted his victory to be confirmed with no grounds of a different outcome, his opponent giving every opportunity to fight back. A crushing defeat before his life was claimed by the assassin. More attempts as the player is pummeled and beat down, encouraged to fight back until he could no longer stand. "If this was your best, then is a great shame. You bring shame upon your family. I am doing them a service, perhaps their next son will exceed you." Yuyang offers as a final phrase before grabbing his jaw and the back of his head. A jerking twist sees his neck broken, to which Yuyang drops him back down. Crushed into a fine powder, the man will flick open a screen and type words to the message box to an unknown receiver: "Target 3T has been neutralized, however he did not have the package." "Next target will be 4Ia, they are alone running Hidden Village. Proceed with caution." "Acknowledged." Freya 0 Posted August 16 #30 Share Posted August 16 Rain was pouring down, she didn't bring a coat because it hardly ever rained in the places she frequented for ingredients. This time it was different, go figure. Struggling to open the door to the house, it was locked. Dam, she thought as she placed a few bags on the drenched ground. She was trying to be home more, besides her cooking wasn't going to magically get better itself. Putting it off for way to long, the skill wasn't maxed yet after all this time. No wonder Gaius was a better cook then her. Unlocking the door, the first thing she hears is the kids scratching at the bathroom door. "Yea, yea, give me a second." The noise stopped as they heard her voice, she just smiles and picks up the bags again. Setting them on the counter top, she closes the front door and walks to the bathroom to let the tiny tornado's out of their dungeon. If they were not placed in there while her and her hubby were gone then they came home to a disaster. Better safe than sorry these days. They both run past her feet, tripping over each other rolling into the wooden legs of the table. She just laughs shaking her head and heads to the kitchen to unload the food. There was a large variety of items. All matters of fresh spices and seasoning. Tea leaves, the ones that Gaius liked. Coffee beans, she set those next the the coffee grinder that was snugged in the corner. Taking a few larger fish that were wrapped in wax paper and set them in the large cube freezer for later use. Next she pulls out some ingredients for a recipe that Gaius wanted tonight. She was unsure it she needed to make it or if he was. Maybe she would get it started, how hard could it be. She also wanted to make Apple Crisp too for dessert. She was getting better at the whole meal thing but she specialized in bakery. It was just easier for some reason. Out of seeming nowhere she hears growling, glancing over to the kids. Watching Ko chewing on her brothers back food. Freya glares, pulling out a bag of marshmallows and tearing it open. Chucking a hand few at them both, "Stop it KO" she says as Ko's head snaps up toward Freya before getting pelting in the head. Making a squealing sound she falls backwards. Freya just starts laughing as the bear starts to much on the huge mallow that was half his size. Pulling out a glass pan, she would set that on the counter. Taking the large slab of beef from the bag, unraveling it before setting it on a cutting board. Taking a knife, she starts to cut off the fat, it would taste much better without. Throwing the fatty bits in the garbage, she would then cut even lines down the width of the meat. The season seeped in better this way. Preheating the oven to 400, she would let that go before setting the seasoning on the counter next to the pan. Taking a cup she would get some water and pour it in said pan so that the beef didn't stick to the bottom. Now that that was set up she would wash her hands and start cutting the apples into small chunks for her own creation. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 10 Final EXP reward: +145% Mega Slime Farm 10% (8/16) Guild Rank 5 | +5% Final EXP reward Freya | HP: 240/240 | EN: 52/52 | DMG: 17 | MIT:20 | ACC:4 | AA | PHASE | EVA:1 | BH:13 | VAMP-O: 40 | REC: 2 | LD:6 Spoiler Name: Freya, Twisted Sister True Tier: 10 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 52/52 Stats: Damage: 17 Mitigation: 20 Accuracy: 4 Evasion: 1 Battle Healing: 13 Loot Die: 6 AA PHASE VAMP-O: 40 REC: 2 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Final Calamity - Remorse (T4/Demonic/2HBA): Absolute Accuracy, Vampiric Offensive 1, Bleed 1, Phase Armor/Trinket: - Dark Embrace - Sacrifice (T4/Perfect/Light Armor): Evasion 2, Recovery 1 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Ebon Band - Truth (Tierless/Perfect/Trinket): Accuracy 3 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: - Axe R5 - Battle Healing R5 - Charge - Cloth Armor R5 - Energist - Searching R5 Extra Skills: - Concentration - Survival Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Ferocity - Nimble - Precision - Stamina Mods: - Athletics - Night Vision - Tracking Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: Housing Buffs: - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Sam 0 Posted August 16 #31 Share Posted August 16 An alarm blares in her ears from the HUD, 4 am sharp. She was very