The 4th floor, it was past noon when a certain blonde figure could be seen walking in the snowy fairy-tale like landscape of Snowfrost Village. In any other day she would take her time and admire the frozen surroundings but today... she had important business to attend to and she was a bit nervous about it. Her trusty companion, Kimba, walking in front of her would turn around to make sure that she didn't walk too fast and lose sight of the blonde. They both knew their destination but would prefer to arrive there in the same time. Either way, the streets were filled with all kind of people, NPC and players alike, that were out because of the rare occasion of good weather. normally it would heavily snow or even blizzard in  the 4th floor but today the weather was perfect, with a light snowfall that gave the place a calming feeling.

The two have finally arrived at the intended place, 'Drunken Crane Inn' the nameplate wrote. Making Ariel release a short chuckle as she walked to the front entrance doors. The doors themselves let out a horrid squeaking noise as they were opened and closed by the blonde. She then continued towards the receptionist that was in the main antechamber, behind his desk. At the sound, he raised his eyes towards the origin and then instantly frowned, showing a mild displeased face: "You again?" he muttered under his mustache.

The blonde showed a mischievous smile as she approached him, and after a few elegant hand gestures she materialized a bag of col on the desk, directly in front of the man. She then answered him in a half jovial tone: "Yes sweety, me again. Don't look so surprised, we already talked about me renting your main hall for the day, haven't we? Now be a good boy and bring me a green lime ice tea and make sure to escort any of my incoming guild members and guests, there" she then points towards the entrance to the main hall "We have much to discuss and little time to waste. Any who asks for the Absolute Pin meeting would be escorted there, k? " Then with a quick half spin, the blonde started walking towards the place she early pointed, entering the room.

Behind her, the Innkeeper let out a small sigh as she gazed at Kimba, who for some reason stayed behind. "Quite a piece, that gal. isn't she?" he asked, half expecting an answer. he wasn't afraid, he already meet the woman and the lion when they were first here. Some fancy meeting like this one, at that time 4 more people showed up. "I wonder how many will show up today?" he asked himself as he went to prepare the ordered beverage. Kimba, who was still looking at him, simply let out a low growl and went after her blonde companion, entering the roam.

Once inside the Main Hall, Ariel let out a sigh of relief. the place was already arranged as she instructed. A main, and a bit larger table was placed somewhere visible, with other 2 in front of it. Each table hold sets for 4 persons so a total of 12 people could be seated in the room. Of course there were other tables and sets nearby if needed, but these 12 seats were enough to house the full numbers of her guild: Absolute Pin. All 13 of them, if the place would get full she would stand up if needed, She was still surprised, even shocked that her guild had doubled in members since founding. 'I guess that is what happens when something new starts, now we have to keep the flow going and don't forget our main purposes. I, will make sure we won't!' she thought, as she took a seat at the main one that she reserved for the council members: herself, Teayre, the bearer of the Knight Piece and Calrex, who holds the Rook Piece. it was a small council indeed but there were still 2 free places in it, and maybe in time some of the new recruits would prove themselves worthy of occupying them.

The blonde took out the two pieces she had, The King and Queen Piece, and started playing with them between her fingers as she waited for the other members. She had been informed of some familiar faces joining her guild like Hikoru and Takneil and also Rolland the one player she personally recruited but the others were a mystery to her. 'I guess being on the 10th floor for a while did take its toll on me. I used to know every newbie and help them as I could but now... family comes first!' she thought as she review the guild member list once more. She would have to wait and see who would show up.

"Lalala it's a beautiful morning! Lalala it's a beautiful day!" Skylar strummed his guitar and carefully skipped down the slick sidewalks of Snowfrost Village. More then once has Skylar witnessed massive wipe outs from players just walking. {The streets are a lot more busy then usual. It is a great day to gather business and allow people to hear my voice. No! I have to focus today.} Today was his first meeting since being able to join the guild Absolute Pin.

Skylar turned around to check on Rutta, who was also acting more like a cub today. The Leopard just loves being here on this floor, the cold makes him feel more alive. Rutta played and rolled in the snow but kept up with his master just in case. The dark hair and olive skin easily seen in the white of the snow. They made there way to the 'Drunken Crane Inn' The place was pretty warm for a fourth floor location. Then again Skylar never came to this floor much. Except to gather his supplies and eat cake.

