Crozeph

Crozeph looked like a child lost in an amusement park as he enters the town "finally a place where we can kick back and relax" he told Arekkusu. Crozeph evaluated what he did today and realized that he finally stepped out of his comfort zone with the help of his friend. "Today was a nice day to almost die but it was nice" he said. Arekkusu was like a brother to him now and "so you planning to go anywhere?" he said. Crozeph had to hit a forge first before eating food and trying to find materials for an armor next.

~Story Thus Far~

Communications Established

After his Adventure where he almost died and forging his sword, Crozeph decided to join a guild in order to help new players. Crozeph already had new friends along the way in his solo play in the game. One of them is Arekkusu, a person that he sees as a brother and Tom a player he met at town. Crozeph joined the guild named Tempest Lost and joined the squad Tom created. Crozeph then realized that his friend is not in the game after an incident where he thought that someone touched his nervegear. Crozeph then decided to survive in the game and eventually meet his friend again in the real world. This also made Crozeph decide to join a guild and aim for a position in the front lines to make his way out of the game.

Crozeph waved his hand as the player walks back into town "I'll run into him again somewhere" he said. Crozeph then decided to move to the higher floor in search of material for his armor that he'll be needing on his plan to take on a quest. "Now where should I start?" Crozeph entered a portal and was teleported to another floor.

Crozeph thought hard of what to eat but only one thing always pops out of his mind "a three layer sandwich" he said. Crozeph liked bread and he always eats anything called bread "but a stew would be nice" he thought. Crozeph followed them not having any idea of what to do, he was always alone playing and surviving and now that he joined a guild, he's still trying to cope up with joining groups "I guess this is how guilds work" he thought.

Crozeph made a faint nervous laugh, Arekkusu was right he had to feel like a kid again and besides their inside a supposed to be fun rpg game turned death game "I see it!" he exclaimed. Crozeph saw the lights getting brighter "finally a safe haven where i can buy bread" he said. As if by his deep longing for another bread that Crozeph began to speed up a little and slowly catching up with Arekkusu's pace "I feel like a kid again a little bit" he said. The wolf has already disappeared now that both of them are fast enough that it must've given up on catching them.

It's called Battle Healing, I'm still new to the feeling though" he said. This was the first time his battle healing activated after he gained access to it. Crozeph touched his shoulder as it fully healed "I figured that I'll be needing this in situations like this" he said. The last time he got bitten by the wolf almost it killed him which made decide to invest his skill points on the battle healing "you should get it too, that is if you don't have a high defense yet" he told Tom "you'll learn it soon enough."

"Too noisy" Crozeph said. He gripped his sword raised it and charged at the plant, his sword's sharp edge facing the the plant. Crozeph then raised his sword and slashed downwards making a crimson-colored dash appear cutting the plant in half. The monster shattered to pieces. Crozeph waited for a few seconds for a loot drop but nothing appeared. "That was disappointing" he said. Crozeph sheathe his sword and continued his walk deeper into the forest.

Crozeph patted Tom's shoulder "its fine, I messed it up the first time I tried it too" he said. Crozeph then lunged towards the wolf ready to finish it off. Crozeph then suddenly halted stopping a few feet in front of the wolf "not going down without a fight huh" Crozeph admired the wolf's determination to do what it was programmed to. Crozeph slashed at the wolf and the wolf buried its fangs at his shoulder. Crozeph smiled as the wolf tried to tear a chunk of flesh from him. Crozeph then buried the sword at the wolf's belly making it shatter to pieces. Crozeph sheathe his sword and and felt a sudden feeling that his wound is healing by itself.

Crozeph nodded at how the player executed the move "just keep on doing that and you'll raise your survival rate" he said "but you don't have to point it always, just use your weapon to defend and keep the safe distance" he said. Crozeph then turned his attention at the wolf and raised his sword. The wolf began to snarl and and charged at Crozeph "next survival tip, reaction time and timing" he said. The wolf began to kick its hind legs and aimed for Crozeph's head. Crozeph lowered his sword and quickly slashed upward cutting through the neck of the wolf sending it backas it receives his attack "your turn" he looked at Tom, "just relax and you'll be fine."

Crozeph was still standing there and this time he's eating another one of his bread then he heard the pink-haired girl talk again. "Pry him off?" he said. Crozeph looked at Arekkusu "he just sat there how could she say pry him of..." Crozeph swallowed hard "no I don't want to think about it" he said. Crozeph took a step forward but he hesitated again "she's letting the madness settle in" he thought. Crozeph wanted to say something also but seeing her mark as a PK made him feel a faint fear "she might stab me if I get near."

The plant had a hard time to stand up but eventually it managed to. It let out a screech so loud that the player covered his ears. Two vines suddenly came out of the ground and grazed the player's arm damaging him. The plant then moved forward to land a finishing blow but it was slow and some of its vines got tangled as it swings wildly around the forest.

Crozeph caught tom by the sleeve and yank him up before he could hit the ground "sorry about that" he said "I need to keep my sword pointed at the wolf" added as he points his sword at it. "I'll give you a tip I learned from my friend in the real world" Crozeph  moved his right foot forward to hit the wolf but the wolf moved back and sprinted to his right and tried to bite his arm off. Crozeph used his sword to block but the wolf was strong enough to get close and buried its fangs his arm. Crozeph moved back resulting for the wolf to stumble down "keep your sword pointed or your shields raised when an enemy is in front of you" he said "you'll take less damage that way" Crozeph may have failed on attacking the wolf but he was fast enough to shield himself from a serious attack. "Now it hit without hesitation and remember what I said" Crozeph then kept his distance from the wolf.

