That is a good question to which I don't have an answer.
However, the harder mobs may factor into future quests on the floor, so I'm throwing them out there now.
Hint, at some point, I do plan on there being a "Slay the Nimean Lion" quest and you'll HAVE to address Lionesses in that quest.
Think of the spoilers as advance warning on a few possible quest mobs. :)

If you wanted to make generic mobs like that more appealing, I'd recommend having them drop bonus materials or give a higher base col multiplier.
