[PP-F2] A Night of Freedom.

Recommended Posts

Zelrius ran a white glove through his ever so golden hair. The breeze rolled in and blew along his azure clothing, the golden lining of which swayed slightly. This particular slight gust of wind sent a barely noticable chill throughout Zelrius. Despite it being ever so elusive, the message of which was clear. As the sun set a little earlier each day and the winds got colder on certain floors as time went on, That meant Winter was soon approaching. It was on the Second Floor that Autumn was most noticeable. The great trees that surrounded the Mountains and hills of the world around turned orange, much as the grass beneath the boy's feet did. Actually, Zelrius was but a boy when this all began. Now, as it drew closer to another birthday of his, The golden haired ex-PKer became aware of how much had changed from the first days. So much had transpired in that time, and much more still needed to happen before he was out. His thoughts drifted to the Upcoming boss fight and then fleeted back to the scenery. He had reminded himself that It was supposed to be his Birthday (Note The Actual Birthday isn't until The 8th of October) tonight, and that something like a Floor clearing shouldn't plague his thoughts in the slightest.  No, Tonight was meant to be a night of security and freedom from the infinite struggle and hardship that everyone and everything faced in SAO.

Drawing his eyes away from the falling sun, Not too many minutes off from Sunset, the boy looked around in the Fields. There were various bits of Furniture set out with food made by various cooks. None of which gave any enhancements, it was simply a formality Zelrius remembered to have at Parties like this from the old world. And beside it all, Chairs all around with Zelrius's own rocking chair placed away so that he could view the rest of the area and the falling sun when the time came. One by one, The boy's pieces of equipment began to disappear. The Skull and Pendant beginning to fizz into blue data and then disappear into his inventory. Today, Zelrius wasn't Slayer of the Hydra, Commandant of the Azure Brigade, or even a Player in SAO. Today, he was simply just Zelrius, as he had always been before being trapped in here. Zelrius was hesitant about putting the golden sheath that hung on his hip up, and eventually decided against it, fearing that if caught without, the boy may find himself in a bout of trouble.

Several days before, The Ex-Blood Buccaneer had sent out a mass announcement of this event. Though he despised the great deal of "normal" and general populace, in his eyes they were still people. And as such, they all deserved a moment of recollection to the time before the atrocities of SAO. He had gotten several replies back from the great amounts of those who wished to attend and here he was now, simply waiting on them. Strolling over, the boy sat in the aforementioned wooden chair and began rocking gently.

Important:

Those of you in Attendance, NO WEAPONS. I swear to the Christ almighty if I see a Weapon here at ALL other than my own, I will remove you. Whether that be violently or peacefully. Your Choice.

Furthermore, No Conflict of any kind. No arguing or causing problems, Or the same consequence as above will occur.

Message me if you wish to attend and haven't already. (Note that everyone on the Guest List might not post)

It had been quite the shock when Red had awoken to the message inviting her to the birthday party for the front liner known as Zelrius. Yes she and him had shared some time together on floor two, though It had been brief but it seemed that she had made a good impression on him. Needless to say that still didn't mean she had any idea of what to do or where, or anything in that manner. In traditional MMO's if someone had a birthday and friends they might all log in together and play while using a program to chat, but here in SAO such things were non existent. In this case there was a real party, with real people, for a real person.

Now though as she stood at the edge of the field looking in at all of the preparations that had been made. Furniture was set up, tables and chairs and such, as well as what looked like a veritable feast. Her own stomach rumbled at the sight of the food, She was hungry today, like most days, and like most days in her hurry to prepare for the days events she had forgotten to eat. But she was not one to simply charge over and eat, even in the real world that was just bad manners. Instead she would greet her host, the birthday boy, and after a bit sneak over to have a bite. Of course she would need to work up her nerve a bit before she could even do that. Aside from being hungry she was incredibly nervous. This was after all her first event like this, and she was almost certain that everyone here would be legendary front liners. She was certainly under classed for such an event.

