Crozeph didn't like what he heard "setting your HP to one, I could imagine death knocking at your door" it was fascinating but Crozeph still felt scared by that. "This game is pretty organized, like everything is planned from the start" he said. Crozeph already finds himself tired enough to fight any monsters but he needs to pull himself together if he wants to reach the town "I hope I can find bread there, maybe a different kind of bread" he said thinking of the food he could eat with his current col.

Crozeph held his sword and saw the crimson glow of the sharp edge "I might cut myself with this" he said. Crozeph looked at the girl and the second customer to enter the shop "umm hey" he said "thanks for the weapon, it was better than I expected" he said. Crozeph quickly opened his inventory and transferred 750 col on the girl and took out an ore from his inventory "here's my payment" he said. Crozeph strapped the sword at his back and looked at his friend "be careful Arekkusu, you might run into something you don't expect" he said before stepping out of the shop smiling "I guess I'll be coming here more often.".

Crozeph sighed "I've been observing a lot of players and there seems to be no horses available" he said. Crozeph saw a lot of players rely on portals "I'm not much of a hacker to get one plus, the program migh end me if I try" Crozeph opened his menu and scrolled up and down "usually if its available anywhere I can do it outside this game..." Crozeph chewed off a piece of his bread "hacking the game while inside the game is quite impossible for me unless I'm the one who created this nice and dangerous world" he said. Crozeph was good when he's in front of a keyboard but right now he's just one of the thousands of players inside slugging it out in the muck for survival. Crozeph also began guessing where a portal is nearby but easily gave up "nahh, I'll save my strength for walking, I've used up enough brain cells after fighting today."
-
"Don't look, don't look, don't look" Crozeph said as he runs toward the town. It was already dark and the monsters roaming around doubled after his last fight. He could see a wolf pack running a few meters away from him keeping up with his pace. "I can't afford to lose here, even though I'm not really good at endurance runs" he said as he continues to run towards the town. Crozeph is already a few feet away when he tripped on a rock which made him fall down and roll towards the town entrance. Crozeph closed his eyes for a few seconds "I'm a goner..." he suddenly heard people talking around. Crozeph opened his eyes and saw that he was inside the town, some players were looking at him and others trying to hold their laugh. Crozeph stood up and shook the dusts of his clothes. "what a clumsy luck" he said.
Crozeph walked around and saw a bench. He moved towards it and sat. "Man I'm beat, I managed to survive for another day" he said. Crozeph looked up and saw stars in the sky "looks real" he muttered. After resting for a few minutes Crozeph stood up and searched for the bulletin to take some quests "time to upgrade my equipment" he said as he makes his way deeper into town. "I'll live through this Aya, just give me time" he said to himself. Crozeph has been feeling the limits of going solo outside safe zone but somehow, he'll be able to make himself stronger for the next days to come.

Crozeph looked at Arekkusu "if he's missing then there's a chance he's still alive" Crozeph scratched his head "shattering to pieces doesn't really help much on proving someone is still alive" he said. Crozeph opened his inventory and took a bread. He divided it evenly and gave the other half to Arekkusu "well it doesn't mean he's already a complete goner" he said. "I'm planning on proving some rumors after I get my weapon forged...who knows I might as well run into him" he said before biting his share "but really, that town is really far...I wish SAO would let us have horses."

"Time to finish this puppy" Crozeph held his sword up again facing the wolf, his right foot forward again. "Aya told me to glide, not hop" he said "but how am I supposed to glide on an uneven path" he muttered angrily. Crozeph then breathe slowly and looked at the wolf with dead serious eyes "I've learned enough stances for this game" Crozeph moved his right foot forward and slashed at the wolf before it could dodge his attacks again. The wolf got hit on the head shattering itself after receiving Crozeph's critical blow "and that's how it all ended" Crozeph sheathe his sword and eyed the town only a few meters away "I guess I should make a..." Crozeph gathered up his remaining strength and ran towards the town he just saw.

Crozeph started thinking "Macgrath..." he thought. Crozeph heard the name before then "I've met him but only once at a floor where I met you also, didn't know he ended up as one too" he said. Crozeph was also surprised by how they just go past each other whenever they meet "I guess most PKs here are driven by revenge" he thought. Crozeph always thought of PKs as cold-hearted players who prey on the weak for fun but after hearing what Arekkusu said, it seems there's more to being a PK than just killing off other just for fun.

The wolf looked at the player as he talks to himself, still growling and trying to stand up to finish the fight. The wolf was the predator and the player is the prey, it doesn't seem right that the wolf is the one to go down first. The wolf gathered its strength and stood up, ready to attack the player anytime. After finally regaining its balance, the wolf pounce at the player. The player blocked the wolf's fangs but he himself is almost tired that he couldn't block the attack properly. The wolf bit his shoulder trying to tear it off, after a few seconds of trying the wolf let go of it and fell on the ground snarling at the player.

