  1. It was an an uneffective crafting session for the Wicked Witch of Aincrad and she stirred her boiling cauldron. She leaned over her smoldering and bubbling pot of green liquid and scrunched her nose at the slightest scent that wafted her way. Taking several steps back she made a horrible noise from the wretched smell waving her hand over her face to dissipate the ghastly aroma. Shaking her head several times, the woman drew back to her working table and sighed placed the spoiled items in a bunch. Out of the creations she made, only one of them was of any use while the others seemed to lack any identifiable use, unless you want an odd shaped paper weight for something or another. The busty woman gave a mental shrug and began to mark the items as necessary.

  2. Curved Blade going into katana? Another Katana Sister would be cool. Me and Teayre are the powerhouse girls right now in Katanas. Anywho, welcome to the website, the forums and the community! Im in a sticky spot with my character IC, but we might be able to meet up in an OP or something down the line. Hope you have fun!

  3. "Tank Paladin? Hm, you must be from the same guild as @Itzal then. I remember him saying something about Paladins in his guild. And if you are a tank, your skills will be greatly appreciated in the Front Lines once you get strong enough. You seem like a pretty sturdy player, that's good. Have you practiced tanking a lot? It is a different feeling when you tank for a team in a Boss Raid. You have a huge responsibility on your shoulder and it can get very stressful. It's good to have the skills, but you need the mental capacity for it as well."

Opal smiled and gave Bhairyuu a look over as well, "I don't know your name. So I am just gonna call you Pervert for the time being." A smidgen of a grin on her face as she said that. She'll find out his name soon enough. But for the most part the woman placed her hands behind her back and looked at them both thoughtfully and nodded her head mentally towards herself, "I do have my reasons for being in such a guild. But I assure you, I am not a player you need to worry about. Well, since you both seem like strapping young lads. How about we have ourselves a nice little duel. You two vs me. We'll do it right here in the safezone, since we won't lose any HP from the combat and I'll restrict myself to rank 3 sword arts."

Opal took a moment to take a step back, "Besides, it'll help me get me warmed up after taking all those snowballs to the face. You guys were pretty relentless on such a delicate flower like myself, I gotta get you back somehow." With a black smile curling up, the woman began to switch up her equipment so that the fight wouldn't be so one sided. A high level player such as herself had the HP advantage against the two of them combined, but she would hold back and not use her sword arts that could cause too much damage against them.

"Alright, I am all set up here...Here comes the challenge, just let me know when you are ready."

Opal had sent out the two warriors a half loss duel challenge after she had fixed up her equipment. The items around her body began to shimmer as her figure changed into a more battle ready state, along with the massive Katana known as the Masamune clutched in one hand. The massive seven foot blade now resting over her shoulder as she eyed her opponents with a small twinkling smile.

  4. The woman placed  her hand over his own and smiled back and shook her head, "No. I can't possibly be seen with you any longer than I have now. We both are on different paths of a road that will soon become blood stained with the many. At the very moment, Laughing Coffin is procuring many territories around Urbus creating a sort of shady market area within the western side of the district. You will have to find dungeons with the Knights, you all need to get stronger and help out in the front lines. It is a dangerous time now, but even so, you need to be protecting yourselves. There is still a lot of information I need to gather before I begin to put my plans into actions." The woman once more swept hair from her face as to brush away the violet, stubborn fly aways.

She took a step forward, his hand now falling limp from her shoulder. She turned to him with a half smile, it was the best she could do for him, "But before we break to our separate ways. I need you to give something to Mack when you see him again. He had given me this item a long time ago in a deterrent to curve my flirtatious ways from other men. It was a gift I found to be something special, because I still look up to him. I hope he proves to be a wise Vice Commander, I know he can be hard on people. But I want you to return this Hoya Necklace to him and to tell him I won't forget his generosity for allowing me to join the Crimson Blades and that I will find out the truth behind Lindow's death. Can you do that for me, Grave?"

The woman titled her head down as the screen of her menu appeared before her hand. She scrolled through her list of items and revealed the Hoya Necklace, to her it was a yellow diamond that hung right above the hollow part of her chest. The trinket item swung back and forth as it appeared in her hand and she placed it in Grave's hand.

"I wish we could chat some more, but its already dangerous for the both of us. You keep Jevi safe. You are a Knight, a Protector. Continue doing just that." Her eyes slowly shifted towards the ground, "Good luck, Grave."

