There wasn't much in terms of structure in the immediate area, but he did notice a pile of supplies, and a weakened branch above from a nearby tree...with the possible weight of the limb, if enough gravity applied, dropping this limb might damage and disorientate the supplies they'd organized. Vigilon got to climbing up the tree slowly and carefully, and then began trying to cut the limb. The moment the snap sounded, Vigilon moved his position to hide himself and slid down as the limb fell upon the supply pile, disturbing the pile into a mess and possibly destroying a number of things aside fr

Vigilon breathed a sigh of relief. Looks like he could do more than just give these enemies a black eye. If he played his cards right, he might be able to cripple their encampment by laying waste to their structures when possible...depending on what he could and couldn't damage. He couldn't guarantee that every structure of these uprisers could be damaged or destroyed, but any way he could mess with them would be helpful to his current course of action. If he crippled their establishment, they would need to spend time repairing the damages before getting up to any further antics. That might sa

Vigilon could hear snoring. The lookout was asleep. Vigilon knew that the cliff he just climbed was a fair way down, and the tree was young enough to be as thick as the average tree. Well, as long as Vigilon didn't test his weapon's durability, then if tree chopping was anything like how it worked in games like Breath of the Wild, he might be able to control the fall of the tree, and thus the hut as well...a greater fall meant greater damage, so he needed to be precise in making sure this younger tree fell in the direction needed. Vigilon began attacking the tree, but stopped every four swings

Vigilon kept blocking and deflecting. "Wait for it...wait for it..." Vigilon saw both enemies wind up for an attack simultaneously. "...Now!" Vigilon swung his blade with force, knocking both his enemies back and leaving them open to his next sword art, which tore at them, one-shotting the spearman and finishing off the other. With both enemies obliterated, Vigilon looked to see if there was anyone in the lookout hut that witnessed the commotion of the fight. He didn't see anyone, but he needed to know for certain. He made his way over, slowly and carefully, climbing up the sto

Vigilon decided to try switching up his strategy. He would swiftly begin to circle the two enemies, then unleash his attack, knocking the HP of the enemy with the two jaw weapons into the yellow, but after that he'd get swatted in the face by the other's spear. Vigilon was knocked to the ground, but he managed to roll to the side to avoid the spear thrust aimed at him, he then got up and did a sweeping kick at the legs of the one he struck before said foe could strike with both, and he fell on his back, while Vigilon jumped back to get another look into the situation before attacking or dodgin

Vigilon turned to see he'd been spotted by two NPCs that were already heading over in his direction. "You there, stop!" One of them called out. Vigilon positioned himself, ready to take action if this got ugly. The other one would then speak. "You took the wrong way in, traveler." He began. "The jungle's quite the tricky place to navigate though, so I'll give you one chance. You looking to see anyone here? Someone you planned to meet with, or something of that manner?" He questioned. Vigilon knew this was gonna get ugly now. "Yeah," Vigilon revealed as he drew his sword. "Peony."

Vigilon decided to try scaling the barrier. He began by giving the barrier a once over as he began thinking about where he should start, then he positioned himself. He then jumped onto the barrier and managed to get himself a firm grip. He climbed slowly and did his best to avoid making too much noise, in case there was a potential threat on the other side. Soon, he found himself reaching the top of the barrier, but with little choice but to jump in order to reach the land on either side of the river. He could see one structure close by, a simple hut in one of the taller points of the immediat

While it was likely that there were many rivers on this floor, Vigilon had a fair guess that this one was the one he was looking for. He would follow the river, opposite to the direction of its flow. If one was making a settlement along a river next to a cliff, making the river be heading out of the settlement could be advantageous in defenses if they bothered to make any walls...but if the gap was poorly guarded, a cunning mind would be able to navigate their way in through the river gap without having to fight the river itself. This was all speculation of course, but it never hurt to guess.

One tree to the other, one tree to the next, branch to branch... Although Vigilon was definitely seeing a more straightforward manner of movement, this was still a fairly exhausting way to travel, not to mention there's the great heights to fall down below if Vigilon wasn't careful enough. He didn't have very much to break his fall. Luck doesn't stick around forever, however, so of course Vigilon would end up missing one branch, and proceed to fall until he gripped at a hanging vine. This vine was awfully large, however, an in a place like this, that'

Well, with that out of the way and making the area safer for others as well as for Vigilon, it was time to get back to the task at hand. He continued to try and traverse the expanse, but the deeper he got into the jungle, the more difficult the land was to scale. Vigilon took a moment to breathe, then decided to see if he could see anything more than treetops. Well, not necessarily, but after comparing his sights to the map, he at least had a fair idea of where to go next, if that waterfall at a mountain in the distance said anything. Maybe traveling by treetop would make this go faster. All h

Vigilon couldn't help but chuckle as the plant tangled itself up, unable to find out where its enemy was. But by wasting all this energy, time, and effort, some of the traps began withering, falling to the ground as they wasted their natural uses, until only two were left. Both waited a few seconds before advancing towards Vigilon, who simply managed to find enough space to avoid getting caught, and slashed at the traps every time they tried to clamp down. With all the limbs the plant needed to survive having withered or been destroyed by Vigilon, it could no longer sustain itself, and shatter

He kept an eye out everywhere he went, looking for any signs that Peony may be nearby, as he began his search for a river to follow. Not that it was easy, of course, this whole floor was a natural labyrinth. And sometimes keeping an eye out also means noticing a difference between thin foliage that looks oddly suspicious and thicker pairs of giant leaves that look definitely suspicious. Vigilon picked up a stone and threw it at the leaf, no immediate reaction, but it seemed to simply bounce off. Vigilon squinted at the strange leaves, then threw another stone. Same result. "If this is what I t

Vigilon knew that nearly any attack could become overkill at this rate, but what did he have to lose here? Nothing, unless luck decided to screw him over. Vigilon decided to make use of another sword art and finish off his opponent. Vigilon was slowly getting used to facing human opponents, he wasn't expecting to, however. For now, he'd just have to keep on going, keep on searching. Vigilon pulled his map up once again, and thought carefully about the general area. "I should look for a river." He decided. Disappearance, with no evidence of activity? Peony was definitely capture

Vigilon waited for the reaction. The reaction then came as the NPC readied his weapon. "Valus sent you? If he sent a single traveler to try and weaken us, he's gonna learn that he's sorely mistaken!" The NPC's cursor turned red, and the name displayed over the now hostile entity, <<Kabulo Spearman>> Ah, ok, so this was indeed an enemy. Vigilon readied his bone blade and the two fighters clashed. The Kabulo Spearman managed to get a pretty good hit against Vigilon, but Vigilon's sword art would prove to be enough of a retaliation to drop his HP into the

Vigilon decided to get up slowly, and keep his right hand ready to draw his weapon if the person turned out to be hostile. Valus did warn him of some troublemakers, after all. When Vigilon was able to see the person, there were differences between this person and the NPCs of Senimoh. Unless this was a special NPC, there was cause for suspicion here. There was no green cursor, so this wasn't a player either. "Heh...you lost, traveler?" He asked. Vigilon shook his head. "No, and I'm on important business, so if you'll excuse me-" "Hold on there," The NPC interrupted.