busy these days, she just wished that she knew how to get more sleep so that they didn't seem so dragged out all the time. Pulling her thick blankets off her frame, swinging her legs over the side of her bed. Giving a huge yawn that causes her drums to pop, before sitting up on the edge of the comfort and warmth area that she wished so desperately that she could stay in just a little bit longer. That was way to much to do today, it always seemed like there was never enough time to do it all. First things first, coffee. She would not be able to function today without it. Dragging herself out the bedroom door, down the stairs, through the hallway toward the kitchen. Shivering as her bare feet make contact with the white tiled flooring. Sitting at the table with a paper coffee cup with a lid and straw. She didn't want to constantly be doing dishes so she bought some back ups for the stuff she needed. Lium had gotten after her for not eating right so she started cooking her meals again but it was mostly the simple stuff. Most of the time it was toast and eggs or just a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Looking out into her living room, it was still a mess from a month back. Time was limited as of late, she didn't want to waste any more time than she already had. Inventory for the guild hall usually took about an hour, there was a lot of items going in and out of that place. Finishing this cup of coffee, she would make another before heading out and starting her day. Bass guitar sitting on her back with the strap across her chest. A note book showing from her long jacket pocket as she was holding a clip board in her hands. Look up to the shelves, down to the paper, marking something off and writing a number on the side of the name. Gripping the pen in her mouth as she moves a few items around to count them before repeating the process. After about an our the job was done, she would write the date and sign her name at the bottom of the 5 page long list. The only reason why she was so quick at this was because this has been her job since she joined the guild. It was easy for her. The rest of her day consisted of meeting CC for the better part of 3 hours. They discussed the music that she wrote and how to make it better and like every practice before this, she was told what she was doing wrong. This was fine, she knew where and how to improve. After this she would meet up with Katoka, they were starting to become friends again. To be honest it was sorta nice to have a friend like her back in the corner. This took the better part of 5 hours because when they started to talk, it was hard to just walk away. Meeting with Lium was the last of her to do list. She was slowly mending the relationships that she ruined. Carrying her 6th cup of coffee in hand, walking back to her house. It was earlier than she would have though but that was fine. She would take this small remainder of the day to eat and clean. Bed had to come sooner than later today because she was exhausted. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 10 Final EXP reward: +150% Mega Slime Farm 10% (8/16) Guild Rank 5 | +5% Final EXP reward Sam | HP: 240/240 | EN: 52/52 | DMG: 17 | MIT:20 | ACC:3 | AA | PHASE | EVA:1 | REC: 4 | LD:9 | PROSP:1 | QTY: 2 Spoiler Name: Sam, The Raven True Tier: 10 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 52/52 Stats: Damage: 17 Mitigation: 20 Accuracy: 3 Evasion: 1 Loot Die: 9 Stealth Rating: 5 AA PHASE REC: 4 QTY: 2 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Bhafel, Decree of War (PROJ-T4-Demonic): Absolute Accuracy, Accuracy 2, Phase Armor/Trinket: - Raven's Fickle Fortune - Solera:Loot Dice 2, Recovery 2 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Anathema's Merit:Quality 2, Loot Dice 1, Prosperity 1 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: - Cloth Armor R5 - Energist - Projectile Weaponry R5 - Quick Change - Searching R5 Extra Skills: - Hiding R5 - Concentration - First Aid R3 Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Ferocity - Nimble - Precision - Stamina Mods: - Athletics - Surpise Attack: Trickster - Tracking - Vanish Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Acolyte's Light (T4-Perfect-Cloth Armor): Evasion 1, Recovery 2 x1 - Bhafel, Strand of Vengeance (PROJ-T4-Demonic): Envenom 1, Bleed 1, Frostbite 1, Static 1 x - Gold Promise - Din's Flame (T1/Perfect):Accuracy 1, Evasion 2 x Housing Buffs: - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Lium 1 Posted August 16 #32 Share Posted August 16 Making short work of clear the area around the Mogheim village, a deal was a deal. He had been doing this for the better part of 2 months now. He was starting to gain respect from the villagers littered around the grounds. He was carrying a huge bucket back to town, it usually lasted the entire day. There was the rare occasion where he had to go out a second or third time but that was if Lakono people used it for something other than drinking. Either way he really didn't mind. He found this area to be peaceful in a way. It was noisy at times but that was nature life for you. At this point it was almost white noise for him, it was nice. Setting the huge bucket of water in the middle of the village, well closest to the middle as he could. The kids would run up to him