  5. Not many of us are into the welcoming of new members (We see a lot of people come and go in the first week). We usually welcome one another through Role Plays more often than not rather than these welcome threads. Hopefully that is not too much of a turn off for ya. I rather get to know a person through their character and create a bond that way. :)

But anyways, dont let the lack of "hi! and welcome!" to the site be a deterrent for you. So hopefully you stick around and RP with us. :)

  6. Opal heard the whisper flutter into her ear, so the woman was so wracked with pain that she sought death as an easy escape for her sins and punishment. Opal stood up and clutched the Masamune X in her hand and turned towards the Crimson Maiden, "I did not receive word from either of them in awhile. I tend not to cluck with the masses as to keep my motives safe and secret. If you desire to die so much, you can freely walk off a cliff as many other suiciders have done. I'd take your life as well, but I have given Calrex my word that I would let him deal with you."

The woman lifted her sheathed katana and struck the ground with it to lean over as she looked over at Teayre, "Yes. I do pity and feel sorry for you. You may not want or desire such things, but people make their own choices in life. But there are consequences to those choices as well as actions. Such as me letting a player like you go free. How many times will a player smile in a way that makes you think of your Father. Even in death he still has control over you, you will never have control of yourself until you get closure. Until you forgive him, because it is so difficult to forgive the people that hurt you." Opal shrugged once more.

"Our conversation is over though. I have judged you according to your words, because in my world; black and white are all that matter to me. I don't muddy things up with what ifs. If you decide to kill again and I will find out, I'll be coming for you; no exceptions this time. I am taking a chance and allowing your soul to be saved by your husband. He told me he is pointing you towards Boss Raids as penance for your sins, making you risk your life for the Front Lines as to atone. I believe it would be easier to remove you altogether, because I don't know if letting a chain monster like you lose will be a good idea in the future. But you are down to your last strike, Missy. I'll be keeping all of my eyes on you."

The Masamune X wielder drew in a deep breath and exhaled slowly through her mouth, "If there is nothing else, we should part ways. I doubt we have anything else left to say to one another."

  7. Opal could not recall the name Keith and merely shrugged her shoulders of the association. It sounded like someone she could respect on the same level as herself, but old faces and old memories were not something she really care much for. The player who Tearye had made mention of; disappeared which meant nothing to her. Another face gone, that's all that it was. Perhaps she subconsciously took up the sigil from former Pkkers and was just attempting to put things back on track in this world. She knew there were others but on what level and scale? Would her name be used in past tense when stories of Opal would be mentioned? Or would she continue to live and breathe, fighting to protect this world and serve it concrete justice?

The woman, clearly opposite of Teayre showed no further discomfort while sitting there. She nearly nodded in response to her story, beginning with her father and the heinous crimes he had committed towards his own daughter. Again, Opal nodded no more than that, her facial expression remained stoic and silence as she continued. It was an eye for an eye, and Opal could respect that from the woman.

"To have so much anger for one who has done such things. An eye for an eye is one thing. Having all that anger and hatred from him. I am not one to step into a family affair, that is none of my business." Opal noticed the woman having pin prick tears at the corners of her eyes. Opal remained stoic and expressionless, emotionless even for this woman in front of her. Opal shifted and brought a hand over her face sweeping the long white hair from her eyes as she over looked a field of players now who seemed to be milling about and going about their own business.

"I would say I feel sorry for you if that is all that has happened to you. But the reality and the scope is, your hate seemed to be fueled by something even greater than just your father. Because you came to virtual worlds to hide from the torment. Now then, what about the others?" Opal finally looked back at the Crimson Maiden, her violet eyes were cold and merciless as she slowly narrowed them.

"Let's not forget the torment you have placed on others. You have not only killed your father, but your path of hate has continued to mow down others. People who have been on the frontlines, players that could have helped saved others from people like your father. Instead, you decided to continue to hate. It was not enough to just kill the man, or the memory. You had to replace anger with more anger and sorrow. So it seems torment is a Family Business. Teayre, did you admire your father so much that you need to act like him now? The lives you have taken, what were those people to you? Manta Gaul and Ebony Rose. Do you think people would not come find you out to exact their revenge for their fallen comrade? Is this what everything is about? Your hate for your father? You can't contain it, so you expel it upon others so others would have to feel your sorrow?"

