  2. Day: 8

Another day, more crafts. Vayrin opened the door, and slowly shut it. She quickly took off her weapon, tossed the blade in it's sheath in the air and caught it again before setting it on the counter. She walked over to her shelves, walking passed them, searching for the right thread. Finding it, she picked one up and got a pin. Sitting at the workbench she began working again.

Very happy with the progress she had made today, Vayrin smiled and placed the two newest coats on the racks. She quickly picked up her blade, doused the candle's on the counter. She pulled over her hood when she saw it was raining, and walked out the door.

  3. "I'm just looking for a certain golem. Much larger and tougher then the others... He would probably drop some decent loot." She told him without looking up from her menu. She then looked up, and turned to other player as he suggested he give her every mat he obtained as long as he got the Col. It was a decent deal. Vayrin wasn't very low on Col, but she needed the Mats. "Really? Well, if your sure... But I'm going to keep hunting for a while..." She told him. She had gotten many orders recently from many players, and she was in need of any mats she could get her hands on so they didn't need to wait forever.

As Helios managed to dodge one of the Alpha's attacks, Vayrin quickly charged up her weapon again to deliver the same sword art she had used on the others. She she focused on the Wolf attacking Helios, she didn't notice the other sprinting right at her. It tackled her, pressing all it's weight down to keep her still. The initial impact dealt the beast's dmg to her. As Vayrin was on the ground, she held her blade up between the monster's mouth as it tried furiously to get passed it to reach her face. Seeing a weak spot, Vayrin quickly kicked the beast's stomach. it yelped and released some of  it's weight on her. Vayrin quickly used her other foot to kick it off of her. As soon as she was free, she rolled backwards onto her feet, and charged up her sword art before releasing it on both Alpha's.

  5. (I got a 4)

Vayrin stood silent, staring at the spot the croc had been only moments before. She continued to breath heavily, exhausted from the battle. She continued to stare as the other player spoke to her. She waited for him to finish before her face got an angry expression on it and she quickly sheathed her blade and turned in his direction, seemingly ignoring the compliment he had given her. "What the hell were you doing swimming in that lake!? Don't you know that one is filled with crocs?" She scolded him, quickly pointing to the water to see 3 more Swamp Lurker's staring at them, before diving in the water and ignoring them. She sighed for a moment, trying to relax. "My names Vayrin..." She told him before crossing her arms across her chest.

  6. (Updated stats beneath my signature picture. Zelrius still needs to update it xD)

As soon as the two got ready in their battle stances, Vayrin quickly observed their enemy's stats. She figured she was too weak to take on the General, but she could easily kill the warriors. She got her sword ready, and as it began to glow the warriors made their move. The first skeleton tried a simple slash, Vayrin quickly spun out of the way, rolling under the second skeleton's cross swipe. She then proceeded to quickly ducked out of the third's attempt to slice her neck, and leaped from the fourth's stab. Now Vayrin had been separated from Jomei, who was now on the opposite side of the room from her dealing with his own two warriors and the general. The 4 other's attention had been fixed on her. She quickly held out her blade and let it charge. Seeing this, the skeletons all charged at her again. The violet haired girl quickly sprinted back at them in the long prison block. When she got into a fit range, she quickly leaped upwards, releasing a large arc of sword art energy. All four skeletons had been hit in their torso's and limbs. They skidded backwards, weakened but not yet defeated. Vayrin breathed heavily, hoping that Jomei was having luck with his side. She got back into her defensive stance, and prepared for their next attack...

  8. Day: 7

Vayrin quickly walked through the door to her shop and let her blade down on the stool. SHe then hopped onto the counter and proceeded to lie on it for a moment, regaining her breath after the daily grind. She looked over and took a look at the new orders she had gotten from other customers. With hat she leaped back onto her feet and got straight to work...

She had manged to craft one good item today, although her skills still needed to be improved. She sighed as she placed the coat she had just created onto a shelf, and grabbed her blade and walked out of her shop.

  9. "Good, lets get moving..." She replied to Helios, glad that he still had some energy left in him. She did, that battle just got her riled up. Even though it was almost always dangerous, the combat was Vayrin's favorite activity in SAO. Much more excitement then working in her shop that is. It wasn't long after the two continued to walk down the path until they reached a large cliff, overlooking the vast floor. This was where the two Alpha wolves spawned, for dramatic effect she guessed. As she predicted, two larger, darker furred wolves were standing at the edge of the cliff, turning their heads when he two players came to greet them. Both of them snarled, and began to slowly stalk towards them. Vayrin unsheathed her blade, and got into her battle stance. "This is where the real fun begins..."

