Crozeph didn't like what's currently happening, he didn't underestimate the plant but it seems to be strong enough to overpower him "its attack is strong but..." Crozeph suddenly heard the voice of his friend "opponents who land strong attacks tend to lower their defense" a girl's voice said to him. Crozeph smiled at what he remembered "your kendo lessons were boring because you're only talking to me" he said "but I remember most of it" added. Crozeph saw an opening as the plant attacks him. "There it is" the first vine tried to wound his shoulder but Crozeph moved to his right. The second vine failed also as it got stuck on the ground for its strong attack "strong attack, weak defense" he said. Crozeph slashed through the plants roots crippling it for a while, Crozeph moved back and pointed his sword at the plant "wow that really helps."

Crozeph smiled as the wolf shatters "then I guess I should end this" Crozeph pointed his sword at the boar as it charges towards him again. As the boar closes in, Crozeph moved in also to attack the boar  but his vision suddenly got blurred leaving him open for the boar to land its attack at him. Crozeph almost stumbled down if he didn't use his sword as a support "not now" he said. Crozeph quickly looked around saw only blurred images of his friend and the dim lights of the nearby town "not...now" Crozeph gathered the last of his strength and stood up but the trouble is yet to come, another wolf has appeared to his left "this must be their respawn point" he said. Crozeph looked at Arekkusu "I'll try to finish this off then we'll make a run for the town" he said "not this time...not yet."

"I really don't know the name but let's just call it 'starting point'" he said nervously. Crozeph's idea was to help the player but even him is having a hard time mapping out the area "alright I confess, I always get lost around here, I might be able to help in battle but not much on maps" he said. Crozeph has been staying in the game long enough to know the ins and outs of the lower floors but to his dismay, almost every place looked almost alike to him "I haven't mapped the game area much but let's go to this place you pointed at me" Crozeph closed his menu and looked around him. Again he forgot the path to where they should go. He opened his map menu again and looked at it then he closed it again. "I think we should make our way out of town first" he said.

The plant quickly strafed after dodging the player's attack. It swung its vines wildly as it moves forward to attack the player. The plant attacked the player with two of its vines dealing damage on him before he could block the other vines to approach him. The plant let out a shriek as if its having fun attacking the player who seems to be in peril and in a difficult situation to counterattack.

"I know, I've escaped a lot of hard battles with this swords skills that I've lea..." Crozeph began to see lights from afar "finally just a few more miles and we'll reach the town" he said. Crozeph began to walk faster upon seeing the town that Arekkusu told him. As he tries to gather up his strength to make it to town faster, A boar suddenly appeared in front of him charging at him at full speed. Crozeph quickly reacted at the boar's appearance and pulled out his sword to block its tusk. Crozeph was about to block the boar when he sensed another monster beside them "damn it! Arekkusu a wolf is approching us, look for a pair of gleaming eyes around us" he said. Crozeph skid to the side of the boar and attacked it pushing it back and using his sword as a shield for any incoming attack "not going to let us in that easily" he said.

Crozeph almost slammed at a tree if he didn't use hands to grab on a branch. "That's going to leave a mark" he said. Crozeph has never encountered a monster strong enough until now who could throw him around. "I need to make a much more careful attack" he said. Crozeph tried to cut of the vines of the but the plant moved back using its roots as legs. "What a surprise, it can move freely" he said. Crozeph hasn't regained his wits yet after getting rammed by the plant "I'll be a goner soon if I won't be careful."

The plant will not let that attack slip, it suddenly wrapped its vines to a branch of two trees nearby and uprooted itself. The plant let then shrieked at the player and began moving towards it. As it nears the player, it sprouted 2 vines and started whipping at the player. The player got pushed back so many times that he couldn't block all of it. As the vines began hitting the player so hard, the plant suddenly rammed its head at the player launching him in the air.

Crozeph looked at the player "I can tag along, but all the col and items will be yours" he said "it's all right with me, I might as well use my free time to help" he said. Crozeph opened his menu and looked at the map "I don't want to get lost again" he said looking at the map. He then turned his eyes on the player "so where do you want to start? there's plenty of places here that thinking of them makes me tired" he said. Crozeph moved his shoulder "just tell me if you're ready."

