  1. The faint breeze that shifted through the ninth floor caught Teayre’s hair as she waited for Itzal to contact her. The message she had originally received had been short simply asking her to help with a quest on the ninth floor. It’d been quite some time since the Crimson Maiden had met with the self-titled scout. She shifted feet her fingers tapping on the hilt of her blade.

The golden eagle pommel escaping glinting between her fingers as she caressed the bird, the blade was longer than her previous one but not by much. She made her way to amongst some rocks on the outskirts of the main settlement, far enough away that she could be seen, but not near the safe zone. Her left hand moved down to the scabbard and gently pushed it away from her. Her rear foot she slid back bending the knee whilst raising her front foot so that it reset on the ball. Her right finger twitched for a second. The red head’s chest rose filling up with air before slowly falling again. “Come on Itzal… Where are you?”

@Itzal - Sorry it took so long!

  2. Teayre watched her eyes going thin as the crystal clattered to the ground. Slowly she walks over to it ignoring the fighting going on around her. Kneeling she encloses it in her hand, erecting herself she turns to face Hirru, the lizards around the duo bursting into crystals everywhere. He was on his knees in a matter of seconds. Slipping the teleport crystal into her pocket Teayre moves next to Hirru, looking around. Taking a deep breath she equips the Oikawa Kanashiki. The golden eagle pommel of the weapon glinting in the sunlight, the flickering edge of the black and white as she pushed it back with one hand. The other twitched over the top as she looked down at the Jade Hunter. “You should have used the crystal” She spat.

Dropping her right hand to her side the crimson maiden opens her menu leaving a note next to the green haired player.

I’ll be on the second floor, come find me when you’re ready.

As it wafted through the air settling on the ground the red head turned on her heel, walking away. Disappearing into the horizon, she hummed a simple turn as she went something reminiscent of  Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

  3. Her ears twitched for a second moment as a gust of wind blows by, perfectly concealing the sigh that Baldur lets out from the red head. Her eyes were fixed on the ground, her vision starting to become hazy as the azure hakama teetered in the top of her vision. She blinked once, the blurriness vanishing before reappearing. “What we all do, reflects on each other?” Her eyes screwed tightly shut her whole body began to shake. Her hand clenching and reopening extremely quickly.

Fire bristled in her mind, the ash that lay on her. The disappearance. Her wedding day. The coarse hand. The soft hand. The brown hair. The red hair. “Teayre.” Teayre looked up, a bundle of blue hair greeting her, her eyes began to stream, no holding back. “Calnus.” She mutters aloud, her hand seizing and finally remaining clenched the crimson maiden shut her eyes tightly for a minute.

Listening quietly, motionlessly until Baldur paused for the second time. Her blazon eyes meeting the steel gaze of her teachers.

“The Muramasa…” Teayre laughed, “There’s not much in there when you feel the impulse to take a life. The impulse to see and feel the blood of another human. The joy of being that much in control… Over other people.” She paused for a moment, her body motionless, not even the fluttering of eyelids. “That can’t keep going on Baldur. I know it, I will train your way. I…”

She paused turning her head away as he continues, “You don’t have to reveal all of this to me…” Watching as her master bows to her. Watching as he shows her exactly what he wishes to teach her. This perfection. Her finger twitched, her hand slowly reaching for her own blade.

    “DAMNIT TEAYRE!”

Her voice echoed in the silence she wrenched her left hand down trapping it against her womb. “Baldur...” She mutters, through gritted teeth “Please. Take my blade away…” Her eyes began to swell again as if they were an ocean. “I… need to share with you my story… I… I…” She falls silent. Her hands catching on the floor the red head begins to gag.

Her chest rising and falling, eyelids screwed tightly shut. Her fingers dig into the grass below her earth lining her finger nails. “Bal- Dur-“ She mutters “Save… Me…”

  4. Teayre smiled as Hirru followed up her own attack with his own. Instead of ducking away from the attack the red changes her direction and kicks off the ground. The blade narrowly missing her feet, the red head cusses quietly. “I need to get acrobatics back…” As she came to land, the red head could see the Lizard’s health dropping quickly her own eyes as she looked at Hirru.

“If you can keep up Hirru, I’m not going to die. They won’t let me.”