Skylar walked inside and cleared his throat at the receptionist. "Now what do you want? The grumpy man asked Skylar. "I am here for a meeting in the main hall, with the Guild Absolute Pin." The NPC stared at Skylar and Rutta a bit before answering "Right there. Just make sure to keep the beast in check." Rutta seemed slightly offended by the statement, and turned his head. Rutta noticed another white animal the same time Skylar did. "Go over there and play man. I will see you in a bit."

Skylar entered the hall and looked around. One main, and a bit larger table was placed somewhere visible, with other two seats in front of it. Each table hold sets for four people, so a total of twelve people could be seated in the room. At one table by herself was an old familiar blond head. "Hello Ariel! I have not seen you in a long time." His voiced echoed of the mostly empty room. Making him sound a lot louder then he normally was. "Or should I say miss Ariel?" Skylar was not one for honorifics much, but he would show respect.

Skylar took a seat at the table in front of the council. Calrex would show up and Skylar could finally see that fiancee of his. He stayed silent waiting to be spoken to after he sat down.

"Ahhh, today feels amazing." Clarence sighed and looked up, the light snow fall on this floor made everything beautiful and full of life. The added clearance of weather made the floor full of NPC's and Players a like. { Wow, on this floor. I have met so many amazing people... Like Piers who is no where to be found. I hope this meeting is okay though. Only know like Ariel and Skylar there... } Clarence sighed and put his hands in his pockets, maybe today will be good, hopefully....

Scouting out for the Inn we were meeting in, Clarence saw the <<Drunken Crane Inn>> A place Clarence hasn't even seen before. { That's new.. i almost always go through this floor and check shops out. Here we go, don't be nervous! } That was kind of hard for Clarence to do, when he barely knows anyone there.

Clarence approached the Inn and saw a little leg of a familiar strolling in. {  Someone has a familiar... Reminds me of Skylar. } Memories and feelings flowed to Clarence as he smiled happily and walked to the front desk where a very irritated man sat,  grumbling about some woman.
"Hi.. I'm hear for the Absolute Pin Me-" Clarence was cut off by the man who pointed to his left and said. "There."

"O-okay, thank you..." Clarence trailed off and walked cautiously into this room, his social Anxiety making it hard for him to go in but he did. A big set of three chairs dominated to front of the room, where he recognized Ariel immediately. "Hi Ariel!" Clarence called and waved. His eyes scanned the room and saw Skylar, the other person there. "Skylar!" Clarence almost yelled and walked over to the table he was at. "Fancy meeting you here." Is what Clarence said as he sat down next to Skylar.

{ Skylar is here!! But I also can meet Calrex's fiance!! A better day then I thought it was going to be! } Clarence was now in a very good mood, hopefully nothing will end, hopefully.

A couple of minutes after Skylar and Clarence had arrived the door opened once again as a blue haired young man walked into the inn. Like the person before him he did not have a familiar with him, but Calrex was bearing a different equipment set from the last time. When Ariel had first summoned him here he was bearing the entirety of the Grand Armament sans the Grand Chariot armor. This time he was wearing something in place of the Grand Gauntlets as well: A glass ball hanging from a necklace which seemed to have a miniature ocean inside. Teayre's gift to him, the Ocean's Defense. The only thing left from his initial setup was the Grand Blade, the deep sea blue straight sword that was strapped to the back of his hip.

"Oh, it's you from last time. I'm guessing you're here for the meeting as well?"

"Yup, the Absolute Pin..."

"Right over there."

"Thank you. Is it alright if I put in a drink request?"

"Well I've already got one why not?"

"Hm...I'm curious what Teayre's gonna get. It's still the middle of the day, so I could probably assume that she's not gonna go ordering an entire bottle of rose again...I think? Guess I'm not too familiar with her drinking habits just yet."

Calrex thought about it got a couple more seconds, deciding to getting a marriage of two ideas in his head.

"Guess I should get something. I'll just make it able to work for both an afternoon or evening engagement. I'd rather not look awkward and not have a drink on hand like last time."

"A...hard hot chocolate."

"Excuse me?"

"Hot chocolate with a bit of cinnamon and a dose of this game's equivalent of tequila. I know it doesn't do anything, but I'm not sure how long this meeting is going to go."

"Hm...I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Don't blame me if it doesn't come out good."

"That's perfectly fine just give it your best."

With that Calrex turned and entered into the meeting hall, seeing three people already there. He put on his calm friendly face as he gave a wave an nod to Ariel, Clarence, and Skylar, who had already arrived, "Long time no see you guys!"

With that he noticed the layout of the tables, deducing that Ariel had intended for him and Teayre to be sitting near her since they were council members.

