  1. Krysta did not feel as though leaving behind the players she had brought over was the best option, but it was true that someone needed to look after the ship and the allied NPCs on board. She would look towards both players after Vigilon ran off to pursue his goal. "While it is true that someone must look after the Airship and its impromptu allied crew, I shan't judge either of you, should you choose to join us in assaulting the Ifrit instead." She told them.

    @Jomei @Oji

    Following Vigilon, she would jump off to board the Ifrit within its docking bay. Vigilon had just rushed straight into the fray, which made sense, as anyone else who sought to assault the Ifrit would need to push past the garrison the enemy had set up to guard the bay. Striking down more enemies with Celestial Sweep, Krysta joined in on the skirmish against the enemy forces. They would have to defeat this garrison if they were to reach the enemy's main control room.

  2. Cleo seemed to agree with Krysta that tailor materials were difficult to come across in the wilds. It was true, there were not that many materials that could be used by tailors to craft sufficient light armor padded with leather, or cloth armor woven from fine fabrics...

    Krysta knew that hide could be refined into leather through the process of tanning, but a hunt was not an option that was without risk, especially with the level gap between the two players... And now Cleo had gone on to suggest a hunt. Krysta looked at the player, a worried expression on her face. She shook her head. "No." She said. "It would bear too much risk. I cannot allow you to die over a simple material...and due to my presence, there's nothing we can gain from anything that isn't around my level..." She explained.

    ...But alas, speak of the devil, a rustle within nearby overgrowth would catch Krysta's attention. A large, rugged, perhaps battle-hardened boar would emerge from its hiding place. When Krysta spotted its cursor...it was red, not pink... This monster was balanced to Krysta. "Cleo, get back!" Krysta called out as she drew her blade. "This creature...it is balanced against me. Take cover and stay out of its range, surely one strike from it will be fatal to you!"

    Krysta then readied her sword art. The monster drew near to Krysta, and then the young noble unleashed her sword art, Celestial Sweep. The beast squealed as its HP fell into the red. It then glared at Krysta, and charged towards her. Dodging this attack could potentially divert its attention, so Krysta positioned her weapon to block instead. This worked, and the creature backed away, but its gaze seemed to suggest that it was wondering what its next move should be...

  3. Despite the seriousness of the actual scenario, Cleo would add to what Krysta had noticed, a bit of a dramatic flair within the words she spoke on top of that. Cleo laughed while Krysta chuckled a little, and it would seem that once again, Cleo had felt rather silly about her words and demeanor. "Oh, it's all right," Krysta reassured, smiling as she did. "I don't mind."

    Something must have happened for this player to be so easily embarrassed. What could have gone wrong? Did others judge her for her behavior?

    Cleo shifted the topic back to the task at hand, and asked how Krysta had been doing so far. "Better than when I had started." Krysta answered, spotting some cotton as she did, and collecting the material upon doing so. "It would seem that materials that tailors have use for happen to be uncommon as usual, however..." She added.

  4. Cleo felt sorrow for Krysta's loss, claiming that no one should have to endure such a tragedy. Krysta looked to her weapon, little embers of similar color to her eyes, burning within them. "At least I know the promise I have made...that Leif would not have perished in vain..." She looked back to the fields and thickets around the riverbed, she had to take this off of her mind for the time being. At last, there was something Krysta had use for. She would collect the material with a sensible level of haste.

    Cleo began to hypothesize the reason why late members of the playerbase begin to step outside the safe zone for the first time. It all seemed so strangely similar, though...

    "Event which defined them, pushing them into action, as though it were some sort of inciting moment?" Krysta thought aloud. "Why, it almost sounds like it were a Tale of sorts, a story people would tell...or at least, the beginning of one." She remarked. "An odd comparison, to be sure, it is almost a humorous comparison, quite the coincidence." She added, not entirely sure what to think of this thought that Cleo had posed.