After a few moments of insecurity she finally worked up enough courage to approach the event. Her heart began to race as she realized, that with all of her concerns, she was now one of the only people here. She was too early. Still her smile did not wane as she got closer to Zelrius. As she neared him, moving gently between the tables and chairs, she pulled up her menu and unequipped the crimson guild cloak that she had taken to wearing. As it vanished in a blue light it revealed the simple red dress that she had purchased earlier in the day. Her hair was also tied back in a white ribbon, to keep it from getting in her face.

[color-red]"Zelrius. Thank you for inviting me. Everything looks so wonderful." She said happily as she approached him, giving the man a quick hug. "I was shocked when I got your invite and... Well Happy Birthday."

Honestly, Kalesh was surprised to even get the invitation. He had heard the name here and there, primarily because his guild had been instrumental in clearing floors, but he had never even personally met anyone he knew to be in the guild let alone Zelrius himself. He looked over the details of the invitation and shrugged his shoulders while eyeing the date, realizing he had nothing to do that day he figured he would go. "Why not?" He thought to himself as he set about getting the various items that would be required. He would need a suit, of course, his noobie clothes would not work, nor would his armors. He figured it would be an investment for the future so he set out to get a suit made for him. He didn't feel as if he warranted any unique colors so he simply got a black suit and white dress shirt, but got a red tie to match his hair. He considered getting gloves but doubted they'd work with him. Fashion was a gaping hole in his knowledge base so he had a tough time telling if he looked good to others or not. Now that he had something to wear, he considered what to do with his hair. That would be an ordeal in and of itself, but he eventually just shrugged and got black leather string and tied his long hair back and out of the way, pushing his bangs out of the way of his face and smoothing it down so it was less spiky. It was lucky that this was a game, or his hair would be far harder to set into specific positions.  Thinking he might have looked a bit more formal than he would have before he made sure he had no weapons or the sort equipped. He didn't want to piss anyone off, naturally. He did momentarily consider getting gloves that boost unarmed damage for self defense but lacked the time for such a luxury.

He was about as ready as he was going to get he figured and so he headed to the location listed in the invitation. If someone tried to jump him on the way he would probably just run for it or draw his sword. Thankfully nobody attacked him at least. He figured he'd end up on top of this mountain one day, but not exactly expecting to do it stag. It was his own fault, he could admit it, not exactly jumping at every stranger he saw and asking if they wanted to be friends. As he headed up the mountain it momentarily did dawn on him that it was a safe area though. "Bah, no point in questioning it though.." He mumbled to himself, not about to break the no-weapon rule just because he couldn't actually harm someone. He did momentarily wonder if someone would remain safe once hurled off the edge though, the mental imagery rather hilarious to him. While he was lost in thought he soon heard the creaking of wood and looked over to see a golden-haired guy rocking in a rocking chair. He was momentarily surprised that such things existed in this world, before his attention was brought to the player themselves. He figured this was the birthday boy himself, as seemingly not that many others had arrived yet. He shrugs his shoulders subtly and begins towards the other player and says "Hey, nice to meet you. I'm Kalesh.. happy birthday!" He didn't exactly have a read on the other player's personality so he tried not to seem overly enthused in case it annoyed him. Some people preferred calm birthdays after all.

Takao looked at the reflection of himself in the window of his shop, then glanced down at the familiar that stood in the doorway with its arms crossed. "I'll only be gone for a little bit," he said as the idly pulled at the ends of his vest. "-plus you've already eaten. Don't be so bummed out just 'cause you can't go devour all the food there." The familiar made a noise similar to a grumble before turning and scurrying back into the shop, making sure to kick the door closed before it ran further inside. The brunet chuckled and gave himself one last glance over before he turned and headed down the main street of Delilah, heading for the warp gate. He found himself dressed in a black suit vest over a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, and both were rather well tailored to him, as most equipment in the game was. ilu zelrius

He hadn't bothered with any equipment for self defense as he moved through the second floor toward the venue, as nothing on the floor worried him enough to warrant having his weapon on hand. After all, it had been specifically requested for everybody that was attending to be unarmed. As he passed through and into the safe-zone, his green eyes wandered across the decoration. Tables and chairs were set up, as well as some food, while the warm orange glow of sunset had only just begun to wash over the gathering. The last birthday he'd attended was in stark contrast to this, possibly even the complete opposite, but he didn't seem to mind either way. A party was a party after all, and for somebody as sociable as Takao, that was all he needed to justify attending.

