  1. "To @Lawfer, my friend and former lover. You were a great man and I am glad we had spent as much time as we had. I will miss you as one of those who truly saw who I was and what I was capable of. Above else, just another person and not a character or an avatar. Should things have changed, I would have loved to meet you in the real world." The woman had said, climbing the tower to the next floor. She had several to go and the walk was going to be long. But she had words for each of her friends, although they could not hear her, they were words that needed to be lifted off her chest.

    "To my pal, @Grave. We could have been something special, you better take care of that lady friend of yours for as long as you can. Cherish those moments you have with her, make her feel like she is the world and make her feel protected when you hug and embrace her. Keep your fighting spirit and do not stray from the road ahead of you. You are a friend and a Knight, continue on." Her feet continued to move through the darkness of this odd spiraling world around her.

    Her friends roamed through her mind with each step she took, her face sullen and grief filled with each passing footnote of a stair she ascended to. Her eyes continued to stay on the trail ahead of her, but her mind was miles away from where she was. Who else was there to speak of, to say good-bye? There was probably a dozen of them, each important and helped craft who she is today.

    "So many of them will be left in this world to fight. Am I just seeking the easy way out? Would I ever really stand a chance against the Laughing Coffin? I never thought of myself as suicidal, but can I accomplish this? Can I survive?"

  2. She shifted her weight and continued moving along through the grass fields. Boar after boar thumped into her leg with no indication of bother her. Occasionaly she would lift her leg and boot one of them in the head as if kicking a can out of the way of her path. Jaken hurriedly moved along realizing that she no longer had an inventory except for what she was carrying. Then she stopped as she reached the Orange Player stairs to the next floor. Her violet eyes shifted and she knelt down towards her Familiar. She dropped her sword at her side and lifted the little imp up off his feet where she hugged him tightly, "M-m-master Opal!!" tighter she hugged him as he flailed his arms, "Even your love...is...terrifying!" he said unable to breath before he finally was set back down on the ground.

    "Jaken. You have been a good servant. But I now release you from your Life Debt owed to me. Where I am going, I will not be able to take you." she said. The familiar stood there, flat footed, mouth wide open and his eyes watering, "B-b-but Master Opal! We have so many more adventures to go through! We have floors to explore! Mobs to kill! Loot to collect! You can't simply just leave me here!" he said with a small fit. The familiar acted out of impulse and dropped his staff roaring towards her and slammed his small body into her knee and hugged it as tight as it could, "I wanna stay with you forever."

    Those words; 'forever.' She could only sweep away but a single tear that had formed. She was sound and resolved to go through with what she was going to do, but this was a bit too much even for her. The familiar stood there as she stood up and she shook her head, the violet strands covering her eyes, "No, Jaken. This is where we say good-bye." The creature picked up his staff and sighed also sweeping a tear from his yellow eye balls. Jaken was unsure of what was happening, but he watched as she lifted her hand and cruised through her menu. She had released him, and therefore his spirit and body slowly started to drift away into oblivion, "You were a great friend, Jaken. Perhaps in the future you will have a more honorable Master." Then she moved on and away.

  3. "It is not a game," she repeated to herself quiety as he assaulted her with those words. It was not the first time she heard them but it might be the last. She sighed lightly, flicking the violet bangs of hair from her eyes, "Say what you will. You are not alone to burden this secret. There are others who know of what I am doing. Seek out Calrex, Grave, and Itzal. They are all know my true intentions from this. You and they will know the truth of the matter. But I am also doing this for a part of myself. I've had to burden the death's of the lives I have taken as well. Me dieing, this will set things right. This world is precious and their are Player Killers who are as strong as Calrex and they live like kings. If I don't attempt something, if no one will, then you will all die."

    The woman shifted her weight from one leg to another and looked at him with an inexperienced expression, one of confusion and another of sorrow. Her hand lifted lightly and placed it on his shoulder, "You will do great things for this world. You will fight tooth and nail for what you believe is right. You are not alone, I see you no longer bear the Knights of Blood colors. That's a shame, its a legacy I wish to have seen to the end. But there is a future that we must all to realize and see, Seul. Don't lose that heart inside of you. People will die, many more will, you will see loved ones die in your arms. But you will also have good memories of others. You'll laugh again one day." The woman turned, flicked her hair with the back of her hand and slowly moved towards Jaken kicking him towards the ground as she reached for her Masamune X, "Wake up, it's time to go." Unsheathing the massive sword from the earth, she flicked her head towards Seul and mounted the blade over her shoulder.