and swarm him, "Woh woh woh easy on the merchandise you little gremlins" laughing as he fuzzes as many heads as he could with his hands. Some start to pull at his long black jacket. "We want to show ya somethin" one of them say. "Okay okay" glancing up seeing Lakono leaning against a tree with a smile with his arms crossed. "We were watchin you when ya were buildin the cages" a small female black haired beauty says in excitement. "We caught a bunch of lizards for you but we found one that looked different" a little boy, red head. Some of the kids crawl into a small space, there was no way that he was fitting in there. Apparently the knew this because the push a cage of medium size out of the crawl space. "See this one right here" another kid points a figure toward a gecko that was upside down of the rood of the cage. It was bright green with a head that was bigger than its body. Huge eyes with a darker shade of green stripes across his body vertically. It also had a small light brown V shape on the top of it head. There was other lizards in the cage with it that were all sorts of colors but this one was one of a kind. "Thanks little ones, I will add them to my collection. Maybe one day when I am done I'll show you all what I have done." They all start to run around in excitement, he smiles as he began to head to the hut. Setting the cage on the ground right next to his door, she unlocks the door and walks in. Taking out a match as he lights it with a hiss of small flames, creating like with the lantern that hung from the ceiling. Blowing out the tiny stick as it vanishes, he would opening the cage slowly and pull one out. Observing it carefully, it was trying desperately to get away. Even tried to bite him a few times but missed. Setting it in a empty barricade, he would pull out a note book and write what he noticed down. The behavior, the color and the patterns across their tiny little frame. He does this for every single one until he gets to the last one. Realizing that he left the cage door open but that one green Gecko was still just sitting there in the exact same spot staring at him. Putting his hand in the cage under it, it drops in his palm right side up. Turning to face him, Lium twists his head slightly. The little thing twists his head too and sticks out his tongue and pulling it back in as it makes a small chirping noise. "Very interesting" saying as he lifts his hand to his shoulders at it crawls right up. "Okay then" saying as he pulls a blank notebook out. Special Light Green Gecko, this was written as the topic for this sheet as he starts scribbling everything he knows about it. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 3 Final EXP reward: +155% Mega Slime Farm 10% (8/16) Guild Rank 5 | +5% Final EXP reward Lium | HP: 240/240 | EN: 52/52 | DMG: 17 | MIT:20 | ACC:1 Spoiler Name: Lium True Tier: 3 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 52/52 Stats: Damage: 17 Mitigation: 20 Accuracy: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - ST Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: - Charge - Cloth Armor R5 - Energist - Martial Arts R5 Extra Skills: - Survival Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Ferocity - Precision - Stamina Mods: - Athletics Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: Housing Buffs: - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Eruda 0 Posted August 16 #33 Share Posted August 16 For the last few days Eruda has been going with Raidou in the mornings to greet and deliver the folk that can't provide for themselves. It wasn't until them that she realized just how many towns in Aincrad drew the smaller straws. She couldn't believe that this many could be so damaged. After the morning pasted in what felt like a flash, she would let Rai know that she would be home in a little while. She had to go do something today that she had been meaning to do this last week. Ryllae saw something last week and since then she has left the house in a rush. At this point the red headed female wouldn't even look at her. Even this morning when Rai and her delivered some stuff to her stall there was a lot of no eye contact and blushing. Eruda had to figure out how to make the girl be okay with her again, not that she every really was in the first place but she had to try. Pulling out one of her many black ribbons from her inventory as she began to walk across the small bridges trailing the path the Ryllae shop. Approaching the stall, the girl looks up and see Eruda and he face intently flusters. Giving the girl behind the counter a painful glance as saying "I was hoping that maybe we could move passed what happened. Maybe get to know one another so that it isn't so weird, maybe even be friends?" For the first time in a week the female looks up at Eruda with curious eyes. "I have a gift for you" saying as she raises the black ribbon up to show her. "You tie it in your hair like this" saying as she point up to her own leaning forward so it could be seen. "I can help you put it in if you want?" Ryllae nods lightly, Eruda would smile and walk around the stall now standing behind the girl. "I thought that it would go good with you black and green outfit that you like wearing." A slight shift of the girls head, maybe curiosity. Couldn't know for sure without looking at