The heavy looking smith wandered into the hall with a box brimming with blades, held tight against his chest. Easily dwarfing a small adult in weight, clattering around as he'd push his back against the double doors. A delivery raring to go, but instead of being stored it would be toted directly. But it would appear that his travels would not be held solo. For as he sets down the crate and runs his index down a page, the metal glove grinds as it slides across other players of his guild would begin to wander in with their own deliveries. "Mornin'" the smith pays to other younger and fresher faces, that are slower on the rise. A care package to aid in defense efforts that were already flimsy at best. Locking eyes with Griswold as he breaches the threshold of the guild hall in the forest of memories. "Good morning." spoken in a whimsical and simple greeting, taking a fix on the box in the smiths hands. Part of the pair that would be making transit to his own offer of aid, it would appear that today the deliveries aligned. Naturally that meant they would be traveling together, over the next few floors. It was harder then it looked, as most players didn't understand that teleport crystals don't function of your hands are full or your exceeding your weight capacity. Much like trying to use fast travel while over encumbered in a multitude of others. Settling himself into the idea, he scratches a check next to his target to affirm its pending completion. The woman returns with a sharp abrasive twist. It wasn't that abnormal for her to show up but yet she's always met with some semblance of shock. As if she wasn't playing glorified stock room organizer when the twins weren't strong enough to lift shit every once in a blue moon. A long yukata as was her normal during trade day, yet what was a pleasant surprise was seeing other members of the guild hall gathered around instead of beelining for the doors or stairs. "What's the occasion?" She comments finding her eyes get locked onto where Griswold's leaning arm had fixated. "Little early, mind if I tag along?" She bartered with the boys rhetorically. She'd been meaning to travel around and broaden her social network to make filling guild coffers through mutual trade a bit easier. That and any player stores she happened to stumble upon would be an entire bonus, keeping a medium size army well equipped was quite the errand. A smile as she looks toward the forming group, curious as to why so many had gathered around in the main meeting chamber. It wasn't until she started pegging the boxes and packages that it clicked and a glance up toward her HUD confirms the date. Locking in to the reason for the gathering after a short peruse of her companions, the girl rounds her fingers around her ear to tuck the strand of hair out of the way. "Count me in." The girl quips without much reason for volunteering other then the fact she loved to offer aid to her guild whenever the moment arose. That and her cousin was already clearly along for the ride, and the time they actually had to spend together was already scarce. Gaius 0 Posted October 6 #6 Share Posted October 6 The last but certainly not least to show up at the guild hall around the same convenient timing, a 6'4 tall dark and handsome man carrying a stack of glass bins filled with freshly prepared meals. All of them were specially baked in such a way that they had a longer shelf life: breads, tack, etc. They rattle a bit as the guy skirts through the door, swaying a bit to keep a grasp on the pile of platters. "What's all this?" The dragoon beckons looking for an answer from the pile before he starts to head for the stairs. "Oh fuck right." The man realizes about half way up the case, and bounds back down tilting his stack of containers. "Elf floor right?" He comments and Griswold fires back a thumbs up, and Kasumi nods. The guy was slow but not lazy, relaxed but motivated. Taking a thicker leather strap out, he anchors them down and prepares for the long haul. Up the floors to drop this sucker off. A couple extra standard materials like linens or twine, cables or thread. Simple stuff, to add with his own. To the meeting room table, he scans the ledger and puts marks near Griswolds, Gaius's delivery and passes some extra supplies to Kasumi, Celeste and Simmone for transit. With that, he maps a route through the city points using the plaza warp gates and runs against the clock to glean how long the journey would take using the 3d map. "About 2 hours, give or take." He comments to the party, sending them invites for ease of tracking and hoisting his own luggage up to his waist. Out the guild hall door, the nomad leads the charge to the sun elf capital. Toward the city of coral, a conga line of players carrying boxes of all sizes and smells. One by one the little entourage step up the warp plaza, because player teleports would not function. "Floor 23, Kalanaes!" Gaius remarks causing him to be bathed in blue light, space is folded and he is jettisoned up a floor in the blink of an eye. Much like star trek the man just materializes on the dark elf platform and steps down to match shoulders with Rai. Waiting patiently for the rest of the team to enter the floor in a single file light show. Once all 6 had shown up, Gaius turns to play follow the leader and notices the man already heading along the stretch without much warning. Walking to his own beat. With such haste, it doesn't take long before the group arrives in Aradennia, just a fuck load of stairs. In terms of being subtle, the dude clearly didn't have much in the way of it. Passing her container off, the girl clutches a handful of pink petals from a back on her side. A sprinkle of the things sees her dance around visibility, sliding out of view and choosing to catch her pursuer off guard by circling around. What she finds is a decent size gathering of foes holding conversation, having pegged their group and overhearing talk of attacking the group once they broke apart. A highway robbery so to speak. A flick of her menu open, the girl signals the alarm to her team to round them up. Placing the crate she was toting down on the top of a counter top, its slid forward a bit to prevent it from falling off. Her finger extends to press down on that floating blue icon, and a quick scan of the message has her face twist to one of alarm. "That's my queue, best of luck Hiyjak" The woman pays the general store merchant before bounding out. Modesty out the door as she runs, an orchestration of her HUD sees her leap in a running sprint and her attire shift before she hits the ground. Like a sailor moon transition scene with quite a bit less grace or fan service. Her rapier is withdrawn seconds after, keeping up with a rather impressive sprint in leather heels. She rounds the