    "Take care, Seul! Make sure you live or I'll come back as a ghost and kick your ass. Guarantee that!" The woman shifted once more. She could use the portal, but she felt herself an Orange Player. The only way to go was to walk the lonely road.

    @Seul

  4. "I am." She said, soft smile on her blackened lips, but moved not an inch from her position. He looked ready to run if need be and he stood firm in his place. The boy had grown as a player, however he didn't have the noticeable Red n White, did he leave the guild? It was question that did not need to be answered, however there were others. Most specifically, 'why?' She squinted her eyes at him with that brief smile on her face, it soon dissolved into a more complicated expression. She moved her body forward, wind catching her hair once more as it ran off her slim shoulders. She did not take the pulsating dark blade, Masamune X with her, as she made her way towards Seul.

    "You are the first player I had asked to join the Knights of the Blood. You trusted me back then, I hope you trust me now. You probably feel a bit betrayed by the acts of killing a player by the name Dom and rightfully bringing down the Azure Brigade with Oikawa. Forgive the man, he was not in his right mind when he slayed Zelrius. I was full aware of what was happening, but I had my reasons. Complicated reasons."

    The woman sighed lightly leaving a few feet between the two. Her hands hooked behind her back and she turned away from him, head titled to the serene sky above, "You remember when you were level one and you fought these boars? How difficult it was to hurdle and kill these things. Now a simple sword swipe can kill them easily for us. We've come along way, matured and grew. I joined Laughing Coffin, but not for the reason you think."

    She swiftly turned and her eyes were narrowed, "I joined to destroy them. For far too long have players died because of the upbringing of PK guilds. Someone...someone had to take care of them so that no others would perish. Dom was a player killer, he deserved to die. Zelrius a former player killer, toting the dual blades and one of the so called Heroes of Aincrad...was too a Player Killer. They had to die. That was the first step. My next was to infiltrate Laughing Coffin because I knew of the rumors. Any player who kills another does not deserve to live. I...do not deserve to live. So I am doing what I should have done a little while ago. I'm gonna remove them from Aincrad but I don't know if I can do it alone."

    She looked at him, eyes on his face, "I'm not asking you to come with me. I'm giving you what I have gained, because I don't think I will come back alive. I want you to give everyone a message for me when you see them. KoTB, whoever...spread this word to them. Opal was a woman who was deceiving and uncaring. She needed no friends no allies. When you see my name scratched off the Monument of Life, I want to make sure players are aware of my crimes and atrocities. They need a reason to hate sometimes, a reason to kill and to stand up to Player Killers. Tell them...Opal was no hero this day, tell them she was exactly what she had been this entire time; a Traitor. A no body. Do not fill their heads with me being some self sacrificing Goddess."

    Opal placed a finger on her Trade menu and began to shift the items around, "This is all for you. Do with it what you will."

    Traded Items to Seul:

    -Katana of the Fallen
    -Demonic Egg
    -Maiden's Kiss
    -Glittering Snowflake
    Col: Will be sent via Dashboard
    -Essence of Steel x2

  5. Opal had been standing in a field of boars now what felt like an eternity. It was high noon and most of the players were scouring the prairie for the local grind and yet the field was clear of any players. Standing there as an imposing figure was the high leveled player; Opal of Laughing Coffin. She had slept much and was contemplating her options for the next several days. She was awake and ready to move on with her plans.

    In the bright sunlight, her dark armor reflected the sunlight into a dull orange and black. Her violet eyes looked on with an expressionless face as her body showed a more rigid stance with her arms folded and eyes set for the gate of the city. A long bladed Katana was impaled into the Earth and her familiar Jaken sat in the grass, arms crossed with his eyes closed. Opal's long silver colored hair shifted with the breeze of an incoming wind. Eyes set force still as it lingered and wrapped around her body for the brief moment that it was there before settling off once again into the world.

