  1. A glance toward the common rabble of the place shows little in the way of interest. Some players and some not, but all looked the part. Save one, that catches her attention rather quickly. Here was this almost sweater vest wearing yahoo in light blonde hair, in sandals that at first she could even swear she saw socks under them. "Wow, don't you look like a damn commercial?" Celeste barked out toward him on impulse, used to chastising people for what they were sporting. "Bout to go golfing? How's the caddy game these days? Paying well?" That same venomous bite. She had to get a closer look at this dork, who looked like he was dressed by his mom for a trip to the park. He didn't look like he was that young, which made it even weirder that he had the fashion sense of a toddler. Uncomfortably close behind him, he sure as shit was wearing sandals. The smell of the bakery causes her stomach to churn, the NPC at the counter back steps at the brash show of volume. To Celeste's inventory she removes a bottle of liquid in a dark and deep crimson, drinking fully at this disgusting yet effective draught to sate herself.

    A single shift from the woman as the bandits simply turn to face some unseen combatant, she follows their eyesight to a male covered in as much black as a human could wear. Her face contorts "The fuck are you supposed to be? Wearing that much black to hide the nail polish and edgy teenage angst?" she offers bluntly to the man. "Save it, these ones are mine." Her weapon vibrates and begins to flicker, tendrils of red spin off of its edge in an almost chaotic fashion. An detonation of the violent cleave, the energy trapped becomes thick like a guillotine. The bodies become nothing more then red pixels that cause the girl to vanish into them for but a flash. Destroyed. Her stamina takes a nose dive, and she wobbles a bit panting heavily. On her lips a wide grin, and to her side a falling head of her billhook. Gone and payment was now due.

  3. Shifting Sands Triggered: -1 Accuracy/Evasion to players!

    The town of Rig was more then delighted when the red head had offered to cure their blight, that thing that was worming around in the bowels of their city. Celeste had just the thing to cure this little problem, and it was a massive steel cleaver that finds two of this things three heads severed into a pile. It hisses and recoils out of self preservation, its body sinking back into the sands below. "Come out here and fight me you pile of shit, I don't have all day." Celeste begins to stir the sands with her axe like a shovel. Why'd everything have to run, waste her damn time. It reminded her of the damn sand shark that almost ate her, and she kept her eyes on the ground beneath her feet waiting for teeth to begin to show. The red cleaves that creates sprays of sand like a handful of tossed snow, her patience was already thinning even finer.

  4. Inferno Cavern Entered (-10 HP upon CD roll 5 or lower), ID# 185892 results: Craft: 11 [Safe]

    A three day travel that better damn well be worth it, Celeste works her way down the paths beaten into the rock by players traveling this distance in excess. She wasn't the only one who sought this quest to completion it seemed. There was others before her, and would surely be more after her. As she moved into the inferno cavern, the heat was almost unbearable. In its rich orange glow, it worked against her peach skin and made her hair almost glow with its presence. The howls came next as creatures began to manifest from the magma. In clouds of black soot, they scamper onto the more solid sections in sprays of molten rock. Before they can even right themselves, or move a muscle Celeste screams forward. One blow, a large arc of her weapon draws a single defining slice through them all. They explode like charges in sequence. More begin to stir and climb from the liquid, and the red head smiles. "Gimme all you've got!" she yelps with a snap of her teeth, a carnal display of excitement and fury.

  5. Low Light Penalty Triggered: -1 Accuracy

    One brutal broad stroke cleaves the entire cave in a flare of red, the whole thing shakes and the sound echoes off the walls like thunder. Somehow Celeste had been drug into being a damn CPS worker, and the promise of payment was the only thing driving her even do this. She could give a shit less what happened to the kid, as long as she got paid in the end. The bats fly like missiles and explode in strobes of light that make the place glow albeit briefly, an easy finish. An ode to her strength. A glance down to the blonde kid. "Come, don't make me ask twice." Celeste barks to it, the kid frightened obliges her request as she points with her left hand toward her feet. To the mother, in an instant the crap was long over. The red haired woman had what she was after, and a paltry some of coin later she strolls the streets of Delilah. She had some time to kill still, and her pockets were lined pretty well with coin as it was. It was time for a bit of a breather.

