She didn't even bother making sure that she didn't have any requests right now, mainly because she knew that she didn't. She had that grand and glorious feeling. So, instead, she was going to attempt to craft something for her, to be able to help her out with finding a familiar for herself. She has helped everyone else, so why not help herself now? She grabbed her crystals and a saxophone ad started about her crafting. The first craft had gotten so close, a rare masterpiece, the second an uncommon, but the final two crafts for the day were both failures. Oh well, she at least has things to sell to others.

She instantly regretted how she had phrased her previous words, "I didn't mean you hated me! Gah, I think I'm getting too tired to talk," yeah right, "I meant that I think you hate the snow more than I do," she finished defending her previous words as she laughed lightly. She just stared at him and she pointed to herself, "Um..brother, I think that you are forgetting that we were born in the same place." She shook her head lightly as they slowly made their way back to town, stupid snow.

He laughed with her, so she knew that he agreed wholeheartedly with her statement on her being a healer. She really isn't the type to heal, and she doesn't like standing in front of helping those who don't deserve it. "Yeah, when someone proves to me that they are worthy of me protecting them, then maybe I'll soak up damage like you brother," she paused for a moment, "Yukiro already soaks up enough damage on his own, so I don't need to help him. You're helping your owl because she is too weak to be able to soak up the damage."

Tala...why must you ruin golden family bonding time?

She knew that she was going to be right when she mentioned him kicking her ass as well as the deer's if things had gone differently. She wasn't going to put that past him either way. But still, it didn't happen, so it wasn't something that she needed to worry about.

Seeing her brother happy to be able to go back to town and leave the snow area made her laugh, "There are moments I think that you hate the snow more than me brother." She turned with him though and she started to head back to Snowfrost. She did want some warm food and drinks though, that sounded amazing.

"I was thinking of making it a fighter." She looked at him, a look of 'really' showing on her face, "And what else would I be? A healer?" She laughed at that thought then as she shook her head, "Why mess with perfection?" Actually, think on that, no one would believe that Tala would be able to be a healer, she likes to fight too much, just like her brother.

She knew what she needed, and had half of it already. But it was the other half that she still needed really. She needed something that was going to help her find a familiar and she had heard that the cook here was about to make a snack that would do just that. So, walking in, she looked at the cook and offered a smile before she looked at what he had for sale. She grabbed one of the Crazy Lucky Hot Dogs and nodded, knowing that this was going to help her. So she quickly sent the man the Col for the hot dog before she waved, "Thank you for this, have a good one!"

She looked at him, a not so shocked look on her face, "Wow, really Koga. Some kindness would be nice," she sighed as he talked about mom and dad then and she shook her head, "I'm sure at this point Mom and Dad are trying to figure out where to send me once we get out of the game." But that could be a conversation for another day between the siblings. For now, she had a goal in mind, or at least, something that she needed to do, even if she was scared to do it. It was more scared of the rejection, but she wouldn't know if that comes without trying.

She sighed as she looked around for a moment then back to her brother, "I think I should go and find Yukiro, before the day is over. Besides, I'm sure you have someone that you need to go and find as well." She smiled as she hugged her brother, "Thank you Masa."

"You'd probably kick my ass too brother, don't ignore that fact." She figured that would be true, because she would have kicked his ass for not wearing armor and taking that hit. But, that wasn't the case on either of the things.

"You still have better luck than I do, we both know this to be true," she managed a small laugh before she sighed and nodded. "Okay, maybe we can turn back now and if we find nothing by the time we get back to town, I can try again later." Yeah, she was agreeing with her brother as she turned, probably in the wrong direction, back towards town. She wanted to have a familiar, but at the same time, she didn't need to be stealing her brother from his owl for too long. At least, not until her plan was more developed and ready to go. But that wouldn't be for a bit still.

She looked at him and shook her head, "Wh-why are you sorry?" It wasn't like he purposely tripped, right? She hoped he didn't, because if that was the case, he was going to have hell to pay the moment that she was warm again. She leaned back into him though when he wrapped his arms around her, warmth.

She was about to protest his taking the blanket off of himself though, but then he said no arguing was allowed. She grumbled as the blanket was wrapped around her and just sat there. The shaking soon stopped, she was still cold, but at least no longer shaking like a twig, so that was a good thing.

Then, she was being picked up again, "You know, I can walk..." She managed a smile still but she nodded, "You need to get warmed up too, time for ramen?" She looked at him, curiosity perking a bit as she wondered if that still sounded good to him. It sure did to her, but then, food in general sounded good to her.