  5. Cleo seemed to be at a loss for words for but a short moment, then she decided to thank Krysta, despite the fact that some of Krysta's goals involving the safety of other players had yet to be accomplished...Dazia still had to be vanquished, for one. "Oh...you're welcome...?" Krysta uttered out. She wasn't used to being thanked for an unfinished task. Cleo remarked that she had yet to be in a life-threatening scenario within the game. Krysta may have found herself in odd, chaotic, or unorthodox scenarios in her past, but most of them were never truly a real threat to her life...or, perhaps that one instance counted? "Well, that's good to know that you haven't found your life threatened as of the moment...unfortunately I cannot say the same for myself...I was even captured once... However, I'd...rather not handle such a threat again, in all honesty..." She responded. There was more uncertainty than a threat in that scenario, however, but thankfully even without a certain someone coming in for the rescue, it was possible for Krysta to handle it.

    Cleo noted that she had been thinking of going beyond the Town of beginnings, further than just the outskirts of the starting settlement, but also that there was great fear in the moment of stepping out, with the knowledge that every decision counted. She then felt rather silly about sharing this, but asked Krysta if she had any similar feeling during the beginning of her own journey.

    "...I most certainly have." Krysta answered. "Rest assured, there is nothing strange about this conversation. I remained in that town for two whole years, wondering if i could ever muster up the courage to step outside and face the horrors that dwell within this virtual dungeon. ...But despite the terrified young woman I used to be, even she knew when she could not tolerate the evils that roam any longer..."  She explained, still looking off into the distance. "So I found myself a weapon, fought my first battle, met with my cousin...before...before he fell to a monster in human form, a hateful Individual by the name Dazia, currently known by some as the Raven of Wrath...I have been seeking out this killer ever since that one day..." She continued, clenching her fist as she recalled those memories, running off into the room of resurrection, to see that her cousin had perished, his name crossed off the monument... She then took a deep breath, and unclenched her fist. She looked to her right, and saw that the patch of flax next to her had none which was ready to be gathered.

  6. Things were beginning to look rather bleak, although none of the players around were willing to allow that to show. However, reinforcements came when the redhead from earlier arrived to the scene with a group of NPCs in tow. The red haired player appeared to have the apparel resembling a pirate of sorts.

    Why? Why was something so awful as Piracy so popularized and loved by certain individuals? Krysta had always failed to wonder why such actions were popularized, and there was hardly anything good about it!

    The red haired player proceeded to tell the players that she was leaving the NPCs she'd brought over to the party that was present, and that they needed a captain. She also gave some advice as to keeping the airship from facing destruction that would threaten the players as well.

    The NPCs might not have needed a "captain", so to speak, but they did indeed need someone to guide them. For the time being, Krysta would rally then as the tide was now turned in the party's favor. A small portion of the NPCs the red haired player had left behind looked to the party for orders while he rest were already preparing the ship itself for being turned against the fleet.

    Krysta raised her weapon. "Forward!" She called out. "The controls of the ship lie ahead, and shall soon be within our grasp!"

    With the NPCs rallied, the enemy forces would find themselves being pushed back much more than before, to the point where their defenses had been breached. Krysta then looked to the rest of the party. "Now, while you have a chance! Seize the control room with all due haste!" She said to them.

    @Vigilon @Jomei

    She then looked to Oji and the NPC driver specifically, for her next words were for them specifically. "Head for the controls, turn the ship around as soon as you can. The rest of us will guard you from any enemy reinforcements, should they arrive from above or below."

    @Oji

  7. One cut, another slash, block, deflect, strike back, dodge, Celestial Sweep.

    Enemies were coming out in droves, Krysta acting nonstop as to keep them all at bay. She also needed to keep her companions' HP up. So far, it was Vigilon who needed healing.

    "Try not to get wounded, I must save energy for the assault as well!" She suggested as she placed a hand on Vigilon to cure his wounds and restore his HP. The Ginger and Oji would discuss with Vigilon as to what the plan was, now that they were aboard the aircraft. It was fairly obvious that all enemies must be dealt with swiftly, but if the players were to act as fast as possible, an escort did not seem like a bad idea...in theory. Enemies were all over the airship, it was very likely that the players would need some kind of backup to speed up the process. Perhaps if there were two more party members, this would have been much easier to do. An escort to the navigation room would be difficult to do without getting surrounded, so clearing out all enemy troops within sight would have to be the immediate action for the time being.