Opal shook her head, a dozen questions more harsh than the next. But she was relentless, perhaps attempting to draw out the monster from herself. But every name taken from the Monument of Life, was a sin and a player that needed to be avenged. Opal too had taken life, her hands were deep in as much blood. But she was not a stone cold killer, she needed to believe that. But she couldn't believe that from Teayre, "All I see in front of me is a cold blooded murderer. I could accept the fact that you killed your father because he did such heinous things to you. And that it is a family affair, an eye for an eye. But the others, they were not justified kills. You sank your blade into them and slayed them." Opal looked away, "I'm not here because I want to be, I am here under my own obligations to make sure people like you don't torment and hurt people like them. Those who laugh and smile. The world needs more of that, it is hard enough to find it these days without killers like us mudding things up for them. I can't save everyone, but I can try. And if it means putting down a rabid dog, then I'll be more than happy to stain my hands over and over again. Life is precious, all of it is. But sometimes you need to save the monsters from other monsters. I'm not saying I am without sin." The woman shrugged, "But I can't simply overlook what you have done either. I am leaving it to Calrex to maintain order with you. But he loves you too much to kill you, he said so himself that he was selfish. I'm just going to give you a warning. If you ever attempt to take life from another player without justified reasoning, not even Calrex will be able to stop me. Do yourself a favor and don't be the woman your father was."

Opal sat there, her words were harsh perhaps to an extent unnecessary. She was judging her, she had to, that was her calling. But she needed Teayre to understand what kind of pain others would be put in if she continued down this hellish path of destruction. She would kill more and more if she wasn't stopped, and Opal knew...there could be some change in her if she fought hard to change, but it all started with the self. No one can change a person, it doesn't work like that. You have to want to change; to change.

  8. The long haired woman narrowed her eyes at Bhairyuu as he commented on the view. Even when she had a thick garment on like the black turtleneck, it was pretty obvious her curves were still standing out from the rest of her body. She instinctively pushed harder on his chest when he had made the comment, her boot digging into his chest. However, the others didn't seem to care much for the fallen comrade and Morgenstern was clearly ready to go all out for war. Several Snow balls were launched from the player, causing the woman to stumble back as she was pelted with the cold globes of snow. Her body shivering heavily as she had to move away from the downed player and her trophy,  but it came from below her as well as he seemed to have been gathering snow in his little downed state.

The woman cursed heavily feeling the cold and burdening snow strike her frame. She was nailed several times in the back as she attempted to retreat behind some trees. Her body was wrecked with almost nearly frozen snow as she began to dust off her body off with cold fingers giving everything a quick gentle pat. She was outnumbered and they seemed to have enjoyed themselves for the most part which was the main idea here. Taking in a deep breath, the woman took a quick peek out of her little tree and quickly darted back behind it as a flurry of snow balls pelted her cover.

"Alright! Alright!" the woman waved with one hand behind her tree, "You guys win! White flag! Truce!" she waved her arm back and forth in mock white flag style to let them know she had surrendered.

The woman stepped away from her private tree protector and breathed heavily as she gathered her thoughts. She returned the front of the members and brought a single hand down towards Bhairyuu for him to get up, to express there was no hard feelings. With the male player on his feet, she gave a quick smile and a nod. "Some of you might know who I am others here probably do not. As was mentioned earlier, I am Opal. I would say its a pleasure to meet you all, but that's stretching things a bit. I am also the very same Opal of Laughing Coffin." Her violet eyes narrowed slightly giving them each a look before continuing on.

"You should take more precautions when you send out these mass messages to people. Members of my association might find this an opportunity to slay another in the chaos of the party. That is why I am here, so something like that won't happen. But I can't keep an eye on you all forever. Just be careful when you create events like this and allow anyone to come. Green players can be just as dangerous as an Orange Player, and tactics for persuading a person out of the safezone is something Laughing Coffin does quite easily. But it is good to see you all enjoying yourselves, I actually had a quite bit of fun. What else do you guys have planned for this evening?"

  9. "Is he seriously calling me a Kitty?" Opal thought underneath a large snow mound. Her hands were cold and she was nearly chattering her teeth as a strong gust of wind and snowflakes blew past her. She knew how to warm things up however. Her eyes were set on @Bhairyuu, the player calling her out as she sat there for a moment. When his back was turned...She began her slow jog, then she burst into speed with her <Charge>. With a 'meow' she jumped from a distance towards him. Both her legs were bent back as her body fell ontop of him and straddled his down like a bull at a rodeo. Her black lips curled then she began to shovel snow into his face.

