Miaki

Miaki looked over the entire tavern, or rather the center of information and intelligence in Aincrad. The tavern itself had low light, only provided by lanterns on the wooden tables and hanging on the arches of the low ceiling. One could just barely see the end of the room because of the feint flicker of light. Most of the people inside the establishment were all keeping to themselves or in pairs speaking in low voices. 'So this is what an <> must look like.' He thought to himself referring to the hearsay of such places existing where, for a steep price a player could get information on many of the on goings in Aincrad. These were the players who kept to the shadows and were the ears of the walls, selling what they learned to those willing to pay the price.

"So this is what a an <> looks like. I'll have to remember to come here when I need to learn about the existence of some places." He said to no one in particular.

He kept looking around for their guy, trying to figure out which person in the room was the target they were looking for. But he had no idea what this guy looked like. He was likely a nervous looking player but beyond that he wasn't certain of things.

"You see anyone who could be our guy?" He asked to Nikki in a hushed tone as they followed Nero through the tavern.

Halfway there. The health bar of <> was just past the halfway point. As soon as Rosalia's lance struck true the <> rushed forward to switch out and attack the being.

This is absolutely brilliant and clearly well thought through by establishing a base idea of what you can do with familiars. I would agree that size needs to be address but given the liberty of being larger than the current restrictions. Perhaps based on the type of beast/pet and it's use would give a proper size parameter. And towards Seldentar, the process of accepting familiars has started. Only a couple have been accepted though.

There is so much I could say here but Ill give you the short answer here and the detailed one on skype. You can make up all sorts of stuff. The nice thing about being the first in yer profession is you can be a forerunner for it and expand it greatly. All things get approved through Saix so you have that safety net if you take things a little overboard. He is cool like that to give imput with yer ideas.

You get a starting weapon that has no stats on it so don't expect any +1 DMG or something like that. Now some <> can be earned by completing different quests. For example: martial arts and meditation are both skills earned by completing the appropriate quest. See the quest page for details.

Im returning back to the lower 48 so if you want someone to help in a quest I'm yer guy! And you really should look into the KoC, they're good.

Miaki panted seeing that he wasn't too late. The weapon was gone and the kid who was with Ruri was stopping himself. "I have my ways of getting around." He said reassuringly. "I'm just glad I made it it time."

Miaki saw the blade and rushed forward trying to prevent another suicide from happening. "Don't do it man! Don't be a coward!" He hoped that it wasn't too late as he rushed forward to prevent the blade from falling on the holder. He saw Ruri close by. "Stop hiiiiiimmm!!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled as he pushed his parameters to their max and ran.

As far as professions go, you have: artisan, blacksmith, alchemist, tailor, merchant, performer, and cook. You dont need to pick up any of the skills for yer profession cause they come naturally with it. Currently you are allowed to pick around 9 skills but you shouldnt rush things.

Far as cooking goes I believe we have one, maybe 2 players beginning their cooking professions but I havent seen what they would do with it yet.

Ok for the next question what are all the professions that one may have? I also wish to ask what armor items one can start out with?

You can look like whatever you want but the gear wont do you any good until you earn it in a quest or purchase from a player owned shop.

Garden Warfare is really something special... they changed so much, but left it deeply engrossing and fun...

My God why haven't I tried this game yet!?!

As Miaki landed from his first initial strike he noticed the girl in distress grasp the battle axe he threw to her and charge the minotaur in front of her. Her attack was with such ferocity it was astonishing. In but mere seconds the once powerless young woman went from defenseless to a reckoning force. Miaki didnt have time to watch her for long as both minotaurs were ready to go and advancing on them both. "No problem!"

Miaki followed up the young warrior's attack on focused on the first minotaur he had hit first. Lunging forward he stabbed the first monster in the middle of its chest. He jumped back and held his arms out taunting the beast. "You want some of this? Come and get it!"