her face directly. "I didn't think you noticed" the girl speaks up finally as Eruda finishes pulling the thick hair up in a mess but neat fashion. It was going to be a half pony. "I pay more attention than you might think. Like for instance," starting to say as she creates the bow with a smile and walks back around so that she could talk face to face with the girl. "The advice that I gave you about cutting the fruit into small pieces, you took it. They were smaller but I feel like there could of been more flavor there. I can show you what I mean if you would like?" The girl would smile and nod her head. For the better part of two hours the girls would cook bread together. Eventually there was regular conversations and laughter. This was only one of many, but this made her feel better. Finally getting home, she was exhausted. It was rounding about 5pm and Raidou had already started dinner. It was like clock work, she would help set the table and make the tea for the meal after greeting Rai with a hug from behind and a kiss on the cheek. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 11 Final EXP reward: +160% Guild Rank 5 | +5% Final EXP reward Eruda | HP: 270/270 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 8 | MIT:132 | TAUNT | F-SPIRIT | BRN-IM | FL.AURA: 8 | FL.THORNS: 4/8 | THORNS:36 | BH:15 | REC: 4 | BRN: 28 | LD:4 Spoiler Name: Eruda, Unbridalled Fury True Tier: 11 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 270/270 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 8 Mitigation: 132 Battle Healing: 15 Loot Die: 4 Stealth Rating: -5 TAUNT BRN-IM FL.AURA: 8 FL.THORNS: 4/8 REC: 4 BRN: 28 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Consuming Pyre - Surt T4: (Burn 2, Taunt) Armor/Trinket: - Reinforced Plate - Lily T4 Demonic: Flame Aura 2, Flameproof, Recovery 1 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Stalwart Defender T4 Demonic: Thorns 2, Recovery 1, Flame Thorns 1 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Mitigation R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Supernatural Fury Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Curved Sword R5 - Fighting Spirit - Heavy Armor R5 - Howl - Searching R4 Extra Skills: - Concentration - Survival - Block R5 Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Focus - Iron Skin - Stamina Mods: - Night Vision - Shield Bash - Tracking Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x1 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x3 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x5 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x5 - Teleport Crystal x2 Housing Buffs: - Dining Hall: Turn 3 identical food items (same quality, tier, & enhancements) into a Feast. Kodo 0 Posted Thursday at 04:21 AM #34 Share Posted Thursday at 04:21 AM Starting early like everyday before this one. Putting a pair of jogging sweat pants and tank top both white. The pants had two blank lines going down the length of each side. He always ate a ration right before, it would act the same to a protein bar and shake like back home. He was unable to find a shop that made actual protein fit meals so he would have to make due. Same route every day, five rounds around the town of beginning walls. It seems a couple miles around each time, so to him it felt like a ten mile run. Getting back to the inn he would order a large breakfast, the same thing everyday. Four eggs over easy, three bacon extra crispy with milk. No additives, it didn't need the spice to taste good. After this he would go back to his room where he would spend the next hour working out. A metal bar placed in the doorway that was made sturdy for pull ups. Another metal bar sitting on the floor that was made to be sixty pounds exactly. That was fun to order, they were very confused by why he just wanted two metal bars, one being light and sturdy and the other being heavy. That was his business though, they were NPC's so they really wouldn't understand. He would use the heavy metal for multiple reasons. Near the end of that hour he would do a hundred sit ups and pushups to end. Sitting against the bed now breathing hard, he knew that doing this would not effect his body on the outside but at the very least it would keep his brain stimulated. The next thing that he would do was pick flowers and head to the monument. Everyday he would visit, he could still feel his twins presence. Even though she was gone, she would never truly be gone in his heart. He was a long way from being a fighter like his sister. If he was being honest he was to scared to step foot out of the town of beginnings. He instead found a burger shop deep within the building of this town. He helped the old guy out, even became aware that he treats every customer like long lost family even if he didn't know them. This was a good choice for him. Getting familiar with players around the area and making friends with the owner. The man even said if Kodo put in the hours that he would pass the shop onto him if anything ever happened to the man. As sad as it sounded, he would do his best. At about eight pm his shift ends, Kodo gets payed a little bit and heads home to the inn. He always payed a month in advance. He never knew when he would game the courage to gain his own place. That he was working up to, handling a business was hard work even in a game like this. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 1 Final EXP reward: +165% Kodo | HP: 200/200 | EN: 38/38 | DMG: 9 | HLY: 2 | PARA-V Spoiler Kodo True Tier: 1 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 200/200 EN: 38/38 Stats: Damage: 9 HLY: 2 PARA-V Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Dreams of the Sublime +2 | T1 Perfect 1hCS | DMG, Holy, Para Ven. Enya 0 Posted Thursday at 04:30 AM #35 Share Posted Thursday at 04:30 AM The day spent with Kodo gave her idea's. She started framing her art, he had told her that they were all good. Be that as it may, she still thought that there was some that were much better than others. She had made a portfolio of the ones that were not framed at hung on the walls of her kitchen. Her shop would act as a restaurant and a art gallery when she was done with it. After a while of going through each photo to decide what was good enough she would yawn. It wasn't even noon yet but she was really tired. Walking to the coffee pot she would start brewing some. It was made from vanilla coffee beans, she had found them in a different store near her place. Grabbing a cup and pouring the hot liquid, she would pull out a cook book that she had also been working on the last couple days. It was more like idea's on paper that no one would think worked. In her opinion, the right ingredients and spices merged together it could taste okay. So far she had peanut butter and sliced banana sandwiches. Another was fresh ham cubes with shredded cheese, noodle and pickles. Stuff like that would be in her book of experiments. It could go horribly wrong in which she would need to change the recipe to make it work better. One of her favorite things to make was sunny side up eggs with chocolate chip pancakes drizzled with a strawberry syrup that was hand made. She would eventually need to go gather some more stuff or buy from other shops but in her opinion, the fresher the foot was, the better it tasted. After everything was said and done she would decide to head to floor 2. She had drawn everything that she could in this town and she needed new content. Arriving at the town called Urbus, it was a castle that was surrounded by a wall with other smaller building around. It looked to lay on top of a large cliff-ed area that only had one way out, a bridge that led out to a denser area of trees. She smiles as she starts looking for a good vanishing point to start drawing. Climbing on top of a building that was further away from the others that also had a flat surface, it was perfect. Sitting on the roof looking toward the castle like structure, she takes out her drawing pad and her color pencils and starts outlining curtain important points. These being the barrier around the town so that she knew how big the building should be. The next was the number of points of the castle and the amount of distance there was in between each. She would spend the better part of six hours here. it was now rounding about eight and the sun was about to set sail for the day. She would start gathering her supplies, she would have to come back tomorrow to finish this. It was already starting to look amazing but there was a lot of details that needed to be recorded. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 1 Final EXP reward: +170% Enya | HP: 80/80 | EN: 26/26 | DMG: 6 | ACC:1 Spoiler Enya, The Artist True Tier: 1 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 80/80 EN: 26/26 Stats: Damage: 6 Accuracy: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Rare Rapier: +1 DMG, +1 ACC Skills: - Rapier R2
Shayla 0 Posted Thursday at 04:34 AM #36 Share Posted Thursday at 04:34 AM Laying on the sandy beach, exhausted. She always was after the long training that she put herself through. She had to have some form of regularity. She was used to doing nearly the same thing everyday. She never had a problem with her life style, the care of friends became little to nothing to her. Maybe that was why her mother kept trying to get her to do other stuff while father was gone. The for she thought about it the more she would think that her father was running from something dangerous. Why would a father teach his young daughter from the time she could walk to fight, to protect herself unless her was involved in something horrible. Getting up from where she laid, from now on things were going to be different. Her father always told her to trust no one, that friend were just a distraction from the real world. To be honest, this was her world right now. How she is handling things now will not effect the body on the outside world. She was only allowed to eat what she was served, her parents were health nuts. She could eat the most unhealthiest thing here and would never gain a pound. There is so many things that she wished to do and try that was forbidden in her world. This was the time to do all those mystery things. Dusting herself off she would jog to the warp gate, there was a small restaurant in the beginning town that she had always wanted to try, well two actually. So today instead of going to the so called library to read the instruction manuals for SAO, she would go to the ice cream shop and order an ice cream sunday. Walking into the ice cream shop with a smile, the variety