Crozeph knew what Arekkusu meant, even before the virtual world RPG came out, Crozeph already hated the player killers on the past games he played "I know, that's why I'm out hunting materials to get stronger" he said. Crozeph has long been aware of them "I was once a GM on the past games my friends and I played and guess what, we hunt these kind of players" he said. Crozeph felt frustrated that he can't do anything for now but soon he'll be able to help. Crozeph then looked at the his friend "wow, you seems to know them more, have you encountered one?" he asked. Crozeph relies on the information he gets and rumors spreading out like wildfire in towns doesn't give him a concrete idea about most floors and PKs who roam around.
-
"Almost bone-tired" Crozeph muttered as he held up his sword towards the wolf "let's finish this one and for all puppy" Crozeph knew that he had to do his best to end this battle to avoid being attacked by the other wolf packs who are now prowling around. "Right foot forward, raise the weapon above the head just right and..." Crozeph close in the distance with just one step and swinging his sword down successfully hitting the wolf and making it fall down flat on the ground. "Left foot backward" he said. Crozeph waited for the wolf to shatter but still it has enough HP to keep it alive for a moment. "I guess I executed joge buri well..." Crozeph can't help but smile "...she will be proud of me" he said.

Crozeph laughed nervously, he remembered the last time a boar almost ended his dear life after landing a critical blow on him but he was alone that time, this time a friend of his is with him "I'll keep that in mind" he said. Crozeph has been hunting for materials these past few days but failed. Crozeph then looked at the sun slowly and almost setting "what I'm afraid of is the PK status players here" he said. Crozeph knew the danger of the monsters prowling but that is almost gone because he's with someone strong enough to help him mow down two or three monsters "we might run into one and both of us will end like those monsters we killed" Crozeph kicked a rock but ended up hurting himself "damn it Kayaba! why program a rock as hard as a wall?" he said. Crozeph flexed his hands and still bearing the pain on his foot "I'll hunt them down once I see them kill another player."

The wolf didn't like the feeling of slamming to a tree and also the player seeing its attacks. The wolf quickly stood up and braced itself for an attack on the player. It pounced on the player without even thinking anymore, it has only one goal now...end the player's life. The player seem to see the attack again but felt his strength slowly running out. The wolf bit his arm but it failed on biting it off the player. The wolf snarled at the player after successfully connecting its attack to the player.

Crozeph listened to what Arekkusu said and saw him raise his shield. Crozeph looked around for any enemies prowling around "it's hard to enjoy the sunset when it's this dangerous here" he said. Crozeph only wanted to gather material enough for him to get a smith forge his sword but it seems he got a different scenario of his adventure "fate is unavoidable..." Arekkusu's words echoed at him "that's why I hate it" he said to himself. Crozeph kept up with Arekkusu's pace, also warily looks at his surroundings.
-
"That's it! a slight chance" Crozeph saw the frustration in the wolf's eyes as it sees that its prey is still standing "didn't expect this turn of events huh" he said looking at the wolf in the eyes. Crozeph took a step forward and extended his sword towards the wolf thrusting his sword at its side. The wolf eagerly moved to his side but Crozeph saw an opening again on the wolf's movement. "hopping so you can dodge is a bad idea" Crozeph quickly changed the direction of his sword and slashed a the wolf slamming it to a tree nearby. The wolf let out a whimper that made Crozeph look at his surroundings "there's no way other monsters won't hear that" he thought. Crozeph then turned his eyes on the wolf who is now trying to stand up "just a little bit, this will be over before I know it."

The wolf clearly saw what the player is trying to do...to get it unaware. The wolf moved upon seeing the glimmer of the blade, then with a ferocious growl it charged at the player but to its dismay the player is also cautious enough to dodge its attacks now. The wolf bit thin air again as the player successfully maneuvers himself away from the wolf. The wolf felt the more frustrated that its growl began to get louder than last time. It also saw the player's dead serious eyes as if this isn't a simple loot hunting anymore.