Crozeph listened to them as they talk about their equipments "shields..." he muttered. Crozeph never liked the idea of shields. It slows him down whenever he tries to maneuver his attacks but he likes parrying and blocking the opponent's attack with his sword. "Looks like you're planning to be a tank specialist" he said to them. "Not that I don't like them at all but if we go on dungeons you won't be expecting me to carry a shield" he said. Crozeph relied on his reactions and instincts but if the guild encourages using a shield, it won't do much to convince him. "So are we going to take on a huge monster?" he asked.

Crozeph held his breath and began running "running again" he said. He mentioned something about running but he didn't expect a race "I guess you take some things literally" he said as he tries to catch up with Arekkusu. Crozeph then heard a faint growl behind them and when he turned his head he saw a wolf chasing them "these wolves never quit do they? he said. Crozeph didn't plan anything about the wolf chasing them, they're already so close to a town and he liked the rush of excitement that he feels as the wolf tries to pursue them "too bad wolf" he said as he continues to run with Arekkusu.

(ooc: I'll spawn something strong since we can take on higher mobs now)

Crozeph blocked Tom with his right hand "there's something ahead of us" he said. Crozeph draw his sword and pointed towards the path ahead. A wasp and a wolf came out of the trees ahead of them, the wasp flying and the wolf snarling at them "something's off" he said. Crozeph studied the two monsters that just appeared in front of them "the wolf is from floor 3" he said. Crozeph then looked at Tom "here comes the party crashers" he said

Crozeph let out a sigh of relief "good thing I entered the right building, if it wasn't I would be running out before you know it" he said. Crozeph looked at Tom "nahh the help was nothing, besides I wouldn't call it success if there are only a few surviving players once the game is cleared" he said. Crozeph stood up in a proper way and greeted them all "the name is Crozeph and I'll be joining Tom's squad, I'll look forward to helping this guild conquer floors and help players" he said. This was his first time joining a guild and he didn't want to mess it up "now before I freeze to death" Crozeph closed the door and walked back inside. The place was not what he expected but somehow he felt the warmth of the place "what a nice place" he said.

Crozeph looked at his map and tried following the marker towards the guild HQ that Draterion gave to him after joining the guild. "Next time I'll go with other members" Crozeph said as he continues to walk. Crozeph then stopped and saw that the marker is just to his left, Crozeph then made a dismayed look "how long was I walking in circles?" he asked himself. Crozeph then looked at his left and saw a building. Crozeph blew the snow off his shoulders and walked towards the the door "am I fast enough to run once I realize that this is the wrong building?" Crozeph had a hard time pushing the door but he eventually opened it. He walked inside and saw players who are talking about something in their guild "is this the Tempest Lost HQ?" he said. Crozeph tried to ready himself "the moment someone says no, I'll make a run for it" Crozeph had no sense of direction and that goes the same on knowing his destination.

"Strong attacks, weak defense" Crozeph said as he charges at the plant at full speed and pointing down his sword. Crozeph moved his right foot forward and slashed upward hitting the plant from root to its head causing it to stumble down and make trees fall down behind it. "I've got to listen to her when she teaches me once I get out of this game" Crozeph said as he points his sword and fixes his eye on the plant trying to stand up. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" Crozeph said smiling at it.

Crozeph covered his face with his left hand "I may know a thing or two about battles but I easily get lost" he said. Crozeph walked out of the safe zone and followed the Tom hoping that he won't get lost also "I need to keep myself on guard though" he thought. Crozeph was strong enough in these floor but still he felt that he shouldn't stay complacent on the surroundings "danger never chooses floors, it everywhere" he said to himself.

hmmm join a squad maybe I'll think about creating one though...

The plant got pushed back after the player found an opening on its attacks. The plant quickly sprouted two more vines leaving no place for the player to attack. Six vines pointed to the player attacked him at once but the player rolled away closer to the plant. The plant now is open fir an attack as it had a hard time pulling out the vines buried to the ground and with that, the plant let out a screech to defend itself from the player's attack.

-sigh- I've been roaming around the game for too long alone, I guess its time to join and help liberate the trapped players here!!!

Crozeph understand why the player is acting like that to him and he couldn't blame him. "I'm just like you, stuck inside this game" he said "I decided to help you because I just felt that I have to." Crozeph gazed at the wide grassland that is before him "someone helped me when I was still like you" Crozeph said to the player "I just want to return the favor to him by also helping others" he added. Crozeph could still remember when he only had his starter pack and almost at the brink of dying until someone helped him. "Don't worry, if I had a yellow mark above my head then that means I'm a dangerous guy..." Crozeph smiled "...a player killer but I don't have it so you can breathe easily" Crozeph said "now where are we?" he asked. Crozeph scratched his head "don't tell me I got lost again" he muttered.

Crozeph was slowly recovering "no one knows that I'm wearing the nerve gear except..." Crozeph eyes widened. "We should make a run for the town" he said. Crozeph doesn't know how long he's gonna last running but he'll know that he won't last for a minute if he remains like this. Crozeph started running but on a slow pace with his sword in his hand ready for any attack. The night has finally settled and Arekkusu was right...everything is out kill the players here "I'll definitely take a day off after this" he thought.

"Maybe someone is touching my nerve gear in the real world" he said. Crozeph couldn't explain it and worse he wasn't sure on what really happened to him "or I'm just starting to feel tired after all the fight" he said. Crozeph can't let his friend down and take on the monsters all by himself "I'll try to be more careful this time" he said. Crozeph eyed the wolf who began to pounce at him and ducked before it could bite his head off. Crozeph slashed upwards causing the wolf to land badly on the grass "what a lucky bastard, the grass cushioned its fall" he said. Crozeph's vision isn't getting any better, if it was still day he would've had a higher chance of fighting them properly.
