  1. Vayrin sat alone in front of the fireplace within the bustling Inn. She had been staring at her menu, lazily scrolling through it with a rather bored, unimpressed expression. She really didn't have any idea what she had been doing on the first floor right now, but the day was getting late, and the Inn was just as good as any other she had been in, so she didn't think too much on it. The violet haired girl let out a frustrated sigh when she realized that her menu's options weren't going to be entertaining. She leaned back against the large couch sitting in front of the large fireplace as players and NPC's went about themselves as usual.

  2. "Hm?" She said as she continued to scratch her head, and she looked down in front of her see the notification. It was a friend request from this Macradon player. She stared at it for a moment, seeming hesitant to accept the request. She then lifted a finger and pressed the circle icon. The more friends she had the better, in SAO at least. She looked back up and took a moment to observe him. His armor and weaponry was very advanced compared to hers, and she couldn't help nut recognize the small red cross marks on them. She couldn't place the specific one, but she knew it was from a guild. Vayrin then shook the thought, seeing as she had been staring at him.

Player Vayrin has accepted your friend request

  3. "Uh..." Vayrin awkwardly scratched the back of her head. "No, not particularly..." She said again after a moment. She took a look around, to see if anyone else was in the area, and then turned back to the player. "I was just relaxing... And I guess I must've fallen asleep." She said again, giving a nervous smile. Vayrin then lifted a hand to shield her violet eyes from the setting sun far in the distance, which had been casting slight shadows among the two. Vayrin then proceeded to straighten her headband, which had shifted in her sleep. "Well... Any reason for um... Whatever you were doing?" She asked again, looking down at the folded robes her head had been lying a moment ago.

  4. Vayrin gave a slight sigh, and turned her body in the hunter's direction. "Should be in a large cave around here somewhere. Of course the exact location is unknown to me, just going off of my source..." She replied, still scrolling through her map. A moment later she closed it and looked up the trail. She nodded at Hiru and began walking up it. She just hoped that the two of them were strong enough to defeat it on their own. Hopefully her nimble stature would be able to out maneuver the monster's large attacks. The one thing she knew about this creature for sure was that it was MUCH larger then regular stone golem's she had been so used to fighting in the crater's between the mountains. Hopefully, with the help of her new companion, her luck would hold...

  5. Vayrin nodded, and ran forward again. As she sprinted, the large creature swung his massive arm at her. The violet haired girl managed to roll under it, although it had distracted her enough to miss her target. Her blad sang through the air, but just missed the edge of the Golem's body. She quickly rolled to the side to get some distance from the other two, rethinking her strategy...

  6. "Ehh... It's not really monster... More like a slightly smaller rabbit." She said to Grave. "It's not dangerous at all, just EXTREMELY fast.." She said again, emphasizing the word "Extremely" "I heard it dropped some rare material. A material a tailor like myself would find very useful." She said smirking to herself, thinking about the reward for catching this mob was. "Anyways, if that doesn't sound as adventurous as fighting a field boss to you, I don't blame you for not coming." She exclaimed. Vayrin looked back at him for another moment "Although, it won't be easy to catch... I hope you know how to sprint." She said smiling.

  7. It wasn't very long until something stirred in Vayrin's mind and began to awake her. The girl shifted a bit, and slowly opened one of her purple eyes. She saw the faint fuzzy outline of another person sitting near the spring not very far from her. Suddenly, both her eyes widened when she realized something was underneath her head. It was in fact another player, and whoever they were must've placed some folded robes under her head. Slowly, trying not to alert the player to her awoken state, she silently got up. She shook her head, and quickly observed her cloak to make sure all the grass was off. She then got the courage to speak up. Judging by their armor, this player was obviously stronger then her, so if he meant her harm, she'd probably be gone by now. "Erm... Was this your spot..?" She asked somewhat nervously.

  8. Vayrin simply nodded at her companions when Macradon got into a battle stance with her. Judging by the gear that Zandra had, she seemed to be a high level player, so could probably hold off the Snowbeast on her own while Vayrin and Macradon dealt with the Golems. Gritting her teeth, Vayrin held out her blade as it began to glow a dark violet in the vicious blizzard blowing around them. As the Snow Golem's got into their battle stance, and began rushing towards her. Vayrin did the same. With a fierce yell, the girl swiftly rolled under one of the Golem's massive arms as it attempted to smash her, She then followed up with a slash of her own on it side, before leaping just out of the second's. She used this to her advantage. She quickly sprinted back towards the beast, rolled under his legs, hit him again, before spinning, and rushing her blade along the third's back, completing the square. The whole process was about 6 seconds. Vayrin was now on the opposite side of the Golem's from where Mac was, and she could already see that Zandra had instigated the battle with the snowbeast. She nodded at Mac to finish the Golem's off so they could help Zandra...