"Hahaha! I got-chu! Now you gotta say that I am the Greatest Snow-Baller ever! Say it loud so everyone can hear you..." the woman placed both hands down on his chest and looked around, the others were not too far off. She could easily be pelted by snowballs if they wanted to take her down. Her violet eyes narrowed, and her plump black lips curved into a grin.

"I got your buddy here as a hostage," Opal was breathing pretty heavily at this point, her busty chest going up and down as she looked down @Bhairyuu, she gave him a small grin, "Keep your hands where I can see them, Buddy. Just because I am on top does not mean this is any kind of foreplay." The woman shot her head around and slowly got back to her feet but she kept a boot on his chest, "Which one of you brave soldier boys wants to rescue this poor soul? He is my prisoner and I get to do anything I want with him." Her lips curled into a smile again as she beamed down at him, "Anything I want." before her eyes flicked back at the others.

"Unless someone wants to take his place. How about you? Pretty boy with the blonde hair?" Opal laughed smearing the frosted snowflakes from her face with the back of her sleeve. She wondered how far she could take this little game without it becoming too serious. Did they even know who she was?

  10. Opal had watched from her little corner of the shadows as her team members as well as the others slowly started to nick away the massive health pool of the Raid Boss. Malethis was no push over though, with his regenerative abilities afloat from the corrosive pools, it was likely they'll have to stick this out longer than planned. However, it was time for Opal to make her strike. She was ridiculed at the meeting for not doing anything in the last boss raid, while those words irked her, she put her feelings aside for the greater scheme of things.

However, the only way to go about this was with a bang. The woman shifted through the darkness, Malethis who was constantly on guard from the Hate of the Tanks did not suspect the woman sneaking up on his rear. The many eyes began blinking as if to try to find the reason for the odd scent in the air. But even with its dozens of eyes, it could not locate her. With her smile darkening, she ripped through the very fabric of the shadows and roared out towards Malethis.

Finally she had appeared before him, or to his rear! She mounted the creature on his back and laughed stabbing his flesh with her blade to use as a steering wheel to drive him into the wall. "Oh damn, I know a few mechanical bulls who are much more aggressive than you are!" Finally the Raid Boss had enough of this torment and her body swung off his shaggy hide. In the air she twisted and turned, only to find her feet hitting the floor and bounding back sending slash after slash through its eyes. Every strike of her blade targeted one of those many blinking eyes until it was swollen shut from the <San Ge> sword art. Opal found herself back into the corner of Malethis small little lair, but it seemed even though she had struck a blow, the hate was back on Calrex.

  11. There was a blank expression on Opal's face when she heard the roaring of the random player. She did not think her aim was so good as to soak his mid section like that. Her facial expression elated and changed into a mischievous kitty when she was hit with another barrage of snow balls. With the fresh powder staining her clothes, the woman took a moment to hide behind her little tree and brush off the coldness. Her fingers felt raw and numb from the constant brushing of the snow from her body, and she too was starting to feel the effects of dampness against her skin. Shivering lightly, the woman dropped down to the ground where she was. Her expression changed into one of silence as drove her body into the shadows of the massive snow mounds that were created from the lofty flakes.

In her stealth prowling ninja cat like pose, the woman moved like that of a panther as she ducked and weaved into the shadows. She would get payback on that man who had yawped at her. She was gathering snow in her hands and knew just the way to get him back. Oh yes, if she would not be seen, she would pounce on her victim and stuff as much snow in his face as possible until he screamed she was the Master Snowballer (ahem). Therefore, Opal stayed to the shadows as she rounded the corners of the snow mounds keeping her body out of sight. With the lack of snow balls being tossed, perhaps they would think she had given up on them both.

    --

Notes: Opal is stealthed: LD: 20+ (Since she is wearing black I wont take the full stealth bonus). If after a round, no one spots Opal, she will pounce on @Bhairyuu and dump a ton of snow on him.

  12. She let out a small, girlish noise emit from her mouth as she attempted to dodge the oncoming blitz from the two players. One ball had smacked her right into her bosom, which made her even colder than she already was, the next flew right by her cheek grazing her skin enough to feel the chunks of snow give way. "Two against one? And against a woman? Have you no decency?" The woman had a small pile of the snow globes gathered around and chucked another one at both @Morgenstern and @Bhairyuu. Her fingers were tingly and cold from the sensation of running them through the cold snow, but she was close from being numb in the joints.