"Now that I'm close enough..." Crozeph dashed forward making him on a few feet away and enough for an attack to reach the plant "...taste my blade!" Crozeph gripped sword tight and jumped, swinging his sword upward cutting through the lower jaw of the plant. The plant let out a screech again while Crozeph is in mid-air, he covered one of his ears and dropped down safely rolling away far enough where he can endure the sound "what a noisy monster" he said.

The plant saw the player talking but it doesn't understand anything. It continued to form drills with its vines and pointed it at the player. Two of it darted towards the player and aimed at his head. The player ducked fast enough to avoid the first drill and rolled down to dodge the second. The plant then began to open its mouth and made a screeching sound. Now that the player is close the vines are now pointed at the back of the player and in front of him, the plant's mouth.

Crozeph had to regain his balance. He buried his sword to the ground and used it as a support "That looks dangerous you crazy plant" he said at it shouting "I'll let that attack slip for now" he thought. Crozeph charged towards the plant and tried to hit its vines again but failed miserably. "I guess its good at long distance attacks" he thought. Crozeph swung his sword again but the plant easily moved its vines back to itself completely dodging the player's attack. "I'm gonna have a hard time with this" he said as he looked at the vines swinging around him and the plant "you're a simple eight feet plant, yeah I'l keep that in mind."

"Who knows what they'll say, if they're alive they're just going to brag about the loot but if they die..." Crozeph held his sword "let's hope someone will live to tell the tale" he added. Crozeph started swinging his sword up and down with both hands "I never thought I'll use what I always see on tournaments on the real world" he said. "Sword skills are deadly to those who are not careful" he said. Crozeph sheathe his sword and continued walking.

"What a bummer" Crozeph said followed by a sigh "I guess its better than overkill" he added. Crozeph has long known the concept of balance in games. He almost surpassed it himself on other games but this one will be an impossible feat for an experienced RPG player like him. "I'll just bear with it and besides, there isn't a respawn program in this game anymore so its a good idea to not apply the overkill on the boss" he said "but still, high level players shouldn't have hard time on them" he thought. Crozeph opened his menu and looked at the part where the log out button was "let's leave the other boss clearing on other players" he said.

The plant took advantage of the distance that the player gave it. Three vines joined together  forming a drill-like shape made of the vines and pointed it at the player. The plant let out a screech before attacking the player. The vines connected and hit the player hard even though he blocked it with his sword pushing him back continously and making lose his balance. The plant began shrieking again as its vines are still pointed at the player.

Crozeph moved back but kept his eyes on what's happening "this is real, how stupid of me" he said. Crozeph never saw a player in this kind of sadness ever since he joined the game but now that there's one in front of him, he felt sorry for her "good thing she has friends" Crozeph said. As he was about to walk away, he saw his friend talk to the girl. He listened to what the boy said and smiled "yeah that's him and I hope those words will help her" he said. He kept on looking at them observing the outcome of this things that are taking place "but still..." he looked at the pink haired girl "she could snap any moment" he thought.

(ooc wow the town is really far, it almost took four pages lol)

Crozeph liked what Arekkusu said "Let's go on a quest sometime...I also want to meet your girl" he said. Even though he's still a mid-level player, Crozeph has already felt the limits of going solo around Aincrad. "Time to let myself be known to others" he said. Crozeph kept on walking and trying to control himself from eating another bread "until I can buy food, I won't eat the remaining food on my inventory" he said. Crozeph is already planning on taking quest to earn extra col and once he reaches town, he'll begin his plan for a new path to the game "I wonder about the boss in this game though..." he said "most bosses in games tend to grows strong the more their HP gets cut down" he said.

"It's pretty much simple" Crozeph gazed at the path leading outside the city "you kill some monsters and hopefully they'll drop loot if they are generous enough" he said. Crozeph had no luck on gathering loot so he makes the most out of his kills. "You'll get the hang of it easily but if you don't start now, you'll get nowhere" he said. Crozeph has been taking on most of his adventures alone and maybe this time having a new player around to help might be a change for him.

"That was close" Crozeph looked at the tree that got pierced by its vines. Crozeph tried to cut off the vines buried to the ground but the plant was fast enough to pull it out before he could cut it "all right you're fast enough" Crozeph held his sword and pointed it at the plant "and it looks like I need to be more fast to cut you down" Crozeph could see that the plant is taller than him and this encounter will last longer than he thought. Crozeph moved back keeping his distance at the plant but it seems to be not a good way of keeping himself safe.