  6. Right into the thick of it without a care, as soon as her targets could brandish weapons. They scream out to each other, and a couple manage shields as the others completely lose their heads. With a flop to the floor the two that remain have their respective shields shattered into pieces. "Bring it!" Celeste snaps in a feral bark, her eyes ablaze like candle light. The axe in her grasp washes red, becoming a burning ball of aggression on the end of a rod. The bandits draw their respective steel and eye her, a little discouraged by the player's outrage. The red head just wanted the thrill, the fight. Wanting to bask in overpowering them, as she squared her feet and eyed them both with that same intensity strapped to her face with a furrowed brow. Who was going to make the first move? Celeste could hardly stand the anticipation.

    Exhausted from a day well spent, working her ass off to get stronger and put more rewards under her belt. Celeste felt that now was a good enough time to retire, the amberish hue of a setting sun barely visible showing that the timer of the day was ticking down. Offering her axe away into its digital sheathe, she breaks through the canopy and out into the greener and safer pastures of the floor. Into the town of coral that was still ripe with activity, finding her way to the gate and calling out Angel's point. She needed some shut eye, and to cram all this crap onto her shelves. To begin again tomorrow, bright and early against the grindstone to sharpen herself into a fine and adequate point. As she would land with a large yawn, as if her body was agreeing with her mind. She'd find a bed to fall in and take the rest of the night in silence.

  8. The reply of her energy bar tells her that she was good to begin, a sharp whistle from the girl pierces that silence like an arrow. From 4 indiscriminate angles from all sides they pour out in rapid tears toward the girl. That grim letter in her grasp in platinum steel flares in a wash of crimson. The air tears and cracks as she lifts it off her right shoulder and burns through the air in a broad horizontal sweep. The first to be caught in the blast is cut clean in two pieces, the second caught just above the waist is tugged with the head. It collides with the next before slipping from the end, rolling and tumbling into a surrounding static object. Like a glass dish it explodes into pieces upon impact. One gruesome display of her capabilities later, and there was nothing left to stand against her. She'd made a right mess of all that attempted to attack her, reaping what she wanted all along.

  9. OOC EN Regen {Relaxed} Triggered: Full EN Restore, Concentration Refreshed, +10 HP

    A glance through the densest part of this darkened canopy, the sun all but bloched out by the thick patches of emerald green overhead. Creating a large umbrella that shields the floor from any attempt at rays cast to breach them, creating almost a cavern of wood and flora. Celeste stands out in the shade, her eyes gleam a bit against the backdrop. A rich orange shade slightly flared against the shade, the vibrant hair atop her head the same. There was a dim glow of light, the glare from the places where it could pierce that veil. Offering just enough light to see, but leaving it in a shade. The place was still just as empty feeling as the rest of the forest, like a vacuum there was little to take in, in the way of senses. It was slightly unnerving how this place was so left bare, as if these things had tore apart anything else that would take up residency here.

    Ripping her axe out of the crater produced, showing nothing left of the thing she just crushed like an insect. What follows after is the little noise of her stamina decreasing like a timer ticking down. A sigh as she slings the weapon over her right shoulder, cradling the handle with her neck as her hair passes over it. Wandering around the proximity, figuring that she had more than likely done a fair job of culling what was here. Hunt too often in one place and your going to push something on the brink of extinction, she'd assume that if she didn't move that it would be slim pickings. Finding it best to use the time she had to wait to change location and give her higher chance at yields. Else she'd just be wasting her time, and the woman wasn't one to allow something so precious to be squandered.

    A sickly shutter, a twist of its dome with a crunch of something in its neck. A paled form, like a player but in black and white as if the color had been drained from them. They drop to their knees, and with a vault begin to move for Celeste. The woman seems unconvinced and unconcerned with its approach. A solid drop of the weapon like a hammer on an anvil, she drives it face first into the floor beneath her with enough force to disturb the ground with a shake. It detonates and creates a sweep of kicked up dust, the signature tell of slain enemy. The shower of fractals that bounce off the soil and into the stars, that once made up the thing now given back to the system. It would come back, and Celeste couldn't wait to kill it more. How else was she going to buy herself a house?

  12. Handling that axe and slamming it against the tree behind her, it causes the thing to shake. It sounds like a dinner bell, the ring forcing more of her would be aggressors to permeate the cover around her. Now alerted to her presence they tear at unnatural speeds, on all fours in huge bounds. she drops the weapons dead to the dirt next to her right foot, and once that gap is closed she cleaves in one broad and aggressive stroke, creating a spray of red in a huge slice that washes the place in the tiny pixels that made them up. A sea of red colored data washes over her, the hue consuming her and causing her hair to flutter from the force. The only remaining culprit, a single solidary beast that had not charged. Its head bobs and twists, sizing up the woman and looking for a throat at which to strike against.