After noticing a few others gathered at one side, he decided to approach. A wide smile grew on his face as he noticed who all was gathered, and his hand rose to wave in greeting. "Hey Zelrius!" he said, not particularly in an obnoxiously loud tone. "Happy birthday!" His smile eased a bit as he turned his attention to Red, and his hand dropped down to his side. "Hey, Red." he said in a considerably more dulcet tone.

Miriko was surprised by the invitation to Zelrius's 18th Birthday Party. She was surprised to get even get a birthday invite. Not many people knew Miriko in the world of the SAO. She was the complete opposite of a social butterfly. Zelrius? Miriko had heard a bit about Zelrius here and there. Vasth had mentioned the name before somewhere. Miriko was hesitant at first, she didnt know Zelrius. Thoughts bounced around her head like usual. Her slender finger hovered over the menu. You never know, It could be fun. Miriko's finger touched 'going'. Her wide brown eyes scanned over the invite. A formal party? I havn't been to one in a while. I hope my dancing skills are up to date. Miriko got up from the park bench she was sitting on on floor one. Shopping was a must, Lets just say that her wardrobe was not up to date. I need a new dress. And probably some suitable shoes. The first shop Miriko stumbled on was ironically a dress shop. After looking at a couple of dresses, she picked out a black dress which was flowy but accented her curves. Miriko also picked out matching shoes. Walking to the nearest inn, She got changed and then headed to the warp gate.

I dont think I have ever been to this part of floor 2. Miriko smoothed down her black dress. her brunette hair was in its usual fashion, hanging down and curly on the edges. She walked into the area where the party was seemed to be held. There were a few people standing around this boy in a wooden rocking chair who she guessed was Zelrius. Nervous was an understatement as she Miriko approached the group. "Ummm Happy Birthday Zelrius" Miriko spoke, her voice slightly shaking.

Today was a good day. That was one of the few things that had come to Lee's mind about this particular day. It was a day that seemed to mean something to someone, a birthday no less and he had the pleasure of being invited to said event. Zelrius was well known throughout SwordArt Online in both lights, positive and negative. Lee himself had no particular opinion of the man but knew that if he was one to invite him to a party, he was already moving himself into the brighter light. As Lee arrived, it would seem that the wasn't the first to arrive but he was one of the few to arrive at this point in time. His sword and shield were no where in sight and it was simply his plate armor on this particular day.

The entire event seemed well done and it was actually quite the sight of an actual party with seemingly enough chairs for anyone who came and food to match. Lee let his hands rest at his sides as he would stroll up to the actual event area and once within a respectable range, he would raise one hand to wave his greetings to the small group to which he would then finally speak "Yo everybody~ Where be the birthday superstar?"

For his first time being on floor two, it wasn't as bad as a place as he thought it was. He was here for a party- a birthday party for the Leader of the Azure Brigade, a high-level clearing guild. But Alex was told to look nice- Basically, the exact opposite of what he was wearing. Alex was wearing some worn down leather clothes, which he was scared that someday the durability might fall low on those items, but he didn't know if clothing had durability.

So that morning, Alex ran to an NPC store, looking for fancy dress clothes. Quickly, he found what he needed. A green and purple dress shirt, some cacki jeans, and some brown shoes, that would amount to a total of 150 col. Man why do I care about what I'm wearing????

Alex

(+green and purple dress shirt, cacki jeans, and brown shoes)

(-150 Col)

After having bought the clothing, Alex headed to where the party was located, the High Fields of Crossing.

Once he was there, Alex opened the door, and walked into the party. Immediately noticing the food, Alex knew he had made the right decision buying those clothes. And then he eyed corner, where he would hang out in, since most people would know Zelrius personally. Alex didn't, but he was glad to be at his party. This was his chance to become one of the cool guys. He couldn't screw it up. So Alex sat in the corner, and would wait until someone tried to talk to him or something. Remember, Alex thought to himself, These players are all stronger than you. don't do anything stupid.