Crozeph felt more tired upon hearing what Arekkusu said. "Running is not my specialty really" he said. Crozeph remembered his days in the real world when he attends school. He remembered not running to school even though he was late "I can't keep my strength up for long" he added. Crozeph quickly followed Arekkusu after an ambush happened. Crozeph knew that his friend handled the ambush pretty well, if it was him alone he would've been a goner now. Crozeph opened the map in his menu and looked at their location "yeah we're still far, I don't see any town in my map" he said. Mapping out the floors seems like a chore to Crozeph but right now, they'll be needing it just in case they get lost.
-
Crozeph tried to follow Arekkusu as he runs to where the town is but it seems in terms of skills inside the game Crozeph is still low "I need to upgrade some of my skills sometime...I'll keep reminding myself about that" he said. Crozeph then noticed Arekkusu slowing down "do we have enough time to reach the town?" he said. The previous encounters with the mobs are already taking its toll at him. "I need to go to a smith also" he thought. Crozeph's current set of weapons are not enough anymore to kill mobs that would be stronger than what they just fought.
-
"Too reckless" Crozeph at the wolf as its attack missed. Crozeph took the chance while the wolf is still recovering from the attack and hit it with his sword. Crozeph was almost hitting it when the wolf moved back dodging his attack and almost making him lose his balance also. Crozeph quickly strafe after his attack missed to avoid a counterattack by the wolf which he won't like at all "the wolf is too reckless..." he said "... and I'm too cautious" he added. Crozeph pointed his sword at the wolf to shield himself from any direct attacks that it will make.

Crozeph walked in after seeing a store with an icy look. He pushed the door open to see if there's anyone ho can help him to craft a new weapon. "Anyone here?" he said hoping that someone will answer him. Crozeph pulled out a slip and settle it down on the counter. He noticed that it was a bit crumpled so began smoothing it out. "I would like a custom item made" he said but no one is answering him "maybe the smith is busy" Crozeph sat at the waiting counter and looked at the slip that he's holding.
Item name: Crimson Flare
Item type: one-handed curve sword
Item quality: uncommon
Item ability: +1 damage
wanted price: 300 col + 1 mat
Crozeph looked around the shop as he waited noticing that almost everything is ice "a forge that looks and feels cold, you don't see that everyday" he said to himself smiling.

The wolf staggered on its feet as the player's attack connects and hits it. The wolf just kept on growling at him and continued on moving in circles around the player. When the wolf saw a chance to attack, it quickly pounced at the player but he dodged the attack again making the wolf bite thin air. The wolf didn't like it and it made the animal more furious. It started showing its fangs at the player warning him that there won't be a miss on its attack again.

Crozeph had no luck for loot this past few days and it seems that it happened again. "Thanks for the col by the way" he said. Crozeph stood up and wiped the grass that cling to him away. "I think we can go now" Crozeph was about to walk when he noticed something. "Tresure chest?" he looked at the place where Arekkusu got ambushed by the other monsters that they encountered a while ago. Crozeph ran to the bushes hoping that he would see one but failed "I've been to preoccupied by looking for treasure chest that I'm starting to see imaginary ones" he said. Crozeph followed Arekkusu as he leaves the area, avoiding further encounters with hostile mobs.

"Time for a retaliation" Crozeph quickly moved in to slash the wolf pushing it back. Crozeph knew the wolf didn't get hit but instead moved back by instinct. "That was careless" he said, Crozeph dashed this time, fast enough to not let the wolf move back again. the wolf didn't moved a bit even when it sees Crozeph charging at it "not feeling fear anymore?that's not a good idea" Crozeph slashed at the wolf and this time its attack connected, sending it backward for real this time "how's that puppy" he said but still feeling the fear that the wolf might give him a critical hit again.

The wolf didn't mind the attack, it was programmed to be ready and to endure basic attacks from players. The wolf charged at the player this time but circled at him when its a few feet away. It needs to time its attack so that it will successfully hit the player. After circling at him, the wolf quickly attacked the player but the player moved sideways dodging the wolf's attack and rendering it useless. The wolf growled at the player, telling him that he got lucky this time.

Crozeph had to finish the fight, or else they would risk their time for the other monsters prowling around to join the fray "I need to keep it from flying away" he thought. Crozeph that it was easy for the bat to just fly away whenever they attack and he's got only one idea on how to finish it off. Crozeph ran towards it with a trick on his sleeve he hopes will work on the monster. The bat quickly moved back after seeing Crozeph near it and stopped after moving back a few feet "there it is!" he shouted. Crozeph side stepped towards the left of the bat and slashed at it leaving it no choice to move back shattering the bat and finishing the last monster in front of them. Crozeph slumped on the grass, tired as if he used up all his strength "we really need to reach the town" he said.

"I like bread...you could do anything with them" he said. "I'm not that broke, I'm just saving up for a better equipment to take on higher floors" he told Arekkusu. Crozeph was surprised when Arekkusu mentioned his girl "wow, you're really getting the hang of most things here" he said. Crozeph couldn't imagine himself like his friend, bread was the only thing he could think of right now and maybe the rest of his time inside the game "it must be nice to have someone to protect or someone who'll be by your side" he said looking at the sky.