"Alright, well this certainly reminds me of a conference room. Heh, guess there's really no room to set it up like the Knights of the Round Table, but maybe that might change once the 11th floor gets cleared."

With that he walked over and took a seat in his respective chair.

Ping!

The sound alerted the blonde to a new private message. Bringing up his menu, Oikawa skimmed the contents of the PM and grinned. Sounds riveting and Kotori will be there I assume. Typing up a quick reply, the blonde whistled for King to join him as he set out for the fourth floor.

The soft crunch of the snow was a pleasant reminder of how much time he and King spend on this particular floor. As they marched through the lightly snowed streets, Oikawa checked the coordinates to make sure he was heading to the right place. Drunken Crane Tavern? Never heard of it. I assume it is the equivalent of the first floors Starlight Cafe. Ahh that must be it just ahead. Lightly pressing against the wooden doors, the blonde and his familiar entered the tavern. He immediately noticed Kimba and a rather unfamiliar sight. Another leopard cub? How will King react? He didn't have to wait long to get his answer as the cub dashed passed him and joined the group of familiars. I suppose he'll be fine.

Approaching the receptionist, Oikawa spoke. "Absolute Pin meeting?"

"Just up ahead."

"Thank you. King, behave yourself." With that Oikawa walked down to the main hall and entered the room. He recognized three of the four people. The queen herself, Ariel. The Ultramarine Knight, Calrex. A customer by the name of Skylar, and I'm unfamiliar with the other player. No sign of Kotori. I wonder if she'll show...

"Hello everyone," stated the blonde as he took a seat opposite of Ariel at the furthest end.

A bandit quest. It would be a great place to show off her skills to the rest of the guild as she still hadn't been fully accepted into it. It was nice to be accepted, but her skills were still being doubted all the time. It kept her off kilter although the resignation of a certain guildmate calmed her down a bit. The snow did as well. It was so calming and peaceful, the snowflakes gathering on her and her hair whilst it slowly dangled on her back. This couldn't last forever since the building was coming up really fast and she had to go in. It was still nice while it lasted. Brushing off the white snow off her hair and on her, the girl entered the place where she was supposed to meet, "Drunken Crane Tavern."

She headed towards the counter before being redirected to the left and being told to head the main hall. She entered it and then stopped dead in her tracks before resuming to walk towards the tables meanwhile not making eye contact with anyone. Oikawa was here. Why? It was bad enough that she was having troubles by herself, but now she had to be with him. She had nothing against that, but it was a game-changer now. It seemed there was only one table left with no people so she decided to seat herself there. It would be fine, all she had to do was no make eye contact with anyone. She didn't really do so with him so maybe he would guess she hadn't seen him although she knew better. Hopefully the meeting would start soon.

Checking the room, she saw that Ariel and Oikawa were sitting at the same table and then two other presumed members of the guild were doing so as well at another table. It was an odd arrangement although of course there would be the no shows who weren't going to participate at all. That would need some careful strategy to work out considering the size of the bandit groups that roamed around although they could still make it work if they tried and if she tried as well.

Hikoru walked into the inn, smiling as he saw the others of his guild. As he started to walk over, he was stopped with an arm, and a gruff of a man behind the counter

"You apart of that Guild meeting?" He asked, eyeing me up. I pulled out my square piece.

"Yes sir, and here's my piece to prove it!" He said as he smiled. He man sighed

"I can see the symbol above your head...." He said, slightly laughing. He looked, but saw nothing, then he looked over at his Guildmates, and saw that they had the symbol above their head, so he could only guess that he was the same case. He laughed akwardly and put his square away, making his way over to the group. He waved at all that were gathered

"Hey guys!" He said simply, not wanting to cause too much attention. He smiled and made sure everything he needed was equipped to himself, preparing for the mission. He equipped his trusty new blade, Back-Biter, and grazed his finger over the blade. He liked the new blade his friend Finn had made for him, and he smiled and put it into his sheath. Next, he made sure that Hope and Pride were apart of his wardrobe as well. He smiled and felt the fabric softly, remembering the memories that these things held. Finally, he made sure his leopard plushie was equipped to him, and he pet it slightly, reminding him of Kimba, Ariels Familiar. He sighed and sat down into an empty booth nearby, not wanting to bother anyone else in the group.