Lowenthal was already dressed in his formal clothing. He tugged at the collar at his discomfort. Why did Zel have to have a formal party. Why not Semi-formal shin-dig, so that people could be comfortable. Lowenthal sighed as he paced back and forth. It seemed that even in a virtual world, it took women forever to get ready. He adjusted his white gloves, tightening them against his fingers. He had met up with his date, Persephone, earlier that evening for the party. He had given her the dress he had made for her, and was actually surprised that she agreed to attend the dance as his date, at such a short notice. When Persephone emerged from her dressing room, Lowenthal was genuinely surprised and taken back. "Wow. You look, amazing." Lowenthal said, offering Persephone his arm. "Shall we get going then?" Lowenthal asked, smiling at the beautiful woman on his arm. With Persephone in tow, Lowenthal escorted her to the party room.

As the two entered, Lowenthal was pleasantly surprised at the turn ou. It was a small place, yes. But he recognized many of the faces around the room. Namely Zel, Takao, and Lee. He glanced around, trying to find signs of Piera, or Jomei. But to no avail. "I suppose, we just take a seat then. Wait for the birthday boy to announce the start of the event." Lowenthal said, still holding Persephone's hand in his arm.

Piera had changed before leaving teleporting to the second floor, though she kept her weapon out in case she ran across any mobs on the way there. Zelrius' message had been only slightly unexpected. She had assumed it would be more details on the order he was placing with the majority of Aincrad's alchemists, but it was an invitation to a party he was holding in celebration of his birthday. A welcome surprise. She wasn't entirely sure how she felt about the invitation but supposed that they had had reasonable interactions from his order and knew each other through extension of Lowenthal and the Velvet Room. But it seemed that he invited quite a few people.

Wandering into the Field as the sun sank into the horizon, the brunette opened her menu and unequipped her Bleeding Lance before glancing down at her formal attire, a little black dress. Her back felt a little exposed due to the halter top, but she thought she looked presentable enough. Tentatively approaching the loose mingling of players, the alchemist caught sight of a very familiar armored form. Approaching her boyfriend, Piera sighed. "Did you at least polish your armor?" She asked somewhat teasingly, pointing out the fact that he was wearing armor rather than more appropriate wear for such an event as she reached up onto the tips of her heeled toes to press her lips to his scruffy cheek in a kiss.

Glancing around she said, "We should say hi." The bespectacled young woman linked an arm in his and glanced around before finally realizing that she had never actually seen Zelrius and thus had no idea what he looked like. But then she caught people saying his name and turned to see a blonde teen in full formal attire being congratulated by multiple people that she didn't recognize, though one did look familiar. "Kalesh!" Piera called out with a smile, waving her free arm. She waited her turn in the line of people speaking to him before stepping forward and offering him a professional hand shake. "Good to meet you in person finally Zelrius. We've spoken over messages, I'm Piera. This is my boyfriend, Lee." The brunette nodded to the man on her arm before smiling as she stated simply, "Happy Birthday by the way. I'm sure your party will be amazing. Thank you for the invitation."

Fine 100 col! you damn crook! I yelled in a shop owners face as i threw the money at him and took the formal articles of clothing. (Grey button up shirt + red skinny tie ) [-100 col] I then ran out of the shop equipping the clothing through my menu while sprinting with my familiar leading me to Zel's 18th birthday. Maruchan looked back at me and barked excitedly, maybe because buying him that necktie that actually matches mine right now actually is good for something on this day. I then took another look at the invitation as my clothes began disappearing and reappearing. It said something about no weapons allowed which of course forced me to look down at my hands. I then simply decided Zel would understand since I'm a fist fighter and all. As me and maruchan entered the woods hoisted him onto my shoulder and kept sprinting to the party praying not to be too late.

When I reached the clearing i saw Zel in a rocking chair being greeted by a few other guests. Maruchan barked excitedly like he always does when he spots someone he recognizes. Paging doctor boy! doctor birthday boy! I joked as i made my way over to zel. Happy birthday. oh! and i got you a present! i know its not perfect but it should still help you should you choose to ever use it. I explained as i handed Zel the recording crystal i made earlier today.