of colors and smells. A mixture of strawberry, orange cream, raspberry. It was every little girls dream boat. Walking up to the counter, eyes every yummy treat. There was sprinkles, and liquid topping. "I uh..." decisions were unknown, there was so much to choose from. "What is the most bought order's here" she would let the orders speak. "Well the orange sherbet is popular, that and the vanilla bean ice cream with the fudge syrup is bought a lot too. Pick you poison" he says with a smile. "Do you have an option for a banana split, maybe the vanilla bean with the strawberry syrup." The man simply nods, "Your wish is my command" saying as her starts the make the order. Sitting at a table, she stared at it for a while. She was hesitant to put it in her mouth. "I can't gain weight here. I will continue my training. I will be okay..." Taking a deep breath, she takes the spoon, and scoops some up. Putting it into her mouth, "OMG that is good..." she starts eating it faster. Blinking at it, stopping dead, she had a brain freeze. She had never had one before, it felt weird. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 1 Final EXP reward: +175% Shayla | HP: 20/20 | EN: 20/20 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Shayla True Tier: 1 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 20/20 EN: 20/20 Stats: Damage:
Lanna 0 Posted Thursday at 04:42 AM #37 Share Posted Thursday at 04:42 AM Sitting at the inn, eating a plate of scrabbled eggs with cheese. Freya hasn't spoke to her in months. The last time they spoke she told her that Lynn was gone. How could she say that her best friend was dead and then just now talk to her again. Did Freya not like her anymore, did she do something wrong. As of right at this moment, she has no friends, no business, no boys hanging around her fawning over her. In a real way she was lonely. She had never felt like this before. She always had anything that she wanted, but now she literally had nothing. She couldn't even figure out where her shop was, she did do that quest with Freya and after that she was left alone. After she was finished with her breakfast, digging in her pocket pulling out a hand full of change and dumping it on the counter. "Lanna remember what I told you, your food only cost 10 col." Counting out 10 pieces, this was different that normal money. She still was unsure what the face value of money. She didn't understand it. "That's good Lanna" she would smile at the man. In school she would give people money to do all that homework for her. If she was being honest she wasn't smart, never had been. Gathering the rest of the col from the table, putting it back into her bag. She didn't say anything, she didn't want to sound stupid. It was better this way. Walking out of the inn she looks out to the fields just outside the walls of the town of beginnings. Every time she left the town, she was run back into town by a boar. It was why she didn't go to higher floors, who knew what was actually up there. She was lost without a guide, without Lynn she felt like nothing. She knew that every one in her school thought that she was a joke. Maybe it was time to change that, could she change that. Could she be better, a better person. Was it possible to make that huge leap, could she be taught? Was she smart enough to do what she needed to do. Opening her HUD, her friends list consisted of Freya and a crossed out Lynn. Taking a deep breath, this was her reality now. If she was going to survive here she had to work harder than she ever has before. Maybe the first thing that needed to be done was getting a job. Walking to the quest board, one that Freya showed her, other than the quests there was little sheets a paper with job offerings from NPC's maybe. Pulling a few sheets of paper off the board. The next thing was to figure out how this mapped worked. Eventually showing up at this burger shop, walking in. It smelled really good, fresh. A green haired dude walks around the corner. "I'm looking into a job offer, is there an opening here." <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 1 Final EXP reward: +180% Lanna | HP: 20/20 | EN: 20/20 | DMG: 1 Spoiler Lanna True Tier: 1 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 20/20 EN: 20/20 Stats: Damage:
Mari 1 Posted Thursday at 05:11 AM #38 Share Posted Thursday at 05:11 AM Trudging home after a long few days of non stop fighting - the woman almost ... almost wished she held a green marker, just for the sake of ease - just so she wouldn’t need to trudge up and down the stairs constantly. Time was warped within this game. But it was still precious to her. At least it was now - before she went through the motions, didn’t care if she would live or die. The game had taken so much from her and somewhere along the line Mari wasn’t even sure who she was anymore. Or what she was fighting for. But…things change. She had reasons, she had people she cared about. Mari…was actually for the most part, enjoying herself again. She loved holding herself up in her workshop and working on all manner of things, tinkering with what the system would and would not allow - part of her wondered when Vitreous would pick up what he had requested of her so long ago. Mari had people like Oscar; who helped her with a very useful skill to allow her to amass