Fae

Fae had been getting bored again with her floor 4 strolls, so she decided to try a different floor for some fun. Fae had yet to try floor 16, so she wandered her way over to the floor teleporter and went to floor 16. Stepping out, Fae changed into a pink two piece bikini to fit the weather. Fae headed for the beach, which was on the outside of the safe zone, so Fae could collect some materials as well while having fun in the sun. The child walked onto the sand with a beach ball, looking around to see if anyone else was there. No one else was at the beach, and Fae sighed. Fae kept a smile on her face as she walked up close to the shore and started hitting the ball up into the air, trying to keep it off the ground as long as possible. The sounds of the waves crashing and the seagulls in the distance filled Fae with a relaxing feeling as she hit the beach ball.

Fae had just previously taken the secret medicine of the forest quest recently, and it was a bit of a weird experience with her partner. The reward was just a simple sword with more damage, but Fae's dagger use made it pretty much impossible to use it. Fae was just heading out of the forest when she saw a request on the quest board which had been asking for help on the medicine quest by a player named Outlander. He was supposed to be at the local tavern, and Fae started to skip her way over to the tavern, already knowing where it was. Walking in, Fae noticed Outlander, based on his long sword. The little girl ran up to Outlander and tugged at his arm to get his attention, with Fae being too short to climb onto the seat. "Hi mister Outlander! Fae is here to help you out on this quest!" Fae introduced herself, looking up at Outlander with a big smile.

Fae watched the three rivers meeting swirl for a bit longer before getting back up and walking across the bridge with Eatos. The way the colors lined up together and mixed in such a pretty way just kept Fae fascinated, much like any small child would be. Eatos said that the rivers back home were frozen over a lot and Fae patted Eatos's arm as she walked. "That sorta stinks, but at least you got to see rivers. Fae lived in the big city, so Fae never really saw a river." Fae said, hoping to make Eatos feel better about her view of rivers. Fae petted Angel's back again before looking up at Eatos. "Why did you choose the name Angel mommy? Pin already told you about Trixie, so Fae wants to hear Angel's story." Fae asked, pointing at the husky.

I ended up getting griefer which kinda concerns me

Fae was still feeling so happy with Hei, and the way he said he would fight a dragon for Fae filled her with admiration. Hei already seemed like a great big brother figure to her. After she asked for him to sleep with her, Hei offered to let a light burn so it wouldn't be dark, Fae shook her head and tugged at his arm again. "Please mister Hei! Fae just wants to sleep with you tonight! Fae knows you'll keep Fae safe!" Fae begged. Fae then changed into her pajamas and hopped onto Hei's bed, getting underneath the blankets. Fae looked over at Hei and patted the open side of the bed,hoping for him to lay down. "Fae just wants to sleep with you mister Hei! Just for tonight pretty please?" Fae asked, sitting up straight and crossing her arms. If Hei wasn't going to sleep with her, then she would just get up and join him in his workshop.

Fae rubbed her tummy when she saw that Saphira had brought her a chocolate heart and a jam heart. "Thank you miss Saphira, Fae loves sweets!" Fae thanked as she started to nibble down on the jam heart, savoring the taste. Then Hei came along with lemonade, and Fae grabbed the glass and looked up at him. "Thanks mister Hei! How did you know Fae liked lemonade?" Fae thanked, taking a quick sip of lemonade. This party was turning out great so far, everyone was being so nice to Fae.

But then Tsu asked if she could join the guild and Fae lit up with even more excitement. "Ooh! Of course you can Froggy! As long as you haven't killed anyone, you're set to go! Just message mister Stryder. Or ask miss Eatos, she's around here somewhere." Fae told Tsu, looking around for the blue haired girl. Now there would be another buddy for Fae to play with in the guild.

