  1. It had been quite some time since Vigilon and Krysta had been to the sixteenth floor of Aincrad. The thought of returning there brought memories of the day where one player orchestrated a large event for the playerbase. Perhaps it might be a fair idea to see if they still live on the floor after all this time?

    For the time being, Krysta checked her gear, as to make sure she was prepared for the exploration phase of this trip. The twenty-fourth floor was more popular among players for the guaranteed safe zone along its beaches, but if there was an area of this floor with similar properties, it may be possible to stabilize the "crowds" of players seeking a calm environment to relax in...in which Vigilon and Krysta would be able to have quite an opportunity with, as the first ones to the locale...of course, if either player felt like inviting a friend or two, that shan't be a problem regarding the scenario. It was to be a summer break, this wasn't a date...though there might be one if the two are lucky enough.

    Upon reaching the floor, she would soon find Vigilon inspecting a stone formation. "Alex! Over here!" She called out with a wave as she ran over towards him.

  2. The player would bow slightly while averting his eyes, as though the situation had become awkward. He explained how this was his first time to the fifth floor, and that the opportunities within this market may prove beneficial to his crafts as a tailor.

    Before Krysta could respond, the player spoke again, claiming that he was here to handle a quest, which seemed to entail that he may have been on the verge of sidetracking. With that, he would get up from his bow and introduce himself as Zenshu.

    Krysta made a mental note of how Zenshu's eyes never met hers, but this could have easily been a trait from a similar condition to the spectrum that one of her newer friends, Astralin, might have been under. Since the player had bowed, Krysta, somewhat confused, would give a slight curtsy in response. As Zenshu had now introduced himself, Krysta would respond in kind. "It is a pleasure meeting you as well. I am Krysta."

    Zenshu would take a moment to look at his surroundings, before speaking again, explaining the quest he had come for to the best of his ability, before showing the quest to Krysta. Once that was done, he immediately began speaking of how he had never been beyond the first floor, or far from the Town of Beginnings. "It certainly can be a wonder." Krysta noted in response to him being amazed by this environment which he was new to. "Each floor is its own realm, with its own culture, people and possibilities." She added. "Perhaps it would have even been beautiful...had it not been for the matter that we were trapped here with the potential of death, against our will, forced to fight or remain imprisoned for the rest of our days..." She trailed off slightly at the end, then she needed to get her mind back onto the subject. "I do not have any matters pressing upon me, for the moment, so perhaps you wouldn't mind if I came along on the quest?"

    @Zenshu

  3. Quite a few memories were made on this desert floor...such a shame that very few of them were pleasant. So much had prevented Krysta from properly exploring the fifth floor of Aincrad, so it was time she return to this sand-covered floor, that she may find something worth doing. It was very likely that much would have changed after that black storm that was followed by the literal transformation of this virtual prison in its entirety.

    Arriving in the safe zone, at the teleport gate, Krysta would first take a short walk to look around to see if there were any immediate signs of any drastic changes. There didn't seem to be much, at first. The settlement had its usual air around it. Upon arriving at the bazaar, the eyes of several merchants turned to her, as if sizing her up. They displayed and offered the various trinkets, jewelry and goods they were selling as Krysta walked by, but she could only decline politely so many times before it began to become irritably repetitive.

    She soon noticed a player in her field of vision, who seemed to be attempting to refocus himself, to which Krysta believed he might have been sidetracked by the merchants' offerings. "Pardon me, but are you having trouble with the multitude of merchants?" She asked as she approached the player. "I only ask because you appear to be having difficulty keeping focus, from what little I can tell."

  4. Luminous Linens

    TSI1.png

    Within the grand city of Taft, among several other structures near its market, there is a building that seems to stand out somewhat. One can find evidence of a player's presence just by looking at its front. In front of its two windows are planters with Amaryllis, Anthurium, and Lilacs growing within. Above the door is a sign that reads, "Luminous Linens", allowing any passerby to identify it as a tailor shop.