As the large croc rammed it's mouth against her side, Vayrin flew several feet back, hitting a large rock on the beach. She fell to the ground for a moment, and got half way up, holding her side. As the large bite mark began to fade, Vayrin's face got angry with rage. She quickly grabbed her weapon and sprinted back towards the monster with her sword glowing. Luckily the other player must have caught on, and provided a much needed opening by holding the monster's much weaker underside just for her. Vayrin let out a furious yell before she spun her weapon around, releasing a large wave of sword arc energy, slitting the creatures throat. The impact made the monster lose it's balance before falling on it's back into the sand... Vayrin stood there breathing heavily, weakened from the battle significantly...45

  11. As Vayrin followed led the two deeper into the supposed dungeon she stopped when they arrived at another room. One that looked like an actual dungeon. Old prison cells were scattered around it, along with the skeletons of the unlucky occupants. She looked over at the chest that Jomei had been talking about, and it seemed to be locked behind a door. Meaning they needed a key. Jomei asked her if she had any ideas, and she didn't seem to have any other then to keep looking. "No, I think we should just keep loo-" Suddenly, a loud rattling noise was heard behind them, Vayrin spun around with her blade to see one of the separated skeletons put itself together and stand up. Her eyes widened, and she took a couple steps backwards, still holding her blade in front beside Jomei. More of the same rattling sounds we heard around them. She turned her head to see even more skeletons form from the ground, all holding mean looking weapons... But the one thing she noticed was the bigger skeleton. It had a larger weapon, heavy looking armor... And a key around it's neck... Vayrin glared and got into her defensive stance in a back to back position behind Jomei as their opponents started to surround them. "Looks like we may have some fun after all." She said to Jomei, grinning before charging her sword.

  12. Vayrin paused for a moment and watched in awe as the player playfully beat the crap out of the mob. After the beast seeme to be distracted Vayrin took it as her chance. She charged up her sword and attempted to slash right through the snout of the large beast. She brought her weapon on the monster's nose, but it did barely anything. Her blade was stopped by the croc's thick scales, only leaving a tiny mark. Vayrin's face became nervous as she witnessed it. She then heard the beast growl annoyingly at her as it seemed to just be watching her, almost as if it knew she didn't stand a chance against it. "Heh, heh...." Vayrin gave a nervous laugh. The mosnter quickly opened it's large jaws and attempted to snap at her. "Woha!" She quickly leaped backwards, and skidded on the sand...

  13. "Ugh, no it's fine." The violet haired girl replied to the hunter. Even though she wouldn't openly admit it, she would've probably lost a lot more health if he hadn't intervened. He seemed to be a lot stronger then her if he managed to take out four golems at once in that short amount of time. She guessed he was out here for the same reason she was. "I'm just looking for mats... That monster wasn't strong enough to give me any though, so don't worry about it." She told him. She quickly went into her menu and went over her stats and map. "... where could he be...?" She mumbled quietly under her breath.

  14. Vayrin raised an eyebrow up when Helios offered her his share of the mats. "You sure? I mean, I'll take them if you don't have any uses for them." She said honestly. It was true she owned a tailor shop, and she needed any resources she could get. They still had more mobs to fight though, those were just grunts, Vayrin came for the Alpha's. Those wolves were much bigger, and a lot tougher. Even with two of them, on Alpha would still be a formidable opponent. "Well, we should continue. The death of their pack should attract the alpha's... I hope your not tired yet..." Vayrin told her green clad companion with a smirk on her face as she continued to walk down the mountain path. "You'll need your strength..."

  15. As the two walked down the staircase, Vayrin let Jomei take point. Not out of fear, but if something were to attack, he'd probably be more likely to evade it before she was. Not that there was much room int he narrow tunnel anyways. Soon, they reached another room. Vayrin stood at the edge of the staircase, staring intently at the large chained door at the other end of the hallway. She wondered what was on the other side, but she guessed it wasn't a mystery. This was obviously some sort of dungeon, or at least it was laid out that way. Using common sense, she guessed it held a monster that would act as the boss. Something she wasn't very eager to meet, but figured they'd probably need to in order to get out of here. Vayrin walked up to the large chained door as Jomei observed the other two archways on the side of the room. She stood just within a few inches of the large chains, staring at the giant doorway. She turned her attention back to her companion when he spoke up again. "Hm. Yeah, I guess... I'd say we should split up, but I have no idea what level of danger this place is..." She responded. Vayrin stood for a few more moments, and then started to walk towards one of the paths. "We have no idea where any of these go, so might as well pick one at random. Won't know until we try one..." She said to Jomei without looking back for his response. She simply unsheathed her blade, and walked into the archway...

  16.

