      LOL I'm simply following Wave's usual combat style, except a straight sword instead of a cutlass XD

      If you're fighting unarmed, you don't have a weapon equipped. Wraps are the tailor version and Harleys are the blacksmith version. Only unarmed damage applies to unarmed combat. You would have to unequip your sword to use the wraps/gauntlets.
