  1. Tristan screamed as he saw Claim hit and attacked the chest of the giant, slamming it into their chest. He wasn't going to let that giant get away with it.

    [iD 271 BD 8. 4 damage]

The spear hit them squarely on the chest, knocking them back. Tristan landed to see Claims counter attack.

  2. Tristan chuckled at her statement. "Well I guess by now you know for a fact that I'm not near you for the reputation by any means."

He leaned on his arm, his head resting on his hand and regarded Kiru.

"So if I cared for you, then what? Would you have me? Or would you push me away?" His expression was honest and gentle. He wondered if she really was just truly alone and she didn't realise it, using herself as a substitute.

  3. Tristan swore loudly as the ice dug into him, his arm numbing more in pain. He roared as he charged forward with the spear to attack the giant beast.

    [iD 254 BD 3. Miss]

The giant deflected the attack with ease though and pushed him aside as though he were nothing.

  4. The frost giant roared as his ribs were pierced, clearly now completely livid. They screamed ice at them, so powerful in fact more icicles came out of his breath as the air froze in midair as it came towards them.

Tristan bore the brunt of it to protect Claim, his fellow comrade in this battle.

    [iD 251 BD 9. Damage 4]

The icicles rammed into his spear and his still numb arm. The ice giant roared in success of their attack.

  5. Tristan rolled his eyes and sipped on his wine. He wondered if they were of even legal age to drink here, wondering if the game even had an age verification system for alcoholic drinks.

"I do wonder about you though. It's difficult to tell how much about you is what I see and how much is hidden. All I see is a beautiful girl who shouldn't be alone."

He really cursed his honesty at times. It was certainly one of his flaws at times, depending how the person received it.

  6. Tristan nodded. "Evasion helps you get hit less. And I suppose any player is a fan of not getting hit."

Tristan chuckled and stretched a bit. He looked around to see if there were any other enemies, of which there were none.

"Okay, let's get going then. We should be fine now."

Tristan started walking to his shop/studio which was now in visible range.

  7. Tristan sipped on some wine he had bought earlier that was still on the table and had never got around to drinking.

"Well I just wanted to get to know better the person who is sitting with me. After all, I feel if I don't say anything that then you'd just grow bored and ignore me, then probably walk away. Instead though, you're still here, sitting with lil old me."

  8. Tristan let the rather poorly crafted and obvious sarcasm roll past and over him. He got enough of that when he was in an all boys school, where it was to the brim of it. Lukcily the adult working world was not tolerant of sarcasm.

"Well I hoping to see if I could help with whatever was making you so, hence why I asked what you wanted."

He gave a look of knowing what she did with sliding away from the question.

  9. Tristan turned his head to look at the girl as he spoke, still relaxing.

"So what do you do or want to do anyway? I assume if you keep up that absrasive front, that you're a solo player. Though that might be because you don't have someone you trust yet."

Tristan shrugged to himself in gesture. He wondered his this woman actually thought, her deep desires, rather than how she talks to him.

  10. Tristan gave a lopsided smile and put his instrument back to a sphere and unequipped it. He wasn't too bothered about it anyway.

    "Ah well, that's a shame."

He relaxed into the chair, lying down onto it and letting his head rest against the wall. He found himself in not too long humming the tune to Scarborough Fair.

  11. This is the point where I think its total madness someone hasn't scripted something where you can insert any picture (be it monster or you) and have a HP bar where you just type in the numbers and it'll do the correct bar size. I mean, people have even created whole android SAO themes, but not even this!

    Great edits btw :D

  12. Tristan smiled. He was rather enjoying this verbal exchange, he hadn't had one like this in the game for a while.

"I find silence quite unnerving after a time. When I joined the game, I found that with no music that I was getting irritable and apathetic. If I keep myself busy with music though, I can divert that stress."

Tristan moved aside some of his red hair that was in his face.

"Also I'm not sure you caught the last part. I was wondering if there were any other songs you want to listen to or sing a long to, unless you want to play the same one that is."

  13. Tristan could feel his arm again, pleased now. It still hurt, but hopefully this time his aim would be not as shoddy.