With that statement she moved, her red hair glistening as a slight rain began to patter down. The lizard’s tails lashing out towards her all of them hitting her. The health of herself falling deep into the red section. The red heads lips flick upwards, it’d been sometime since she’d been in a situation so… dire.

Tossing her hair back she brandishes her sword. “Hirru. Finish them off for me okay?” Gently she pats his back before letting her sword art rip. The fangs dug into her as she cut left and right, her own blade cutting through the mobs <<Butterfly Illusion>> A prismatic show of colours with a red blur in the centre of them. As she finshed moving the beasts seemed to ignore Hirru completely as they all stepped closer to Teayre. “If you take me out, you take me out survive Jade Hunter.” Unclipping a glimmering blue crystal from her belt she throws it towards Hirru.

“I’m a killer, I enjoy killing those I don’t like. I also enjoy saving those few I do.”

  5. “Really Red? You think we’ll let you off that easy?” The man with the katana chortled, the blade swinging so that the back of it was resting on her shoulder. “We know how you got that orange crystal. We know what you did to him.” The deep navy blue of his clothing swayed as he shifted his stance to glare at Teayre. Her eyes narrowed, “What did they know?” Her wrist turned as she began to ready an attack, her lips pursing for a moment. “Well then what did I do to him?” The smaller man, a freckled man. The straight sword held ready to strike moved slowly round to her right flanking her. His words were like a viper’s. Venom laced them, the bite of the words cut deep. At the moment sound seemed to drown out of the world for Teayre her face going whiter than it already was.

  6. Teayre watched her eyes narrowed as Mothra took more damage from the other players. The parties switching as they needed to, the boss seeming to be on the defensive as Heathcliff shot forwards, his own blade cutting the boss reducing the second health bar to nothing. Teayre felt her lips twitch as she saw what had happened the power of Heathcliff’s unique. She glanced over to Baldur, her blade was in his hands. Fire swirled in her eyes for a moment before the gust of wind hit her. Raising her hands up she shields her eyes from the sand that is caught in the blow. Sliding back several meters, her own health bar dropped a significant amount as the particles cut through her arms and side. “Damn” She mutters under her breath. The rest of her team, reacting seconds before her darted in cutting the boss. Striking it. Hurting it. Following their lead Teayre activates Legion Destroyer and deals her own portion of damage to the boss.

  7. The wings of the giant creature beat in front of her, a great wind whistling past her ears. Teayre’s eyes flicked to the giant beasts as she slowly began to walk forward. Her team surging forwards in front of her. Calrex, making the first move but then failing to hit. Baldur, striking with unerring accuracy.  Takao as well. She knew the Spectrum Coalition would do their part. Her sister Ariel, she questioned herself could she call the blonde that anymore? The time that they had spent together was such a long time ago. Finally Zandra, the one who created the opening for her. Her finger tapping along the blade of her weapon as she rushed forwards. Letting her sword art activate, the blade a blur as she struck several times. Stopping she glares up at the creature, taunting it, baiting it. She wanted it to attack her. Glancing over she could see Baldur frown for a second in a worry. Standing straight up she smiles at the creature, sword out to one side. “Come.” She whispers under her breath.

  8. Her menu pinged up. Teayre looked over it. The image of the Azure Chevalier hovered in the top left corner as she read through the body of the text. “Twentieth Floor boss…” She sighed. “Should I go?” The sky on the seventh floor was clear as she sat on the edge of one of the mountains close to where she had fought the unique skill npc. Sliding from her perch Teayre makes her way to the road before travelling the long slog up to floor twenty. Akuma’s Vein swirled around her as she read back through the message. Clicking her tongue light shimmers around her as she begins to select the items she wishes to use for the boss raid. Hiding Stone. Finding Stone. Ketsueki Kanashiki. The black outfit she used to wear back when she was a level one. Wreathed in these items she made her move.

