She smiles as she blushes a little noticing that she’s literally holding this girl’s hand. Etherial isn’t gay and doesn’t think she actually like girls but for some reason she thinks it feels right when she holds other girl’s hands. It make her feel calm and safe. She’s only hold one man's hand and felt safe besides her father and that boy passed away when they were 8 and basically ever since then she didn’t really trust men.

Approaching the forest she starts seeing a very thick layer of mist in the air as she grabs a hold of her rapier. “By the way. I don’t mean it be rude but how old are you?” she ask with a smile. Ethieral seems really calm like nothing bothering her. Even though she is a support role she want to show Hestia that she can attack as well even though it’s going to be a rough start.

Etherial staring into space after hearing her ask if she was okay. “Ye… Yeah I’m alright.” Etherial gives a little smile as she grabs a hold of Hestia’s hand as she follows Hestia to the quest site.”

“Hey… How are you not so scared about this game? I mean one screw up can kill you in this game. Don’t you think about home knowing that if you mess up once here could change that forever.” Etherial doesn’t looks to scared after she equipped her rapier as she was already ready to fight this elf even though she knows that she’s only a level 1.

Etherial looks at herself smiles as she looks like a fierce fighter ready to beat this game. Etherial in real life is a scared girl with a fear of men. In this game she’s hoping she can overcome that fear and show them that she’s a brave woman that would be a great leader in combat.

Etherial smiled. “Thank you” as she continues to follow her to the shop. Looking around she sees how amazing this floor. She smiles as she then approaches to the door of the shop knowing that there's a crazy old man inside. She knows it’s not a real man she grab a hold of the shop’s door and opens it. Opening up the door, she walks inside seeing the owner and his wife. “Hestia… This man already scars me and he hasn’t say anything yet.” she whispers to her as she tries to make it look like she’s not scared but she really is. Walking up to the counter she looks behind seeing Hestia right behind her as she feels relief that someone is there if something happens. Etherial smiles once again as she receives a quest icon on her panel. As she reads what the quest is she quickly accepts the quest as she turns to Hestia and walks towards her.

Etherial smiles. “My name is Etherial. I’m actually new to the game. Someone told me there’s a quest that gives you armor for free so I figured I try to do it but I was actually trying to find someone that wanted to come help me.” She smiled as she kept her hands near her skirt thinking that there are boys somewhere watching. “Oh… Sorry how I reacted to that boy. It’s hard to explain and I don't feel comfortable talking about it if that’s alright with you.” She looks down for a few seconds. “So you wouldn’t happen to know where this quest is do you?” She looks up and looks at Kuro as she smiles to see something like this that looks so cute and has the same colours as her clothing. “I’m sorry I’m also self conscious about myself. I really don’t like people looking at me like those boys were.”

Etherial looks up seeing a girl with black hair and a casual outfit on standing right over her. “Umm.. Yes… I need help. But first can we get out of here so I dont have these boys staring at me.” She starts to get up and runs behind this lady making sure there’s no more men looking at her. “Sorry I really don't like boy’s looking at me. Can we please go somewhere else.” She looked around notice that she's wearing nothing but white with some black. Explains why the men are looking at her like that but still they can keep their tongue in there mouths. She looks over to this boy behind her that staring right at her. “I have you know its rude to stare. Go fine someone else to look at.” She gets really snobby with him as she quickly looks aways with a snobby attitude.

Walking out of the Inn on the 3rd floor, Etherial walked over near the middle of the town and sat down on one of the benches trying to figure out what she wants to do for today. She coulnd’t figure out if she wants to do a quest and try to get better gear or try and meet more players and see if they can help her going in the game. As she sat down on the bench the breeze picked up blowing her skirt up as she tries to hold it down as there are other male players around and she knows that they're all perverts that are going to look. Etherial looks in front of her seeing a strange player sitting there acting like he hasn’t seen anything she started to blush and tilted to the right so her skirt is hidden behind her arms. Etherial feels so embarrass just for the fact there so many boys around and she knows they're going to hit on her.