Fae found it easy to believe Eatos when she said that they would be able to make a family work in this world. Even when things seemed unlikely, Fae chose to believe in the positive side of things,  refusing to side with the more negative ideas. "Yeah, it'll work. Maybe you, Fae, and daddy can all play on the 4th floor together. It'll be fun." Fae said as she walked onto the bridge that sat over the top of the intersection of rivers. Fae was living an illusion in this world, trying to picture bad things as good things, desperate to keep herself happy. Only two times in the span of her being in this game has she snapped. But they still worked out with Fae fine in the end. Fae pointed at the swirl of colors beneath the bridge, and stared curiously. "This is where the three rivers meet. It looks really pretty underneath the bridge." Fae said, crouching down to get a good look, patting Angel beside her.

Fae wasn't expecting all the attention she got from the announcement that Hei had made, with a lot of faces, old and new greeting her. Hei had said that he was going to get snacks, and Eatos was going with him. "Just bring Fae some cookies mister Hei! Fae is gonna go say hi to everyone." Fae called out before running off into the crowd to find all of the people that had greeted her. 

Fae first found Krysta, the girl she had seen at the Christmas party and waved at her, not saying anything and just letting her dance. Moving on, Fae found Yinangi again and gave her a quick wave too, but didn't say anything either, not really knowing who she was. Fae then ran close by to Hestia, but noticed she was slow dancing, so Fae left her alone as well. Fae walked around the party a little more, trying to find a player that wasn't occupied with anything. Fae spotted Tsu and ran up to her, noticing that she wasn't dancing. "Hey Froggy! Fae is glad to see you again! But, where's Pin? Fae saw you were just with him." Fae asked, briefly giving Tsu a hug and looking around the hall, trying to spot Pin.

Fae got off off of Hei's shoulders once they arrived at the hanger and she started to cool down on her excitedness once they walked inside of the shop. Hie told her that she could sleep on his bed while he would sleep in his workshop and that they would get a bed for her tomorrow, to which Fae nodded her head. "Okey dokey mister Hei. Fae can't wait for tomorrow then! It'll be just as fun as today was, just hopefully no meanie boar." Fae hugging Hei tightly for a few seconds before following him upstairs.

Once Hei had led Fae into his room, he told her that the bed would be hers for today. "Can you sleep Fae tonight please mister Hei? Pretty pretty please? Fae doesn't like sleeping alone. The dark is scary." Fae asked, tugging at Hei's arm a little bit, not wanting him to leave.

Fae didn't really see anything too wrong with changing in public, but she could tell that Pin wasn't okay with it. "What's wrong Pin? It's not like you can see Fae when Fae is changing. The menu hides the no no places." Fae said as she waited for Pin to change. He was in his casual clothes, which looked better than armor at least for the springs. One of the NPCs still wasn't okay with it and even reminded him that he wasn't supposed to wear clothes. Fae got a bit nervous when Pin seemed more threatening when talking to the NPC. Fae giggled a little bit when Pin stopped himself, knowing he was about to swear. He apologized, and then sat down beside her, not getting in the spring. "C'mon Pin, don't you wanna relax? Or is somethin' bothering ya?" Fae asked, pattinf the seat beside her for him to sit down.

@Pinball

Fae nodded in agreement when Hei objected to dropping her off at an inn with nobody either of them knew. "Yeah, Fae never thought about that. Fae will go with you instead mister Hei. You're a good guy, not a stranger." Fae said in agreement with Hei as he started to walk back towards the hanger. It seemed like almost everyone she met was super nice to her. Fae was liking Hei a lot more than most, just because he seemed nicer than most others.

Fae shook her head when Hei said that he would see if they could find her a better place than some inn. "No, Fae wants to stay with you mister Hei! I know you won't hurt Fae, so Fae wants to stay with you!" Fae exclaimed, sitting up straight now. She took her hands of Hei's head and let them fall to her sides as she loiked forward. Fae could see the shop again, hopefully where she could stay for a while.