    "Their numbers are starting to diminish, keep it going!" She called out as she struck down two more enemy soldiers.

    @Jomei @Oji

  8. The players would happen to wander their way over from a beaten path trodden by many, over to a riverbed where thickets were growing along its banks. Krysta saw her ally noticing a patch of flax among the thickets, but each player had to gather their own set of materials, so perhaps it was best to attempt to find another patch. Perhaps there was some flax that could be used, or were some of them not fully grown enough to be used for tailoring purposes...?

    The other player began to converse with Krysta, remarking that Krysta seemed capable of taking care of herself. "In a world as dangerous as this one, one must learn how to handle herself in such a hostile environment." Krysta noted. "There's no end to the troubles, be they from the game itself, or by the few players who have strayed from the noble cause, resorting to joining the monsters with their choices to partake in acts of malice." She added, looking off to the distance as she did. "I seek to not simply just survive, however...but to also guide and protect the innocent and well-meaning. I have seen the horrors of war, and crossed blades with a relentless killer. I must be prepared to face enemies that come, and to protect those who need my assistance." She continued, almost forgetting to gather.

  9. Vigilon made his attack, striking down four members of the vanguard that had come to defend the airship. Krysta moved in to strike down the last member, who was already terrified by the two players' previous attacks that had slain his seven comrades. She barely missed him and he ran. The coward jumped off the airship just to land on a smaller transport. It was clear he didn't care what happened as long as he lived.

    Krysta then turned to see the rest of the heavily armed crew of the military airship headed in the players' direction. "Forward!" Krysta called out. "We cannot allow them to push us back!"

    The rest of the moment had become a blur. It was attack after attack, surely the other players were doing their part as well. Krysta saw herself striking down foe upon foe. Had she attempted this alone, she would not have enough energy to last her through the assault. Thankfully, there was a full party present on the airship.

    @Jomei @Oji

  10. The player's response to the young noble's words was helpful to know. This player, although relatively inexperienced, seemed to know what she was doing. "You shan't need to worry." Krysta reassured with a smile. "That shall not hinder me at all, and there are no quest enemies to slay, so you should be relatively safe for the most part." She added. "...Of course, if anything does dare to march towards us with malicious intent," She said, drawing her sword for a short moment. The regal blade of a guardian, its holy light emitting a soft glow. "I can dispatch it with ease." She said before sheathing the weapon. She would look to her hand, then back to the player. "And should you find yourself wounded, I can restore your health." She finished with a soft smile.

    "I am certain we can finish this before nightfall. If one of us manages to collect an excess, perhaps we can point out any more we find for the other to collect." She suggested in case one would struggle whilst the other did not.

    With that, it was time to leave the safe zone.

  11. As the conversation would continue, the player who had introduced herself as Cleo would tell the NPC that she intended to become a tailor. The NPC would give his response, which was understandable to an extent, and the quest prompt appeared to both players. Cleo then looked over to Krysta and asked if she was trying to become a tailor as well. "I certainly am." Krysta answered with a nod. "I've had a fair share of practice, but now that there's an apparent lack of tailors out there, I figured that I might as well make it my profession as to fill the need."

    Krysta pressed <<Accept>>, and the quest would begin. Once out of the building, Krysta had something to speak about...

    "Before we leave the safe zone to gather, it would be wise to have knowledge of where we should go and what to expect." She began. "In terms of equipment, I only have a single luck-granting necklace on my person to assist my search, with three slots of luck." She continued as her hand moved to the golden necklace that she had equipped. "I could loan it to you if you lack an item granting luck." She offered, just in case. "By the way...Do you know of any places that happen to be bountiful in terms of materials that are of use to tailors?" She asked, wondering if this player knew any hotspots the two could take advantage of.