corner and hones in on Kasumi driving a gaggle of goons into the pavement. "Impressive, Mind if I cut in?" Simmone quips rending through in a single blinding flash of purple, with a snap of her right hand spreading the damage to multiple and killing the one impaled. "Bout time things took an interesting turn!" Celeste shrieked cleaving a few of the dudes in half with a single but brutal wide horizontal stroke. At the midsection they are clipped, and pieces of them bounce limply in meat shrapnel across the cobbled stone pathways. The notable grayish purple skin seems to denote dark elves, and yet the woman isn't one for such insights. All that mattered is that they had tried to rob them, and this was a lot more fun then toting around crates to very monotone NPC's. The fate's armiger she held taught in her clutches, as her skill ringed true and her image becomes to shift from solid to incorporeal and back with some of Gabrandr's special brand of weird. All the while her eyes become a rich vibrant strike of crimson speckled with a single drop of azure, a gift from the father himself as the inheritor. It made reaching her much easier then most, and like a train the smith barrels through the pack of people like a pile of bowling pins. If there was a 3rd party judge around, they'd feel obligated to yell strike as the enemies that remained are plowed through by a 6'9 running juggernaut in full plate armor and a shield the size of door. Two of those three foes find themselves tossed against the alleyway with enough force to break a spine, and instead they pop like a glass plate against a kitchen floor. Flickers of blue data spray out the moment they make impact, leaving a cloud of the stuff behind. The toughest and largest among them stayed alive, but was utterly concussed and real worse for wear. Clearly this little gaggle had bitten off way more then they could chew. Springing up into the air by bouncing off the walls as if they were sections of floor, the dragoon takes to the heavens. His inventory screen rips open as he tears through an awning, and within a couple taps his long thin polearm appears. A yank of his hand grabs the shaft and a spin like propeller it roars up over his shoulder. A surge of energy causes his eyes to light up to show a skill activation being channeled, but wind itself begins to swirl reducing his weight and keeping him aloft. The weapon in his hand sees a similar light from his eyes humming from the spears point, but beginning to grow bright and exceed that weapons tip. In a lime green star it gains more and more moxie to match the man who wields it, with powers untold growing into extraordinary overkill. The streets of Aradennia where some of the nigh endless roads to which he knew like the back of his hand. The reflection of a pair of lenses on his face as he'd come into view, on the opposed flank of the rest of his group. It appeared to the man that the rest of his guild members had already done quite a fair number of dispatching these ass clowns long before his arrival, but what trap he had set was about to be sprung. Roice as he was named, a focus of the eyes and a targeting that produced a cursor revealed that of red: a mob. Finding itself almost on death's door it would turn to run. But instead of clear passage, it would find its route cut dangerously short by the nomad in red. Seconds of movement ceased as he collides with Raidou, and but a brief instant of understanding before a sunlight colored blade is driven clean through his sternum without a second of pause. Routed, Raidou mills in his pocket as he moves to lifeless, collecting everything that would explain the finer details. She was starting to wonder if this was normal in this part of the town. Eyes darting to figure out where the next group would come out from. Seeing them, a small huff from her lips before parkouring down the tiles to get to ground level. A direct forward punch to the sternum, a dodge and a dash between each before she would get to higher ground once more. Every man that was hit would hold their chest grasping for air before falling over like domino’s. A small smile appears on Kasumi’s lips as she knew that would set them up for the next that would follow up. Crossing over the big dude, stepping over one of the many men laying on the ground unable to move. It would help if the bandits were not so far from the last group but he couldn’t really control that. Seeing the target that someone had made, he would strike down hard against that X. The dude looks like he gets shocked as little lightning streaks coalesce over his body. He finally takes a breath and starts hacking as he was trying to catch his breath. After a moment the man would try to get up and Griswold would kick him back down to the ground. Pure fear presents itself on the man’s face as he tries scooting backwards on his ass. He would find himself running into something, when he looks up there is a pair of glasses staring back at him with a red robe dangling lightly over his face. Griswold would grin as he figured the end would be near for at least this crowd. It was collecting every dust particle it could around these parts. “You still not ready?” Asking his weapon as if it could hear what he was saying. All Brionac would do was glow very very slowly like it was waiting for something specific. “I’ll be down soon” calling out to his group, “I hope” he would then say in a smaller voice only he would hear. The weapon had a mind of its own and was ready when it wanted to be. He had little control over when it would happen, but when it did all hell broke loose. This next attack, whenever it happened, would shred the ground to nothing. He was kinda hoping he wouldn’t have to destroy a part of this town though, it was kinda pretty. He knew it would grow back but if he hit anything that wasn’t dude then he might turn orange for a short time. For now he would just hope for the best and accept whatever will transpire. Seeing the others use the man as target practice, she would give an inhale and a small puff of air. The man would try getting away but fails and instead is trapped between her entire team. Jumping from the two story building right on top of the last man, swiftly pushing out six punches against the man's chest where the X marked the spot. It was mere mili seconds before she would completely vanish from one's point of view. Leaving only a trace of little pink petals floating down onto the dude's body. Back against a building as she peeks out, the man was hacking trying to catch his breath once more. This poor bandit was having a very bad day, but he started it so it was only fair. She would watch from a distance to make sure everything was smooth sailing but she had faith in her team and knew she had nothing to worry about.