    She sighed slightly, "He should be here any moment." she had recalled earlier that day that she had sent a message to a one named @Seul. They had known each other briefly, being recognized as a loyal member of Aincrad and a fighter, he was a necessary player for the Knights of the Blood, of course after her deception towards the guild things were not the same with the Red and White. She did not talk much with the members, avoided her presence with them the best she could. But now was the time to saddle up and set out what she had planned to do from the start. The message within was brief.

    From: Opal
    To: Seul
    Body: Meet me in the field of floor 1 where the Boars spawn. Come alone.
    PS: Im not gonna kill. Please, I need your help.

    Given the message and her actions, it would be hard to believe anything she said. But hopefully he would come, if not, well then...She would have to find another person who was loyal to Aincrad.

  6. Loud words accompanied the clash of weapons. Opal's head turned slightly to hear the sounds of war coming from behind her. Apparently Itzal had yet to cleave the head off the Boss Enemy in this little war, which meant it was dragging on longer than she had wanted to. Alone, she could have swept this entire field by herself, but with someone else taking the lead she was on dreg detail. She rolled her eyes at the situation she was currently in, they were not strong enough to pierce her armor and too flimsy to hold any kind of challenge. Swinging the blade of the weapon left and right, the elven warriors had prepared for an attack.

    "I know they are just AI, but they don't realize how many of them I have killed so far. It's a bit sad..." several thrusting weapons came down towards her, she moved left and right guiding her body away from the attacks as they passed through air. Sweeping the Maiden's Kiss to the left, she severed an arm from one and cut down to the bone of another. Their body was only but an instant of a glimmer of passing before they shattered into nothingness. Opal cleared her throat, the Holy Katana beaming in the drenched land of the falling sun. She turned her attention once more to an upcoming swarm of more Elven Guards, "Tch. How predictable."

    @Itzal

  7. She had simply turned her head to catch the words of the Master Scout behind her, despite being the choice of class character most people avoided, Itzal remained vigilant on his path without waiver. He had succumbed to the thought, 'what could I do more?' when she had spoken to him, but rest assured him that his ideals as a scout were gonna be just as important for the front liners than a normal DPS unit. Swiftly sweeping her Maiden's Kiss Blade through several elven guards, the woman's body arched and moved with the reflexes of a cat not allowing a single member interrupt the fight where Itzal was stationed and fighting the King. She had noticed the wound upon the Boss, it was effecting him greatly and soon thereafter this War would come to a close and the Ents would have victory over the restless and relentless guardian Elves.

    However their King was not going down without a fight, it seemed more and more Toy Soldiers were coming to his aid, but Opal only smiled in return when she was faced with four more of these dreg units. With that certain glint in her eye, she knew all too well in the art of killing. One, two, three, four...death. Their armor did nothing to protect them from what being turned into gemmed confetti. This war would soon end with their victory.

    @Itzal

  8. Had her words fallen of deaf ears? Was this little child so annoyingly stubborn that he wished to die a miserable, miserable and lowly death? Did he have nothing to live for but waste away under-- "Oh, he actually landed a decent hit," she thought with her lips giving off a faint smile. Her words did not fall on deaf ears; on the contrary they had resounded deep within the Pathfinder ever since that one day their swords crossed. Sweeping her sword to the side and slowly latching it within the saya, the woman shifted her weight from her ample hips and moved into a relaxed position as the sword leaned against her body as she folded her arms, "Don't die, or I'll have to tell everyone you know you were killed by a simple field boss." her words were not harsh, yet she would make certain that he would hear those words, in fact, she demanded that he would win this fight. Flicking her long silver white hair from her shoulder, she turned her back to catch a glimpse of some of the rogue elvish warriors running towards her, "I got these guys..."

    She would not let them pass and interfere, despite being NPCs and nothing more than fodder for her blade, the woman would let lose her Maiden's Kiss, the Holy Blade Katana. Ripe with the unfurling of her might, she would sweep the curved katana around the necks of her foes, splicing down and cutting into the ways of their armor until their bodies fell into a pixelated mess. She laughed half amused to herself, "Yeah, make this worth it for me."