Fae was still a little bit confused why Pin was acting more nervous than usual, but she just dismissed it as Pin being his usual nervous self and kept her cheery attitude up. Pin told her that it would be fine and Fae nodded. "As long as you're okay with it Pin." Fae said as she started to skip once Pin let go of her hand. Fae couldn't tell what he was looking at, but it was probably just something or someone he recognized, that's what Fae passed it off as. She wanted to ask questions, but she didn't want to make Pin more nervous than he already was.

Fae gave her answer to Pin immediately when he asked the last time she hung out with someone in the guild. "It was a couple days ago. Fae was looking for a familiar with mommy Eatos. We weren't too successful. Fae was gonna get a chinchilla named Trixie, but Fae never got to find one, maybe next time Fae will." Fae answered as they arrived at the hot springs. Pin asked how they worked, and Fae giggled a little bit. "They don't really 'work' a way. You just put on a towel or swimsuit and sit down in them. Let's take one of the empty pools." Fae explained as she opened her menu and changed into just a towel and led Pin over to one of the small springs and sat down inside. There were a few NPCs in the other springs, but there didn't seem to be any other players.

@Pinball

Fae was getting a magical feel from riding in the carriage, with Fae feeling like a fairy tale princess while riding in it. It was fun, and Fae enjoyed riding so much just getting to live out a fairy tale experience. "Thank you for all this mister Hei, this is super cool!" Fae thanked, hugging Hei before they got out of the carriage and walked up to the hall. Fae grabbed his hand as they got down and followed Hei inside the hall. As soon as they stepped in, Fae was a bit surprised when Hei got everyone's attention. Fae was even more surprised when Hei announced her presence. Looking at the crowd of people in masks, Fae decided to keep her act as the princess of the new dawn. Fae walked in a graceful manner, and made her way over to Eatos, who she recognized by the blue hair and suit. Fae then noticed Saphira as well and gave her a hug, before giving Eatos a hug as well. "Hi miss Saphira, it's great to see you here! You too mommy, Fae didn't know if you were gonna come!" Fae greeted cheerfully before taking a few steps back and turning to Hei. "Isn't this great mister Hei? Some of the guild is already here. Fae wonders if mister Stryder is gonna come." Fae said, hopping up and down with excitement.

Fae looked up at the sky, and then back at the town, taking in the view. Fae kept her hands on Hei's head, leaning forward a little bit as she looked around to keep her balance. Hei told her that they could do more things like this in the future, which just got Fae more excited. "Oh boy, we can? That's great! Fae loves having fun with you mister Hei, you're so nice." Fae said, ruffling up his hair a little bit as Hei carried her back to town.

Fae paused for a little bit when Hei asked her where she was staying, so he knew where to bring her. "Umm, Fae doesn't really have a place mister Hei, Fae has just been staying at inns. You can just drop Fae off at one of them if that's okay with you." Fae answered, before humming to herself as she took in the view again.

Fae smiled and did a quick curtsie when Hei said that she looked good in her dress. She decided to try and pretend to be a princess for today, and carry herself in a more pompous manner. "Thanks mister Hei, you look good in your outfit too! Fae likes fancy mask parties, you can blend in with anyone else with your mask easily." Fae said, trying to stand up straight. Everyone who knew her would recognize Fae as soon as she arrived, just because of her height. But this was about having fun, maybe she could sit on Hei's shoulders and be in sight of everyone. Hei then brought up the idea of the two of them arriving in a carriage to the ball for them to seem like royalty. Fae nodded eagerly at the idea of a carriage and hopped up and down excitedly. "Yes! That would be lovely! Everyone would see Fae as the fair princess of Aincrad." Fae answered, before doing another curtsie and laughing.

Fae couldn't help but feel the need to explain what she was trying to do when she tried to pick up Hei. "Fae was trying to pick you up and twirl you like an airplane. Fae's daddy does that whenever Fae does something good, so Fae wanted to try and do it with you since you killed that boar." Fae explained, while scratching the back of her head and laughing a little bit more. Fae just had thought of the idea of doing it, despite the fact that Hei was more than double her size. It could never hurt to try things like that.