Guest Meokka

Meokka walked right past the bouncer of the place. She moved right past him when he wasn't looking her way. It wasn't intentional either. Meokka just wanted to get from point A to point B. Point B being where her sister/leader was waiting for her. She held the highest regard for her. So much that when she heard about a guild event to do the Bandit quest she took action. She had looked the quest over in the past and knew there was no way she could handle the quest on her own. That was when she was level five. She looked at it again at level ten feeling as if she had accomplished nothing. Looking back on it now was almost hilarious. She looked around seeing some new members. This brought a smile to her face. She was rather pleased to be in their company.

Looking around she spotted Teayre and Calrex. She gave them a nod and smile. Once she saw Ariel she walked over to her with a sense of entitlement. She stood at the ready next to her prepared for whatever mission the woman would give her. Yet she didn't stand so close that no one could talk to her. Just close enough to follow any order given to her.

Dashing out of her shop, her coat flapped in the wind behind her as she held the Oikawa Kanashiki in one of her hands still sheathed as her eyes were narrowed. “Dangit, I’m going to be the last one to arrive… Again.†As she rounded the corner she caught site of Meokka disappearing into the same inn as last time. Slowing to a walk Teayre fixes her coat so that it sits on her properly the clasp going around it at the top as she pulls the hood up, the lion emblem of Ariel’s shop fluttering in the wind on the cuff. As she reaches up to open the door to the inn her stops her hand just before opening the door taking a couple of breaths before stepping inside. Her eyes flicked around and it was the same man as the previous meeting, walking up to him her hood low she glowers out from underneath the hood at him. “Wine. Now.†Retrieving some col she slips it onto the desk as she waits for the man to fetch it. The innkeeper quickly grabbed a wine glass and started to pour Teayre some rosé, tutting at him she snatches the bottle from the innkeepers hand and downs it before smashing the glass. “Thanks for that I think I’m ready now… A second one with a glass this time brought in approximately ten minutes.†Letting out a sigh taps the bishop’s piece in her pouch drawing it out of her pocket she fiddles with it before opening the door to the meeting room.

The room in front of held three tables each holding four seats, smirking to herself as she spotted Ariel and with a flick of her wrist sent the bishop piece flying towards the blonde. “Our bishop had different views to us. Now there is an opening.†As she gazed around the room taking in the faces her hand tightened around her katana, the sound of black leather stretching resonated loudly. “So we have Ariel, Calrex, Oikawa, Kotori, Hikoru and Meokka that I know that means that couple over there must be Clarence and Skylar.†After taking in the faces of her fellow guild mates Teayre’s eyes flick over to the group’s familiars she swallows fighting back the tear that made its way straight to her eye. A whisper escapes her lips “Beleram…â€

Stepping into the room keeping her head hidden beneath her hood, her short stature gave her away to those who knew her however.  Calrex and Ariel had chosen to sit at the middle table their seats facing the main part of the room, her eyes flicked to Oikawa who had distanced himself from Ariel. “That’s odd then as I recall he’s not a guildie so his positioning would make sense… He’s a very useful asset though.† As her eyes glossed over Kotori sat on one table alone as she looked at the other table Hikoru was sat there alone as well. As she smirked she stepped into the room some more her hood sliding back revealing her smile, leaving the rest of her face shrouded in shadow. As her eyes flicked up she saw Meokka stood behind Ariel with the two members she didn’t know sat by Oikawa.

“Well then everyone but Ariel and Calrex get your butts up push the tables together and then sit around them so it’s easier to talk.†Giving Ariel a deep bow Teayre smiled at her mischievously as she pushed her hood down exposing her head for everyone to see, a steely glint in her eyes. “I presume you had some plan about things but rather than ostracising people let’s all be one big family. Which is why you created this guild wasn’t it Ari-chan?â€

Quickly waiting for the tables and chairs to be put together Teayre makes her move and swiftly darts about the room, enacting her plan. “Now then-“ Furrowing her brow as she was interrupted she eyed the innkeeper who came in with various drinks and handed them out to who had ordered them. Giving him a curt nod of thanks the red read gestures to the man. “Could you bring some food and water as well.†She had asked a question but it was obvious that she wasn’t making a request. Taking her bottle of rosé she took a small sip of it as her eyes careened around the figures sat around the table.

