  1. Yoinkity Sploinkity. Thanks Aincrad Cosco!
  2. Wulfrin charged The Lich king with holy sword shining in the moonlight. The Lich King writhed and recoiled as the celestial steel carved through its form. Wulfrin's Sword Art: Nova Ascension was the ultimate attack provided by the Blade of Zariel. The attacks were heavy and bountiful. Each strike seared the undead flesh it cam in contact with. The defenses were gone from the field boss and that only added to the potensy of Wulfrin's final assault. When blade came to rest and the combo was finished, the Lich King burst into shards of data that gently floated to the ground like fresh now before
  3. "You good?" Wulfrin called out as he watched Ciela get flung across the battlefield, her armor bursting to life with retaliation. Wulfrin's eyes drifted up to her health bar just under his. It had barely moved and as his attention turned back to his wife, Wulfrin saw her standing up with no visible sign of damage. "Yeah your fine." Wulfrin's attention turned back to the behemoth swinging a sword that would make Cloud Strife jealous. As The Lich King reeled back to take another swing at his beloved, Wulfrin closed the distance. The burst of green light from his sword art granted by The Mon
  4. And like that chunks of HP were flying of the behemoth undead's bar like it was on a kmart blue light sale. Wulfrin and Solaris moved in tandem as the duo rushed around the hulking skeleton with precision and accuracy. Blade clashed with armor, causing more breaks to form along its surface. Talons clawed at the skeletal frame underneath to little effect, but hey chip damage is still damage. They were making good progress, but they would need a heavier blow if they were going to wrap this up in any meaningful time. This boss was one of their last remaining objectives before Ciela got her first
  5. "Doubtful," Wulfrin nodded in agreeance as he led them directly to a sprawling graveyard. "After the first round if you can stick to AoE attacks, I'll keep the shatters up. This thing cant be burned and will heal by consuming the undead here if they aren't culled. You keep the waves of dudes off me and I'll smack the boss. You know, the usual plan." With a grin, Wulfrin mad the first step into the graveyard. The mousoleum at the cent burst open revealing a massive shambling undead skeleton clad in decaying heavy armor dragging a massive great sword behind it. Wulfrin wasted no time chargi
  6. Note to self. Get a pet for the house that wont try to kill us. Wulfrin's vision laser focused on the nibbling toddler dragons using Ciela as a chew toy. They had to wrap this up soon or else they would have a much larger problem to deal with. Wulfrin was careful to avoid hitting Ciela as he used precision to carefully take out each one with a single strike. Each one popped into a small pile of goodies like some sort of draconic pinatas. Wulfrin's collection of mob drops grew with each one that burst into light shards. Then Wulfrin heard the roar of a very angry dragon approaching. Exactl
  7. Of course they arrived at a wyvern nest. Why would it be anything other than deadly beasts. Wulfrin quickly drew his weapon and followed Ciela's opening of the AoE stun. It wouldn't convey its effect since Ciela had already taken care of that, but it was his highest damage mass targetting attack so that's what he went with. Several arcing strikes and each wyvern was knocked away from Ciela with ease. It took them a moment to recover, but combined Wulfrin and Ciela had taken down about half of their HP. "Look I understand you want the cute baby wyverns," Wulfrin said as he scanned the area
  8. Wulfrin was zoned in on the materials before him. He didn't notice his wife slowly start wandering off into the cave. When Wulfrin finally had enough mining, Wulfrin turned back to find her gone. "Damn it," Wulfrin huffed as he began to flick through his menus. "Now I gotta track her down as well. Best get going." Wulfrin was now in plain street clothes with his platinum sword in his hand. His left hand now was adorned with three rings as opposed to just his wedding ring. Now officially in loot mode, Wulfrin turned to travel deeper into the cave. Luckily Ciela hadn't gotten too terri
  9. Wulfrin turned his attention to the area around them. Now that he was taking a minute to examine it, having been told his romantic moment had faded, the area around them was filled with all sorts of precious metals he could use for spam crafting or repairing weapons up on floor 29. He materialized a pickaxe and started to strike the walls over and over again, chipping away at the ore veins around them. "Well since you don't want a romantic moment," Wulfrin smirked with pure gremlin energy. "I'm just going to mine. Then I'm going to craft. I call it the Minecraft technique." He let o
  10. "We're making good pace!" Wulfrin called out over the howling blizzard that continued to harry them. "We've made a sizeable dent! This is the final stretch! Keep up the momentum!" Did he need to be barking orders? Absolutely not, but this was good practice for raid call outs. When in the room with the Floor Boss, it can be hard to keep track of the area around you. Callouts helped mitigate that risk of missing timings, critical health callouts, etc. As it stood, Wulfrin was focused on at least getting Ciela and Astra used to hearing them. Without missing a beat, Wulfrin's blade erupted wi