@Yukiro

She looked at Koga and nodded lightly, "You say no thanks needed, but I'm still going to thank you. But I will, promise." She was going to be honest with Yukiro, that much was for sure. When Koga mussed with her hair though she cracked a small smile as she laughed lightly. "Okay brother, and that is true, hot cocoa is pretty amazing." She smiled again as she looked at her big brother.

She tried to swat at him when he nudged her in the ribs again, "Hey! I didn't plan on being saved, so that's your own fault. I also didn't plan on literally running into it without any extra stuff. Was scouting, but, well, we see where that got me." Nearly dead. Koga nearly dead. Yukiro nearly dead and missing an arm and eye. Yeah, that was fun wasn't it. She sighed and shook her head, "I'm an idiot aren't I?"

She just blinked at her brother as he, yet again, complimented the, now dead, deer on it's hit on her. "You know, you wouldn't be saying that if my gear didn't have mitigation and you know it." She pointed that little factor out before she looked around, there was no sign of a wolf, or even that one had ever been here. "Right, familiar searching, so much fun. Can't I just do both at the same time?" She sighed though as she shook her head, "Honestly, at this point, I don't think I'm going to be getting a familiar." She was too impatient, but kind of true in the moment. The luck gods seemed to have it out for the woman, never letting her get within the parameters to find this wolf that she wanted. "But, if I ever manage to find one, I'm going to defrost." She was not liking the cold at all, and that wasn't helping her patience at all.

"Wow everyone loves ramen," she chuckled at that little fact. But he was right, they never did go from that one time that they were supposed to. "That does sound good though, but um, I don't know what all is here though." She spoke the truth there. Now, what happened next, she wasn't expecting, at all. Why was Yukiro falling? Of course, she didn't know what he was falling into, until she felt the freezing cold snow all around her and she instantly froze.

It didn't take long for Yuki to pull her from the snow, but by that point, she was shivering and wet from the snow. "I-i'm fr-freezing..." So here she was, moving to sit on the ground, her arms wrapped around her knees as she shivered. Normally, this wouldn't get a second glance, but she was five feet and two inches tall, so she looked like a literal child crying right now. Far from the case, but she was cold, oh so very cold.

@Yukiro

She couldn't do anything but watch from where she was. She knew that it was all her fault that he and Koga were even doing this. Her fault that her brother was no long awake, the fact that Noctua was glaring daggers at her. Hell, even Yukiro didn't seem to be himself. She noted this as she watched him. She watched as Yukiro got hit back and she was back on her feet then. She moved forward to watch him get grabbed by the gorilla. Before she could do anything, Yukiro was breaking through and was free. The gorilla was missing it's right arm and eye just like Yukrio, but Yuki was the one faltering.

She watched him, her grip on her katana tightening, until Yukiro had the final exchange of blows with the gorilla. The gorilla was dead, but Yukiro was collapsed, in the same state as her brother. No, No, No, NO. She ran toward Yukiro just as the ground was coming back around the gorilla's self made arena. That was when some NPCs came from the town and helped the two girls bring Koga and Yukiro back to the town. She didn't know where Noctua had Koga taken, but Tala didn't leave Yukiro's side. At least, not until she was certain he was okay, then, she vanished on him.

Thread Summary:

She rolled her eyes at her brother. But when she had hit the deer again, he complimented her, this made her smile a little at least, until the deer rushed her. She didn't even have time to move before she got hit in the chest. Moving back a few feet, she winced slightly. It didn't do a lot to her health, but that was going to bruise in the morning, that much she knew for sure.

"Oh yeah, compliment the deer, I see how it is..." Now he was just being a glorified cheerleader and it was slightly aggravating. She rushed forward once more, her sword glowing green, but the moment that she hit the deer in it's chest in return, she watched as it stopped moving before bursting into fragments. She sighed as she turned and looked at Koga. She bent down and grabbed a handful of snow, shaping it into a ball before she chucked it at her brother. "That's for complimenting the deer!"

She ate some of her ramen as Lonzo and Yukiro talked, she paid no mind, grateful to know that her brother already knew what exactly had actually happened during the fight with the gorilla. But, she nearly choked on some noodles when Lonzo pointed his attention to her, and flirted with her? She felt herself get pulled to Yukiro then and she took a moment to think about everything that was just said, "Wait, did you just hit on my brother?" She looked around the no longer choking Koga to see the look on Noctua's face. Yeah, he did.