  9. As Vayrin continued to swish through her menu, she couldn't help but feel rather relaxed in her current position. The soft grass under her made a good cushion, and the small breeze didn't hurt either. It wasn't long before her eyes began to droop, and she fell into a peaceful nap. This was unusual for the Violet haired girl. More so then anyone else. She almost never let her guard down outside a safe zone. In this state she was completely vulnerable to an attack. She just had a very relaxed feeling though, she couldn't overcome. The purple cloaked girl lied across the grass with one harm behind her head, and the other over her stomach... Peacefully sleeping beside the spring.

  10. Day: 11

Vayrin opened the door, strolled in, and quickly took off her sword. Laying it down on the counter, she grabbed some matches and lit the candles beside it. Turning, Vayrin observed her shop, and got straight to work at her workbench. Grabbing her threads and needle, she begun crafting away hoping for the best results.

Today wasn't very bad, she managed to get some progress done. Smiling, she placed the items she had made on the shelf beside her. Giving a slight yawn, Vayrin looked out the window to see it was almost night. Blowing out the candles, Vayrin grabbed her weapon and exited her shop.

  11. Vayrin sat at the edge of a spring in the massive expanses of floor three. Not far from the town itself, she had been looking through her menu. Her face was rather determined, as per usual. Nothing new there. Vayrin had the tendency to keep a rather, calm, and serious look as her normal expression. Because of this, she may look overly pissed about something, but in truth it's just the way she was. Giving a sigh, Vayrin leaned back in the grass, her menu followed her head, hovering above her. She squinted one eye as the afternoon sun beamed down on her. She continued to scroll through her map, looking for anything worth while on the floor...

  12. As she had thought, the trio were met with fierce winds as they worked their way through the snow towards their destination. Vayrin had been in the back, letting Zandra and Macradon take point. She had her arm up to shield her from the unforgiving cold, but luckily she had picked up that survival skill. It seemed especially useful in these types of situations. Vayrin looked up, her eyes barley making out the other two when they had reached the spot of the quest... Sensing they were going to be in battle, Vayrin slowly reached for her blade. Suddenly though, she heard a very unusual movement behind her. The girl spun around to see three large, angry looking snow Golems that had seemed to spawn whilst they were focusing on the skull. Vayrin got in her battle stance, and with a determined voice she yelled over her shoulder. "I got these guys! You two take care of that Snowbeast!" Least she could do was provide these three monsters with a distraction while her companions could focus on the bigger threat...

  13. Vayrin nervously gazed up at her health gauge when the boy asked her how it was. The violet haired girl cringed at it's sight when she just now noticed that Croc had taken over half of her health... "Oh.. Er... It's alright.." Vayrin lied with a nervous smile on her face. Trying to hide how weak she was compared to these monsters. the Violet haired girl looked at his hand as the Grave placed it on her shoulder. "I um... I was just hunting a rare mob. I was going to get back to it..." She told him, looking up at his face. Pretending to ignore his hand placement. "I suppose help would be fine."

  14. Day: 10

Once again, the same routine took place. Vayrin opened the door to her shop and slowly shook her head. Closing the door behind her, she dropped her weapon down on the counter. Taking a few spools of threads, and a needle, she sat at her work table, and began working again.

Vayrin gave an annoyed sigh to see her luck was not as good as it usually was. With that in mind, she got up, took her weapon and decided to go hunting. She exited the shop, leaving only the fire place to die down on it's own.

  15. Vayrin turned around and looked over the Hunter she had encountered. He certainly knew what he was doing, and Vayrin knew she probably wasn't strong enough to take on the Golem by herself. "Sure... I guess." She told him, before turning back into her map. "My name's Vayrin." She said, still looking at the glowing menu floating in front of her. Satisfied with her map, she closed it and looked back at the hunter. "He won't be playing around, so it may take both of us a considerable amount of work to bring him down." She said, knowing the stats of the Golem.

  16. The redness in Vayrin's face softened, and her angry expression did as well. Turns out someone named Zandra told him about her. Vayrin couldn't exactly recall the person's image, but recognized the name by the two orders she had under it. "Sorry for acting up like that." She told Grave. "Just not used to fighting these monsters, especially at my level." She knew she had offended him by his expression, and it wasn't her intention. Vayrin looked down, knowing she had done this before to others. She had the tendency to snap at people when she disagreed with their decisions. She gave a sigh, thinking this player probably knew what he was doing in the first place. Seeing as he obviously didn't need her help smacking that beast around.