    If someone were to enter, they would find themselves within a well-kept, somewhat extravagant interior. The windows were large enough to let in daylight, but on the occasion that said daylight would not reach the interior, there are some other forms of lighting that give off a soft, gentle white light to the area. In front of the counter, there was a sofa and two chairs, as well as a floor rug that the shop's owner switches throughout the days, not to mention a divider for those who wished to try on clothing, cloth armor or light armor, not to mention a full size mirror for those wanting to get a glimpse of themselves wearing a product they might be willing to purchase. Of course, there was also equipment in stock that was displayed near the counter. The counter itself was decorated mainly with a few small vases containing white and yellow roses, and occasionally, one might find a small, ruby red feathered dragon resting on the counter, although it may awaken upon noticing someone had entered the shop, and watch the player either curiously or cautiously(unless she happens to know the player and considers them a friend, that is). Behind the counter was often storage space for excess stock, but it was spacious enough for there to be a path to the end of the wall, where there is a staircase that leads to the structure's second story, which is used as a workshop and as living quarters for the shop's owner.

    Upon entering the shop, Players can find Krysta(usually behind the counter) greeting them with a soft, warm smile.

    "Welcome, Traveller, to Luminous Linens. How may I assist you?"

  5. The door would open, and a woman in a tracksuit would greet Krysta, letting her know that the Host was missing for the moment, but also letting her in. However, said host quickly returned, making an attempt at a curtsy. The meaning was just able to get across to Krysta though, so Krysta would curtsy as well. The host would introduce herself as Nari-Lanreth, and state that there were refreshments out, as well as a few players present. She then introduced the woman in the tracksuit as NIGHT, stating that said woman was her Companion, as she seemed to claim. She also introduced her to a Ginger named Jomei, and noted that Yona was around, too, despite the apparent lack of her presence. While this was a fair amount to take in at once, Krysta should be able to respond properly. "It is a pleasure to meet you all, I am Krysta." She began.

    @NIGHT @Jomei

    Before she could continue, Yona returned to the room, and the host would wave to her. Yona would wave back, before walking over to join in the conversation. Nari noted to Krysta that she was aware that different people celebrated different occasions during this season. It was true, as Krysta was one such person... Nari proceeded to offer best wishes to Krysta for this coming season of Spring. "Thank you, and may your days in the coming season be blessed as well." Krysta returned with a soft smile. Yona then greeted Krysta, asking her how she'd been. "I have been doing well so far, how about you?" Krysta responded. Yona then began to speak of Estates with Nari. She seemed a bit excited about it... She couldn't help but wonder why, but for the time being, it was not a question for Krysta to ask.

    @Nari-Lanreth

  6. No one Krysta knew seemed to have any plans for the next day. Perhaps the consistent need to train had taken its toll on the players she knew? Whatever the case, she simply stood and stared at the message. It could not have possibly been Krysta's first choice as to how she would deal with the lack of plans...but it was certainly an option, since there was indeed nothing else to do. Even Vigilon was busy, somewhere in Aincrad, helping out another player or two, although, based on what other messages she'd received, it seemed to take longer than a single day.

    Day of the Celebration:

    Krysta stood, despite the freezing chill of the floor's wintry conditions. Thankfully, only a light breeze seemed to be blowing. She chose to stand here and witness the sunrise before actually going inside. The estate was in sight, but still a fair distance away. Krysta watched, and waited. She must never forget her own interpretation of this day's importance. Then, at last, the sun came into view as dawn broke through. Krysta stared off into the distance. "And on the third day, he rose from the grave..." She recalled. She spent a moment in silence, then she moved on, heading for the estate.

    This party she'd heard of may be a way to spend some time with other people, but she had to admit to herself, she was nervous. She moved through the freezing conditions, the chill moving through her avatar as she walked in the snow. As cold as it was, it wasn't painful...although it did tingle beyond a few inches above her ankles. Hopefully she wouldn't end up taking any hypothermal damage as she approached the location of the event.

    When she arrived, she made her way over to the door, and knocked with slight hesitation.

  7. Cleo remarked that the two players seemed to be naturals at this profession. This was a game, so there was a chance that the system had simplified the process. Not only that, but Krysta had experience from her past, she had made garments before, though there were often simple yet elegant. Extravagant apparel was something Krysta had yet to tackle in terms of tailoring...but maybe the sight of those undeniably lovely gowns during the demonstration might be enough to encourage the young noble to expand the horizons of her new profession.

    Cleo brought her hand towards Krysta for a high five, and Krysta would position her hand to receive it. Her next question would earn a small laugh from the NPC before he returned to the counter back within the store. Krysta's smile remained. This task was completed, and now she could create enhanced apparel at long last...though it was likely to be some time before she could create something within her level. Perhaps she could start with assisting new players?