    @Itzal

  9. Opal, who was working on her way back to Itzal, was becoming highly agitated by the small fry blocking her path. With holy blade of Maiden's Kiss, the woman used all her might to sweep the blade across elven weaponry where they were destroyed along with the wielders themselves. Her eyes filled with rage as she shot forward once again, cutting and mowing down the dregs with her unique katana. Violet eyes seared through flesh with a hot gaze, as she charged in and rushed the flank of the troops. Her blade came down splitting Elves in twine and their bodies dematerializing in a moment of the presence of the blade cutting through them.

    She whipped around, snow white hair unfurling off her shoulders as she struck down another opponent, "Itzal!" she yelled, an arm reaching out until she finally was within a few feet of the upcoming fight. Thankfully he was not too injured, "Ahh, good. You are alright. I swear to your Creator, you better not do anything like that again. Now, step aside and I'll finish this."

    OOC: Opal will of course try to butt in, feel free to say whatever you wish. She'll listen...maybe.

  10. OOC: If you get in trouble, Opal's gonna kick your ass afterwards. But yeah, you have permission. XP

    Opal had squeezed her blade through the armor of the Elves as they exploded in pixelated ash as their remains were carried towards the sky and oblivia. The woman's snow of white hair bounced and shifted with every turn of her body. Her skills with the Katana as sharp as her blade as she mowed down, elf after elf in this grisly and bloody war. However when she stopped to catch @Itzal's face to see if he was around, she could not find him. Her violet eyes darted left and right, there was a slight pause of anxiety when she could not find him, "[censored]! Where did he go?" she was frantic, her holy dipped Katana fending off several blades at once as she searched the nearby area. Narrowing her eyes she caught a glimpse of the scout in the middle fo the battlefield with the Boss of the Quest.

    "No..." she uttered as she took to the winds as quickly as the game mechanics would allow her. She came to skidding stop when she was in front of the Commander of the Army. Narrowing her eyes, the NPC laughed and readied his blade, "You'll have to get--" Opal seized the moment and with seven articulate sweeps of her blade, the NPC frozen in horror was dismembered much like his troops before scattering to the winds. However there was a horde of elven warriors coming in on her, "Itzal!!! I'll be there in a moment! Don't do anything stupid!" She shouted over the war cries of the Elven Soldiers. She had to make quick work of them soon, or else...

  11. Opal was struck sometimes by the Crimson Maiden, even ventured a kiss on her cheek. The hell was that all about? Opal stood there without a movement or twitch of her muscle. She was hit with a stunning sword art, that was pretty much how this would go down. If you can take away their evasion, player's were pretty easy to hit. But it seemed @Morgenstern had slipped a little, or perhaps he was too nervous to strike her. Opal's eyes twitched momentarily, "You give a player killer from an infamous guild like Laughing Coffin, sympathy? When you are in a duel, you go all out or you face the consequences of that actions. This game is life and death, even in a friendly duel moods can swing, and tempers could rise. You are a fool to allow needless honor to cloud your judgement. If you do not strike your opponent when the opportunity is in sight, then they will come after you with everything they got! Don't be such an idealist!"

    Opal still suffered from Teayre's stun, until it would be her turn in the rotation. Till then, Opal kept her eyes on Morgenstern. He needed to learn that people were not like him, some people had no hearts, had no sympathy and they would fight dirty if it meant survival. She shot @Teayre a glance, she knew above all else what it meant to fight as hard to protect yourself and how hard to fight to kill someone. @Bhairyuu, although a novice had a bit more bronze and struck Opal in her shoulder. She gifted him with a smile even though a slither, if not less, trickled off her HP bar.

  12. The Ents seemed pretty gung-ho on this war. Opal could only stare in disbelief as they came up to a small valley where they were starring down hundreds if not thousands of Elvish Warriors compared to the larger, yet only a handful of the Ents. Although they were fewer in numbers, with the power of Opal on their side, it quickly became a one sided war. Even if they were just NPCs, mobs were still deadly in the bunches. She looked to @Itzal and nodded her head. I'll take care of the small fry until we get to the Generals. They'll be a bit beefier and I can contain them easier one on one since I lost my stun aoe in the update. Until then, just stay behind me and watch out for the stragglers."