His spear glowed as he charged at the Frost Giant with a thrusting sword skill, getting a direct hit on them.

    [iD 208 BD 9. 5 damage]

The spear hit with a sound impact against the giant and it finally depleted to its second health bar. Tristan was elated, as this meant they had a good chance at beating this beast.

  14. Tristan chuckled awkwardly. "I don't feel I deserve the praise, since you were still hurt. Besides, unlike you, I'm too high levelled to get anything from killing them. On the other hand, you'll actually get loot from this."

Tristan scratched his leg, which was now healing again now they were out of combat.

"Well after you have your loot, let's be off."

  15. Sorry, but I have a question too. Can we send our equipment to shop for quality upgrade? For example, upgrading uncommon item into rare or perfect one.

    ....yes and no.

Theoretically speaking, when you craft an item, you make a new one. Doesn't stop you RPing it as a upgrade, but strictly speaking its spanking new. You could always RP it as the next in that line of weapons though.

On the other hand, there is a special item which does upgrade the rarity of an item and gives it a new enhancement slot, though I forget how to get that. Think it was a quest off the top of my head.

  16. Tristan could head the cracking of her voice with her first word. He wondered if he was getting through whatever it was she put up against people.

Tristan spoke with slight jest in his tone "Ahhhh well you see...if you know that then you should have joined in. Maybe you have a different song you want to sing along to?" His tone was gentle, as though completely unfazed by her hostility.

  17. Tristan attempted to stab the monster, but the pain in his arm made it difficult to attack, a numbing feeling coming from it. He nonetheless charged forward with a stab, but the numbness foiled his aim and he hit only air. Tristan cursed under his breath, but stepped back and avoided doing anything reckless in this fight, especially in conditions like these. He only wished he had Lessa make him better gear sooner, so this fight would of been easier.

  18. Frost Giant:

The Frost Giant brought itself back upright, since the other human missed as he stumbled. The monster roared almost mockingly and stomped with one foot towards them, sending icicles forward into their line of sight. In this case, Tristan was in the line of fire. He put up his spear to attempt to block, albeit a spear is no blocking weapon, so it was useless. Several icicles dug into his arm, which he grabbed hold of and lodged out of his arm and quickly bandaged up.

Tristan grunted in pain, but continued on.

  19. Tristan had the monster charge straight at him and land into his same leg, as though they really hated his left leg. He wasn't quite sure why, but he didn't ponder on it. Now was not the time to.

Instead he counter-attacked by having his spear thrust forward into the boar, straight at the legs to stop its movement.

[Rolled a 10 on the d10 (battle) dice. 6 Damage]

The boar however was instantly killed, which Tristan was not expecting. He let out a large breath of relief, the battle over. He didn't expect to get hurt, but that didn't matter.

He turned around to Mari with a genuinely concerned face. "Are you okay?! You were hit earlier."

While Mari would receive loot, he was too high levelled to be eligible for it, however he went into the battle knowing this.

  20. Tristan took the blow, but failed to notice the other boar, which charged around to Mari. Cursing to himself for his lack of vision on it, hae went for the boar that was struck.

It was a simple stab which he timed to their run, so as to intercept them.

[Rolled a 5 on the d10 (battle) dice. 4 damage]

It was a success too, the spear blade ramming straight into the surprised look of a boar. However the visage disappeared as soon as it noticed the spear, the face exploding into smithereens of pixels.

Tristan readied himself to be engaged by the boar.

  21. Tristan had after the dodge, readied his sword skill with his spear. Then, with his full might he shot the spear forward and a bullet of energy from the spear came out from the spear, as though a bundle of energy.

    [iD 174 BD 9. 4 + 1 Damage]

The energy smacked the beast straight in the chest and they stumbled backward from the blow, not expectant of it.

It gave the perfect time for Claim to attack.

  22. The Frost Giant roared and turned to the two puny humans that dared to challenge him. They managed to get some attacks off on the beast, which angered them greatly. After a roar of icy breath, the giant swung one of his huge arms at the group.

    [iD 173 BD 3. Miss]

...and punched thin air. It looked as though they managed to dodge the beast before the arm slammed into them, saving them from a slap of a lifetime.