“Now then… If you don’t already know me, you have probably worked out I’m Teayre. The Red Knight of this guild and also the offensive strategist.†The girl paused again taking another sip of the wine before throwing the glass into the fire and taking a swig straight from the bottle. As the crystals dispersed she smiles, “Ah. That’s better. Right down to business. You can introduce yourself as you talk in case anyone here doesn’t know you.†The red head paused for a moment before continuing, “There’s a quest on the ninth floor that requires to wipe out a group of bandits. We will be splitting down into groups in order to take on this quest. There’s too many people to do the quest as a group of nine, things will get clunky and we will get in each other’s way.†The small red head stopped speaking for a moment as she took another swig of her wine.  Shaking her head momentarily as she glances over to the frolicking familiars yet again, unable to hold it back this time a tear comes to her eye. “Damnit. Looking at who we have here I am thinking three teams of three, each one headed by a member of the council.â€

Casting her eyes to both Calrex and Ariel trying to gauge their thoughts on her… intrusion.  â€œSo if people would care to begin let’s start with the other two members of this council.†Pulling her chair out Teayre sits down half way down the conjoined tables kicking her feet onto it as they land it knocks her wine bottle up off the table which she catches out of the air and swigs from whilst she leans back in her chair swinging. Looking over to Oikawa she catches his eye and quickly winks at him before anyone else has a chance to notice.

As the blonde was 'patiently' waiting for the other members to arrive, she kept tapping on the table with her chess pieces. Her silent torture came to an end as the room's entrance door cracked open. Raising her gaze, Ariel found herself looking at Skylar, who casually greeted her as he came in.Then she was concerned about the proper honorifics he should use. She thought for a second about that as :

"Ariel is enough, I won't impose a strict ethics code within the guild. And yes it has been too long Skylar." She said in a half-happy tone as she continued:"I do, in return, show and expect to be treated with respect. I'd like to apply that concept guild-wise but that depends on each person's education." she cleared her tone to get rid of her serious tone, that had become unnecessary for a friendly reunion and continued:" Please take a seat." Then the door opened the second time as a brunette, that Ariel recently initiated, entered the room. He casually saluted Ariel and in the next second, shouted Skylar's name in excitement as he rushed towards him, probably without noticing that she'd nodded to in return to his greeting.

'Okay people are starting to gather. Let's hope that it will be a decent party. After all, this will be the first guild thing since the foundation meeting. I expect at least 2/3rds of the members to be present. If not...I will have to have a serious talk with the recruiting part.' she thought before Calrex, bearer of the Rook piece entered the main hall. He was wearing his, 'civilian' clothes leaving only his weapon visibly equipped at his waist.

"Nice necklace you got there!" she said "A gift from T-chan I suppose, since nobody can make something that pretty around here no more." she asked with a sheepish smile after she nodded back to him.

The next one to come was a non-guild member but instead a old friend. Oikawa, the faint, she could add an innumerable amount of words to describe him and decided to simply to nod to him. Introducing him and revealing the motive of his presence here, later on in the meeting. The remaining members came one after another, teayre being the last and making herself a grand entrance. She threw something at Ariel which the blonde catched by instinct. Looking at it she heard the redhead's words she was a bit surprised when she'd hear Teayre start ordering people around. As the group was finally here and settled down, again the red clad woman took initiative and started the mission introduction and briefing in a military fashion. The blonde couldn't help but sincerely smile as she heard Teayre explain the detail. And she spoke as her turn came, she let out a clear voice that echoed through the large room:

"First of all, for those who don't know me yet. My name is Kayla Ariel D'Sole, as per my parents wish the interpretation of my name is 'Crowned Lion by the Sun God'. So lions became part of my personality... and my work here in SAO, as you can see." she then gently points towards Teayre's cuff, the items Hikoru had and Meo's armor, all the items she had made bored the 'crowned lion' logo that she exclusively used. She looked at Oikawa for a second, remembering that she made him one item, a while back: 'guess he found something better' she thought before looking at the others and continuing her 'speech'.

"Now that that is out of the way, it's unfortunate that we lost our Bishop. Anyone who feels that his personal ideals come in conflict with the guild's mokuteki, is invited to do the same as Aza did. I will not stop you if you feel so." she then stopped realising she had slipped a word in her native language but decided to ignore it as a translation bubble with the words 'mokuteki=a purpose; an end; a goal; an aim; an object' would appear above her head for a couple of seconds. She then exhaled and continued in a more than relaxed tone, a smile slowly creeping on her face:

"The one in charge of things in this quest is Teayre, the rest of us are here to help her. She had adopted the 'Knight' role pretty well as head of offensive matters. That is all I have to say for now." next her eyes meet Teayre's as she continues:

"I just asked for 3 tables in the center" half-lied the blonde, when she talked about the arrangements with the receptionist, she wanted the council members to have a slightly bigger table with 3 seats. But Teayre's rearrangement seemed to better fit the overall guild atmosphere she wanted.