Vayrin simply gave Helios a nod, after he used his sword art to finish off the wolves she weakened. The remaining two wolves hesitated to attack them now that their numbers had been made thinner. Vayrin gave a smirk as she held out her blade, and took another few steps back. As her blade began to glow, Vayrin sprinted towards the two remaining creatures. The two Wolves did the same when they saw her coming. Soon, Vayrin kicked off the ground, and spun in the air. Upon landing her arm swished her blade in front, generating another large arc of sword art energy. Hitting the two wolves as they were both in the air, about to land onto her. They flew back several feet as the large scars ran across their bodies. Soon, both exploded. At that, Vayrin simply sheathed her sword again. Giving off a sigh of relief.

Vayrin wasted no time, after seeing the player stun the giant crocodile. She sprinted towards the beach, as she pulled out her blade. Her sword glowed purple, and within seconds, Vayrin was in the air. As soon as she landed on the beach from the 3 foot drop from the forest, she spun around, and released her sword art at the large creature. With two brisk slashes, her blade hit it's mark across the monster's large torso. Although, as she expected, her sword did little to the monster's tough scales. The Lurker let out a loud roar after the scars faded on it's body, and quickly clambered on it's feet again. Vayrin took a couple steps back, thinking this may have been a mistake...

  18. "... I think that was the entrance..." Vayrin said calmly. Her hand slowly reached for the hilt of her blade, and pulled it out. There was no evidence of a way back up, so their only option was to find another way out. Although, the room they were in showed no signs of a doorway leading deeper into the dungeon they had fallen into. Vayrin knew, that the sound of the monster they had heard meant there was in fact someplace to go, they just needed to find it. "This leads somewhere..." She said. Vayrin slowly walked up to the stone wall. She reached out her hand and began feeling it's surface. The sound of the beast had come from this side of the room, so she might as well start there. She kept feeling until her finger caught a tiny divet in the smooth surface. She stopped, and looked more closely. There was indeed a small faint line that could barely be seen. "Erghh..." Seeing this, Vayrin quickly pushed her full body weight on the wall. Within a few seconds, the stone around the place she had been pushing started to shift, and a loud sound echoed through the room that sounded like a lock opening. Suddenly, the wall caved in, and as she had thought, it was a hidden door. It quickly slid backwards, then tucked itself into another wall. revealing a long dark stairway... "Only way up seems down.." Vayrin said, as she shot Jomei a grin.

  19. "Ugh.. Where is he?" Vayrin said frustrated. She had been wandering through the large expansive forest on this floor for some time. Even though it may be extremely dangerous for a low level like her, she was still determined. She had been looking for a rare mob that apparently spawned on this floor. Only recently had it been spotted, so she figured her chances at finding it were as good as anyone's. It wasn't dangerous in the slightest, just fast. The thing about the creature that caught her attention was it's hide. It was a material that was very rare, and could be used to craft decent items. Being a tailor, she naturally had interest. Vayrin had been strolling down the path with her menu open when she heard a distant splashing. She perked her head up, and quickly grabbed the hilt of her blade. Thinking the possibility it may be what she was looking for, she crouched, still holding the hilt of her sword on her back. She slowly stalked through the grass near the border of the lake she had heard the splashing coming from, almost completely hidden. She quickly peered through it to see what was causing the sound. She was let down to see all it was was just a player, taking a swim... She was about to turn around and continue her search when she noticed something else in the water moving towards the player. "...Oh no.." Vayrin's eyes widened when she saw the shape of a large crocodile swimming up to the unsuspecting player. And he didn't seem to see it coming, nor had anything to defend himself if he did. Vayrin quickly stood up and shouted at the gray haired player to get his attention "Get out of the water! Come on, get out!" She yelled at him with her hands cupped around her mouth.

  20. Vayrin felt dizzy as she slowly leaned upwards holding her head. "Ergn...." She opened her eyes to see Jomei giving her his hand. "Yeah, I think so." Not trying to be rude she took it as he pulled her to her feet. She quickly looked at herself and proceeded to dust off her cloak. She looked over her shoulder to make sure her weapon was still fine, and it seemed so. The violet haired girl let out a sigh of relief, and then gazed at the roof of the room. No evidence of the hole was left, it seemed they were trapped. "Yeah. I guess you did miss one." She turned her gaze back to Jomei, with slight annoyance in her voice. Vayrin quickly turned her attention to the cave they had fallen into. Only, it wasn't a cave. It was more like an old ruin... Her eyes widened as she observed it closer. The hole they had fallen through was had been at the roof of the room, which looked to be about 20 feet above them. How they didn't suffer any damage from their impact she did not know. The room itself wasn't very large, but did house large old pillars that connected the floor to the ceiling far above. They seemed to have fallen onto a large circular platform, with weird symbols carved onto it's borders. The only light came from a small torch on the wall. "Er.. Jomei. What is this place?" Vayrin asked curiously as she continued to gaze around the room.