Hei told Fae that he would protect her until she was strong enough and she nodded her head. "Ooh! So you'll be like Fae's big brother? Just watching out for Fae? That sounds like fun!" Fae exclaimed, getting excited at the idea. Fae felt herself being lifted up and put on Hei's shoulders, making her laugh even more out of joy. "Fae can see so high from here! Thank you mister Hei!" Fae thanked, enjoying the view from his shoulders.

Fae hadn't really been to any parties as of late, only going to the Christmas party and Halloween party, the former being hosted by her guild. Fae had been sitting in the Hanger when Hei walked in and told her about the masquerade ball and asked if she wanted to go to it. Fae perked up, getting excited immediately. She had already seen the flyers around about it, Fae just didn't want to go alone. Now that Hei was going, Fae had someone to go with. Fae nodded her head opening her inventory and changing into her favorite white dress. Before Hei left into the workshop, Fae showed him a drawing of a mask and asked him to make it.

When Hei came back, he had on his purple suit, and he had Fae's mask ready as well. "Thanks mister Hei! Let's go to the ball! This is gonna be super duper fun!" Fae exclaimed as she walked out the door of the shop, skipping with a huge smile as usual.

@Hei

Fae watched as Hei got bit by the boar and she flinched a little bit. Despite that Hei had a large health bar that was still in the green, Fae couldn't help but feel bad for him, knowing that the pain was still at least slightly present. Hei took out the boar on his next hit, and Fae clapped a few times. "Good job mister Hei! You finally took out that speedy boar!" Fae applauded, giving him a thumbs up before running up to him and wrapping her arms around him. She tried to lift him up, but could only get him about half an inch off the ground before falling backwards and rolling back on the ground. Fae sat up and laughed a little bit before standing up. "Fae thought she could pick you up, but Fae isn't strong enough at all." Fae said as she walked back up to Hei and looked up at him with her smile.

Fae kept trying to remember what her mom and dad even looked like, but she kept drawing blanks. Now she only could see Eatos and Thorsten as her parents. Eatos told her that she would see them again and that Fae would play with them. "Fae can't see them anymore in her head. All Fae can see now is you and Thorsten in her memories. What if they forgot about Fae? No, they wouldn't. Fae is gonna try to stay positive. As long as Fae is with you and daddy, nothing can go wrong. We can be a happy family in this world." Fae said, holding onto Eatos's hand a little bit tighter for a few seconds. She was feeling scared, but Fae kept a big smile and pushed her feelings of sorrow aside.

Fae noticed Angel do a little scoff, so she let go of Eatos's hand and petted the husky on the head for a little bit. Fae looked in the distance and saw the little bridge where the three rivers intersected. "Ooh! We're almost at the middle of the floor! We can head down the white river, since that one heads south. One step closer to getting Trixie!" Fae exclaimed skipping ahead of Eatos a little bit.

Fae was about to send Pin a third message to ask if he was okay, but just before she could send it, Pin materialized from the floor teleporter and Fae hopped off of the bench she was sitting on. It was good to see him again, but something seemed off about Pin today, like he looked even more nervous than usual, as if something was bothering him. Fae ran up to Pin and gave him a big hug, looking up at him with her usual big smile. "Hi mister Pin! What's with the scary face? You look like you just watched someone die. Cheer up! We're here to have fun and relax!" Fae asked, before trying to comfort him a little bit. She grabbed his hand and nodded over in the direction that they were supposed to go to get to the hot springs. "You should stay on guard mister Pin, the NPCs on this floor are kinda meanies towards players." Fae warned, looking back at the town's NPCs closely, a bit worried.