Opal had taken refuge behind a tree after her last two lobs towards the male players. However, she wouldn't count out their lack of accuracy for much. She would be open for attack as soon as she was spotted coming out and lobbing a few extra snow balls. Of course, there didn't seem to be too many enjoying her idea. Getting the idea, she ended up deciding to launch as many <Snow Balls> as possible at everyone in the vicinity and hope to get them into the game as well. Nothing like some down time before  Boss Raid, and nothing like feeling like a kid again.

  14. Opal nodded to her friend, brought an arm up and waved to him as she turned her head. Before taking a step forward, the woman took a moment to gather what had happened this night. There were people she cared about, not even knowing their name and sacrificing herself to save these people. She was unsure how to feel about that, but it made her warm and gave her a passion and reason to keep going. She turned on her heel and formed a 'gun' with her hand and fingers before pointing it to the dark sky above, "Blam! Take care of yourself, Cowboy." She then walked away, leaving him to his own thought and only after inducing that was an incredibly cheesy and corny gesture she did with the hand.

She gave herself a mental shrug and moved towards the teleport plaza. Giving a final wave to the Paladin before disappearing into a shield of light and transported to the lower floor of Nimbus. There were many thoughts now surrounding her, but having that talk tonight made everything else more concrete. Her resolve was once more solidified.

  15. "With that orange crystal floating over your head, you stick out like a sore thumb." The voice was familiar yet the sun was casting down on the female only creating a dark, unfamiliar face. It was until Opal took a moment to collect her thoughts, she was armed with her Masamune X, but she was not here to pick a fight with Teayre.

"We need to talk," the woman said finally sitting down beside the Crimson Maiden. She brought her feet up close before finally relaxing in the grass and placing her sheathed weapon to the side. "I spoke with Calrex a little while ago, and he has assured me you are not as careless as your crystal makes you out to be. I need to break words with you on why I joined Laughing Coffin. A killer knows a killer, they could see it in their eyes the moment they meet. Those who have taken a soul and dragged their very being through the gallows. We each share that, but we are also very different than one another. Teayre. I am a Player Killer Killer, I am not sure if that is a normal term or not, but I avenge those who have fallen wrongfully. I plan to remove all the orange from this world in order to protect the people. It might sound like a selfish and impossible goal, but while I have been in Laughing Coffin, I have been able to attain knowledge of their hideouts, the Leader and his Generals so to speak. Eventually will come a time when I destroy them, and after that...I will come hunt down people like you."

There was a coldness in her voice, yet she she bit back on her anger, "I sometimes talk too much, sometimes I talk too little. I like to deceive players, because its easy to use them as tools where needed. But Calrex, he is a friend and he showed some backbone and even went as far as showing me what he is capable of doing. However, his weakness is you. Should you act like a Monster, I don't think he could kill you. He has too much love for you, and that is selfish of him. And that is where I step in."

Opal's violet colored eyes skimmed over the surface of her Masamune and then back at Teayre, "Help me understand why you are an Orange Player. Tell me why you killed Manta and Ebony, tell me why you have chosen this path. Speak with honesty, because depending on your answers will create the outcome of your future as well as my own. I have all day to relax, so tell me your story." Opal finally looked at Teayre, dead in the eye. There was no friendly duel, no challenge. But she wanted to know Teayre and why she had chosen such a destructive and life takin' path.

    @Teayre

  16. A long squeaky yawn rolled from Opal as she had stretched her arms high into the sky. The chilly night combined with some wisdom exchange gave her plenty to delve into her mind on what to look forward into the future. It was because of people like Itzal that she wanted to protect these people and what made her fight as hard as she did. Eventually there would be a time where she too would have to face judgement from the masses. Taking the lives of friends, taking the lives of the enemies, all that for a peaceful tomorrow. Not once did she beckon her resolve to believe she was wrong, this was a justice that was demanded to be seen. Hurt begets hurt, pain begets pain and death begets more death. This is a cycle that would never run dry, not when you consider humans to be the ideal of protection. Sometimes you have to kill the few to save the many, some of these people did not understand that and there very could possibly be another way. But until then, they had to be put down.