And then she blushed as realized that Yukiro had complimented her. Yes, she, Tala, blushed. We can get over that fact now. She stayed close to Yukiro, mainly because she had the sinking feeling that if she didn't, he was about to do something that they would all regret. Then came the announcement and she looked at her brother and, apparently soon-to-be sister-in-law. Okay, too many hyphens. "Uh, yeah, congratulations." She just found out that they fixed things, but not to this extreme!

Wait...she looked at Yukiro, unsure on if they should say anything now. She found Yukiro's hand and gently squeezed it, hoping that he got her message of they should probably wait, but then, that might also just depend on how angry Yukiro was at Lonzo.

His response to her question was short, but at least it seemed to be honest. She didn't blame him for not wanting to tell her much more really, she didn't deserve that information. Either way, she still wanted to be sure that she hadn't completely destroyed that at least, so it was good to know that Koga and Noctua had made up at least.

She was soon being pulled into a hug and she wrapped her arms around her brother in return. She kept her head against his chest as he talked and ran his fingers through her hair. It took her a few moments to calm down before she felt safe talking without having to worry about sounding like Noctua when she first met the woman. "Thank you Masa. I'll try talking to him today...." She trailed off for a moment before she pulled herself from her brother's embrace, "I'm sorry, I think I just ruined our tradition."

It took him a moment to say anything, and she didn't blame him. But, when he did speak again, he was heated, hey at least he wasn't about to freeze! Okay, Koga, you can throw a snowball at her now. "I'm still sorry about that Masa..." The look on her face could confirm how she felt there. She just didn't know how to ask if he and Noctua were okay, "How are you two?" Okay, so she did, she just wasn't sure what was going to come from it. But, the conversation wasn't going to stay there, it went back to her mess up.

She sighed and nodded lightly, just staring at her hot cocoa at this point, "I know, but I just don't know if he will forgive me. I mean, he promise to be there if I needed help, but he could be like you, never breaking a promise no matter what." She wasn't walking at this point anymore, just staring into her cup. "I don't want to, but what if I have...to...?" Here you go Koga, a new first, Tala choked up over a guy. Aren't you just getting lucky today? Is now a bad time to mention that she was actually crying?

The silent exchange between them was brief before she had gone for the deer. But it was his comment afterwards that seemed to agitate her slightly. "Since when are you know for complimenting me brother?" Okay, sure, she complimented her sometimes, but still, right now, she was just slightly agitated at this deer and the fact that she still couldn't find a familiar.

So, after he was out of her way, she rushed the deer once more, there was a blur and some green before her blade hit the deer right in the chest one more. She was hoping to kill the thing, but no it was still alive, just in the red. She grumbled something under her breath as she backed away from the deer. She had no idea what it was that her brother was about to do, but she knew one thing, this deer was not happy at all with Tala.

She was happy to be where she was currently. Sure, she found out that her brother is engaged, cool good for him. But she was too, that was a surprise for sure. Still, she happily held onto Yukiro's hand, at least, until he wasn't beside her anymore. She turned to see that some other woman was touching him. Okay, normally, Tala wouldn't let this get to her. But after nearly getting Yukiro killed and just barely making things right again, she wasn't going to just sit idly by. So, instead, she walked back over to Yukiro and grabbed his hand once more, gently, yet with some force, bringing back over to her.

Imagine the sight, a six foot and seven inches tall man being dragged over to a five foot and two inches tall woman. Jealous, insanely. But, she did offer a smile, possibly, it might not seem one hundred percent nice and sweet, but it was still a smile, "Hello, I'm Tala, Yukiro's fiance."

Another day, time to work on getting some new stock into the building. She started to hum to herself as she grabbed the stuff that she was going to need. She was in a good mood, and she was going to try and make some debuff songs, nothing wrong with that right? She was going to get at least one, she knew it. She thought about all of the drama that she had caused and she knew that that would be great motivation. By the end of the day, she walked out with one rare debuff, two failures and a successful salvage.

Koga hugged her back and she was grateful for that really. She was glad that she had been able to make things better between them. Her gaze flicked over to Noctua as she was asked if she was okay and she nodded, "Yeah, I'm...good." No, she wasn't about to say anything about what happened between herself and Noctua, nope, not at all. She saw Yukiro's hand out of the corner of her eye and she happily grabbed a hold of it before she ate some more of the noodles. She looked over at NIGHT when she came over, and she tilted her head a little as she looked at her. She wasn't going to voice the question that seemed to have been echoed.