As she sank into the chair, the blonde couldn't help but see that Teayre, despite her firm standing, had a sad expression. She didn't want to interrupt the meeting so she leaned towards Calrex and asked in a whisper: "Did something happen to her?" she asked in a worried tone.

Guest Meokka

At first she didn't register the name. She never called Azazel by Aza. Yet there was a knot in her stomach for some reason. She looked over to Teayre and wondered what had happened. Something seemed off to her. For now she disregarded her own stomach because her friend seemed upset right in front of her. Teayre however upset seemed to be ordering the waiter about. Meokka just moved her chair closer to Teayre and gave her leg a gentle pat under the table before scooting away to give the woman some room. She didn't want to stay in her personal bubble to long. She was unsure of the situation. She was drinking, which, might be normal? Barking orders, which didn't seem normal, but she was suppose to take command of the room. Yet she felt something very off with everything.

She just sat there and watched her for a moment. Then realized something. What if she was afraid? No, that couldn't be it. Meokka looked around the room. Everyone seemed to be a seasoned professional in some way. With a group of three the endevour should be simple. Yet her purple eyes fell on the crimson haired maiden again. She then looked to Calrex. He seemed healthy. So if it wasn't Calrex than who? Maybe she had a close call recently? Meokka looked away and just ordered a orange slush with a little bit of tequila.

She listened to  what she had to say then clapped after she was finished. Trying to rally her as best she could it was all she could think of for her. She gave a strong nod. She didn't know what was going on but she figured they were friends they could chat about it later.

Then something hit her. Ariel's words. She stopped clapping listening to what she said again. As if for the first time. 'leave the guild.' Her memory snapped remembering hanging out with Teayre and Azazel. Aza was Azazel. Though, she just saw Azazel the other day! Why didn't she say something sooner? Or had the woman tried? Maybe that's why her friend was out of sorts. Azazel wasn't there. She wondered why Azazel would abandon them. Well it didn't matter she wouldn't do that to Teayre. She already missed Azazel but part of her didn't because she took a cowards leave. She wished the woman would have at least sent her a message. Either way she'd wait for it for a month. If it never came. What was she to do? She pushed it to the back of her mind.

"So groups of three. Do we pick lots?" Meokka asked coolly.

All her mental questions were neither here nor there. They simply did not matter. What mattered right now was protecting Teayre, and the guild meeting. She'd do all she could.

"*sigh* There she goes being all tough like a knight again...in a way it's kind of cute, but right now it seems more unsettling than anything"

Calrex nodded as he assisted Teayre with moving the tables a little bit closer before returning to his seat, listening to her introduction and immediately beginning to discuss tactics. As she tossed her glass into the fire he gave another small sigh to himself, "Well, I definitely called it on the bottle of rose...although I kind of feel bad for the person running this place."

As Ariel began to introduce himself the person he had spoke to in the front arrived, setting the drink he had ordered in front of him, the hard hot chocolate. He gave a nod of thanks as the person walked off as he took a gulp. He could taste the mix of chocolate, cinnamon, and a small hint of tequila as he passed down his throat, "Seems like he did a decent job."

Setting his cup down he looked over at Teayre, a look of concern crossing his face for a second before he closed his eyes and steeled his emotions. He could have to talk to her about what happened later, but now wasn't the time to be showing any sense of weakness. This was a guild meeting, meaning that he couldn't be his normal self. He had to be stalwart in emotion, Absolute Pin's Rook piece. Scanning across the room he made note that all the people here were already acquainted with him, so he decided not to bother with giving an introduction, listening as Ariel asked him about Teayre, "Let's just say a lot has happened since we last met. Right now is not the time though, so I'll talk to her about it once we're finished here."

"That is if she actually agrees to go along with me afterwards..."

With that he reached for his hard hot chocolate once again, looking down at the liquid. It had cooled to a temperature where he could easily drink it without burning himself. He gave a small sigh into the cup before using Azazel's technique she had taught him, downing the drink in one gulp as he set the mug aside as he listened to Teayre's strategizing.

Vaan walked to the teleportation pad and said, "Floor four" . He hated the fourth floor. It was so cold and miserable there. He began to walk to the Drunken Crane inn. He walked in shyly noticing Calrex who had finished his invitation with him. This was to prepare for the Bandit Quest they were all going to do. By the time when they started Vaan would have his new sword done. Vaan decided that he would say hello to Calrex. It was the polite thing to do. Hello Calrex, how is life treating you?

