Mari blinked; wait....did she leave her tent unlocked? The young girl who entered seemed a little frazzled - asking about Teleportation Crystals. "Uhm..." Mari scratched the back of her head. "Sorry - that's...I don't have any available at the moment, and those things are a bastard to craft- you'd be looking at around 1.5k Col each." Mari wasn't sure if this player was okay with her or not. HOw did she even reach the 10th floor on her own? She looked fairly new around the gills. "Here..." Mari pulled out a piece of parchment paper. "There are a few merchant stores that will be able to hel

F01/Grandmaster Cook<<Oscar's Hot Dog Stand>> [Open]
Mari replied to Oscar's topic in Merchants and Shops
-Ping- A small message came up via the message request board for Oscar; the only Grandmaster Cook that Mari knew of, thanks to Ceres who had recommended him. She wasn't really a big fan of hotdogs..rather, she disliked the texture...and usually the taste, but when he was the only decent cook around, she had no choice @Oscar To: Oscar From: Mari Subject: An Order Hello, You have been highly recommended by a young merchant by the name of Ceres. She has sent me your inventory list and I would like to purchase the following 2x T1 Ultr -

Looking at getting this re-evaluated/does it need to be? I'm assuming it'd be T1 since it was dropped by a T1 boss, and I"m fine with that. ---- But since it doesnt' have a weapon specified, can I ask that it be specified to a Rapier? So the new thing would be ----- Black Ice A weapon that looks as black as the night sky, but feels as cold as Frosty's heart... probably. A drop from the Frosty the Warlord Event. T1 Rapier | +1 Damage +2 Freeze -------- Full disclosure, I do want to change it to a Rapier so I can give it to a friend

Destroyed. Everything had been destroyed. ALL her stock, all her potions, the good 40 Crystals that she had. It all had to go. Because it was outdated. Items floating around in a system that no longer supported it. "God f**king dammit..." Mari muttered. She had so many good items, only for them to be ruined. It was a shame she couldn't do anything about it...but - it was just another drawback in her path to redemption and recovery. Mari entered her tent, and had spent the last hour cleaning all the dust from the shelves and her equipment. Now, she sat in front of the bubbling brews

COMPLETE ALL USERS GAIN +1 SP

Mari was feeling.... very overwhelmed with how many people had began to appear out of the woodwork. She coughed to clear her throat. "H-hey.. Alkor...." She muttered. Her eyes still on the empty space where she thought she saw the flash of something out of the corner of her eye. "It's getting a little too crowded here for my liking, so I'm probably gonna head off." Mari flipped her dagger round in her hand and sheathed it. "Celes. I suggest you do the same." Her voice softened. "I'd really hate to see anything happen to you, yanno I don't admit it much - but you're a good friend." Mari ga

ALL PARTIES RECEIVE 200 COL +1 SP

The two spoke more about the guild, with Macgrath asking a few questions here and there; and Mari answering them. It was all fairly mundane stuff. She had to hand it to him, the questions weren't entirely stupid. He asked if there were any dues/fees or expectations. Mari's only major expectation was that no one would kill another player without valid reason...although if she were honest she'd prefer not at all. The second was to be active in guild activities; make it to the guild meetings - join in on the gathering sessions and the hunting sessions, contribute to the guild as a whole - and if

Mari finished off her meal, placed the knife and fork ontop of it and pushed the empty plate to the center of the table. "Right, So I've got this Guild - Cerulean Silence. The name is mostly just a play on words. A complete opposite of the Crimson Inquisition or whatever the heck that guild is called..." Mari said with a dismissive wave. "Point is, I'm just sticking it to them. They run around claiming they are the best, and strongest guild. All because of numbers. When they don't really look after their own. I plan on having two divisions, you following me so far?" MacGrath nodded.
-
Macgrath opened his mouth to say something but Mari held up her hand to stop him. "Uh- uh, nope. Stop right there." Mari paused to lift her glass and take another long slip before placing it back down on the table. She still had his undivided attention. Good. "I told you. I'll treat you with respect if you do the same to me, but one more word about this Madness bloke, and I'll assume you don't respect me. Mari lowered her hand and started to cut the chicken breast, not one to waste food she placed the morsel into her mouth and began to chew. She waited to finish before addressing the youth aga

The Macgrath kid reached out and shook her hand. Mari tried her best to initiate conversation with him but he was...how would one put it...squirmy? Yes. That sounded adequate. The kid kept fidgeting and glancing away. She asked him several questions, like what he was hoping to achieve, what his build was...what his profession was...but she was continually met with mumbles, and more insanity about how he 'had a demon inside of him' What did he calll it again? Madness? And this 'Madness' controlled him? First Argumail toted n about how he was the demon king, now this kid? Ugh. Mari got that

Mari approached the inn-keeper, a burly man with a stained white shirt. "Hi, can I please rent a room for a night." He grunted at her, and Mari snorted back. She was trying to be polite, but it seemed like that wouldn't cut here. "Listen, I'm f**king hot, and sweaty - and I need a damn room with a damn shower. Here." She dumped a pouch of col between them. "That's enough right?" The inn-keeper grunted as he reached out and wordlessly took the pouch - then turned his back on her. Reaching out to grab a key from the wall of them behind him. He turned and passed one to her. The entire e

Step...Step...Step... Each one took her closer and closer to Fortaleza. Finally, she could see the high sandstone walls that surrounded the city. A feeble laugh escaped her lips as she saw it. "F-Finally...." Mari wheezed as she placed a hand on the wall to support herself so she could catch her breath. "You think as an Aussie I'd be used to this sort of heat..." She muttered. The heat wasn't even muggy, but a dry heat - still. It was near unbearable for the orange haired woman. Mari entered the town, the high sandstone walls provided a decent amount of shade along the outer ring of
-
First things first... Back to the town. It may not be much cooler than here, but it was a bloody side better than wandering a literal desert. "Right...first thing I need to do is get back to Fortaleza..." Mari murmured to herself as she opened up her map and placed a marker on it. The town wasn't that far away. A brisk walk...10 minutes at most. That would be nice and easy, right? Wrong Not even five minutes had passed and Mari was dripping in sweat. Each step was hard, lifting up and pounding into the soft sad that broke beneath her steps, falling away and threatening to send t

Mari left Steel, sitting there along - amongst the hot sands and winds of the fifth floor. She felt flustered, in part due to the heat - and in part due to the less than hospitable conversation that had just occurred. She tried to replay it over in her head. He was a little obnoxious, but he was a kid. Heck... most the people in this game were kids. Mari had to keep reminding herself of that. These were kids and kids...were arrogant and obnoxious, and bratty. It was just part of growing up, and they were spending the best years of their lives trapped in this hellhole of a game. So who was
-
Mari lifted a finger to the left of where they were sitting. "There are some sand sharks that way if you walk for about 10 minutes, just be careful because the big one that spawns is a floor boss. I'm not sure if you would be able to handle it on your own." Mari gave Steel a light bap on his shoulder. "Whatever you do in life, have fun with it, but I'm done here. You and your friend have fun. Maybe next time when we meet I won't be so bothered...and maybe next time, you'll learn some damn manners too." Mari said, she didn't mean to sound harsh, but as always, that was exactly how she sounded.