The final person who showed up though, she didn't know. She offered a silent wave with her free hand before she looked at Koga and Noctua. "Soooo, why was I dragged away from a date to talk to you two?" Well, there was a lovely slip of the tongue. Either way, she wasn't going to retract the statement, just ate some more noodles as she waited.

Her brief amount of happiness was gone and she sighed as she nodded, "Hot cocoa sounds good." She accepted his assistance to stand and they were soon off to find some hot cocoa. But now, they were walking with the cups in their hands. She was still thinking on how to even solve the rifts in relationships that she caused. "Right, 'I'm sorry' if only things were that simple. I don't think I ever told you what I said to him when we parted."

"Yukiro, the thing that Koga was trying to tell you yesterday was that I am using you. Now, this is correct. You were a pawn in my game, and well, the game is now done. Thank you for your help and I hope you do well after this."

She sighed as she told those words to her brother, staring into her cup then. She really had messed things up hadn't she. "When he came to help you..save me, I didn't expect to see him. I honestly didn't even expect to see you or Noctua honestly. But then, with the message that I sent you, it does kind of make sense, you and I are too much alike sometimes." She rubbed her eyes then, hoping that he didn't see the tears that she was trying to hide.

She would have said some kind of comment in return, but her gaze went to the deer that seemed to have found them. They had been doing so well with it just begin them bonding. Then some hostile deer had to show up. Yeah, she didn't like this much at all really. She just wanted to continue to tease the crap out of her brother, but it was being interrupted. So instead, he teases her. Now, she didn't know who to be mad at more, her brother or the deer. Since she couldn't harm her brother, she pulled her sword from it's sheath and stared at her brother for a moment. Let him squirm and wonder if she was about to smack him with it.

Instead, she quickly turned and rushed the deer, her blade turning green from Rage Blow, just before she managed to actually land the hit to the deer's chest. Hey look at that, she manage to hit the stupid thing. She moved away from the deer as she looked over at Koga, "You going to help? And one comment on me hitting it, and I'm throwing snow at you!" She would too.

She let her brother's words rumble around in her head. So much so, that it distracted her from the fact that one, he wasn't talking anymore, and two, he hadn't thrown a snowball in return to her barrage of five. Did that mean that all five of them hit? Yes, Tala, yes it did, and that is why he is running right at you? Wait, crap Koga was rushing her and the next thing she she, she was tackled into the snow. "Hey!" Her exclamation was a bit muffled between her brother being on her and the snow that now covered her as well.

She pushed him off of her before grabbing one of her snowballs and chucking it at him. "I know that I just need to talk him to though, Masa. It's just...I don't know how? Yeah that seems like the right way to word it." This would be a sight to see, Koga has ever seen his sister this beat up over a guy, ever. Let alone trying to find a way to talk to him to apologize. Welcome to new waters there Koga, have fun, don't drown.

She rolled eyes eyes then and shook her head, "You know, miracles have to happen every once in a while. I think you've been due for one for maybe the past.....nineteen years?" She might get smacked for that one, but it was so worth it to her as she chuckled at him.

"Masa...," she sighed then as she started to walk once more before she shook her head. "I really wish I could show you how much all of them have hurt you." Tala, might you be exaggerating now? "But still, I make no promises brother. I'm just going to protect you."

"Well, you do make it easy to make fun of you. You might be stubborn dear brother, but you still make it too easy." Tala laughed lightly, man, right now would have been the perfect moment to have her brother's wolf here, just to laugh at him with her. It was bound to happen.

@Koga

She listened to him as she made her pile of snowballs larger. She wanted to finish this war and get some hot cocoa, but that wasn't happening at all right now. Instead, he was chastising her about apologizing to others. Sure, she should, but she... wait, did he just mention Yukiro. "I know I di- do, but I don't know how to talk to him Koga..." She felt the snowball hit her shoulder and that broke her out of her depressive thoughts then.

She groaned, in pain. That pun was just horrible. She wasted no time, she grabbed snowball after snowball, sending five of them right for her brother. She didn't need to say anything else, if any of those hit him, he would know why.

"You won't brother dearest, the cold might hurt you!" She saw the snowball coming and moved behind her tree as she rolled her eyes. "Brother please, stop making me want to vomit." He might actually try to tackle her for that one.