Was it already that time of the year again? Has it been a year already? Well, the girl had known Zel for about slightly less than a year, which was not surprising given that she has not heard him talk about his birthday. She wondered about what was his motive behind all that, but it was not her to cause any trouble, especially now. She can do that later, as she went through her wardrobe before picking out a red dress for the occasion. She had not worn that dress before, and she had a few others that she could wear at any time. Normally, she avoided wearing them as she needed her items with her, but tonight it was fine. After all, she knew that she was not the only strong player there, and it would be stupid if anyone tried to attack. Although there was a rule about no weapons allowed, weapons are available when anyone opens their menu which is not a problem for her. Rebekah then picked out a set of heels, not too high, but enough to make a slight notable difference. She felt uncomfortable walking in these, as they were higher than her boots, but she will be fine.

The last thing she needed to do was to make sure her hair was done properly, nothing too fancy or simple, just putting it up a bit so that it does not fall down that far as usual. When she got there, she realized that she took a long time getting ready, but the majority of the people still have not shown up yet. She made her way over towards the birthday boy, and with a quick hug told him, "Happy Birthday." She added jokingly, "Can't believe you are that old already," before making her way towards the rest of the crowd and grabbing a drink. She wondered, this is a nice break away from the front lines once in a while.

The boy's head slowly dropped down as it now rested in his chest. His eyes closed peacefully and he continued rocking. Even if no one showed up, as of right now this was perfectly fine with him. Of course, that wasn't the plan and he'd much rather have the event be something people came to. And sure enough, one by one people appeared from various areas of the fields. First was Red_Rose, much to his surprise to be honest. He stood to begin greeting guests. "I think you will find most people I have invited will be pleasantly surprised they were invited. Nonetheless, Thank you."

Another person approach, one he did not recognize but the man made it clear who it was in his introduction. The boy's smiles grew as more people he didn't even know arived to have fun at this event. "Greetings and Salutations Kalesh. Thank you for the wishing myself a happy birthday," Not many words were to be said to each indiviual person, simply because by the time Zelrius got his words out, another one had come through the grass and spoken to him.

"And Salutations be to you, Takao. I do appreciate you wishing me a happy birthday. I am glad you could make it on this fine day."

Another woman came up and also made a similar comment to the rest in attendance. He nodded politely and his arrogant smile didn't waiver the slightest, as it never did. He spoke to Miriko, confused a slight bit. "Forgive me, Do you mind introducing yourself, Madame?"

Somewhere distant Zelrius heard the faintest hint of the words Birthday Superstar and he let out a forced puff of air. It was funny how had he said that about himself any other day, everyone would be all That arrogant arse. Infact, they probably still think this is all an ego boost. Which, for all Zelrius knew himself, it might be just that, despite trying to avoid that.

Someone he had not recognized approached him shortly after, a large male in tow and began to introduce to herself. "Ay, Piera. Salutations and Greetings be to you and Lee. Thank you for coming,"

His attention was caught by an old friend, To which he actually took a step toward to greet. "Good day X. Thank you for coming today. And the Gift is ultimately unnecessary, but I do sincerely appreciate it."

Now it was a Fellow Commandant that appeared. He smirked as she approached and spoke. "Thank you, I cannot believe I am this old now too. I am glad you could make it, Rebekah."

With a quick assessment of the gathering crowd, Zelrius looked around and then back into what appeared to be "center" of it and spoke loudly. "Well, Let the festivities begin. If you haven't already, Look about your surroundings, there is plenty to do. Eat, Drink, Socialize, Dance, Whatever it is you please. Have fun, It is all I request." He ended, activating a Recording Crystal with a mid paced song that kind of just blurred on in the background. Now he sat back down, rocking again.

Even now, he couldn't help but steal another laugh at his own stroke of brilliance as he made his way towards the High Fields of Crossing. Wildfire: at first listen, it was a rather fierce name for something as innocent as a simple suit jacket. In reality, the garment's name was a stealth pun of sorts. A forest-green blazer, hence the name, Wildfire; the tailor Ariel had not laughed as he'd placed his order, so he figured she must have glossed over this detail. Either that, or the joke was not nearly as funny as he thought it was, though he preferred to leave that slippery slope for another day.