  21. Vayrin said nothing as Helios spoke to her, she just started to slowly walk towards the three that were coming at her. Holding her blade out, she stopped about 6 feet away from the pack, and awaited their move. She didn't wait long. Soon the wolves started snarling, and sprinted towards her. As one of them jumped at her, Vayrin quickly gripped her weapon tighter, and ducked underneath the beast. She then rapidly spun out of the second monster's bite, and leaped out of the way of the thirds. Vayrin soon found herself skidding on the ground behind the beasts after her evasive actions. She was in a half kneeling stance, as her hand held out her sword when it began to glow a bright purple. She then sprinted at the monsters, and leaped up into the air. A soon as her feet hit the ground, her sword released a powerful arc of sword art energy. The bright purple flash managed to hit all three of her targets, plus one of the wolves on Helios's side. The four creatures rolled backwards into the ground. Significantly weakened, but not yet defeated.

  22. Vayrin closed her eyes as she felt the virtual breeze of the floor blow past her. She breathed in before her moment of silence was interrupted by an oddly familiar voice. She only knew one person with that accent. Vayrin opened her eyes and turned her head suddenly with a curious look on her face. As she had suspected, it was Jomei. The man who had assisted her with big ugly wasp on floor two. She doubt he had any trouble recognizing her. Her love of the color violet made her stand out quiet easily. Especially on a floor like the third. "Jomei? Heh... Fancy meeting you here." She said, giving off a small smile. Based on the comment he gave her, Vayrin quickly realized he had been watching her do her routine. "Huh? Oh... Yeah, I think.." She said, rubbing her head and giving off a nervous chuckle. She still wasn't strong enough to solo a monster like the wasp queen, but she wouldn't go down without a fight at this point. "Figured I should just practice, I guess. I think someone activated a random event nearby, heard talk from some of the NPC's of goblins around." She said.

  23. As the two continued to walk, Vayrin had her attention buried in her map for the most of it. Her attention snapped back to her companion when he had asked her the profession she had chosen. "Huh? Oh, I'm a tailor." She replied, still looking at her map. It was true that she had originally chosen the profession for her own purposes. She wanted to focus on speed, more then protection. Something she could do as a tailor, and not a blacksmith which was her second choice. THey also needed more tailors in aincrad. From what she saw, there were very few. She had only recently heard of the shop that a girl named Auriel apparently owned, but her stuff was supposedly expensive because of it's quality.

It wasn't long before the two had reached the area of the wolf packs, and as she expected. Soon, Helios had unsheathed his curved blade, and Vayrin closed the menu. She looked out at their surroundings for a moment. They had entered a very narrow walkway between the two mountains. Soon, a distant howling could be heard from the wolf mobs. Hearing this, Vayrin's expression turned serious, and she slowly reached for her blade on her back. She grabbed the hilt, and as she pulled it out, she got into a battle stance. Soon, the growling of the wolf mobs could be heard, and farther down the path she could see three wolves slowly stalking towards them. She heard more growling coming from behind them. She turned her head to Helios's side to see another three. She simply gave him a nod and turned her attention the three coming at her side...

  24. "I mostly do my grinding here, closer to my shop." Vayrin said smiling, she gestured her hand forward to a small building on the other side of the teleportation plaza. "Heh, some of my friends call me by the name of the place." She said, thinking back to her quest with her friend Koumori on the 3rd floor.

Vayrin looked back at Helios when he thanked her for coming. "Know the feeling. I was going to grind anyways, but might as well not do it alone for the same reason." She said, smiling before she went back into her menu, and began to follow him out of the town.  She stopped, looked up for a moment, determining their path. She looked back to consult her map, then began taking a smaller road that lead into a canyon.

  25. With a bright glow, the teleport podium sprang to life as the blue orb formed in it's center. Vayrin stayed dormant as the glow faded, and then stepped off the podium, looking at the large mountain town. She observed it for a few moments more before seeing the familiar black and green getup of Helios. She walked over to him. "Well, I know a few mobs that we can probably take together." She told him. She then looked in front of her as she swiped open her menu. Within a few seconds, Vayrin hat tapped through it to bring up her map. "Yeah.. There are some wolf packs around here." She said pointing to a small pathway that led through two of the mountains in the large expansive range. "Some of them have Alpha's. Now those are difficult to fight on your own. With someone though, they are easier..." She said as she thought about the origin of her chest plate. From which she got from slaying an Alpha wolf with another player a while back.