Swallowing she broke through the darkness of the dungeon and saw the raid team. The green crystals all hovering in front of her, moving to a halt she spots two different shades  of blue mottled with green. Moving quickly, the girl makes her way towards them before hear someone shouting about consumables. Turning away from her beeline to her guild mates Teayre moves to  the vendor. “Could I get the following please? I Booze, You Lose, Meat of Dem Bones, Sharp Attack Cheddar and a Solid Marble Cake” Swiping her hand down Teayre produces a bag of col and hands it to Beat. Turning away the girl quickly drains all the consumables before gently touching her husband’s shoulder. “Hi.” She quietly whispers, flicking open her shared inventory with Calrex, Teayre withdraws Cerberus' Soul and applies it to her weapon.

  9. “No.”

Teayre’s eyes blinked once as she maintained contact with Baldur’s. Her lips quivered for a moment before turning down. Her teeth gritting. “What do I need to do?” Her mind was a spiral, her face calm, the azure eyes locked to her crimson fires simmering in both of them. Blinking once, twice, then a third time each with several seconds in between the silence extending between herself and Baldur.

Her hand rotated the blade around moving towards the starting move of a sword art. Gritting her teeth she flicks her wrist straight before bringing the clenched fist up to her left shoulder. “Who I am is both a killer, one of the more notorious Baldur. I am also learning my own path. Striving forward. Your teachings were to help me on that path.”

Turning her head for a second breaking the contact that had linked them for the past several minutes. Eyeing her blade up Teayre breaths out. In the middle of the breath, she moves. Her armour straightens the sword flying forwards. No sword art used. The blade missing Baldur’s ear by a fraction. The girl’s left hand withdraws the saya from her hip.

    “Now, do you accept.”

Moving it to her left she drops it onto the floor. “I am a killer. I won’t hesitate to take a life again.” She pauses her lips pursing for a moment, her eyes shimmering. The azure chevalier stood in front of her. She shifted her weight from central to being on one foot, one hand going behind her back. The other brushing a strand of maroon hair that had fallen over her face, tucking it behind her ear. Then linking her hands behind her back.

Taking in a deep breath she waits. Controlling her breathing. “Remember who you are Narlia, remember Liss.”

Her eyes flicked open. A steel to them, meeting Baldur’s. “If I must take one again, then I would do so with my emotions in check rather than crackling like a flame on a splintered match.” Swiping open her inventory she looks through before selecting a simple weapon. The <<Decorative Katana>> materialized at the hip of the red head. “Calnus…” She whispers to herself, glancing up at Baldur, raising an eyebrow at him before moving on hand to the left hand to hold the saya underneath the tsuba of the weapon. She takes a knee. Her right hand resting on the bent knee of her right leg.

    “Hai. Sensei.”

    @Baldur

  10. “Nothing…” Teayre replies to her husband quietly her eyes failing to meet her husbands she stepped forwards gently resting her head against the coolness of the Ultramarine Knight’s armour. “I was just thinking of Meokka…” Her eyes flicked to look at the farm her reveal skill activating, what she saw caused her sentence to end abruptly.  A flicker of white hair can be seen coming towards the duo. Turning Teayre presses the thumb to the hilt of her blade for a moment. Her eyes narrowing, her breathing shallow. “Seren.” She whispered under her breath walking towards the girl, Teayre her blade fully. “I thought I told you to go the other way.”

The hair on the back of Teayre’s neck stood on end, the girl shivered before turning to face her husband. Her eyes, full of fire, met his. “Sorry Cal.” She said whimsically waving her hand at him. “Go on ahead I’ll catch up.” Dismissing him with both her words and actions, Teayre turns to face the white haired girl in front of her. Raising her sword placing it on her chest, the crimson maiden’s eyes narrow as she glares at the girl.

“Go.” She whispered as a single word to the girl before turning on her heel and walking past her husband. Her eyes moving to the side keeping contact with his before she strides past him, head held high. “I am Teayre Muramasa the Crimson Maiden… No matter what he says, I am who I am.”

Her lips quiver slightly, before rolling up into a grin. Flicking her hair over her shoulder as she swipes down in front of her opening the menu, she selects Akuma’s Vein and equips it. The blood red armour encapsulates her giving the image that she moves shrouded in flame and shadow. The girl turns suddenly off the trail, looking at the location that she had acquired earlier from the from the info broker. Sliding her weapon back into the sheathe the girl leans her head back letting the sun bask on her face stretching out her arms and rotating.