She lifted her body off that bench, her feet plopping to the ground as she gave a spin around to meet Itzal features. She gave a low smile and took a step forward, her arms unraveled from her figure as she gave him a small, yet tight hug, "You were a good friend tonight, someone I enjoyed speaking with. For someone such as random as a meeting between the two of us, you sure have surprised me. Continuing to live, that should be your mission."

The woman leaned back up and dropped her arms to the side, "There is a lot of days ahead for us in the future. A future though that is certain. We both gotta soldier on sometimes making the hard yet needed decisions in life. However, they have to be certain and set in stone and unshakable. The moment it breaks, the moment your ideals and everything you have done becomes nothing. I will remember that." The woman lifted her hand over her menu and squinted at the time.

"Time for bed, at least for myself. Remember Itzal, I need to walk away from you as an enemy. And I need to tell you, if I ever see you again, I will have no choice but to remove you from this world. But we both know the truth of what kind of person I am. Whatever you do, don't do anything stupid like killing another player." The woman turned her back to him and smiled, "I don't want to have to hunt down a friend."

  17. Opal had been in her casual attire when she got the message on floor four. There was a thick smile on her face, she enjoyed the colder floors much more so than the dry and humid ones and especially more so than floor five of the desert. She had been settled in her long black turtleneck sweater, a pair of tight black jeans and some boots. The rest of her body was adorned with small bits of jewelery which served no other purpose than looking pretty. However, she spotted several individuals coming together already.

Giving a mischievous chuckle, Opal scooped up a handful of the fresh powder and packed it tight into a ball. Her smile never ending as she chose her target, anyone would do of course but who. The faces were unfamiliar, which meant she didn't know most of these people. She took in a small breath and held it in as she narrowed her eyes, her <Reveal> skill activating to get a better look at the players and then she launched her <Snow Ball> at @Bhairyuu, hitting him square in the back of the head. She laughed lightly to herself and scooped up another mound of it, packed it up and launched another <Snow Ball> @Beatbox

"You boys look like you are having too much fun standing around to be target practice." The woman scooped up another handful and packed it up tight, "Who wants to start up a snowball fight?" She continued packing snowballs in her little space as she eyed the two men and the others, "If you don't wanna play..." she narrowed her eyes slightly, "I'd advise you move out of the way..." Her grin stretched ear to ear as she got ready to launch another <Snow Ball>

  18. "There is no other choice in the matter. It would be better to risk only myself rather than those I am striving to protect from the guild. I would not wish to put the stress on a frontliner player for they should die at the hands of a Coffin Member, what exactly is my job? And I would not bring someone who is not outfitted in the right levels to join my Crusade either, for the same reasons. I am not doing this to be selfless, but rather being selfish. This is my fight, and my Oath has been declared a long time ago that I would not involuntarily bring someone to harm." The woman had begun her statement on his previous question. Her eyes never drifted back to him as she explained her personal Crusade. In truth, only some of what she said was true. She wouldn't mind the help from others, but this was more for revenge with a cause sort of reason. There was a taint on her soul left by this Player Killer organization and each one of them had to pay dearly for the transgressions they have made upon her body.

She looked back at Itzal briefly with a sweet smile, "But I did promise I would be careful. I will be fully prepared for when the hour strikes. And I promise, once I deal with them, we won't have to worry about Laughing Coffin much." She gave him a shallow shrug of her shoulders. She wasn't sure exactly how people would feel about her coming back as her previously instated self before this all happened. Before she was a careful woman within the ranks of the Knights. When she had betrayed them all, she had left her own taint on those people. To be forgiven of that would be a miracle in its own right, many would not understand, she might even have to end up killing some others along the way. But she brushed the side of her face, sweeping a rogue strand of hair away from her eyes.

"But you are forgetting one point. My fight will never be done, Itzal. So long as Orange Players roam, I will have a job to fulfil on exacting the revenge of the fallen. That is my current life right now. Taking down Laughing Coffin is but only step one, the Purge of Orange Crystals is a long and difficult road. I might end up killing more friends down the road because they have chosen a life of death. These things are inescapable for some players. Some fates are just sealed to be in solitude."

There were many things that lay heavy on her mind, it was a mission to cleanse the world of Orange Players, to instill such fear into people that they would never murder one another again. It could be done with the right power, she just had to get stronger and stronger. In a game of numbers, that's all that really mattered to anyone. Strength beyond strength. And her resolve was as hard as unweathered stone.