The minotaur roared and bore down with its scimitar down on the <>. Miaki blocked it with everything he had and only took a minor hit to his health bar. Nothing to worry about. Bending his knees, Miaki shoved the sword away and slashed at the beast twice, leaving diagonal gashes in its body.

Pleasure meeting you Kana! I haven't seen much of yer work but the little I've seen I really like. Glad to have you in Aincrad! If you have any questions at all hit me up. Miaki couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as his plan came together so smoothly. The boss was down to her final form, no one had died, and the group still had a great deal of control over the situation. In all respects it was hard to imagine this fight going any better. As the seed pods spawned up again he noticed the respective groups spread out back to their previous duties. The poison pods needed to be destroyed or this final offensive wouldn't last very long. He had heard Nikki shouting orders and a smile crept across his face as he watched his blue haired beauty handling both herself and the changing battle with such grace. This feeling was short lived however as he soon found himself on the receiving end of one of Nikki's orders. "Yes Ma'am" He called bas he began to fall back into position.

as he moved, Miaki noticed that Nikki had sprung foreword attacking a particular spot on the Guardian. It seemed to have been effective as she easily drew blood again. He wanted to follow her lead and strike the same spot, focus the fire and try to tear down this creature faster, however that would not be the case. The guardian seemed to have been enraged by the tanks attack and she called forth another volley of vines to assault the defensive group. The attack itself was incredible as the vines flailed around both with incredible speed, but also great strength. Each one also found its mark striking, not only himself, but Ayane and Nikki as well. The large Vine impacted him hard in the chest pushing him back several feet before it shriveled up and fell limply to the floor, Could this be the end of hat massive AOE?

Miaki had to take a moment to check himself, the impact had been severe and his armor had not stopped the critical strike. his health had dropped several points and according to the health bar of his group, both Ayane and Nikki had suffered damage as well. He let out a silent curse before realizing that two of the players in the room were now dropping to critical levels. "Yunah, Ayane... Use Heal yourselves and be careful." He called out as he began his recovery, moving in for his own attack. The spot Nikki had struck was still open and exposed, so he decided that that would be the best place to target as he ran foreword slashing upward with his Katana.

Dice: 5+2-2=5 Miss.

Perhaps he was still shaken up from the massive impact, or perhaps the Guardian had anticipated another attack to the same spot and moved. Either way he found his blade cutting nothing but air as he passed neatly past the guardian. It had been only a miss of inches, but that was still a miss, and that meant that Nikki was still holding the Agro on her own. He followed through with his movements coming to a clean stop on the other side of the guardian, luckily this also left him only a few meters from where Nikki had been. Now he needed to finish up and get back into formation. He approached the Blue haired Tank with a small grin. "Guess that could have gone be..." He stopped noticing that she had been breathing heavily, her eyes closed. She had not seen his attack, nor did it seem she was paying attention to much of what was going on. He was certain she had managed to absorb most of the damage from that last shot, so she wasn't suffering from damage shock. This was something else. He put a hand on her shoulder, and her eyes instantly shot open again. She gave him a smile, though it seemed pained, and for a moment he was unsure of what to do. "We're almost done here" was all he could say in his own attempt to be reassuring.

I don't know much about Sony's Project Morpheus, but if you have been following the Oculus Rift at all you know that we already have made a strong step forward with VR technology. there are even some developers working on gear that simulates getting hit with subtle vibrations. Though I doubt we will be seeing any tech along the level of he Nerve Gear or AmuSphere anytime soon.

Do you have a set date in mind when you plan to make yer decision and move over to the new software you choose? When I return to the lower 48 I'll be sure to give these two a through look and return with feedback on which one I favor. Cheers gents!

As he rounded one medium sized tree, atleast medium sized compared to the other trees on the floor, a massive tree came into sight. The tree was atleast 50 meters in diameter. Miaki had never seen a tree so large before in his life. The tree itself resembled that of a great oak tree. It stood by itself, somewhat distant and distinct from the other trees. Only one footbridge led to the opening into the tree and Miaki was on it.
