Wulfrin rushed towards the pack of wolves once again. This time his blade shone with the brilliant blue of a different sword art. Each wolf recoiled from the strike of his sword. As the final strike landed a holographic square appeared to move outward from the group, the afterimage of Horizontal Square. After hearing Morningstar's looting rule, Wulfrin got an idea. As he followed in Morningstar's lead and attacked the newly found Shallows Prowlers, Wulfrin executed his sword skill. As he moved to attack the first alligator, he aimed a bit higher, causing the attack to miss. He couldn't take all the kills could he? He used the extra momentum to strike the second prowler with tremendous force and carry the momentum to the remaining two targets. This time the square did not appear as the skill did not complete all the strikes, but there were three gators that shattered into an array of polygons.

With the renewed vigor Wulfrin fell inline at the rear of the group. He was content covering the group's rear in this case. The party pressed deeper into the dungeon, eventually wandering into the second chamber. As they did, two bronze golems appeared from the walls attempting to flank the group. The shadows began to warp around them as Freyd made his play. Once light returned he was pointing to one of the golems attempting to escape.