No, today was not a day to worry about other people's potentially flawed senses of humor. Today was a day to celebrate, and stretch his wings, in a manner of speaking. Although he had only had a single brief encounter with the guest of honor, the blond-haired boy had definitely made a memorable impression. "What a twist of fate, that I would be attending Zelrius' birthday party just a few months later," he reflected upon recalling the circumstances of their previous encounter. At the time, the Blood Buccaneer had swaggered into a meeting on the ninth floor and slapped onto the table a rather frustrating decree: that the Azure Brigade would not be participating in the 10th floor boss battle.

A quick notification bubble alerted him that he had stepped into a safe zone, drawing him back to the present. He smiled as he looked up to see several familiar acquaintances roaming around amidst the sounds of relaxing music. There was that rascal X, whom had apparently chosen a grey button-up and snappy crimson tie as the attire of his choice. Over in the crowd, he caught a glimpse of Rebekah, clutching a drink of some sort. He even recognized two familiar faces- Lowenthal and Piera of The Velvet Room. "That Zelrius kid sure does get around."

Speaking of which, there was the Blood Buccaneer himself, situated appropriately at the center of the occasion. Surprisingly, the tell-tale orange crystal which had once topped the powerful player had given way to a gentler green. "I suppose this is the first time we've properly met, although I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other in the coming raids. But in the meantime, the name's Azide," he said, offering his host a hand. "I'm sorry you didn't have the chance to host this party in the other world," he continued, hesitating for a moment. "But let's make it the most of it, birthday boy."

He smiled, then turned to join in on the night's festivities.

Jomei scratched at his chin, looking over the invitation Zelrius had sent out. It was for a formal party being thrown by the ex-orange cursored player for his birthday. It took Jomei by surprise, honestly. In the past, he was not the biggest fan of the man.. Being the first PKer he had met, Jomei did not know what to think of him.. marking the man as a heartless murderer. However, over time of brief meeting with him, Jomei began to grow some respect to Azure's leader, especially after he went through all the trouble to come up with a clean slate and bringing his cursor back to green. He nodded his head and closed the message, switching over to his inventory. He had recently purchased some formal attire from Ariel for the event, since Zel wanted the patrons to be dressed nicely for his birthday. He then unequipped his leather armor and rapier, replacing them with The Leprechaun's Vest.. which was simply a white button down shirt with a black tie, a forest green suit vest worn over it. He looked at himself in the small mirror next to his bed and adjusted the tie with a smile. Dressing like this reminded him of the real world.. No armor.. No weapon. After finding a comfortable placement for the necktie, he rolled up the sleeved on the fitted white shirt to sit just above his elbows. He hopped off of the balcony where his room in the shop was and locked up the place behind him.

Since Bardic Inspiration was already on Floor Two, there was no need to make his way to the center of town to make use of the warp pad. He simply found the closest exit to the town and made his way into the fields. It did not take him very long to find the party-like setting off in the distance from the town. After a short walk and coming upon the location, he looked around to see that an amount of players had already arrived before him, many that he recognized. However, he felt he should greet the man responsible for this party and thank him for his kind gesture. Despite everyone wearing similar formal attire, it was not hard to pick out Zelrius in his famous tuxedo, being greeted by another couple of players. He walked up to the man with a smirk on his face, "Zelrius." he greeted him with a nod, reaching his arm out for a handshake. "Happy birthday lad, this is quite the party you've thrown here. I highly appreciate the invite. It'll be a good chance to actually get to know you."

After his conversation with the birthday boy, he noticed the familiar faces of his best friends off in the distance, the first one being the sandy hair of Lowenthal. He walked up to him, smacking him on the back. "Hey there Lowe. Hell of a party isn't it?" he chuckled. "Seen anyone else around here? Maybe Piera?" It was then he noticed Piera off in the distance, hanging on to Lee's arm. "Hah, Lee's here too? Haven't seen him in awhile." he turned back to Lowenthal, and it was then he realized the new face standing next to him. "O-Oh I'm sorry lass.. I did not see you there." he reached out his hand, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm Jomei. Lowe's friend I presume?" It then hit him that Piera had Lee.. and it seemed as if Lowenthal had brought a date as well. Looking around, he let out a huff of breath from his nostrils. He probably would have asked Carmine if she was even around anymore.