    Her eyes are allowed to close for a moment, and her memory twists back to that room from calming the soul. A recollection alone with those sconce of purple flame flickering beside those large and weighted double doors. That last door still was the most strange to her, the fact that it was that kid. How the hell was he relevant enough that he ended up being the final door, why wasn't it someone else. Did she even have someone else who could appear? Was that the reason why? Celeste had no answers to her own questions, and in this slight disconnect and moment between she couldn't help but allow them to attack her thoughts. The sudden ding of her stamina bar like a kitchen timer reaching zero breaks her free from its clutches. Her eyes flare open and correct her weapon in her hands, using her elbows to help herself to her feet.

    A sharp inhale to a steady and slow exhale forces the thumping heart in her digital chest to slow, it riddles her ears a bit in the silence. Her eardrums pounding alongside its rhythm, as she slides the handle of her axe across her midsection. The head of the weapon falls off to one side, becoming limp in her grasp as she slides down a long spire of a tree. The darkened bark chipping off in pieces, as she pays it little mind as it sprinkles the ground near her feet. The girl was painfully aware of how limited her pool was, with each rendition of this activity further proving just how short that little bar was. Two maybe three attacks at max. Then I'm out. This game doesn't give me a lot to work with. Celeste thinks allowing her head to rest against the trunk at her back, an eye drawing to the display in the corner of her vision.

  15. The coming outcries from the forest cause some of the local fauna to flee, the very silence broken against the thunderous boom that echoes out moments after Celeste enters. The sounds of hissing and screams shortly after, one single solitary blow causes all that she faced to be reduced to ash. The woman was gaining the power she sought, and it played out just as she would have hoped. It wasn't going to be too much longer before she could really get into the throes of what she wished to be. Taking a seat for herself, allowing her energy which she had just reduced to half in a single swipe to begin to refill. To her senses flow the chaining voices of notifications, screaming on the side of her screen one after another. In her silence she peruses the volume, using an extended index finger to shift it up as it has overgrown the box.

    Rising to the flat of her feet and moving closer to the source of the sound, it seemed to come from town. "What the hell?" Celeste couldn't help but murmur unsure the context, her foot catching a rusty shield piece jutting out near a root. She stumbles a couple steps before snapping around perturbed. Eyeing the piece with anger, she reaches down and rips it out. It was riddled with rust, decayed and messed up from time. She knew damn well that items didn't rust normally, this was clearly a material. Popping it into her inventory without a second thought, a ding from her HUD alerting her to refueled stamina. Her vision moves back to the town on the horizon through the trees. "Guess maybe later." she chooses to dismiss the sound, she'd check it out later if it was still around. She wasn't going to let whatever that was, pull her from the chance at some easy coin.

    A glance around the forest of memory with a scan, her vision scanning from left to right and finding nothing more than a total mirror. The place was droll and seemingly empty in its expanse, other than whatever the hell creatures scattered through it from absolutely nowhere. They were like a slightly more human version of those things on floor 13, those strange hollowed humanoid things with claws and teeth. She couldn't help but see the similarity, her breath becoming more equalized with each forced steady exhalation. "A bit odd." The slight murmur from her lips just as a mental release, as her gaze would fixate where one was smeared on the dirt. A notable trail carved where it fell and skipped along the ground. In the distance an echo of power, as if something big was happening just outside of her purview. It was just as odd, causing her brow to twist in curiosity.

    Another shredding swipe causes what remains to scatter in pieces that flop to the ground like heavy rain before the system reclaims the pieces. They explode like miniature explosives one after another leaving tiny sprays of data, Celeste left panting with a dwindling energy pool. The girl had done the damage needed, and made just that much coin at the wake of the killing. A rather prideful and slightly twisted grin still stuck to her face like glue. She had gotten what she sought. A lift of the weapon stores it in the pocket at which she kept it, fizzling out of her grasp with a flash of red light. Celeste takes a sharp inhale to begin the process of stabilizing her uneven breaths and increased heartrate, forcing the stamina recovery to begin to start. As the pops litter the ground through the path taken, she claims a spot next to one of the trees within this place, she'd wait out the spawn and let her shit come back.