The plant didn't waste time and stretched out its vines to stab the player. Three of its vines hit the ground so hard that the plant had a hard time pulling it out. The plant pulled out two more to hit the player but he just moved back and the vines pierced to a tree this time. The plant let out a deafening shriek that made the player cover his ears.

Crozeph scratched his head and laughed "ahh I'm sorry, I'm Crozeph" he said "what a blunder Crozeph, you forgot to introduce yourself" he said to himself. He looked at the player's starter pack "be careful if you're planning to go out in the open" he said. Crozeph felt a faint fear at the player who begins to make his way to an open area, away from the safe zone "if you need help just ask us, I may not be of much help but I'll do what I can" he added. Crozeph looked at him "before I forget, what's your name?" he asked the player.

Crozeph made his way to the fifth floor after a certain blacksmith forge his first custom sword. He was wearing the black cloak he obtained from a certain monster that he killed when he was still a low level player. He pulled out his sword and admired the quality of the blade as the sharp edge glows crimson when light hits it. "This should make hunting a lot more easier" he thought. Crozeph walked inside the first forest he saw in the area. Crozeph kicked a large rock that he saw on the way hoping that materials will come out of it if he kicks it. 

Crozeph had no luck for loot drops and materials "I need materials for an armor" he thought. Crozeph cloak might protect him from serious damage but still his HP bar can be set to yellow if he just wears a cloak. As he makes his way deeper to the forest a plant began sprouting in front of him "oh come on, don't tell me that's a..." the plant let out a shriek at Crozeph sending him back. Crozeph didn't like it and he pointed his finger at the plant "I've taken enough biology lessons to know how to take you down!" he said angrily. Crozeph pulled out his sword and stepped his right foot forward, the sword facing the monster.

Crozeph saw a safe zone from afar, he has preoccupied himself with walking again that he couldn't remember where he started walking and worse...where he is now."Finally a safe zone, time to check my inven..." Crozeph looked at the group of players just outside the safe zone "a recital maybe" he said. Crozeph hadn't encountered performance for a while and this might be his chance to see one again "now who is that..." Crozeph saw a pink-haired girl with her hands bleeding and trying to pry away the arms of another player wrapped around her "a drama?" he thought "but that wound looks real" he said. Crozeph looked around to see if he could ask what's going on but hesitated "stay quiet Crozeph" he said to himself as he sees the orange mark on the pink-haired girl head "a player killer but she looks like in agony" he thought as he continues to watch them.

Crozeph laughed nervously "good thing I didn't meet while you were like that, we'd be in the police station right away if that happens" he said. Crozeph was surprised at himself for mentioning a place in the real world, "but I understand it more now, I can see madness slowly creeping in on every player and maybe you can see and feel it too but at least you and your girl can fight it" he said. Crozeph started to learn more about his friend and it seems that just like everyone in the game, there's more to them than meets the eye. "Never dwell on your mistakes..." he thought "you're right, its up to me to write my own story" he said.

"You sound like you're going missing like your friend a little bit" he said. Crozeph never really put a lot of interest on girls, the last one he liked beat him up when he was sleeping on their cleaning duty on school in the real world. "I maybe nice but really, most of them likes the gutsy type...maybe like you" he said. Crozeph's personality is not someone to hate at but some see him as a serious guy "I guess I made myself too quiet to be noticed." Crozeph then looked around them and still no sign of the town, he hasn't invested any skill points on tracking and it seems he needs to now.

Crozeph finished eating his bread and took out another one from his inventory "five left" he said. Crozeph has been planning on taking on a quest but after what he did the past few days, he felt that he should take a breather on the chaos and battle around the game. "I guess its time to help out others" he thought as he chewed off his bread. Crozeph glanced around the players around him "not much appearing today, busy or slacking off?" he thought. Crozeph's attention was caught by two players talking and one of them he knows. Crozeph walked towards them and looked at Arekkusu "you're not taking him to someplace dangerous right?" he said jokingly. Crozeph has known the guy to be adventurous and it might be too much for the player who seems a little new or maybe he just saw for the first time.