    Krysta then noticed a Friend Request appear in front of her. At first, Krysta was confused as to who the sender was, then she broke into a smile and suppressed a chuckle at the realization that the name Cleo gave was her actual name and not her username...not that Krysta minded, of course. "Certainly." Krysta answered, pressing Accept on the Friend Request prompt. "It was a pleasure meeting you, and if you need my help again, or simply need a companion to tag along on your exploits, feel free to send me a message."

  8. Krysta drew her blade, it was now her turn to pitch in to the fight with a more offensive course of action. With herself and five allies under the effects of her barrier, the players stood a fair chance at surviving any swarming assaults. Vigilon, Baldur, and Calrex all took action to dispatch the enemy's Elite Guards. While there were more elite foes attempting to guard the Tyrant, their focus was on the Blunet. This was Krysta's chance. She began with Celestial Sweep while the guards' were distracted, Holy Energy arced across the blade as she struck the third one. A flash of light as she used Radiant Strike on the second. Krysta took a deep breath as she readied her next art. "...Luna Regalia..." She spoke as to keep her focus on which art she would be using next. Light shone from her weapon as she struck three of the elite guards, and surely her enemies would be weakened. Just about any attack would finish them now. She readied herself, and took position, waiting for the right moment. "Your defeat is at hand!" She declared to the enemy forces.

    1559577481_Screenshot2021-04-069_38_48PM.png.d6c350157f218b7c5db710cc5c7158d2.png

    "And I shall not hesitate to finish this!"

  9. Having broken through the enemy's blockade, Krysta would make her way through the interior of the ship. An occasional soldier would meet his end at Krysta's blade, but so far, it seemed that most of the enemies had assembled themselves in the breaches, which made sense. As she pressed forward, however, she would soon collide with a familiar face.

    The redheaded pirate from earlier. the two began to untangle their limbs from this...uncomfortable position, not only because they both had matters to attend to, but because the physical contact was quite unnerving. ...But perhaps Krysta should be thankful that it was merely the two colliding into each other, rather than into someone else simultaneously?

    The redhead's recognition of Krysta seemed rather derogatory. "The name is Krysta." The young noble would say, before the redhead would rather awkwardly claim she was glad the players made it this far in one piece, before swiftly saying her farewell and bolting in the direction of the control room. This wasn't exactly a competition, what was with the sudden rush and leaving potential allies in the dust?

    @Celeste

    The players would rendezvous with the Gabrandr entity by chance, and he would break open the door for the players. Krysta would at last see her enemy. Grand Imperiator Razwell III would claim that the players came for power. "Within my eyes, this 'Power' you speak of matters not. My concern is for all the innocent lives you and your lot have oppressed, leeched from, conquered and even slaughtered for nothing more than your greed and personal gain which fuels your tyranny!" Krysta declared.

    Razwell would raise a suspicious stone into the air, claiming that the "Lords of Fate" gave it to him for Galtea's destruction, that Destiny was within his grasp. "Your arrogance has consumed you, for you know nothing of Destiny. It is not something one could ever hope to control." Krysta shot back. The NPC Tyrant would send winds to push back the players, and some of the players around attempted to disable his power source. The Elite Guardsmen that stood firm to protect their leader would surely make this battle difficult.

    Thus, to start things off, Safety First.

    Krysta placed her hands together as she closed her eyes, focusing one of her support abilities. "May Divine Light protect us all!" She spoke, and five players, along with her, were enveloped in a soft glowing blue aura.

    Krysta casts Barrier on herself, @Vigilon, @Jomei, @Oji, @Calrex and @Baldur

  10. Once she reached the safe zone, Krysta took a quick moment to exchange the tusk she'd obtained for a much more usable fabric. Once that was taken care of, the two players made their way back to the NPC's shop. Cleo opened the door and held it open for Krysta. "Ah, thank you." Krysta said with a smile to the player for her act of kindness. The NPC, Richard Textillion, was behind the counter, tending to a wondrous gown, green in color. Krysta somehow found herself staring, and she was also fairly tempted to ask the NPC if he had such a dress within his stock that was white in color, but Krysta remembered why she was here, to learn how to form enhanced equipment that only tailors could make.

    Cleo announced to the NPC that both players had accomplished their tasks in gathering. Richard would lead the two players over to the back, where there were two workstations set up within. The NPC would demonstrate the process, which Krysta was fairly aware of. What came out was quite the stunning piece, and also happened to be a gown which was white in color. Oh, goodness....

    The NPC gestured for the two players to head over to their designated workstations which he'd provided for the Quest. Cleo whispered to Krysta that the NPC seemed rather intense. "It would seem so, but I must admit, his skill is quite admirable." Krysta responded as she sat down at her workstation. Krysta would pull out a material she was used to working with...