Kalesh watched curiously as person after person came forward to congratulate Zelrius too, happy that he got some acknowledgement, nodding to him and saying "You enjoy yourself, alright?" He grinned and gave him a thumbs up as he headed straight for the food tables. He had a mission and it was going to be fulfilled. The first thing he ate was any meats that were around, happily grabbing himself some cuts of ham and even some fruits that were around from the fruit plates. He wasn't really one to keep an empty plate at these types of things. When he heard a familiar voice call out to him he grinned and turned around, walking right over to say "Ah, hello Piera! You get invited too?" He smiled as he pops a strawberry into his mouth noticing the armored man next to her he said "Hey! You must be Lee, right?" He smiled as he held out his hand to him in greeting "I'm Kalesh, it's nice to meet you." He tried to seem friendly, keeping his food plate balanced on his other hand despite it being filled to capacity with meat and fruit.

From the general crowd he so far only recognized some faces, Piera was the only one he knew but she had a date so he wasn't going to get clingy, probably going to slink off and talk with new people once introductions and greetings were done. If he didn't know anyone at the party, the easiest way to fix that was obviously to start meeting people!

After a long time in solitude and rejecting the messages of those wondering where he was. He saw a notice for his Commandant Zelrius hosting himself a party to celebrate the day of his birth. Ssendom sat up within a cave of which wasn't named in an area that people rarely ever traversed, let alone reaching up to it in the mountain side. Ssendom stretched walking out of the cave over looking the second floor. He placed his hand over his eyes to shield them from the bright light, he hadn't adjusted from the darkness that was inside the cave. His clothes tattered, his armor partially equipped it was almost as if he had been battling nonstop for quite some time.

Ssendom decided he would accept the invitation after he picked up something for himself that he knew he needed. He began his stroll of hours back into the main town of the second floor stopping by a shop that sells liquids. He ordered a couple bottles of sake and a few cups just in case paying 400 col for it. After grabbing the bag that held his items he dropped his menu HUD and inserted the items into it then waltz to a location that was secluded from others to swap from his ragged attire into his elegant Dark Green Kimono.

He began walking toward the event, withdrawing the items he had placed into his inventory. It took him a short while as thoughts flew through his head, the look that resided in his eyes seemed cold and dead almost. After a short while he arrived at the location and noticed a few people were spending their time exchanging pleasantries, he walked forward with a powerful and authoritative demeanor though the expression upon his face and the look in his eyes hadn't changed. He walked up directly to Zelrius and extended his hand. He nods his head and spoke no words, this being the first time he had been in contact with another player or person in over a month and a half.

Zelrius was just as she remembered him from the other day. Confident, cool, and in control. She could also see how popular a player he really was as more and more people flocked to him to give their best regards. It brought a smile to her lips to see he had actually carved out a life for himself here in this digital world. That was something to consider as well, could she actually live here? clearly it was possible, so maybe there was a chance. AS more and more people arrived she slowly backed up giving them all a chance to gather, she was still a little nervous, and each one of these people actually looked like they belonged here. All of them had the same confidence that comes from experience, something she desperately lacked.

It was as she was backing up that a voice caught her attention. Not just the voice, but someone saying her name. She turned quickly looking up in time to see that she had almost backed into Takao. She blushed sharply, almost matching the red of her dress. She hadn't been expecting to run into him here, but it did make sense, he was a front liner. That also meant she knew at least one other person here other than the the host of the party. "Hi there." she said shyly looking up into his green eyes. She had meant to comment on how he looked but was quickly distracted By Zelrius's little introduction. It was short and sweet and much to the point, have fun, and enjoy. It made sense as this was a birthday party. He ended with the use of a crystal that began playing some music. Nothing to crazy, but something nice and fun in the background. It truly was a nice detail that was appreciated.