Oikawa glanced over at the sound of the doors opening once more. His eyes widened slightly as the player entered the room. She arrived. She being Kotori. She averted her gaze from everyone, including him. Whatever her reason, he would respect. This wasn't the time or place for personal matters, though he hoped they could talk about it soon. Two more souls entered the room quickly after her. One being a timid fellow he knew from a previous encounter, Hikoru, and the other being unfamiliar altogether. She was a bluenette much like Calrex, Keith and Haine, though her tint was much lighter. She stood next to Ariel much like a bodyguard would stand next to the queen. I wonder if that means Ariel has a protege now? Hmm I'll ask at another time.

Whoosh!

The main doors swung open once more as Teayre made a grand entrance. Sh wasted no time in ordering new arrangement of the tables that made it easier for her and Ariel to address the group as a whole. Oikawa found himself still opposite of Ariel, just at the furthest table now. Glancing up, he attentively listened as the redhead made her case and provided the details for the incoming quest. Things were said addressed that the blonde didn't completely follow but allowed it to past as he was sure it was guild related. He caught Teayre's awkward wink but dismissed it on the account that she was clearly not herself. Next, Ariel spoke up. Introducing herself, she added on to Teayre's speech and seated herself to allow Calrex, the third member of the council, to introduce himself. He seemed to avoid his turn and in turn another newcomer entered. He immediately greeted Calrex and took a seat.

Oikawa sat back and watched this guild. They seemed friendly enough but it was clear they weren't a tight knit group. At least not yet. This was most likely there largest guild meeting to date considering how new of a guild they were. Shifting gears, he pondered over how teams would be arranged. He had ties with all of the council members, but he knew he could only go with one of them. If it came down to him, who would he choose? Ariel for old times sake? Calrex because the two hung out the most of the three? Teayre because he wanted to see how far she has come since flinging her falchion around? The decision would be tough it was left to him. He hoped it didn't.

Lowenthal quickly teleported to the 4th floor, and braced himself for a sudden blast of wind chill and snow. But instead of that he was given a calm breeze, and light snowfall. A nice change from the usual blazzards and harsh winds. The slight wind was colder than usual however, and it bit as his cheeks and nose. Lowenthal made haste to the Inn where his Guild was supposed to meet. It was called the 'Drunken Crane Inn' he remembered. After a little while of walking, he finally found the inn and stepped inside. Inside was a small congregation of people, most likely guild members. There was a few people he recognized, such as Calrex, and Vaan. But others he didn't. He decided it was best to introduce himself. "Yo, Lowenthal reporting for duty." He said, in his normally cheery voice. "Man it's chilly outside. So what we doing?" he said, walking to the group of people.

As Ariel followed her lead Teayre smirked, the blonde not really saying much except if you don’t like the guild get the hell out. Taking a swig from her bottle she looks over at Cal her eyes narrowing as he turned and whispered to Ariel. As Meokka spoke the red head flicked her head and listened to her question as to how the groups are going to be formed.

“Well, I was going to be talk-“

As she began to answer the bluenette’s question the door popped open and someone quietly snuck in midway through the meeting, Her eyes flicked up catching the guild symbol at his name plate Teayre kicked off the table flipping backwards and pushing the chair in at the same time standing up before slowly walking around to the newcomer placing a hand on his shoulder. Her voice quiet and tainted with venom as she leaned in and whispered in his ear. “Nice to meet you, I’m Teayre. Tell me how come you’re late to our little meeting and tell everyone your name as I don’t think I’ve met you before.† As she finished her little private introduction another person entered into the room.

Her eyes flicked up as Teayre smiled at him, “Well I don’t know what to say, two people late to a planning meeting.†Sighing she walked around to the head of the table by Ariel & Calrex standing up to give the impression that she held authority. Being marginally higher than the seats when she stood. As she met Lowenthal’s eyes she gestured towards the empty chair that was tucked underneath the table. “Lowenthal, nice to meet you now get sat down. We were in the middle of planning for a guild quest on several bandit camps on floor nine.â€

Pausing for a moment Teayre eyes up everyone before continuing, “Now as I was saying before Meokka, I was going to talk to the council about the groups however I think I’ll just sort them out now. Unless anyone from the council has any objections these are the groups we’ll use.â€

Pointing at people in turn as she utters their names. “The first team will be: Ariel, Oikawa, Kotori and the late comer who didn’t introduce himself yet. The second Team will be Calrex, Clarence and Skylar. The third team will be myself, Hikoru, Meokka and Lowenthal. Any objections from anyone?†Looking side to side Teayre looks at her fellow council members.