    As the mighty elven horns sounded off, there was a charge and inspiration to the elves as they took to the winds. Opal sighed and flicked the hair from her eyes and bolted forward across the field, her Maiden's Kiss, a weapon she had not used much in battle was now singing with fury as the tip of the Holy Blade lit up. A white aura quickly whipped around the blade as she pushed off with her feet into a frenzy. <<Charge>> activating and she swept the blade with both hands side to side several times before clearing a path for the others. She had quickly took down the three of them but there numbers were still vast, and she would push on to fight the more difficult troops and soldiers. However, she would not forget Itzal in the back, he was steadily keeping pace with her, "Don't take on more than you can chew, Kid."

  13. "Sure. We can call it just that. A coincidence." Opal had said with a simple smile, however, she was here for a purpose altogether differently than one would expect her to be. She was actually scoping the lower floors to be sure there were no player killers in the area. She had noticed Coffin members liked to pick apart the newbies for easy kills and if she could persuade them to attack on the higher floors, perhaps she could save a few of them for the day. She had to bite the bullet when the order came though, when she needed to give a kill order. It was a darkness and a stress that always seemed to choke her around the neck, she knew she was no better than the orange players killing others themselves.

    Blinking a few times the woman seemed to come back towards the present time with Itzal standing there, "If you want to get in on the action, make sure I have enough Hate on me so you aren't focused on by the enemy. If I have to babysit for another reason because you felt heroic, I would slap you so hard across the face if you survived. But that's fine, if you wish to help, you may do so when I say it is ok to do so and not beforehand." The woman took a step forward and narrowed her eyes at him with a small glint, "Even Scouts will be a necessary tool for front liners. Just because you are choosing a passive path doesn't make you any less desirable. Anyways, let's go hunt some elves."

  14. The silver strands of hair caught the breeze as she lifted her hand to keep the rogues frays out of her eyes. She looked over her shoulder when her name was called out by the Pugilist. She gave off a warm smile and simply nodded at him before turning around, "Grave, you never lost me to begin with." She placed her hand over her heart and squinted with a low smile before moving away from him once more. She turned her head once more over her shoulder with a smile, a hand raised in the air waving him goodbye. There was a lot said about today's scene. Opal was definitely in a conflicted state of mind and there was a lot riding on her future. Yet she had to persevere if she wanted to accomplish her goals.

    Those goals were however dangerous paths that she would have to tread lightly on. Laughing Coffin was no laughing matter despite their chilling name. She had to be precise and she had to make sure whatever she was going to do it would not jeopardize everyone else. But she believed in the Knights, she believed in the purity of Aincrad. She had to believe in them, or else this fight was worth nothing and her betrayal would mean nothing. Of course, she would have to do what is needed. There was a bigger picture. People didn't realize this, and only saw the surface of her plights. They would not be wrong in judging her as she had judged others. That was how things were...that's how it will always be.

  15. Opal's eye flicked back at her side when she heard the familiar voice of Teayre. She gave a shrug, "You are more than welcome to do so if you want to." As the woman was talking she heard the pounding slosh of snow beneath the player's feet. One by one they came at her with full swings but her steps were more precise than their blows. The woman was able to dodge through them easily enough and simply smiled raising her blade upwards and deflecting the blows easy enough.

    "Not too bad, you guys did pretty well on that attack. A little slow, but not bad all the same. Remember that a Boss Raid is not going to go easy on you, you need to be sure of your attacks. If you can't find an opening, then you need to try and make one. Stunning someone will remove their Evasion like mine. So try to hit me with a stunning sword art." The woman twisted her wrist and her blade once more lifted up at chest level. The long Masamune was looking down at the players and she stood there with a small smile on her face, "Alright, try it again. A little more effort this time, yeah?"

  16. It didn't take Opal long to notice the brunette leader of that one guild he was from. After meeting him twice, she knew him to be of sound mind and even pushed to find him as an acceptable and possible friend. She cleared the air with him the other night, well, whatever night and whatever day that so happened to be on. However she did notice the mighty large Oak tree come to life in this particular forest. Itzal had engaged in conversation with it, and Opal had no idea there was a quest in this area as well. Shows you how much she ventured to the lower floors and not knowing everything that goes on.