When he mentioned a duel, she blurted out a small laugh and her confidence and ego seemed to climb as she would boast, "You have some climbing to do if you ever wanna be a worthy challenge. New floors opening up soon, and that means all new tiers for us players fifty and above. However, should you ever wish to test your skills...I suppose I can tell you where you can find me. Unless you have the Tracking Mod, you can find me at Nimbus and Urbus. Urbus has a somewhat ghetto district to the west, you can usually find me drinking at the Drunken Serpent. Becareful of the Western District though, it is not friendly to people who's faces are unfamiliar. Green players who belong to other PK clans usually go there. Just be on your guard."

  19. Opal leaned back on the bench, propping her knee up to her chest as her arms wrapped around the joint as the other extended out. Her gaze had lingered on the line of the horizon until Itzal began speaking of the Knights, "There is still honor in that guild, at least I hope there is. But the world is constantly in a flux of change. Tomorrow's Aincrad can be different than today's. Which is why there needs to be a strong Guild now that can pave the way through the floors. I wanted the Knights to be that Guild that Aincrad could lean on in favor, but I suppose our ideals are too different than what they should be." With her hair in a tight bun, the woman lifted her hand and began to gently tug at the ribbon that was holding it all together.

With a small pull from the lace, the ribbon began to become undone from itself and the long flowing white hair sprawled out over her seated body. With one hand pulling at the long strands of hair, the woman shifted her body once more and smiled, "They have every right to be suspicious. Normally a member of the guild doesn't talk to players, rather to kill them. But I don't very much feel like playing the deceptive game right now, should they watch and listen they are free to do so. There is already growing suspicion of me being a traitor, but that'll be taken care of soon. They already have one leg in the grave, soon I'll just hammer in the last nail. I just need a little more time."

The woman balled her hand into a fist and then relaxed her digits. She was unsure of what to say next at this point. She just once more pulled a single leg up to her chest and hugged it there looking straight ahead. It was rare for her to be in company of others after playing the lone wolf for so long, it was difficult to transition between being Opal of the past with her current state of mind.

  20. Opal had stood resilient to his attacks until the last strike which notched her HP below the half loss margin. Her body affected by Paralysis eventually wore off as the duel had ended. Shifting her gaze, the woman lifted her hand and pushed the blade back into its saya around her belt and nodded to the player, "Seems like I owe you a glass of milk one day." The smirked, there wasn't much to say or do from this point on. The crowd that was had died down, and whatever was left was now just players relaxing openly in the field. Baldur has thanked her and that he had ended up learning something from their duel.

The woman shrugged, "I don't know what you have learned that is different, but I'm fine with that. Seems like the crowd has finally died down, not much left to do as I don't think there will be any kind of dance competition as was stated. I took care into creating this makeup too. Oh well, it can't be helped now. I suppose this is farewell, Baldur. You can find me in Nimbus or the Ghetto District of Urbus if you wish to cash in on your wager. " the woman shifted on her foot and brought a hand up to wave at him moving away from the gathered crowd. And soon enough her figure was gone, out of sight and out of mind.

    Opal has left the field.

  21. Her lips curled into a smile and she gave a small bit of a chuckle from his statement, "If you want those cookies so bad, you'll have to go through me first!" Her parrying blade had encountered his own. There was a spark of light between the two blades before she was dealt any real damage, her Kusangi acting as a syphon to draw in that extra damage. With her sword sweeping to the right of his blade, the woman pushed off her right foot. A step further into the ground and she ran into him with her blade cutting him along side the shoulder and darting him with the <Bleed> effect. With his body staggered, she went in for the assault.

The glow of her blade charged with an aura familiar of a violet pool of color. The blade plunged into his clothing sweeping across his ornate clothing. Her feet would move along with her blade in hand as she would cut him several more times. Along his clothing were the gash marks of her attacks, but it was not the bite of her blade that would be toxic to his health, but the unmitigated bleed effect that would soon sap him.

  22. "Yes, well that is what the Knights of the Blood Oath are. We, rather, they were never ones to be taken lightly. They were supposed to be a replacement for the Azure Brigade, and the way that things were going with that guild, we lost too many people due to horrible leadership. I believe Knights of the Blood could fill in that gap of leadership while maintaining the safety of the front lines. If they act snobbish, its because they have the right to do so. There is a lot of pride in that guild, you should be honored to wear the white and red."