    @Them

  12. "There, it should be this way." Krysta noted before closing her map and continuing forward. The young noble would soon reach her destination. As she approached, the player in front of her would seem to drop an item and apologize, before stepping aside. "Were you intending to enter as well? More than one player can enter a building, you know." Krysta asked softly, knowing no other reason for one to simply be standing by a door. "Perhaps I should introduce myself, I am Krysta, it is a pleasure to meet you." She said to the purple haired woman of rather gothic appearance, while giving her a moment to retrieve her item that she'd dropped.

    Krysta would enter the shop, but would hold the door open for the other player in case she wanted to enter as well. A towering, well-dressed NPC would walk over to meet the two players. "Hello, and how may I help you fine ladies today?" He asked.

    @Them

  13. It had been quite some time since Krysta had been to the first floor. She had overheard a few gripes from players in regards to a sudden lack in open tailor shops as of late, and perhaps now was the time to try filling the need.

    Krysta had practiced the art for a long while, and had sewn a small collection of dresses at this point, none of them enhanced, of course. For the time being, she would need to make her way over to the shop of an NPC who she'd heard could teach players how to make enhanced gear as a tailor. The young noble would once again find herself walking through the sprawling city known as the Town of Beginnings. Perhaps this is where professions bloomed, too... So many within these walls still hold out and hide within, whether it be a lack of hope, or a preparation to set out, a need to find allies before marching into the deadly wilds...

    Would Krysta end up meeting someone along the way? Only time will tell, and it was not uncommon for lower level players to try and find an ally who could carry them.

  14. Vigilon would explain what the plan was, and Oji volunteered to navigate. The ginger would decide to follow the other players' lead. Krysta was suppressing a minor smile, but she also scoffed, at the mention of piracy. "Piracy...surely you jest." Krysta remarked. War was one thing, piracy was another.

    The ginger would then suggest that he serve as a distraction while the others make for the ship's navigation to cause an immediate takeover. "Are you certain you can handle yourself alone?" Krysta asked. "It is likely that we will have to clear out everyone on the ship unless they surrender, so what good would splitting up do?" She noted, trying to reason and explain why the ginger's plan was probably a bad idea. The Ginger noted that if Razwell III was to see his military airships be overtaken, they might be the next target of the scather if it was to fire again. As Krysta grabbed hold of a secure part of the transport, an idea struck her mind. "Forgive me if I seem to be grasping at straws," She began. "But perhaps once we have control of the Military Airship, our focus should be to strike immediately. Even if we still have to eventually board the enemy Flagship, the firepower of a Military Airship may be enough to at least damage the scather." She explained. "If we cripple their prime weapon, we should stand a better chance."

    Krysta would wait for Oji to signal, and once she heard "now go!" She jumped off and boarded the vessel. Enemy troops immediately arrived to confront the players and the NPC who was originally supposed to have been driving(before navigation was handed to Oji, thanks to Vigilon). Krysta would strike down three of the vessel's vanguard with her sword art, Celestial Sweep. Holy Energy arced and shone from her blade as she cut the corrupted soldiers down.

    The battle to capture the Military Airship had begun.

    @Vigilon @Jomei @Oji

  15. Apparently, hardly a single soul had listened to the young noble's words. However, Krysta did not judge...for the most part, that is. Everyone was eager to board an Airship for the coming battle, and the one that the redhead had taken was looming in the air.

    A group of players arrived at the scene, along with an NPC.

    Then came the odd feeling of a horrific heat, and all the Galteans had fear struck within their hearts. Krysta then looked to see that she and everyone around were almost blasted into Oblivion.

    "..."

    The Emperor of Ladonia was a sick man, attempting to commit a twisted genocide on all these innocents... Krysta's free hand clenched and shook with anger, and her eyes would begin to burn with a justified flame. Odds were that Krysta was not the only one who now wanted Razwell the Third dead. It was time to bring that scoundrel down once and for all. Her eyes looked around the scattering players, when she recognized two familiar faces from the tower, and from what she knew, they were sensible enough to help her get the job done.