    She looked on her right foot and folded her arms over her chest as the two engaged in the quest conversation. Her violet eyes looked left and right as they rolled from the talking duo and into the vast emptiness of the trees. She did notice quite a bit of the elves becoming more dangerous in the area, perhaps it was because of this quest objective? Soon the conversation had dwindled and Itzal was free of the dialogue. Taking a step forward, the woman let her arms swing back to her sides and she smiled behind him, "Looks like you are in need of some help. I overheard you talking to the Ent. So it seems there is a little war going on with the elves and the ents, which is a little odd. But its whatevs, right? So here is the deal. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and taking down the elves, but I need some help acquiring materials. You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours. Do we have an accord?"

  17. "As nightmarish as it seems, Baldur makes an obvious point. We lack tanks, but its not only tanks, but we also lack premium strength. With only two teams, we have twelve members. And we are forgetting this is floor nineteen, we are a floor below twenty which will eventually break the tier 2 standards. We need to keep this battle for heavy hitters and frontliners with high levels. It's admirable that our guests would like to participate, but we run the risk of their lives if we allow more to enter this battle. It will have to be balanced and reserved for those who can handle hits as well as dish them out. Glass cannons are not a good choice for this battle, an AoE hits and you might as well kiss your life goodbye."

    Opal took her foot off the wall and moved towards the central room brushing one of the many rogue strands of hair from her face from the loose bun on the top of her head, "We are making progress but we can't just push forward into this boss battle. Its the top echelon of tier two Boss Raids. High mitigation, high damage, possibly area of attacks where a Tank might not be enough. If we do a group of three, everyone and I mean everyone needs to have a full slot of the best healing crystals they can acquire for personal use and for team heals. I know we are so close to twenty, but perhaps we should take some time and build our supplies and come back with another meeting in another week or two. There is no last minute grinding, we can't simply rush to kill a boss because we are so close to hitting twenty. We could lose lives if we don't do this the smart way."

  18. "Something so massive is going to be capable of doing a lot of damage to a lot of people. So I am guessing it won't be just a tank and spank Boss Raid. Even if the Tanks get all the hate, the area of attack hits everyone in the party and if its massive then its gonna be clumsy and slow. So we might get a few extra turns in before it unleashes some kind of massive strike. Its a theory of course. Also for it being a stone type Raid Boss, I don't think bleed and poison attacks are gonna be very efficient. We might need pure and unrestrained damage to break through its mitigation."

    Opal had arrived late to the meeting, but she had gathered what was said at the time from the found of the Boss Room; Macradon. She wore a simple pair of garments, nothing battle ready. A simple pair of black slacks, a t-shirt and her silver hair up in a bun tied with a black lace. She stood there and didn't take a seat as the others had. She had nostalgic feelings about being here in the Guild Hall after so much has happened. With the death of Azide and her betrayal, Opal was an unknown force to be contended with. After showing up to the last raid meeting and mouthing off to the front liners, the woman took a step back in her direction and her ability to get under the skin of the players.

    And now with a few people here knowing what her true motives were, she could not help but feel self violated from giving them so much information. However, soon came the unlocking of the next few floors. She had to be sure to survive that if she wanted to break down the Laughing Coffin from the inside. Until then, she would just be subtle and help where she could without making it seem like she was just flip flopping on sides of morality. At least she could once again gain their trust. The activity she showed in the last boss raid, getting the final blow and releasing the item into Takao's hands. Sure, she could have used that weapon and she was also reamed for giving it away. The smack of Sensui's hand had still lingered on her cheek where she subconsciously rubbed it, thinking about the events just an hour before the meeting had started.

    The woman's gaze fell from everyone else as she leaned against the wall, she had said her thoughts, but now here's were placed elsewhere. Once again, she touched her cheek and thought of that man's abusive words and hand to her. She was dipping into a scenario where no one was going to trust her and she stressed over that.