    @Calrex

  11. The warmth of the hand that enveloped hers caused the red head to smile briefly. “Normal?” Her lips twitching even as the lizards managed to clamp their teeth into her. A brief sigh dropping from her mouth she pushes her back against Hirru’s. “Do me a favour.” She calls before pushing off from him the blade at her side rotating as she twisted her wrist, setting it in the ready position for her next move.

    “DUCK!”

She yells as her sword art activates. Butterfly Illusion, two curved blades of light appear to cut either side of her in a complete three-hundred and sixty degree. The top of the sword art skimming Hirru’s hair. The flame’s from Akuma’s Vein just dying out as her own blade cut into the creatures that she had started to fight.

“Finish them if you can Hirru, I’ve not got much more left in me.” Teayre mutters as she readies her stance again watching the creatures slowly prowl in closer from around them. “Hopefully this dungeon will give us what we need.”

  12. The person she had embraced was shivering, no… Shaking. Teayre simply tightened her embrace, squeezing pulling Hirru close to her. Resting her head on his shoulder she whispers in his ear, “You won’t be alone anymore Hirru, no matter what happens, in this world or when we all get out I shall find you and we shall be family. You spoke of a place you could only dream off. Well that dream is a reality should you wish it.”

Taking several moments before she releases the hug, she takes a step back. Her deep crimson eyes meeting the incandescent emerald eyes of Hirru. Raising her hand she places it on the green haired man’s shoulder. “If you want me to be Jade Hunter, I shall be your sister. Not just in arms but in everything bar blood.” A single tear rolled down the red head’s cheek before bursting into pixels. “Okay?”

"When we finally do escape this place," Teayre started turning away from the Jade Hunter. "Understand this!" Her feet crunching underneath her the girl walks forwards towards the dark pit. "I shall find my friends, I shall find the ones I trust. I've no one outside of this world. Calrex and I are married here, however in the real place I don't even know if he has a partner, he wouldn't tell me." Her foot kicking off as her charge skill activates carrying her towards the mobs, her blade cutting each one easily. "Yet, we will find each other and start a new life. I offer the same to all of those who carry those badges! WE WILL SURVIVE THIS WORLD. WE WILL SURVIVE ANY REALITY!" The Crimson Maiden yells out loud, facing her party member, she holds out her hand, ignoring the giant lizards that swarmed towards her. "Come with me Hirru."

  13. Teayre fell silent and unnervingly still for a moment, her movements becoming jarring as she swiped down to open up her menu. Scrolling through to her inventory she equips her at ready items. The Finding Stone and Akuma’s Vein. She turns to face Hirru, her lips thin, a smouldering ember inside her eyes as she locked eyes with him her own like daggers. “Something in the other world?!” She snaps, “Hirru the Jade Hunter. Right now if it wasn’t on me asking you here on my request and giving you that badge. I would kill you for that comment.” Her thumb clamped down on the tsuba of the Ketsueki Kanashiki.

Letting out a small breath she keeps the steely gaze with Hirru, “In the other world my father abused me. My sister died at his hand. I didn’t even know my mother. I have something in the other world? Calrex and I met here, this world is more of my reality then anything else.” Swapping her thumb to underneath the tsuba Teayre pushes on it, freeing the blade drawing it and holding it to her side. “Would you like to know my first kill? My own father, without hesitation I slew him with battojutsu. He followed me into this world, I took him from it. This world is my home more than the real one Hirru. Yet, I respect people want to get out. I accept that people want to return to their lives even if I don’t, if you’ve gained my respect and my approval. You don’t need to prove yourself, we don’t care what level you are. We don’t care who you are. If you’ve proven yourself you’ve proven yourself.”

Raising her free hand Teayre places it on Hirru’s shoulder, before sliding it over and down his back. Letting her blade clatter to the ground, she leans forward moving her other arm to embrace the Jade Hunter and then whisper in his ear. “Listen, no matter who you are, you are a friend to me. You are someone I trust.”

  14. The crimson maiden listened to her companion taking in his words, her ears twitching slightly as she walked down the valley. “You could say that… Cal can always explain this better than me.” Taking a breath she stops turning to see Hirru lagging behind. “The Spectrum Coalition is a family and more. They’re people who trust each other unconditionally and have been around since just before Square One dissolved at least unofficially.” Straightening her back Teayre smiles at the green haired man, her lips curling slightly, “Hirru, we are here to look after each other no matter what happens. We support each other even if we think they’re wrong, like Calrex has done for me on so many occasions, even when I’ve attacked him.”