    She dashed towards the two. "Both of you, with me!" She said before using each hand to grab one of the two by the wrist as she continued on.

    @Jomei @Oji

    Quite literally dragging the two, she made her way over to the transport Aircrafts. Once she'd arrived, she began boarding it with all due haste. It was then when she laid eyes on-

    "Vigilon??"

    What normally would have been shocking would have been to see that his hood was on, a sign that he'd dropped all willingness to have mercy in a situation, but since he and Krysta were in agreement, she would not judge his emotional condition. She would then turn around to help the two players she'd dragged over to the transport, if they were still around and willing to board. When that was finished, she would look over to Vigilon. Perhaps it was time to compare ideas before taking off...but the players must plan quickly, there was no time to simply stand around. She immediately prepared to start up the craft and fly it over. The experience with the Larger Airship when she was headed for the Tower had given her what might have been enough knowledge to properly navigate this one. "My current intention is to reach the enemy forces and disembark on one of their airships, for this craft cannot last long against them. May I ask what your plan is?" She asked Vigilon as she managed to get the Airship into the air.

  16. It had only been mere moments since the young Prince had left, and the situation was already looking dire.

    Krysta could see innocent civilians being pushed to the wall, as the imperial airships loomed in the air, beginning to attack them from above. She drew her weapon, but she was on the ground, what could she do? "...We cannot simply stand around while innocents die, we must do something about it!" She called out to the players around her.

    Before she could suggest anything further, the Prince returned, and explained the reason for his sudden absence. Krysta fully understood what he'd said, so now all that was left was to come up with a method of action as to assure this goes to plan. The young Prince then addressed the Galteans, explaining what the next course of action was for them. Krysta knew that while not all of the players around her were the most sensible, but she should at least try...before that accursed Tyrant got any ideas.

    Krysta turned around to address the players near her. "Everyone, it is only by working together that we shall win the day! We are about to enter battle against the forces of tyranny and oppression, and it will be far from an easy task. We need to discuss our options and reveal to each other as to how we may contribute to this effort!" She called out to the players. "I may be a damage dealer with the weapon of a noble guardian," She began as she lifted her sword, her head turned to look at it, before turning her attention back to the players and continuing her speech. "But I can also heal your wounds and offer my support." She said as she lowered her blade and raised her free hand. Surely, the young noble's speech would inspire at least a few of the other players in some way...

  17. Vigilon divided Carsar's hoard into two smaller piles, and one larger pile. He took one of the smaller piles for himself, and Astreya proceeded to take a smaller share as well, leaving Krysta with the larger pile. Once Krysta had taken the share that the other two players has essentially given to her by picking the other piles, Fuzziel then pulled out three Topaz Gemstones, and handed one to each player. Astreya asked Krysta and Vigilon what the gemstones might mean, but they had as much context on the gemstones as Astreya did, which was none. "Nothing off the top of my head for the moment..." Krysta admitted.

    Krysta then turned to address Fuzziel. "It brings me pleasure to know that our deeds do much good for those around us. Thank you for this gift." She said, with the topaz gemstone in her hand as if it was the gift in question. With that, it was time to leave.

    Krysta took a moment to ponder what the gemstone was for...well, what usually happens with such non-material gemstones in RPGs? "Hmm....perhaps...these are keystones of some sort..." Krysta thought aloud.

  18. With the hatchlings following close by, the trio of players would surely make their way back to Fuzziel's nest. While the trip was quicker returning to her nest than when they were searching for Carsar's, it still took a short moment or two to recall the exact location of Fuzziel's nest.

    When the players reached the nest, the hatchlings would recognize their home and run up ahead to reunite with their mother. Fuzziel's expression brightened upon seeing the Hatchlings return to her side, and Krysta gently set down the dragon egg in front of her. "It is done." Krysta began. "Carsar shall terrorize your family and the lands no longer."

    After a short moment, The sound of cracking could be heard. Krysta looked over to the egg, which was shaking and starting to crack. The hatchlings watched the egg with anticipation, eagerly awaiting their new sibling's arrival. Soon, a small hole appeared in the egg, the shell that it took the place of was pushed out by something within. The egg continued to shake and crack, until a newborn hatchling started to emerge from it. It was a wondrous moment to witness. Krysta smiled as the hatchling laid eyes upon its mother.