Ariel didn't drink, that was a fact IRL as her profession didn't allow for such 'distractions'. She had imported that behaviour in SAO as well, despite being well aware that in-game, the drink has absolutely no effect. Looking around her, as she sips from her iced tea, she would see different people drink different beverages: Meo with a orange slush, hot chocolate for Cal and Teayre's rosé.

The blonde let those kind of thought drift away until the room entrance door opened and a guy wearing very little clothing walked in and without a proper introduction went and greeted only Cal. That made Ariel frown a bit, she understood that Cal supervised his initiation but at least the newcomer could've introduced himself to the group first. With a sigh she brushed that away as another person walked in and issued a military like greeting, even if it was lacking the affiliated seriousness.

Ariel made a head count and now they were 11, an uneven number for the teams she had planned so they would have to improvise the team distribution. Then she saw Teayre once again acting in a somehow forceful way towards the newcomers. Again, Ariel's eyes kept trailing Teayre as she suddenly began making teams on her own. She let out a sigh as she raised from her seat and looked at the team's display. Despite being hastily made they were almost evenly balanced, except for one..her own who had a bit of more in the 'firepower' area. But she was happy to be able to fight once again alongside Oikawa, it had been too long since she did anything with her old friend.

"Team's look fine by me they appear to be evenly mixed, having at least 2 initiate on each one and 1 council member to lead each team. " she affirmed in a clean crystalline tone that echoed in the room. She then took a quick glance at Meo, who appeared to be mildly concerned for some reason. The blonde showed a smile as she continued: "A pity I won't be fighting alongside my protégé. I'll leave her in your care for this quest, Teayre." She steals a quick glance at Oikawa who has been silent since the beginning. She then turns towards Calrex and asks: "What say you Cal-kun?

"Guess I'm kind regretting downing that drink now...makes me wish I had broken it up a little bit. Oh well..."

Calrex listened quietly as the guild meeting progressed, giving a nod to Vaan and Lowenthal as the two arrived. Inside he was concerned about his fiancee, but he understood that as a council member to some level he couldn't let it show.

"Guess it's no different from the way I usually am right? Putting on a calm demeanor. I guess to some level I avoid being serious because it makes things too tense for my liking. Nonetheless if that's the way I need to respond, I'll do so."

Listening to the teams for the quest Calrex's eyes scanned over to Clarence and Skylar, nodding, "I've only seen Skylar in combat so far, but Clarence doesn't seem like a pushover. The last time I saw him was in Koko Village on the eighth floor, but his gear and such states otherwise from a beginner in combat. I'm sure we'll do just fine."

"No complaints here. The teams sound good from where I'm sitting."

He looked over at his empty mug after making sure no one was observing him, giving a small sigh to himself, "Guild politics, something I'm sure I'll never get used to..."

Vaan looked around when he seen a red haired girl walking his way. He looked at her and her voice was a whisper but it had contained just the right amount of venom.   “Nice to meet you, I’m Teayre. Tell me how come you’re late to our little meeting and tell everyone your name as I don’t think I’ve met you before."  Vaan looked at her and said, U-U-U- Um... I had no idea I was late... Teayre went a greeted Lowenthal before giving a small announcements of teams. The first team included him. It was Ariel, Oikawa, Kotori and himself. Vaan shuddered as he was pointed at. He would have to introduce himself to everyone. He had his guild leader, his blacksmith and someone who he did not know. He listened to rest of the sentence and then he knew he had to introduce himself.

He stood in front of everyone in the middle and began to speak up. Ummm. H-Hello. My name is Vaan. And thanks to Teayre, everyone knows i was a late comer. He shot a small look of venom at Teayre. He returned his attention to everyone else and then left the middle to go slink into the corner.

Skylar did not pay much attention to majority of the meeting. Ariel talked about the guild and the quest the group is going to take on, Calrex barely spoke, and Teayre introduced herself. Skylar thought he was excited when Clarence walked in he was wrong. The famous "Teayre" Calrex always spoke about left an amused smirk on his face. One new guy had the nerve to be late and didn't seem to realize it. Still the meeting passed without an incident.

{I wonder when Clarence joined this guild in the first place. I do not remember mentioning it either. Well I could not blame it on him. I was very distracted too. Could have happened to anyone.}

"Sweeet, I get you and Calrex babe" Skylar grinned ear to ear talking to Clarence. He trusted these two with his life, more then anyone else in the guild really, even more then Ariel. Ariel is a great friend and all but overtime he has grown closer to Calrex. Clarence was in a different field from the two as his lover but he is still great in a fight and very dependable.