    The result was a fair success. Krysta now held up the white cloak she'd made as to take a better look at it. Cleo soon asked Krysta about the beanie she'd made. "Why, it looks very nice, good work!" Krysta complimented. "May I ask what you think of this here?" She asked Cleo.

    After whatever answer would be given, the NPC would return to see how the players have managed. He looked to both players and their work. "Hmm...not bad, not bad at all! You didn't even take nearly as long as expected, either of you. Might I add, that among the more recent people who have come to me asking to become tailors, that you two just so happen to be among the most competent?" He remarked. He proceeded to clap one hand on the shoulder of each player simultaneously. "Such promising work, both of you. Keep practicing, and you may just be as good as me one day!" He declared. "Now then, that's about all I can teach you. Good luck out there!"

  11. "I do hope that you jest," Krysta said in response to Cleo's words. "I would rather not find myself in a scenario where one tried to murder another within the safe zone, not that it would succeed." Cleo suggested heading back, and Krysta did not hesitate to agree. "Certainly. At least out on the open wilds of Aincrad you can see something approaching, rather than overgrown riverbanks where something could easily be hiding within." She remarked.

    As the players started to head back to the Starting City, Krysta happened to spot more cotton. How did she not notice this here on the way to the riverbanks? She would walk over to it as to harvest the cotton from the plant, and then she would return to Cleo's side as to assure that if anything else dared to show up, the player was safe.

    Thankfully, it would seem that no nearby creatures along the road were on the intent of becoming hostile and attacking.

  12. Krysta was in need of one more material, but the issue was finding it before the game chose to spawn another dangerous monster. She could only hope that such a goal could be accomplished in time. Cleo agreed that the two players should retreat back to the safe zone once all of the required materials were gathered. She also noted that she would keep the incident under wraps, that the knowledge of her being flipped over by the beast to the point where the asymmetric skirt of her battledress had fallen in the wrong direction, would be considered confidential. Finally, Cleo asked if Krysta managed to obtain anything from the monster. "It dropped some leather and a tusk. I might be able to get the tusk exchanged for a material of equal or lesser rarity with an NPC, but as for the rest, it would seem the beast was rather destitute, not that it had any use for wealth or weapons..." Krysta explained. A quick glance around and there were no materials within plain sight. Thus the search would have to continue. "At this rate, anything may do, there is no telling when another monster may choose to assault one of us."

  13. The NPCs that were onboard the airship would disembark as to assist in the assault. Seeing that all the players had also chosen to infiltrate the enemy's capital ship, this was to be expected.

    As the enemy Blockade completed formation, the Ginger player from earlier would land from above and begin fighting the soldiers from behind. This surprise back attack would catch several enemies off guard, and Vigilon took the opportunity to strike where they were weak on his end.

    Krysta rushed in to strike down four of the shielded soldiers. Two were slain, and two were knocked to the walls. The enemy forces would hastily reposition themselves to close the gap. Then a voice came from behind them. "Let me handle this one."

    Krysta stepped back, and the soldiers stepped aside long enough for a tall, heavily armored figure to walk up to her. "What is someone like you doing, fighting against the Empire of Ladonia? Tell me, girl, where did you come from?" The metal clad soldier demanded. "The land I come from is far away. You'd never be able to reach it if you tried." Krysta answered. The soldier scoffed. "I see...unusual answer...no matter.... Why would someone such as yourself have any concern for these Galtean filth?" He questioned. Krysta's eyes narrowed as they started to come ablaze. "They are not filth." Krysta began. "They are people. People whom your lot had mistreated, and proceeded to attempt genocide upon." Krysta readied her Sword Art. "I shall not stand idly by while innocent people suffer, under monsters in human form like yourselves!"

    With that, she unleashed her attack. Due to it being Celestial Sweep, an Area of Effect Sword Art, two of the blockade soldiers were caught in the crossfire. The tall, heavily armored foe took less damage than expected, however. Krysta raised her weapon to block his sword, which was an impractically thick and large one at that. This was one of many reasons why Krysta switched from Rapiers to Swords some time ago. while the weapon had an air of elegance to it, and was finely crafted, the blades were slender, and thus would not last long if raised to block against monstrous weapons like the one her foe was using in this moment. The armor clad soldier blocked Krysta's next attack and proceeded to strike back at her, sending her flying several meters. Krysta attacked with Radiant strike, and jumped out of the way from the enemy's next attack. "How foolish of you, to think you could win against me. No man has been able to best me!" The heavily armored soldier boasted. "Then it is a good thing I am a woman, isn't it?" Krysta remarked. She then readied her more powerful Single Target Sword Art, Divine Smite. Holy Energy arced across the blade as she struck her opponent. A burst of bright light shone intensely, and the force of the impact sent a shockwave of air in a spherical pattern, a shockwave which disoriented several of the blockade's soldiers. The heavily armored soldier was no more, and the disoriented soldiers were no match for another execution of Celestial Sweep.