    Fuzziel turned to look at the players, with a great deal of joy in her expression. "Thank you...thank you all. Carsar may have potentially threatened other dragons out of envy, or possibly threatened your kind out of pride. Perhaps it is for the best that he is no more." The Topaz dragon spoke. She then looked to the hoard that Vigilon and Astreya had brought back, and took only a large portion of it. "The rest of these treasures were Carsar's property, and therefore the spoils of war. Feel free to divide them among yourselves." She noted.

  19. Having Vigilon there to hold, to lean on, to cry on, it was...sort of relieving, to be able to let it out with someone she cared about very deeply. She held Vigilon for a few more minutes, before letting go.

    She wiped her tears, and she steadied her breath. "Alex, thank you....for being here. I honestly do not know what I would have done if I did not have someone I was close to in this moment..."

    Despite having uttered out Vigilon's real name, the matter was too serious for her to address him otherwise, for she had been told his real name during the bloom of their relationship. She looked around her and remembered what the players were supposed to be handling. She also noticed that Astreya had moved over, closer to the cavern. Well, the moment was finished, it was time to get back to the present duty. "R-right then, we must see these hatchlings to safety." Krysta stated. With that, she picked up the egg, and started on her way back, and most of the hatchlings followed close by immediately, a few looking to the other players before following suit.

  20. Krysta noticed Astreya's familiar carrying an egg over to her, and she received the egg from the bird. She gently placed down the egg for the time being, and the hatchlings stayed near her, probably wondering when Krysta was going to take them back to their home.

    Krysta tried to rid herself of the haunting thoughts, but to no avail. Vigilon and Astreya came out of the cavern, and Vigilon noticed that something was off. He rushed to her side, and asked her if she was alright. Astreya also noticed that something was wrong.

    Krysta was at a bit of a loss for words, she did not know what she should say first. She wanted to tell Vigilon what was on her mind, but Astreya was around as well, and since they had only met recently, to speak of such personal information wouldn't be the best idea.

    "It's just...something personal, you needn't worry about...about..."

    Unable to hold it in anymore, and with tears starting to well up within her eyes, she suddenly pulls Vigilon in for an embrace. She chokes back tears, but they flow out regardless, one by one. She would then whisper into his ear, "Of my mother's family...I am the last."

  21. The thoughts persisted. She had carried their weight for quite some time, she might need to speak about it with Vigilon at some point. If her Bloodline had any value of any sort, it's continuation and survival literally depended on her...

    Could her ancestors truly count on her? Was she good enough for the daunting task she was born unto? All others within her mother's bloodline have perished, there was no one else who could carry out such a thing.

    Yolviinsil realized Krysta was starting to shudder over the thoughts, and brushed herself up against her in hopes of comforting her. "I....I'm fine, Yolviinsil, there's...no need....no need to...worry..." Yolviinsil let out a soft trilling noise in response. "...I can hardly lie to myself at this point...I am unsure that you'll understand, but...at this rate, I just might need to tell somebody..." Krysta admitted.

    The forces of good were always met with some form of opposition...her mother perished from a disease, as well as her aunt and uncle. Her cousin was slain by a monster in human form...what kind of evil had sought to end her mother's bloodline? Could Krysta be the one who could survive its onslaught? If she and her bloodline were special, even if it was simply a part to play within a divine plan, evil would surely stop at nothing to try and snuff the light out.

    Krysta must endure. She has to.

  22. Krysta remained with the hatchlings as Astreya ran off to help Vigilon. She turned back towards Yolviinsil. "Could you help me tend to their wounds with that gift of yours we recently discovered?" She asked. The small ruby red feathered dragon nodded to Krysta, and moved over to the limping hatchling. Yolviinsil began to emit a shining, blazing aura as she assisted Krysta in healing it. "Perhaps someday I may discover how this ability of yours ties to your being." Krysta remarked.