The woman shifted her hands over her lap, a downcast gaze towards the ground as her fingers locked into place. Rogue white hairs shifted from her eyes as she looked off into the distance towards their Guild Hall, "I would have done anything to preserve their power and their command on the frontlines. Even if it meant destroying a guild like the Azure Brigade, which in the end, I had done. The power struggle is no longer there and I still have hope they continue doing what they are meant to be doing and that is clearing floors."

The woman left off a glowing smile as shifted back to Itzal, "I'm glad you have a strong unity with your guild. As I had said before, we need more tanks helping the fight on the floor raids. I'm not sure if you have come to a Boss Meeting before, but next time there is one you should come. It would be good experience to learn and understand how they do things. I was bit of a bitch in the last meeting, I let my nerves get the best of me and I had a lot of angry eyes looking at me. Some harsh words were exchanged as well...But mostly I did it because I am always being followed, I am always being watched by someone in Laughing Coffin. Don't worry, no one is here now eavesdropping." The woman cleared her throat. She wondered if Commander Heathcliff was still angry with her, she would like to make right to him one day and explain why she did the things she had done. But she also understood that forgiveness does not come easy. She took away close friends to people in this world. There will be vendettas, and she would have to worry about the consequences of her actions with each day passing.

  23. Opal was trapped in a maelstrom of attacks from the San Ge sword art, a sword art she was more than familiar with right now as she consistently used it as it was the Katana users most powerful attack. With her body swept over by his slashing blade, the female could do nothing more than accept the inevitable strikes which now struck her body with those consecutive hits. Orange marks glowed over her body, yet she remained unphased by the attack. There was a step backwards where she raised her arm and the blade parallel to her body once more taking up a Parry stance.

"You are a great deal stronger than I had thought you were previously. There is no doubt you will be groomed into a hardy frontliner. So with that being said, let's just enjoy this duel for what it is." Her foot slid apart from her body, creating a boxed stance. Her arms were steady as the garments hung loose around her wrist. Her pink smile showing over the porcelain facepaint that made up her Geisha colors.  She would show her patience and show her strength when it was needed. Baldur was an interesting person, he was very reminiscent of her Master Myoga, which is why she felt drawn to him as she was. Perhaps...She shook her head, eyes once more focused on the person ahead of her.

  24. "Batman? I suppose we have a lot of similarities in that regard. But I have, as you said, broken that golden rule of not to kill. Punishment such as death is a mercy given to those players. They deserve something far worse than that and I have done things far worse than killing a player. You can still torture players in this world. Our pain receptors are taken away, but the feeling of going mad remains. For people like me, you need to think outside of the box since pain is no longer a deciding factor. You have to know what other triggers a person will respond to given the right motivation."

The woman shifted her leg and stared blankly at the sky above her. Upon the bench seat close to the found, she allowed her head to tip backwards, there were so many stars that night. All of them seemed to be shining and twinkling just as they would in the real world. Itzal had spoken about friendship once more, or something there of. The lack of human interest seemed to be beneficial for her. The more people that were not involved, the more she would be able to protect. People enjoyed humiliating friends of others out of spite. It was a tactic in the Laughing Coffin, don't attack the body but attack the heart of the player. That'll create a pain that will be worse than anything else, it would make you wish you could feel pain.

Head shifting as she looked at Itzal and she simply nodded at him in response to his question. However she found it to be a little strange to confess her sins, so to speak, to a person she did not know very well. But all the same, he was nice enough to extend his hand not once but twice, "Perhaps in this world not everything is left up to chance, Itzal. Perhaps we are guided by the mystery of a fated road made for us to walk upon. I am uncertain of what are things to come, but I feel the wind of change is coming whether it's a good change or a bad one."

Her eyes looked to him, her soft features showing through the relaxed nature of her speech. She perked her body up a little, twisted her foot around and brought it to her chest as the other dangled from the bench by the fountain, "You spoke of a Guild. It would be better not to give me names of the players, but how is that going for you? You guys have a goal in mind and you have a base of operations yet? I used to be the Vice Commander of the Knights of the Blood Oath, back when it actually meant something. We were supposed to be something Aincrad needed to lean on in dire times. But it seems my goals for them had died when I left. They are nothing more but a shadow of its former self. But I am hearing good things from others. Right now what Aincrad needs is Iron Hope and a strong foundation to help carry the people forward in the future without losing that hope."