  17. Vayrin  held her chin for a moment thinking about what Helios had said. "Hmmm... I guess we could continue. The Alpha's weren't as hard as I thought they were going to be. There are some Stone Golems we can probably take as well." She looked up at her companion with a determined smile. It was true, she expected the Alpha's to be much tougher, but that was probably due to her last encounter with them. She was a lower level, and was almost killed. She was saved by another player who had witnessed the battle. Her mind went back to the present and looked back at Helios. "Well, I mean if you are still up for it." She said.

  18. "Right then, best get going." Vayrin told the other two. "I can see you two are already acquainted, so I guess I should tell you my name. I'm Vayrin." The violet haired girl said with a small smile. She then quickly put up her hood to shield her from the cold winds Vayrin only assumed would meet them. She turned in the direction in which they would go to exit town and looked back. "I suppose I'll let one of you lead the way." She said, before going into her menu and checking her stats. She opened her map, digging through the area they would be going through.

  19. Vayrin grunted and nodded at her companion's remark. She got her sword ready again, as the other Skeleton's turned in Jomei's direction after he swiftly dealt with one of them. She grinned as one of them still seemed to have it's attention focused on her. It's eyeless sockets stared at her a moment,. and then it charged. Vayrin did the same, clashing her weapon against the skeleton's. The two were locked in position for a few moments, both trying to push the other one back. Soon, Vayrin saw a flaw in the Skeleton's footwork. She took the advantage, and mange to kick one of it's legs. Even though it couldn't feel any pain, the monster stumbled back. Soon, her sword flew across it's chest, knocking it over.

  20. Vayrin raised an eyebrow to this player's response when she told him her name. "Yeah... That's me." She said with a suspicious tone in her voice. "I haven't seen you in my shop before... How do you know me?" She asked nervously. Vayrin had no idea that she had gained any popularity from her shop, seeing as only a few people had ordered from it. And this Grave guy didn't seem familiar to her at all... She would have remembered him if he had entered the Violet Phantom, seeing as she kept notes of all her orders before. She quickly assumed the only way he knew her was from someone else.

  21. Vayrin had her face buried in her map once again. Despite the amount of time she had spent on this floor, she still didn't quite know her way around it all. Giving a sigh, she looked up for a moment to observe her surroundings. The town seemed normal, and she had somehow mad her way into it's center. Only thing this message failed to give her was a physical description of this "Macradon" fella. Something that would have been useful had she found him. She gave another look, and saw two armored players talking with each other. The black haired woman however seemed somewhat familiar. Soon, Vayrin couldn't help but notice the two were in the place she was directed to meet them. She straightened up and began walking towards the two. "This is the place for the Essence of Steel quest right?" The violet haired girl stated in a serious tone, not knowing she may have interrupted the two's conversation.

  22. Vayrin nodded at her companion when he left his comment. Determined to finish thhis fight before their health dipped to low, Vayrin took a couple steps back, and charged her weapon. The two wolves seeing this got both of their attention fixed upon her. They growled and barked at her, before sprinting towards her. The violet haired girl did the same, her steel glowing with a purple aura. She let out a large swing in front of her as one of the wolves jumped upwards. The arc hit it square in the stomach, and it was blown backwards several feet. The other wolf had been impacted as well, rolling on the ground. The two creatures suddenly exploded. Vayrin smiled at their ruin, and gave her sword a playful swing before sheathing it.

  23. "Oh, you gotta be kidding me?" Vayrin mumbled to herself as she stepped out of Inn. The day had been rather calm today. Of course, if this were a normal situation this would have been a relief to anyone on floor 3. But this was not a normal situation. Vayrin cursed under her breath as she quickly went through her menu and onto her map. She had come to this floor hunting rare mobs, but it seemed most of them only spawned in stormy weather. She quickly gave a sigh of relief and headed out. She pulled up her winter hood, and walked down the street when she got a notification on her menu. She stopped for a moment and raised an eyebrow. She had rarely gotten these before. This was unusual... Soon, Vayrin's curiosity got the better of her, and she lifted her hand to open it. Her eyes reflected the white glow of the floating menu as she read the message. It was an invite to a quest. Vayrin knew little about he quest, except for what area it was located in. She slowly smirked as she thought about this opportunity. This was the perfect chance to earn a few extra mats in a place where tougher mobs spawned, and y'know, complete the quest. Whatever it was. She quickly dismissed the message and went to the spot she was directed to meet.

  24. Day: 9
Once again, Vayrin opened her shop and walked in. Carefully lighting the candles on the main counter, she then walked over to the fireplace and kicked in a few logs. She gave a small sigh before taking off a piece of paper on the wall, and observing it's design. Nodding, she placed it down beside her workbench, got her thread and needle, and got to work.