    She couldn't help but dwell on a thing or two while she waited for the players to return. She had lost her mother's side of the family, including her mother, and the only exceptions were...very few. She had lost Leif, and she was separated from her father and his side of the family. ...was she truly the last of her mother's line? It seemed likely, and it was difficult to even know it. It wasn't like there was anything special about her mother's bloodline, but Krysta, as of the present moment, was the last. If her family had a history that she wouldn't know about, this would make her a crux of her family's fate, as the wheel turns upon her, the last of her line...

    Krysta did what she could to shake off the haunting thoughts. The more she dwelt on them, the more weight they carried.

  23. The hatchlings continued to stay near Krysta, and Krysta continued to heal the wounded hatchlings. Astreya remarked that the hatchlings must have had it rough under Carsar's gaze. "I can only assume they have." Krysta replied.

    Astreya noticed that Vigilon had gone into the cavernous den, and fallen where there was a spot of darkness. She then asked Krysta if she should go after Vigilon, or remain with Krysta and the hatchlings. "I can remain here for a bit, go ahead and follow Vigilon." Krysta answered. She plucked up a stick from the ground, then looked over to her familiar. "Yolviinsil, if you would?"

    The small ruby red feathered dragon ignited the top of the stick with her flames, and Krysta would hand it to Astreya. "This should help you both to see through the darkness, at least a little." She told her.

    Krysta would then return her focus to tending to the hatchlings. "Oh, and do let me know if you happen to find a dragon egg!"

  24. After escaping the burning room, Krysta would emerge in yet another room that could induce panic within the claustrophobic. She was able to see the compass on the floor before it became covered by other players. She looked carefully at the different symbols, wondering what they might possibly mean.

    A stag to the west, a sun to the east, a flower to the south and a compass to the north...

    The Tyrant took action quickly...too quickly. Then that one player who had simply been following along ever since the airship crash decided to speak up, giving his thoughts on what was obviously a puzzle of some sort.

    Whoever had designed this was rather foolish, leaving clues that infiltrators could follow. If one had a code they wanted to know but not permit anyone else to know, they should have it written on paper or chiseled into the walls of a secret room, whatever might keep the answer hidden from intruders.

    Krysta saw the man turn the stag dial first, setting it to One. Then the pink haired player set the flower to four, and the puzzle reset.

    The compass was right where the players were standing, but since several players were standing on it, Krysta shouldn't blame the girl for mistaking it for a different symbol. Her expression in that moment was both one of sympathy and one of slight passive aggression.

    Krysta looked to her memories to try figuring out the pattern.

    There was the stag, yes...in the burning room, there were walls with...floral decorations...and in this room was a compass...back when the NPCs were leaving the pit, Krysta remembered noticing... "The sun, of course!" It all made sense now.

    "Set the Stag to one, Set the Flower to three, and Set the Compass to four! I shall set the sun to two!" Krysta called out.

    Hopefully, her guess was correct.

    Correct answer. Please continue.

  25. Krysta continued her search, and it was rather difficult. She still found nothing, and then she was interrupted by someone tossing something over to her. A key landed in her hands, but it was warm to the touch...too warm, in fact.

    The newcomer ginger who had thrown the key to Krysta asked her to use it on the locks. Krysta saw a chair that was in the proper position to reach one lock...but when she tried to reach the lock, it would seem that she was not tall enough to reach it, even with the help of a chair, even with the help of books placed on the chair.

    She then noticed the walls closing in.

    Her eyes widened, and it was now or never. "No time like the present to be reckless...it would seem that drastic measures are required for me to reach the lock..." Krysta thought. She looked around, and saw one player drawing near...

    @Jomei

    With the chair's help, she leaped upwards and landed upon the newcomer ginger. "I apologize for this, I simply cannot reach the lock on my own!" She said as she proceeded to climb into position.

    With the ginger's help, if he was truly willing to offer it, she would manage to stick the key into the lock, and with a turn of the key, another lock was undone.

    "Just a moment....there!"