Turning away the red head waves a hand beckoning Hirru to follow her again, approaching one of the rocks she leans in and begins to gently press around. Before moving behind it and shoving several of the stones over revealing an entrance. “So, the entire purpose behind us… It’s to make sure we remain true to who we are, that this game… It doesn’t break us. We look out for each other and help each other out no matter what is the simple premise. I’ve not seen that from the Azure Brigade, Celestial Ascendents or even the Knights of the Blood.” Teayre stood facing the man her eyes locking with his, a stern steely glare. “So tell me Hirru. What do you think of the Coalition?”

  15. Seren's hair flicked around as the crimson maiden pressed her advance, leering at the infomation broker. A flash of blue came up and Teayre raised her head to avoid it hitting her. "Now. Now. We can't have that can we?" Smirking at the girl a loud cry came from above. Glancing up Teayre saw Roc. "Tch. Of the the god damn times." Looking at Seren her girl shoves her back and releases her. "Tell me and hurry it up." Tears were streaming down the white haired girl's face, as she sobbed out "Dragons... at the far corner of the floor. A bunch of whelplings one much bigger than the rest and bright green... More on other floors.." Gently placing her hand on Seren's head Teayre smiles at the girl. "Now that wasn't so hard was it you pitiful girl. Run along whilst I deal with the interloper."

Without waiting Teayre turned and began to walk out of the farm in the direction that she had seen Roc come in. A familiar bluenette not to far away. Quickly inhaling and then letting out a slow exhale the red haired girl begins to walk forwards to meet her husband, calming her face. "Cal!" She calls out raising a hand. "I've found out about another quest on the first floor, that goes up the floors." She glances back to the farm a flash of green and white could be seen moving about. "Why hasn't she left yet?" Furrowing her brow she ends up turning to face the farm.

  16. The flames of Akuma's Vein licked her arms and legs as she walked, shifting moving with her as if she was a monster that belonged to this floor. The pale white opal of the finding stone was resting on her collarbone as her feet pattered against the ground, the scenary flashing by without giving the girl much time to look out to see it. The blade gently tapping at her knee with each step. Openning her menu as she ran, dodging the lava, only small beads of sweat forming across her brow thanks to the survival skill. She made sure the jet black obsidian form of the hiding stone was in her ready inventory alongside the Finder's Keepers and the Slither of Silver. as her feet carried her further and further round she came to a halt. Several figures where in front of her. Three sillhouettes one with a hand axe and a shield, One with a katana and one with a straight sword. As colour came to the figures Teayre could see the green crystals above their heads. She turned her feet coming to a halt. She knew what was about to happen. Letting out a sigh she drew her blade. "Let me pass." she called out to them.

  17. Slowly inclining her head to look at the man as he spoke, her lips twitching. “You may have been the greenest person there, yet you took the initiative.” She muttered. “Loyalty…” Teayre sniffed at the word. Rising to her feet the red head stood just before the person who was her party member was stood. A green glimmer catching her eyes, the twitching turned to a full blow smile. “Calling you out? I guess you could call it that. To me…” She paused closing her eyes for several seconds. As she opened them again there was a radiant gleam behind them. A fire that the red head had been quelling was starting to slowly rise up again.

She took a step forwards pushing the blade of her weapon partially out of the scabbard. “To me Hirru. Blades in the heat of battle, that’s what we all are.  However.” Her smile twisted into a smirk, her eyes quivering. “Those with these badges… They’re… Special, by rights I shouldn’t have given you one.” Swiping her hand down the girl opens up her menu. She navigates her menu and pulls out a scarlet badge. “Loyalty can only get you so far. Loyalty can be lost. Trust can be destroyed. Family. They’re family regardless of who your friends are.”

With her menu open the girl changed her equipment. The Slither of Silver forming across her neck line, a golden monocle appearing over her eye as the Finger’s Keepers materialized. “Hirru, how much do you know of the Spectrum Coalition? I’m curious. Do you know who we really are?” Waving a hand for the green haired man to follow her she turns and begins to follow the winding path further down into the valley.

