The Magic of Music is a store located around the outskirts of the town, where several shops are located. It is a simple brick building with wooden outer walls, however the inside is lavishly decorated with instruments and equipment.
This store offers musical services at public events, personal performances and recording messages.

    Crafting Abilities

Performers may craft specific items. These items include:

Healing Songs (available at rank 2) HP Recovery Song, Mass HP Recovery Song, etc. Healing songs can be used to heal the player, however it takes a turn to "listen to".

Debuff Songs (available at rank 3) Incarceration, Misperception etc. These songs cannot be stacked, and they last for as long as the affected monster lives. Takes a turn to listen to.

  2. Tristan chuckled at Argumail. "I would love a bagel. Any flavour will do. And sure, I would happily help. Kindness is a virtue after all."

He took back his hand after their firm handshake, looking friendly at Ryuu. The mood in the room was rather pleasant, unaware of the sour one that had inhabited previously.

"I offer my congratulations. It really is good to see such strong bonds forged in a world where despair consumed most when the bombshell of death was dropped upon us. Lessa and I happened to one time bump into each other on the street, and well, one thing happened after another. I suppose that's what happens when you smash two people together who love to help others."

  3. Tristan walked the streets, when the laugh of a voice he recognised rang through an open door.

Tristan peeked his head out, looking to where four people were, two he recognised. He walked then in.

"Well if it isn't my favourite minstrel and my guild leader, mutually exclusive that is. I hear whisperings about a marriage as well, which sounds rather jolly."

Tristan smiled gently, not afraid by any means of the two strangers. He put a hand out to greet them with a handshake and bowed his head slightly in good manners. His British accent came through.

"Excuse my intrusion, I'm Tristan. And I'm certain a friend of a friend is my friend too."

  4. Tristan snapped out of whatever thought he had about the mysteries of love and everything surrounding it. He knew he was warming up to Lessa, but whether it would lead to that, well...right now there didn't seem a need to pursue that path right now. If the signals were clearer, if dimwit him somehow notices them, then he might. But for now, the guild and their friendship was enough.

Tristan put on a small smile as he trudged over to Lessa and the other lad. He gave a slight bow with his head in courtesy.

"Good day to you both. I was aimlessly looking for White Bulls to hunt so I could use string material to fix my guitar. Bit chilly for it though I tell you."

He breathed into his hands to warm them some, then was upright again to face them.

"How are you both anyhow?" He faced the young man and held out a hand for a handshake, "I'm Tristan. Tristan Delaney. I suppose at this point a good friend of Lessa's, even if we haven't known each other that long."

With common British courtesy out the way, he waited for their reply. He was quite mellow still from his thoughts earlier.

  5. Tristan sighed, his voice sounding more gentle.

"I'm sorry...I forgot myself. We live in a world where statistics matter. I was thinking of when I've fought with a spear in real life, when there is no 'HP'. But this is SAO, which is different."

Rolled a 4 on the d10 (battle) dice.

Tristan sent a stab with his spear forward to the wolf. He just missed the wolf though, skimming the fur and doing no damage. He stepped back, giving himself a good distance with his spear to react to the wolf.

  6. Tristan chuckled at Lessa as he smiled to the request. He remembered it himself and it was nice to share real world links. It helped remind him that these bonds could be forged for the real world too.

"Well, looks like you were blessed to have someone even request for just that."

Tristan's fingers began playing, at which point his eyes were closed to get into the feel. Once he began singing, his eyes were open and looked aimlessly around as he sung. He primarily looked at either his guitar or the facial expression of people listening.

  7. Tristan shot her a look as he stepped around her so she wasn't in front.

"Hey now, as long as I'm not dead, I don't care what happens to me. I promised I'd protect you too, so at least let me do that. I want to help you too you know, even if that ends up as a perpetual cycle of helping each other."

As if mindreading, the second wolf ran and charged straight at Lessa, fangs bared and ready to bite them.

    Rolled a 2 on the d4 dice.

    Rolled a 3 on the d6 dice.

    Rolled a 8 on the d8 dice.

Rolled a 10 on the d10 (battle) dice.

Rolled a 6 on the d12 (craft) dice.

    Rolled a 17 on the d20 (loot) dice.[/10]

The path to their face also got dangerously close, until Tristan shot his spear out at high speed and knocked the wolf completely out of orbit.

He smiled at Lessa "I know you want me safe, but I want the same. So instead of carrying all the burden, which you're trying to do right now, let's work together as a pair. You know we'll never finish SAO if we have people trying to carry all that burden alone."

    Tristan 12/15

    Lessa 17/17

    Wolf 1 DEAD

    Wolf 2 7/15

  8. This acoustic song was what he started playing as he had finished his song and changed to one he played when he practiced guitar. Tristan almost chuckled mid song from the "You made a friend" comment to Lessa about him. Not so much surprising as her blush though, which had him raise an eyebrow, though made nothing of it.

"Greetings. I decided a party needed some music, so I brought my own."

His fingers danced, playing the guitar. It was sincerely calming being able to play again.

"It also helped me decide on a profession, which is as a performer. Though the only other instrument I can play is cello. Moving on though, how are you during this starry, if virtual, night?"

  9. Tristan joined in with the audience who clapped. It looks like it was set on what he would do. He would hopefully buy this guitar and using the Sphere of Symphony he can make a cello, from which to do masterpieces as was just shown to him. He also had half a mind to play the Toccata in D Minor on it, though that will take some time before he could play it proficiently.

The audience was at this point either basking them in glory or moved to tears from their performance. Tristan merely smiled and had idle chatter with them, some players mixed in with the NPC's who sought a more peaceful life.

  10. Tristan was playing with plucking for ambiance during the tearjerking section, then strummed several chords as it got upbeat. He began singing a song which remarkably matched the violin that was being played, which also worked well with his guitar. It was a song his father used to play on the mandolin when he was a child.