    With a gap properly opened, and this time there was not enough garrison to fill said gap, it was time to push forward. Krysta raised her weapon into the air, the blade gleaming in the light that shone in from outside. "Onward, to the control room!" She called out to all that were present, before moving into the rest of the ship as she began making her way to the control room. Any soldiers who remained within the hangar bay were likely to fall to the players' blades.

  14. Cleo called out from her cover, asking Krysta if she was alright. "So far, I remain unharmed." She answered. The boar would begin to turn around to face Krysta. Krysta would set herself right and get back up, before readying her sword art and striking down her foe. The battle-hardened monster let out a shrill, final squeal. It was almost at an ear-piercing pitch, but as the sound continued, it lessened in intensity until it diminished entirely, as the beast fell down before it shattered.

    Despite this creature being a battle-hardened, perhaps entirely malevolent beast, this monster turned out to be rather destitute. At least it had two materials Krysta had use for, but she considered that it wasn't worth the risk of a low-level having gotten rather uncomfortably close to a quick yet horrific demise. She inhaled, and then exhaled. "We should do what we can to finish up quickly." She suggested. "I'd rather not have a close call such as this one again."

  15. Krysta's priority for this was to end without any real problems. If Krysta could get something worthwhile from this monster upon killing it, it would be a fair compensation for having had to fight it in the first place. Tension rose as both Krysta and the monstrous boar slowly walked towards the side, circling around the general area as each waited for the other to make a move. Soon, Krysta moved in to strike. She rushed towards the monster, and the boar moved its tusks in position, and when Krysta reached the monster, it attempted to disarm her. Krysta held on to her weapon rather tightly, and thus it only managed to cause her to tumble over the beast's back, landing after the stumble had flipped her over. "This...is one of many reasons why I wear tights under my battledress..." Krysta thought. Indeed, she had been flipped upside down by this misfortune, and thanks to the white tights she was wearing, what should not be seen, remained unseen.

  16. As each player began dealing with the garrison and the barricading soldiers among them, it would seem that the enemy forces behind the shielded soldiers were attempting to regroup as to fend off the players. Krysta had to look for a way to clear a path for her allies. Vigilon seemed focused on one portion of the garrison forces, but unlike solid objects, groups of soldiers could more easily cover weaknesses and attempt to bolster themselves where needed.

    Then came the arrival of an airship in the bay. Krysta turned to see a few players disembarking. Perhaps unexpected reinforcements had arrived. Krysta would wave over to the other party. "We could use your assistance in breaking through!" She called out. "Our parties may be stronger together than they are apart!"

    @Baldur @Hirru

    With that, she then ran off to continue assisting her party against the Garrison. The barricade sent to stop her had only just taken position when Krysta struck with Celestial Sweep. Holy energy arced across her blade as two of them were struck down. The last one was knocked aside several meters from the impact, and Krysta then continued towards the remaining forces as to assist Vigilon and the ginger player. Perhaps with the other party's assistance, this should take little to no time at all.

  17. Cleo scoffed at Krysta's words, but then the boar emerged to prove the point Krysta had made. Once the monster was in sight, Cleo heeded Krysta's words, and remarked that she'd never before seen such a monstrosity like this creature.

    Cleo called out for Krysta to be careful, to which she would nod in agreement. She then kept her eyes on the monster, waiting for its next move. Why such an atrocity would even walk upon this floor, of all places, was a mystery... The only possible reason for such a horrific beast to be here at this moment, why it would have to have been the Cardinal's doing, would it not? After all, only the Cardinal could balance creatures it spawned to the nearby players, no matter how strong.

    The boar simply watched Krysta, as though it awaited her course of action. It seemed that taking action was the only way to end this little standoff here. Krysta moved in to attack, then the boar jumped back, before lunging towards Krysta. Another well-timed block would prevent the monster's attack from reaching anyone. Hopefully Krysta could finish this quickly.