"So how have you been?" She asked Takao nervously. "Oh, Where is your little friend?" She asked just noticing that his familiar was nowhere to be seen.

Lee would let his attentions turn themselves to the female player that he would deem his girlfriend as she spoke of his armor to which he would look down at it "Hey, my armor is always stylish, though...." He would look around at the growing party as he was the odd one out and wasn't completely okay with this as it was a party so it was rather rude. He would let this move on as she would kiss his cheek, causing him to lean into said kiss and smile just a bit more. Lee would let himself be taken into the vicinity of the birthday man and let Piera speak for them, Lee raising his hand in a greeting as Zelrius' would thank them for coming "Oh no, this is sure to be a much needed event for everyone, let's people relax."

Zelrius would then leave them in order to address the larger public and speak of how he wished for everyone to enjoy what the party had to offer and it was officially underway. Lee would then turn his head in the direction of a man named Kalesh that Peira had called to prior and would greet Lee with a single hand while the other was preoccupied in holding a plate of food. Lee would take the hand happily and shake it "Well met Kalesh, nice ta meet cha." He would then take a glance down at his hand and was still a bit unnerved that he was still in his armor when it wasn't needed. He would withdraw his hand and use his free hand to open his menu and flick through the menu and open his clothing inventory.

His armor would seemingly shatter as it was placed into his inventory in favor of a more formal attire. "There. Not the sore thumb anymore."

Lawfer had received word of a formal party from one the front liners, as he had never met Zelrius prior to this he was hesitant, however, the blond musician was never one to miss a party. Especially one from a prestigious front liner. He paced back and forth throughout the studio he was renting. The main problem he was facing was whether or not to bring a date, he could always try to meet someone there, but one woman kept racing throughout his mind. Opal, she had already been away on her training mission and he didn’t want to interrupt that. She did after all leave everything behind in an attempt to find herself and grow into an even more powerful woman. Not that she really needed to, in his opinion she was already strong willed enough. But that was neither here nor there. Against his logical judgement, he decided to act with his emotions. Reaching up with his right hand, he opened his interface. “Might as well give it a shot.” He commented as he began accessing his personal messenger he began typing: ‘Well Hello there Beautiful. I hope your training is going off without a hitch. We were invited to a formal birthday party by a front liner and I wanted to know if you wanted to sneak out for the night and join me. I figure by now you are itching for a small break, so I’ll be there waiting for you.’

Having hit send, he looked around his shop with a smile. Whether she decided to come or not, he would go celebrate. Celebrations weren’t a common thing in this world after all, he wasn’t going to miss it. Switching over from his messenger to his inventory, he scrolled through his attire. He had just commissioned and received the suit he was going to wear. As he selected The Lawfer Special, his armor and cloak dissolved and was replaced by a fitted navy blue tuxedo, with a shawl lapel, a white shirt and a black bow tie. It was the first time that it had been worn and it felt perfect. Every aspect of the suit seamlessly reflected confidence. “I’ll have to thank Shirosu again for this. It fits perfectly.” He commented as he moved around in the suit. Closing his inventory, he walked around his studio once more to get a better feel of the suit. Running his fingers through his hair, he tried to part it accordingly to match with the standard his suit had set.

As he began to walk out the door, he had realized that his Lawbreaker was still strapped to his back. “Well he did say no weapons.” Lawfer commented to himself as he opened his interface once more. Removing his final piece of equipment, he made his way to the teleport gate at the center of Snowfrost. Floor 2, Urbus." He stated as he was absorbed in light and sent to the second floor. As he established his footing he began to walk towards the High Fields of Crossing. As he came upon the party, Lawfer saw a multitude of people. The guy is really well connected, he thought to himself as he began to look for the man of honor. He hadn't known what the man looked like but Lawfer figured that he would be the one surrounded by the most people. One young man stood out from the rest, he had blonde hair much like Lawfer's. Walking up to the young man he smiled, "Happy Birthday Zelrius! I'm Lawfer. It's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for inviting me to your party. I appreciate it." The spearless, spearbearer reached his hand out to shake the young man's hand out of respect.