  19. She narrowed her violet eyes at the two with the slightest of smirks, they looked rather uncomfortable teaming up as partners. This sure would be interesting, but in the end, this was something you had to do in the front lines as well. Sometimes teams would switch and you'd be placed where the 'superiors' would like you to be. Sometimes you would be paired with a player that is below average, or perhaps someone you didn't like at all.

    Opal nodded at Bhairyuu's introduction, "Alright, so the Pervert has a name. Good on you. Well then, since I am a little high on the levels, I'll let you both attack first. That seems befitting of the handicap you both are in. So then..." Opal took a moment to see the counter winding down to just five seconds left to go. She flicked her blade off her shoulder and held it a-loft with both hands in a side turned stance. The blade dipped down to the level of her chest and pointed it towards the two budding players.

    "Ready. Set." her black grin wide; "Go!" This was not going to be a duel to see who wins, but rather if they can be faced against an adversary and not buckle down from the pressure of it. Boss Raids were going to test your courage and will to survive, that meant getting up in the face with a murderer and rampaging NPC who cared not if you lived or died. With something so bold as that coming at you, you had to be ready to face your fears of dying and be able to do what is necessary to make your stand.

    Ah. Well, I hope to not stay a newb for very long xD Just gotta do a few socials so I'm strong enough to do a few quests.

    If you ask around, I am sure there are plenty of people willing to carry you through the easy quests for the SP. Also @Itzal has a good Guild going on that you might be interested in. They seem to be helping players move through levels and getting to the front lines if thats your goal. Its a long way to 25, even longer with 50 and Tier 3 just around the corner. But dont let that get ya down! Always RP for the fun. xp

    Really? That'd be cool! Love to establish some friends for Cyn whenever :)

    Also, are Katana girls rare here or something? O.O

    So far, me and Teayre are the only High Leveled ones. There might be few newbies running around with katanas, but I think we hold the anchor right now as far being known for our long bladed weapons.

  22. The slew attacks came from the Spectrum Coalition. Much like their namesake, vibrant colors of the sword arts shot out in the darkness of the lair.
    Malethis who was fixed on Calrex, the Ultrimarine Tank, could not deviate its focus on him. The amount of Hate accumulated between him and the rest were insignificant. This had allowed for ample time to attract and attack. With the brimming of colors from the players in the Guild, Opal smiled inwardly knowing full well this was a good team to perhaps help lead Aincrad into Tomorrow. But she was unsure if the group itself could work with a Wild Card like Teayre. However the woman was showing promise at becoming docile in nature once again. Perhaps there was some kind of redemption for her to follow, so be it, it was under the domination of Calrex acting as her anchor through it all. People needed one another...But Opal.

    She looked down at her feet while the explosive attacks rung through her ears, the sounds of the many being drowned out as she looked at her Familiar Jaken, "Master Opal?" his words drowned out by the combat, all she saw was his little mouth move to speak. She flicked her violet eyes back at Malethis as Teayre unleashed the final strike. Or so she thought it was. An opening with the opponents staggered. Opal clenched her fists around the hilt of her Masamune X. Het feet began to move, her mind swelling from the heat of battle.

    A massive roar and a flick of her wrist and so begun the annihilation of the beast of the lair. Violet hues wrapped around the blade, humming with power and Opal shot forward with a battle cry. The long blade had begun to sweep left and right across the beast. Orange cross slash marks filling its hide as one after another began to break down the defense of the beast before it finally shattered. When it was all said and done, Opal was in a state of mild euphoria as the snarling of Malethis gave out its last grunt before burning away into the air in pixels. Her eyelashes fluttered before receiving a pop up of the Bonus and she swept it away without even knowing what it was.

    Her eyes turned to the rest of the Coalition. She bowed her head to each one of them before passing over to Takao. "Your leadership through the many battles have been spot on. You have been able to keep your cool and you even allowed someone like me to help join you. With a selfless desire to actually help players like you did by standing up and putting your own life at risk for my ex Guild Members...You have no idea how much that means to me. I am greatful. This is no by means an appropriate thank you for the lives you saved today, but a token of my gratitude...for whatever it is worth."

    Opal opened her menu and sent the Last Hit Bonus to Takao as a trade. She turned to the others in the Boss Raid, "Another win. Another step closer to getting the hell out of here."