Fae watched Hei take his weapon back out while she caught her breath after her previous attack. The boar missed Hei yet again, and Fae stood up straight after catching her breath. He told her to attack one last time before he finished it off Fae nodded and charged at the boar again, swinging her dagger back before slashing forward at the boar, getting a nice clean cut on the side. "Yeah! Fae did it again mister Hei!" Fae cheered as she ran past the boar after slashing it to avoid any attacks. Fae ran up to Hei and stood beside him to catch her breath again. She didn't sit down, but she just leaned up against Hei for a few seconds. "This boar is almost through mister Hei, you got this!" Fae cheered Hei on, raising her fist into the air, it barely reaching Hei's shoulder because of her height.

Fae embraced the hug even more, keeping the side of her head against Eatos's hip. Now she had two parents in this world that she could turn to. Looking back, Fae wasn't going to be able to keep up with her happy attitude at all if Thorsten and Eatos hadn't taken up the role as her parents. "Thank you so much mommy. It's because of you and daddy that Fae can stay happy. Fae wouldn't know what to do with herself if Fae didn't have you guys around. It's been so long since we've been in the game, Fae can't even remember her real mommy and daddy's names, or even what they looked like. Fae loves you guys so much." Fae said, a bit of a sombre when mentioning her actual parents. 

Angel had barked once, but he stopped immediately, and Fae couldn't tell why, not catching the glare. Fae continued to hug Eatos for another half minute before letting go of her. Fae looked around the woods, still not seeing any chinchillas at all. "Aww phooey, Fae can't find any chinchillas around here. We should keep going further mommy, maybe that's where they all hide." Fae suggested, starting to skip again alongside Eatos, still holding her hand.

Fae noticed the shocked look that Eatos had when she asked if Eatos could be her mother. Thorsten wasn't really surprised when she asked, so Fae flinched a little bit when Eatos looked shocked. "It's okay mommy, Fae never said you had to love mister Thorsten. Fae just wanted to call you mommy." Fae said as she walked up to Eatos's side and grabbed her hand. 

Eatos said that Fae could stay with her, and paused after addressing being a mother. Fae was filled with anxiousness during the paused, looking up at Eatos anxiously. Eatos said that she couldn't promise to be a good mother, but she could still take care of Fae while she was able to. Fae took that as a yes and hugged Eatos gratefully. "Yay! Love you mommy! We can get through this together!" Fae exclaimed cheerfully as she hugged Eatos tightly, feeling so many emotions right now.

Fae got excited when she saw that Pin had already responded to her message after a few minutes. "Maybe Pinny got caught up in something again. He was probably out fishing again." Fae said to herself as she opened the message with a quick two taps. Pin said that he was going to be there in a bit in the message, Fae nodded, despite Pin not actually being present. It was just a silly habit of hers. Fae wasn't really concerned if Pin was okay, since the message was short. If he was in trouble, it would be a long explanation, knowing Pin. Looking around the cavern, Fae was captivated by the crystal lights in the ceiling. Fae opened her messages again, and sent Pin another message. Bring a swimsuit too mister Pin! The hot springs don't provide them. Fae sent it, and then went back to swinging her legs back and forth and humming to herself on the bench.

@Pinball

Fae had been doing her best to get to know everyone in the guild. She went out hunting with mister Hei, familiar scouting with miss Eatos, played in the snow with Thorsten, and went to the hot springs with Stryder. This whole guild was working great for Fae, and it was helping her stay positive. There was another person in the guild that Fae wanted to get to know better, Pinball. Fae had seen Pin before, and she thought that they were friends so far. Now, Fae wanted to get to know him one on one. The hot springs with Stryder worked out, so Fae decided that she would take Pin there as well. He seemed more of the shy type, so maybe hanging out with him just by themselves would be more comfortable for him. Fae was standing outside of the floor teleporter on floor 21, sitting on the same bench she sat on while waiting for Stryder. Fae opened her messages and scrolled down to Pinball. Hey mister Pin! Can you come up to the 21st floor please? Fae wants to hang out with you today! Fae sent the message, and then leaned back in the bench. All she had to do now was wait for him.
