  1. And just like that I've walked right into an episode of Supernatural. Wulfrin sighed to himself as Astra broke the hastily crafted headstone. "No need sir," Wulfrin held up a hand and started manifesting his travel tool bag. "I should be more than capable of repairing your grave marker. I'll do my best to ensure it wont break again." It was a lot of pressure to work while being stared at by a spirit that could turn vengeful at any moment, but it didn't stop him from pulling out his tools and doing his best to resecure the marker. The wood was rotted with at least several years of wea
  2. "DPS is a common first choice," Wulfrin scribbled down some notes. "It also is a path I know well, considering it is also my specialty. A scout build can be figured out at a later date when you've got more SP to invest, it won't be too much of a build shift." The comments about his lack of adhering to the in game items were nothing he hadn't hear before, but he still let out a brief chuckle in response. "Yeah figured if I'm forced to live here, I might as well bring a bit of the world I'm comfortable with to Aincrad. Helps keep me a bit less on edge when I can take a break from the death
  3. Wulfrin was unphased by the influx of accusations and bravado that the player who didn't even carry a blade or armor getting wrapped up in a tutorial quest presented. He'd seen it before, and honestly it always seemed to surprise him. The only time it came up was if a player wasn't keeping up with the progress of the floor teams. He'd given up counting the days that passed in the real world once he discovered Aincrad had its own time setting, which was pretty early on in their forced timeshare program. Instead he let the player rant and vent their frustrations before addressing each of the con
  4. "Well since you're here," Wulfrin replied with a smile as he gestured for Vanta to follow. "You must be looking to get your first true kit. Come step into my office and we can talk specifics." Wulfrin led Vanta towards the back corner of his shop where a set of stairs ascended into a small office secluded from the bustling storefront below. At the center was a desk covered in a cluttering of various projects strewn about. Wulfrin had several projects all in various states of completion. Across from the desk were two chairs which Wulfrin gestured for Vanta to take a seat. Wulfrin took his

  6. The setting sun was not doing any favors for an already creepy cemetery. In stark contrast to the lovely autumnal vibes of the rest of the floor, Wuflrin couldn't help but get the feeling something was very off here. "We must have taken a wrong turn somewhere," Wulfrin spoke softly to his companion, Astra. "As far as I can tell, this isn't on the Floor 28 map anywhere. We should use caution." Wulfrin pressed on into the graveyard before them. The last time he prowled through burial grounds, he ended up in a knockout drag out with a crazy multiarmed custodian of the grounds. The heads
  7. "What he said," Wulfrin affirmed his apprentice's opening statement. "Also we're here on behalf of Gladis, that poor NPC that you saved from tripping earlier. She's scripted to do that everyday, so she thanks you for the routine break and is super sorry she couldn't come herself." He let out a small chuckle. He knew it was ridiculous, but that didn't stop his witty humor from taking centerstage a bit. "On a more serious note, Astra is right. Dorian's little money lending quest can be quite the tedious task if you aren't prepared or know to grab a few things from the NPCs in what is essentially

  10. Wulfrin stood his ground as Astra rush passed him, angering the giant bear. Astra's blade was alight with a brilliant blue light that had a small trail of particles following it. The art that followed was a heavy blow causing Kumatetsu to falter slightly. The bear did not lose momentum and instead continued its rage filled charge into the arena just outside its lair. Wulfrin burst forward with his own heavy overhead strike sundering what was the last bit of Kumatetsu's natural armor. Between the two swordsmen, the bear's HP had almost hit the halfway mark, leaving Wulfrin with an impressed fee
  11. "We can cut her off at Zach's place," Wulfrin nodded in agreement. "This way. I know a short cut." Wulfrin took off down an alley, sprinting through the streets like a man on a mission. He twisted and turned through various alleyways and cut throughs, working through the most efficient path to Zach's humble little alchemy shop. As the largest settlement in the whole game, Wulfrin was thankful that SAO didn't come with actual exhaustion mechanics. When they arrived at Zachariah's small alchemy shop. Wulfrin scanned the area. As far as he could tell, that player hadn't made it to the shop q
  12. In stark contrast to the tranquil vibe of Coral, the main settlement of Floor 22, Sentinel Armaments stands as a hub for player trade and item collection. Inside the bustling shop, a forge stands still burning hot as a hawk made of fire sleeps peacefully at the center. Around the forge several other stations stand, a jeweler's counter with various pieces of jewelry in a protective glass case, a wood burning brick pizza oven where someone is cooking up a massive buffet of new york style pizzas, an alchemy lab that looks like it was left mid project, and a humble spinner's wheel that currently
  13. Wulfrin's attention fixated on the boss arena before them. This would be the second time he had tromped upon the sleeping grounds of Kumatetsu. Astra's initial observation of a big bear was pretty spot on. Its fur was matted and grey. They had arrived shortly before the beast had roused for its morning hunts. "Let me get set up," Wulfrin whispered. "Once Solaris and I are in position, you can ring his dinner bell." Without a word, Wulfrin tilted his head towards the sky. From the branches, a small hawk of fire silently began to circle the clearing. Shortly after Wulfrin stalked out i
  14. "That would be my plan yes," Wulfrin affirmed Astra's question about what location they would be fishing at. "Been watching the plaza for Dorian to make his usual appearance, but so far no sign of him." Wulfrin took another sip of his morning tea as a blur of movement caught his eyes. A player was steadying the poor NPC server gal that regularly tripped and spilt her tray of drinks. Wulfrin had all the routines down mentally as if the Town of Beginnings was his own personal Groundhog Day, so anything out of the norm tended to catch his gaze. Wulfrin's gaze befell the player as they froze
  15. <<Quest Details>> Wulfrin gazed upon the familiar sands of Floor 5. This was the home of another of his past times, killing a quest mob known as Terra Firma. The first step on that list was to speak with Abdullah. Wulfrin parted the beaded curtains of the Aristocrat's lavish tent uncloaked for the first time in ages. Abdullah's face soured as soon as their gazes met. "And to what do I owe the pleasure of a mongrel's presence," Abdullah scoffed towards Wulfrin. "I'm here only because you are a required flag," Wulfrin retorted as he paced the room. "That and I was hopi
  16. <<Quest Details>> Fresh off the recent raid on Floor 29, Wulfrin was in desperate need of a relaxing fishing trip. Early in the morning, Wulfrin set off from his home on Floor 22 down to his humble beginings on Floor 1. As he stepped off the teleport gate, he took in a deep breath, absorbing the fresh air. Aincrad's floor variety was something that still amazed him even after all this time. One moment you could be fighting for your life against eldritch horrors and the next you could be strolling the streets of the largest settlement in the game. He wore no armor as he had opt
  17. “Sewallus has a lot going on so it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.” Wulfrin responded, his eyes fixated on his gauntleted right hand. “He tends to just dip without notice. At least he’s got a bit more tact than Abdullah.” Wulfrin was absent deep into his own mental observations of the fight with Monkey King. The flames of his sword art which usually only clung to the blade he used to initiate the art, had instead seemed to originate from him. The similarities to how the shadows clung to him as a result of his run ins with the Gemini mobs was to say the least bone chilling. In recent