    Sorry it's taken so long!

  18. Her finger twitched as the paralysis holding her lifted. The red head fell to her knees. The blue light fading leaving her among the strewn lava covered boulders. Her blade tucked in to her hip, the girl’s hand instinctively went to it and gently caressed the hilt. “I. Hate. Paralysis!” She mutters through clenched teeth, her shoulders tensed. Pressing down with a hand she slowly stumbles back to her feet. The lava of the floor spewing up next to her, the red head dodging it. Before looking over to the mountain that dominated this floor. Kazan. “I guess that’s probably where I will be heading then.” She stepped forwards stopping for a second, shifting her weight onto the back foot, swaying slightly as she slowly began to regain control of her balance. She started to make her way towards the path of the peak, that was several hours walking away, that was if she didn’t run into any trouble along the way.

  19. The red head watched as Itzal covered for them, almost finishing the boss off and at the same time stunning him. The red head gritted her teeth at the action. Twisting her blade for a split second she glances down at it before looking back up at Itzal. “Maybe…” She whispers to herself before her husband’s shouting broke her semi-trance. As she glanced up she saw the boss walking over to the Ultramarine Knight. Seemingly ignoring the stun that Itzal had attempted. “Tch.” The red head let slip. Teayre watched with slow motion as the boss raised its weapon up towards Calrex. The red head moved, as if she had invoked her battojutsu.

Her blade struck eleven times again. This time the boss burst. Pixels flew everywhere as the crimson maiden destroyed the very thing that was about to attack her husband. It’s blade clattering to the ground before it had managed to strike him. “Itzal. Good work.” She nods to the boy, turning to her beloved Teayre sheathes her blade before raising a hand and then letting it fall to her side. “Sorry…” She whispers before turning on her foot walking towards the precipice of the steps. “So… Where to next?” She enquires as she pushes the doors to the Night King’s hall open.

  20. Spinning, her hair twirling around her like a storm. Teayre draws her blade stepping forwards with a foot readying herself for combat. A crack like a bull whip came from behind the red head causing her to spin again, calling out as she did so. “Who’s there?” She calls, her eyes narrowing as she attempted to pierce the darkness, even with her Night Vision active the girl wasn’t having much luck spotting the source of the sound. Sheathing her blade with a huff Teayre flicks her hair over her shoulders with both hands as the cascade of blue crystals begins to fall around her again, a voice began to echo all around her. “In the shadows of this floor… A man is being held captive. I wish for you to rescue him.” Teayre went to raise her hand to swipe at the light that was falling around her to no avail, her arm wouldn’t respond. She thought she knew what had happened and a quick glance at her status bar confirmed it. She was paralysed.

  21. She’d made her way to a farm, that she had often visited back before she was a player killer. She was scheduled to meet an info broker, it’d been this way for a while. She’d kept up on a variety of news this way and was now waiting for the latest information. Taking several breaths Teayre looked over at the pig pen, where a small hairy pig rolled around in a mud. A light chuckle came from her lips as she smiled gently. Walking over to it, watching it play and frolic, all the while keeping one hand on the hilt of her blade. Just in case. She didn’t want to risk having to fight, what she didn’t want was more players to join in and try and attack her. If they did, Teayre knew she didn’t have much of a choice. Turning around the red head watches the NPCs going about their business, keeping themselves to themselves as she checked the time on her menu.

The girl began to drum her fingers along her arm. “Seriously where is she.” She mutters under her breath when the sound of a pebble being thrown against the tree she was leaning against. “Well now. It’s been a long time since you’ve asked for my help, Teayre.” The voice that carried over towards the red head was filled with loathing. The tone like a whip, leaving a sting on the red head as she moved her back shaking her head for a minute.  Clenching her left hand tightly she turns to see the hooded player. “Seren.” The crimson maiden greets the broker, “So what have you got for me?” The girl didn’t move, her eyes locking with her broker’s. “Come now, you know better than to stall don’t you?” Taking a step forwards Teayre smiles placing a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Don’t fret, I’m not going to hurt you.” The smile turned to a wicked grin, “If you tell me what I want to know.” Gently the crimson maiden squeezed tighter on Seren’s arm.