    Another shrill whistle beckons to the woods, forcing a storm of the same to rush out toward her in droves. A sweep of that cleaver of hers connects with one and drags its still expiring torso onto the one adjacent to it. They both rocket off to her left side, dragging with it the weight of her axe. She stomps her heel against the body it was still attached in, as a pair of sharpened claws take a chunk out of her back. She heaves back and plucks free her billhook and a careful couple of steps back give her more room to work. Celeste glances to her right arm with a vibrant red tear on her peach skin, showing a slight glow in the flayed pieces. Little bastard got her pretty good, but it didn't amount to much. The exchange did the opposite that it would to most, Celeste was excited by the conflict and the trading of blows.

    Lifting to the flats of her feet, sliding her heels back into the rough below her. She teeters a bit, struggling to hold her balance as she slides that little nugget away. A bright lime green plant, still dripping a moist muck, little attached clumps of soil still held to vine like roots. The girl had no clue what it was for, or what it could be used for. She did however know that she could probably slap a price tag on it and sell it to some schmuck. That was as good of a reason as any, as it is deposited into the imaginary bag provided to her as it slips away in a flash of light. A familiar ring on her eyes, a little green bar yelping in excitement to draw her gaze. It was time to start the show again, and with a grin that draws across her face, she peels that grim hunk of steel back from where the herb had been placed. Time to line her pockets just that much further.

    After that quick display of violence, the entire place falls silent. The girl remains solid, a perk in her ears takes in the forest and it replies only with that vacuum. She couldn't hear a damn thing, which the absence was as noticeable as it was creepy. She could almost feel her skin begin to shutter, it was oh so strange and she couldn't shake the feeling like she was being watched. Celeste dismisses the feeling, trying to ignore its presence and not allow it to take her by the hand. She had places to be, things to do and she could hardly spend the daylight she had left to spend here. No, the girl needed more. Always needed more. A dismiss of her axe, an earnest show to look around again for anything she may have missed. She had a timer to wait for, for it to tick down and allow her to have more fun. For now, the small plant that she manages to come across would have to satiate her desires.

    A single swipe as they rush from various corners around her, from the canopy of dark wood and thickened seaweed green leaves. As they sceam from the regular opacity around her, breaching into the area with a spray of leaves behind them. They hiss and leap like feral hounds, drawed black like charcoal skin and with hollowed reflections that feigned humanity but was clearly not. The chain detonation that follows suit is a complete erasure in one fell swoop, the red haired girl exploiting power bestowed to her by the system. The entire group against them expire in within an instant, causing a scream of her message box, the left half of her screen being washed with text in a light blue hue. She was going to be so rich once this was over, and the simplicity of this made quests almost worthless by comparison. Celeste had found her money maker.

    There was a significantly more amount of players hobbling around today, perhaps due to the time of day. A burning ball in the sky that blazed a single huge dot among a cyan blue sky, more than likely fueled by the lake of reflection. A lot of chatter and excited talking was audible even from a range. Celeste cannot help but just shake her head, unsure of the motive for such a collective. They sure as shit were not doing anything sitting around like that babbling so hyperactively. As she broke into the canopy and gave a rather shrill whistle, hoping to agitate everything within the forest all at once. It was like ringing a dinner bell, calling all the hounds from wherever it was they were hiding the forest. A harsh howl off in the distance, proved that they had heard her and were heading for the sound. "Time to spank."

    Celeste moves to Floor 22

    A hop, skip and a jump back to the floors primary settlement, ushering through the burned fields back to where it was still green. In the main section of the floor: Krycim. The whole village owned by a bunch of butt flap wearing women. Celeste shakes her head as she turns in the quest and draws it's grayed out, removing it from the side of her screen. "See, you probably later, you heathens." Hopping up to the gate and yelling out the city of Coral as her next objective. Within a moment the familiar stink of salt water, a slight breeze and the soft chatter of NPC that held the town up attacks her senses in unison. Bouncing down the little circular platform, right into the main birth of similarly yet less wild foliage. Her goal was the cash forest, the creepy one with ghost people that crapped out money when you popped off their noggins.

    A drop of her weapon like a guillotine catches the beast as it fumbles and attempts to right itself, one swipe dislodges its head from its body. The ground shutters beneath the blow, the very blackened sand spraying a tuff. A black film of tossed powder, a rolling skull to a hound destroyed. Celeste peels it back with a drag as the carcass sprays red pixels around, the energy contained within its frame released in a moment. It turns to ash itself as it takes to the wind, fizzling like tiny fireworks in a shatter of glass. That familiar reward screen asserts itself on her vision as it always did, proving that the quest was long over. A quick and decisive end, a tiny amount of coin for her pocket and a reward she'd cram in her closet. The experience however, showed just a bit closer to getting just a little stronger. That was a delightful addition.
