Wulfrin took a seat and the cup of tea offered to him. He found himself oddly at peace in the small cottage. After a few minutes of being in the back, Morningstar appeared again behind the counter to deliver his findings. "Yeah I figured there wouldn't be much," Wulfrin replied as he collected his items. "My tier isn't really high enough to get the cool things. I am surprised there were some uniques hidden in there." He smiled as he finished the tea he was offered. "Thanks for the help though." Wulfrin went to work at his anvil. Today he was going to keep trying to build his inventory. Once again he left the material in the fire too long causing it to melt away and shatter. His second attempt was a smoother experience. The blade came out too brittle again, but Wulfrin was able to salvage the attempt. Returning to the familiar shop of Floor 21, The Knight Shift, Wulfrin couldn't help but smile at the forge in a roaring blaze and being pushed to its limits. Having recently received a substantial level boost, Wulfrin needed to purchase some new gear befitting his increased tier. Another day to create stock on Floor 22. The shop was barren, so it had to be done. Wulfrin started by putting some material to melt in the forge. The first was a catastrophic failure. Wulfrin had let teh forge get too hot and a majority of the material melted away. He rushed to save the second. Hammering the still glowing hot material on his anvil after rescuing it, the blade was looking promising. "I don't think it's weird," Wulfrin replied. "I actually think it would have changed the entirety of the gameplay style." Think average guys like you and I with no special abilities and then we are plucked form our regular lives and forced to undertake some big time, world defining quest. After finally finding a small forge that suited his needs Wulfrin set to work attempting to build up a stock of items. While yes he could sell them, it was more likely he could use them to fuse together for more powerful items. He set to work on a few weapons. As he worked he tried his best to remember all he could from his various crafting tutorials throughout Aincrad. Unfortunately both of his attempts for the day yielded no success and he lost his materials in the process. There is always room for improvement but today felt like an extremely low blow. This was a slight advantage in the heat of combat, since he could notice and react quicker to his opponents moves, but for an exercise that required mental focus, it was definitely going to be a hinderance. The trip back to Tolbana was very uneventful. The paths were well traveled and monsters kept their distance allowing for a swift return. Any additional materials he managed to scrounge up would be confiscated by the system, but that was never his goal. He wanted a chest to expand his inventory a bit. If he was going to live somewhere he may as well enjoy the view while he worked. The higher he went the more likely to find other players looking for gear.