Etherial jumped as she turned around trying to figure out who was there. “Yes… Yes it’s really beautiful.” She smiles looking at the girl next to her. “How long have you been there?” She asked with a shy response. As she then looks back at the site. “Hey I’m new to the game… Would you like to come with me? I’m trying to help Zackariah get some materials for a potion.” she knows that the quest is meant for her to learn how to play the game so she’s not asking for help in the quest but for someone to company her and maybe meet someone while she’s stuck in the game. “By the way. My name is Etherial.” She smiled as she bows to her feeling the breeze lightly pushing on her white skirt. Slightly blushing hoping no boy sees her right now. Even though she’s have trust issues with boys she is a female is doesn't like them looking under her skirt.

Logging into the game “Sword Art Online” for the first time Etherial quickly thought how cool it is to be inside a game. Definitely a game that she can control with her own body. Looking around trying to figure where she is and what she should do first. Trying to figure out what she should do an old man named Zackariah came up to her offering her some help. She accepted his offer as he told her that she needs to go searching for 5 materials. She nodded with a smile as she then walks over to the gates of the town. Looking out the gates amazed on how beautiful the landscape is in this game. “Wow such a pretty site.” she told herself as she walked closer to the edge of town noticing that she forgot to put on her gear. “Oh thats right I forgot my gear. Although he did say that nothing should attack me. But just to be safe I’ll put it on anyways.” Etherial quickly swipes down the menu bar and equipped her gear.

About: History/personality

Yuki the daughter of a family of five. Two being the parents, and then she has her siblings a older sister, and then the middle child her brother. Yuki being the youngest you would expect her to receive all the attention and affection from her parents. However, that would be the farthest thing that had happened for her. Instead Yuki was shown little attention with the explanation that she has to improve herself if she wants to be noticed. With this sparked a fire in the youngest of three as she tried to show her talents in any field she could find that would allow her to seem unique, but instead all those plans crashed and burned every time being told her siblings did it first.

Over time she has learned that there is no chance of her every being given attention from her older siblings always outshining her in every field be it academics or what sport she would join. At around the age of eight she had realized that rather cold fact that is part of her life. From that point onwards the usual bright, cheerful, and happy girl had become a rather cold, and distant one instead. She had grown to keep things to herself, and to just let herself be ignored instead of trying to gain any attention in any form. Yuki had thus grown up with little to no friends, and any who managed to remember couldn't ever seem to find the girl do to Yuki having been good with blending into the crowds to just become like a ghost. Ethereal.

As she grew up in her middle school at the age of thirteen she had found someone who actually remembered her, and had always managed to pick her out from a crowd. He would always talk to her in a kind manner and help her out when he could. Yuki had found love, and attention for the first time in her life and she wanted to keep it at all costs. The two quickly started to date and grow closer to bond together. However, once more she was shown a more darker side of how people are after dating this boy for three months. After three months during an argument between the two the boy she had been dating admitted he only dated her to use her intelligence to help him get the grades he needed to stay in athletics. Hearing this she broke up with him and had become even more secluded than ever before, and she had promised after that day she would never trust another boy since they would try to manipulate her emotions. Furthermore, after that day she died her hair white, and seemed to have a more vested interest in that color figuring she should stick to what she is and not try to change that. Ethereal.

During the rest of her schooling she has barely even been noticed. Barely to zero friends, and her having only talked when asked a question by someone. Yuki looked for an outlet from all this loneliness and found it in the world of online gaming. She had quickly bought the best computer and started playing and interacting with an online community. With this she had felt freer than ever to be herself since no one could judge her. As she turned 18 she had heard of this new game coming out called sword art online that was another MMO type game but virtual reality. Of course, being rather curious she had bought the nerve gear and the game on the launches of said items. When it was time to log into the game she grinned thinking she had finally found something she could be better than her siblings at no matter how hard they tried. When the game asked for a username it was a no brainer for what she would choose. Her entire life being the meaning of this world. Just a ghost that can fade in and out as she chooses. She chose the username Ethereal.

Distrust: After having been used by a former boyfriend of hers in the past Yuki has grown to distrust any male she encounters. Thinking that if she ever opened herself up to them they would just take advantage of her again like her former boyfriend had done.

Stubborn: With her parents and siblings being rather unhelpful towards her in schooling, and other aspects of her life she had grown use to helping herself. Thus, when offered help she would turn it down preferring to do it on her own, and not back down from this idea since she thinks she can handle it on her own.

Introverted: From being raised and having never been given a chance to be the star of her family like her siblings Yuki had learned to just be quiet and try to fade away. From this it has been difficult for her to make friends since she is not use to any attention she gets, and is more use to just blending into the crowd to be forgotten like always.
