Wulfrin's attention turned back to his foe. The stun had worn off on the Bandit Boss as Wulfrin slowly approached. With a wry grin, Wulfrin spun in place with his sword drawn, kicking up a thick dust cloud. Amidst the makeshift disguise, Wulfrin placed a little present on the ground for his target. A heavy iron bear trap, a tool he had used on numerous foes at this point, was carefully positioned in such a way that the Bandit Boss would not miss. "C'mon then," Wulfrin taunted as the dust began to settle. "Why don't you show me what you can do?" "I'll get you for this cheap trick," Th

"Yeah I'm going to need my guildmate back," Wulfrin called out to the bandit boss. "Take your hands off him and focus on me." "So you're the one responsible for the destruction of my camp?" The bandit boss licked its lips as if it hungered for a fight. "You could say that. Why don't you take me on and find out?" "Cocky bastard you are." "Only when i know my foe is doomed to fail." The burst of energy from Riardon served as as sort of starting gun. Wulfrin and the Bandit Boss rushed forward clashing sword with hunting knife. Wulfrin had the speed advantage however, and

Wulfrin was still winded from his over-channeling of his custom skill. It was a heavy sacrifice using such an ability, which is likely why he never witnessed Freyd use it. Essentially he cut his own strength to create the duplicates and as a result their exertion falls back to him once they return. While technically the numbers were the same, using it in this way always seemed to take its toll. Wulfrin grit his teeth and forced himself to press on. The final group was not to far away from his location. Solaris fluttered overhead giving him both directions and encouragement as he moved in

"Go!" Wulfrin ordered as he approached the shattered barricade. "Corner the last group! I'll be right behind you!" As the burst of energy manifested from Riardon engulfed him, Wulfrin's eyes narrowed, focusing on the shadows of the bandits. As he rushed forward, Wulfrin dissolved into shadows reappearing next to one of the bandits. With a wave of his hand the shadows of the other bandits began to move becoming duplicates of Wulfrin. Each 'Wulfrin' drove their blade mercilessly into the heart of their respective bandit. It was a harsh reality sure, but Wulfrin had no choice, but to call on

Wulfrin followed in as KnightinGale moved on towards the barricade called out by Riardon. So far the plan was going off with zero issues. If they could keep up the pressure, these bandits should fall with relative ease. Wulfrin's mind started to drift towards the boss. The last time he had gone through this quest he had proper back up. The boss didn't even make it a couple of rounds before falling at the feet of him and Coredlia. This time though, Wulfrin would get his true one on one fight. If he was lucky the Bandit Boss would actually honor his challenge. Not that they would have much choic

"Right," Wulfrin sighed. "I deserved that one." Wulfrin charged forward, his Blade of Zariel carrying the full weight of his own strength as well as the divinity that was trapped within this very floor. While KnightinGale had chosen a heavy areal slam to open, Wulfrin stayed low to the ground, calling both flame and shadows to curl towards him. His blade blazed to life with his Phoenix Wing sword art as he darted around from foe to foe. To the outside viewer, Wulfrin appeared to be moving fast enough to create after images, each striking a single foe with immeasurable force. Another burst

"Here's the welcoming party," Wulfrin commented as they approached the outskirts of the camp. The bandits were wasting no time, almost like they expected to be raided. Wulfrin couldn't help but crack a smile as he marched forward to meet the group of four. Wulfrin stood still as the group surrounded him. "You picked a bad time to get lost friend," One of the bandits said as they raised a blade to Wulfrin's chin. "Did I?" Wulfrin scoffed as shadows and flames began to dance around his form. "Last time I checked, I was right where I intended to be." Wulfrin's holy blade, The

"Not too far," Wulfrin said as he dismissed the large sack into the depths of his inventory. "We'll be following that river I love to fish at so much. It's source is a cave that serves as the starting point for a quest chain called: Scents of The Wild. It's essentially a boss rush, so good practice if you plan to join the frontlines." Wulfrin continued to peruse the countless stalls. With a sigh he pulled out a small booklet and struck through a line. He was running out of NPCs to get supplies for the frontlines. At this point he had exhausted most of the stock within the Town of Beginni

Wulfrin pulled the two newest members of the Tracker's Alliance to Floor 9. They gathered around a large boulder cool enough for Wulfrin to lay out a rough map of a bandit camp. He was absolutely livid at this point. Not only had he run out of NPC shops to clear out for supplies, what little he had scrounged together had been stolen by the bandits of this camp. Wulfrin was hell bent on some fiery revenge, befitting the volcanic nature of Floor 9. "Thanks for agreeing to help me out," Wulfrin smiled as he manifested a spread of meats and cheeses. 'These bandits have been a thorn in my side

This time Wulfrin was out of tricks, so he would have to face Terra Firma on equal footing this time. At least the match had been relatively leveled. Thanks to the nicks in Terra Firma's armor, Solaris, and the now extinguished flames, Wulfrin guesstimated Terra Firma was libel to fall in one more blow even despite not having access to his most powerful sword art. With another volley of heavy strikes, Wulfrin slammed his blade into the side of Terra Firma. The hardened scales shattered with each blow Wulfrin landed until the sand shark itself burst into fractal motes. "And that's that," W