large quantities of col and materials fast. Hell, she even had the guild - which she still had reservations about but they helped. Mari loathed to admit it, but they helped. Then she had to live, purely to spite people. People who wanted to see her fail, people who tried to strike her down. People like that dark shinsengumi. She wanted to give them all the proverbial middle finger. Mari was finally home…she trudged up to her door, newly fixed thanks to Raidou. There was still so much debris around, but that would be a problem for another day. “Vincent?” Mari called out as she opened the door. She was met with silence. Mari checked the living room, the kitchen- nothing. Even downstairs to the basement. Nothing. He must be upstairs. Finally, Mari checked her room. Lancaster was already asleep… Mari sighed as she kicked off her shoes. She’d been working so hard the last few days…trying to gather col…materials…fixing her weapons and armour. It felt like she had barely seen the man she was betrothed to. With a flash of the system's pixels Mari was in nothing more than one of his shirts, a single button done up. The woman needed a bath…a shower…anything. She probably stank to high hell, and she could practically feel the thick layer of grime on her body. Normally - Mari would never, ever crawl into bed this dirty - but this wasn’t real life. This was a game. This wasn’t real… Crawling on top of the covers Mari leaned over to press her lips to Lancasters head. He stirred slightly. She could see his own exhaustion reflected in the dark circles beneath his eyes - in the empty decanter by the bedside table. A pang in her heart as she realized he must have stayed up late waiting for her only to drink himself into some semblance of unconsciousness. “Oh Vincent…” Mari whispered, soft hands tracing his jawline. “I’m sorry.” She wanted to give him the world, and in doing so she was denying him the one thing he needed right now. Tomorrow. She’d give him the entire day tomorrow, and the next, and whatever else he would ask. ---- -Slime Farm used Mari + 10% Experience <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 12 Paragon: 0 Tier: 2 True Tier: 13 Final EXP reward: +185% Mari | HP: 240/240 | EN: 52/52 | DMG: 15 | MIT:32 | ACC:4 | AA | EVA:4 | BH:13 | BRN: 28 | ENV-O: 16 | PARA-V | LD:
Vex Vexxus 1 Posted Thursday at 06:22 AM #39 Share Posted Thursday at 06:22 AM (edited) Somewhere on the first floor; in the forests that surround the town of beginnings… I hummed softly to myself as I paced back and forth in front of the man. He was in a daze - a hypnotic state that I had placed him in all too easily. He had been a wealth of information, and had been useful enough. Now…I was contemplating if he should stay alive, or be dealt with. Kaput. Badabing, Badaboom. His name was Ben, but his screen name was less than ideal. One of the poor bastards who didn’t take care with their names. The kind of person who just mashed anything into the character creation system so he could get right into the gameplay. Typical gamer type shit. I bet he was surrounded by cans of energy drink and half eaten bowls of cereal and noodles. His dear poor mother probably walked in on him, hunched over his pc. It’s a wonder how he managed to keep himself alive this long, really. His username was ‘swolenuts’ I bet he had a real laugh at that, right up until he realised he was trapped - and thus he just defaulted to using his real name. A name worthy of its soon to be placement on the monument of life. I crouched down in front of him, carefully pulling his head forward so I could look at the symbols on the back of his neck. Ones I had placed there. A black heart, spade, club, and a red diamond. Anyone I had managed to make fall sway to my mentalist tricks I’d mark this way. Each one denoting something different. I knew their meaning, so I wasn’t going to repeat it, why should I? It’s not like anyone knew my innermost thoughts. This man was very easy to manipulate. So terrified of his predicament and so desperate to please those around him. “Poor Ben….” I muttered as I placed him back against the tree. His time here would come to an end, and his friends - who were they again? Ah that’s right..the knights of the sun and sword….or was it sword and sun? I could never remember which. They’d be vying for blood - and they’d be poking around in all the wrong places. It was hilarious and chaotic to see. I pulled out my dagger and placed it in Ben’s hand…or should I call him swolenuts? I placed it in swolenuts hands and then with him holding my own blade I had him stab himself Over and over and over again. Yessss…. How I adored that sound. THe game never quite got the resistance right though, a shame. There was just a certain…magic that the flesh held - and these digital bodies didn’t quite make the cut. I kept going till he exploded in a dazzling array of red pixels. “Job done!” I said, placing the blade betwixt my teeth as I dusted my hands, only to send my dearest Khione a message. Vex → Khione: Job done, one falls. Khione → Vex: I don’t care, leave me out of your shit. Vex → Khione: Just letting you know so you can update that book o yours. Ben gone. Khione → Vex : idc The other half dozen messages I had sent here were ignored. Oh well. I needed to find something new to play with now.