Terra Firma was fast as ever, but would it fall for the same trick twice? Wulfrin had to hope so. As his massive foe started to bare down on him from behind, Wulfrin cleverly placed yet another bear trap, this time grasping the opposite leg. Terra Firma roared in anger, but Wulfrin was already in motion. This time Wulfrin's blade shined an emerald green as his strikes became heavier as each impact caused deeper and deeper cracks to appear on Terra Firma's still smoldering heavily armored carapace. The debuff appeared signifying that Terra Firma's damage mitigation had lessened. Despite his bes

[ EV | F29 ] A Fatal Error Has Occurred. {Spectral Knight Combat}
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Intermediate Floors
So far the group was making fair progress for not having developed a solid plan prior to jumping into battle. All it took was one volley of attacks for well over half the Spectral Knight's health bar to vanish. Solaris continued to circle it clawing and pecking to the best of its abilities. Wulfrin's blade ignited in raging hellfire as he took the stance tied with his Blazing Bite sword art. With a sword boasting the odd duality of fire and ice, Wulfrin charged the Spectral Knight. Each slash carved deeper and deeper into the knight's form. "DoTs seem to stick to it!" Wulfrin called out o -
"Good," Wulfrin felt a smile break across his face. "That means I can go all out." Wulfrin reached into his pocket and retrieved a large iron bear trap. As Terra Firma leapt into the air to chomp down on him, Wulfrin rolled clear causing the beheamoth to crash directly into the skillfully placed trap. With his target successfully trapped, Wulfrin turned his blade back towards the giant sand shark. Wulfrin's holy blade ignited into a torrential flame. Wulfrin danced around Terra Firma in much the same vein as Solaris was, the two in proper sync for the first time. Each cut seared against t

Wulfrin waited by the gate, his cowl pulled up over his head in a poor attempt to hide his face from the guards. Once Riardon regrouped with him, Wulfrin led him to the dusty arena. Wulfrin began to do a few stretches to limber up before jumping into the arena. "Remember," Wulfrin spoke between strained stretches. "You just have to stay close enough that my energy regenerates. So long as you don't strike the thing, you should be completely safe. Even unbuffed I can take this thing down, so just sit back and watch the exp pour in. Once you hit level 11 you can start actually doing some thi

"Alright here's the plan," Wulfrin said as he laid out a rough play book across a dusty tavern table. "When we actually go to face the quest boss, you just need to stay back." Wulfrin and Riardon were standing over a simply drawn map of the desert basin, a location Wulfrin could map out by memory at this point. It was about time that Wulfrin's aquaintance got his boots dirty and started climbing some levels. It was the perfect time to do so as the system had just opened up a temporary boon to all players. Lower level players were being allotted a similar amount of skill points to him alon

Wulfrin wasted no time charging the recovering Sand Shark. It was a field boss he had faced before not to mention it was simply a weaker version of Terra Firma. Wulfrin's strongest sword art danced across the shark carving it into nice easily digestible pieces of meat before scattering into an array of fractal motes. There was no loot window, a result Wulfrin had expected, but there were three potions resting safely in the sand, the whole reason they came. "That's that," Wulfrin said as a timer appeared beneath their health bars. "Now we gotta kill some time between now and when we get to

The minotaur never saw the strike coming. Even as Ciela openly taunted the hulking beast with a simple flower and sharp words, Wulfrin was making his way over. One. Two. Three slashes all cut across Govarron, the Western Hoya Minotaur in the blink of an eye. It was like a scene straight from the movies. Wulfrin's icy blade was out of its sheath, dancing around the minotaur, and then home again in less than a second. One dramatic pause later, and the beast shattered into a thousand tiny motes of data, leaving behind nothing but a simple pendant. Wulfrin absent mindedly held out his hand allowin

"Y'know," Wulfrin said to himself has the message appeared before him. "The last time Oscar took me out, we had a crab feast. Though pretty sure he still holds a grudge from the last raid." To: @Oscar Name the place. I never leave home without my Accuracy buff. If you're nice I'll let you have a piece bby <3 Wulfrin let out a soft chuckle as he ran his whetstone across one of the various weapons on display at his forge. Most were simple weapons designed to be grabbed and used by fresh players looking for an upgrade, but that didn't mean Wulfrin could settle for anything but the

[F21 | PP] Mined Your Own Business | <<Trouble in the Mines>>
Wulfrin replied to Acanthus's topic in Intermediate Floors
"Man now I want a burger," Wulfrin scowled as combat erupted alongside the mention of a McGuffin. Shaking off the creeping urge to eat, Wulfrin drew Icingdeath and charged the Matriarch engaged with Acanthus. With that the party was effectively split with two players to a matriarch. Watching as Acanthus opened with the familiar stun art, he opted to hit the matriarch in its defenses. With a heavy thud, Wulfrin's blade collided with the hardened scales of his foe causing its naturally armored hide to fracture revealing the fleshy bits beneath. "Now it's time to put you on ice," Wulfri -
Wulfrin made his way down to Floor 1. Today was a little different from his other trips this low. A typical trip consisted of a bit of fishing or on the extremely common occasion, guiding a newbie or two through Dorian's string of fetch quests that the game liked to call a tutorial. In his opinion, it didn't really do much beyond get them used to swinging a sword and rummaging around for rewards. The true test of an up and coming swordsman, or woman, was actual combat. Even better a string of bosses that Wulfrin had started to work through multiple times, but had never managed to complete. Tha