  11. "One chopped up horror mob coming up," Wulfrin grinned as he charged The Watcher for the final time. Fire engulfed his form as he continued to unleash strike after strike upon his foe. In just a few short bursts of fire, The Watcher was left as little more than light effects circling a raging inferno. As the falmes subsided Wulfrin stood with a grin admiring his work. In his hand were two vials of some viscous grey liquid. He approached his wife and placed one of the two vials in her hand. Sure they shared an inventory now, but It still would feel wrong to just take it without at least offerin

  14. "I've mentioned it a few times," Wulfrin sighed in agreeance as he started towards the city gate. "As for the bosses, I've only faced off with one so far. That one is a giant bear named Kumatetsu. He's a complete push over, the others I know little about." Wulfrin led the two through the forest outside the Town of Beginnings, via the winding waters of his favorite fishing stream. It twisted and coiled through the forrest until the two arrived at a waterfall that served as its source. Carefully maneuvering maneuvering around the waterfall to the rock face, Wulfrin revealed a hidden cave. A
  15. The Watcher was finally starting to put up a fight, raking its claws across Ciela's form. The damage to his wife's health bar was minimal, but Wulfrin noticed a status appear next to The Watcher's name. Something had triggered on that hit, but it didn't stop Wulfrin from igniting his blade in the familiar fires of Cerberus's Blazing Bite. The Two opposing elements used the field boss as a battle ground with each consecutive strike Wulfrin made at the creature. Toxic Venom pulsed, Fire roared, Snow was falling, and Wulfrin was right in the middle of all of it. Each blow death more and more dama
  16. Wulfrin wasted no time springing into action as the lumbering popsicle known as Avalanched made its presence known. From what Wulfrin understood of the lore of Aincrad, Absolute Zero was meant to be an aged version of this very field boss. Fitting, since the first thing Wulfrin noticed was the lack of crazy frozen weather. Instinctually, Wulfrin's mind drifted to fire. You'd think fire would be this things weakness, but you'd be wrong. As Wulfrin's blade, wreathed in divine flames, collided with the mass of ice before him, the flames failed to stick. They weren't so much as melting the body of
  17. The frigid air of Floor 4 hit Wulfrin like a truck as they approached the caldera Avalanche called home. The group was making good progress, but Wulfrin knew they had to keep the pace up. Every second mattered right now. Up on Floor 29 mobs were being corrupted and changed, players were fighting for their lives, and the frontliners were overwhelmed. They were out numbered, out gunned, out maned, and out planned. A hurricane of problems had all rolled out as one giant steaming pile of shit once the Spectral Knights first appeared. That was shortly after he and Morningstar had returned from the
  18. Wulfrin continued to absolutely bully the shambling horror film reject. Flashing lights illuminated the arena around them, providing a brief respite from the dark of the cave. When the rock whizzed by his head towards the ceiling, Wulfrin had a brief moment of adrenaline surge through him as he quickly scanned the area for some unknown enemy. Turns out it was his darling wife getting a bit creative with the environment. Glancing upward Wulfrin noticed the ceiling on the verge of collapse. If he could keep the watcher from roaming too far, perhaps they could use it to their advantage. That beca
  19. “Wouldn’t be much of a date if you made it silly,” Wulfrin parried the sarcastic remarks with excellent precision. “Nothing can stand up to your treats. The only other person I get food from is Demian and his food tastes like, well nothing.” Wulfrin charged forward for another volley of attacks on their spooky scary target. Wulfrin’s eyes shifted to an icy blue on a black sclera. A devilish roar echoes as he unleashed the full force of Icingdeath’s ultimate sword art, the Ice Devil: Rage. His blade cut and carved into The Watcher’s form as the rhino horn in his inventory materialized upon

  21. The goal: Bizarre Antidotes. The Place: Floor 18. The Party? Wulfrin had no clue at all. As much as he liked running with Riardon and KnightinGale during this ongoing playtest, Wulfrin needed a change of party comp. Up until now that trio had been grinding up quests, mobs, and everything in between. Wulfrin's speed running tactics was leaving them very little space to breathe and develop. To give them such a chance, Wulfrin opted for the message boards. With no way of knowing who will show up, Wulfrin leaned up against the caravan cart whilst the NPCs did their prep for the journey. All he cou
  22. "Damn it's cold," Wulfrin said rubbing his hands together, trying his best to get warm. "Of all the places for the gate to spawn, why did it have to choose this frigid land. I'd have prefered it to appear on Floor 22." Wulfrin was not at all dressed for the occasion. Gone was the heavy armor he was usually clad in. In its place he wore a simple short sleeved red tunic and tan trousers. His brown leather boots were truing their best to keep out the cold, but he was still on the verge of hypothermia even in this virtual world where cold wasn't supposed to bother him. Regardless of how it lo
  23. There was one last major drop to get in preparation for the raid. Upon doing some digging, Wulfrin learned of a field boss known as The Lich King on Floor 14. It's drop was an item known as The Darkness Salve, a one use item that could boost his wife, Ciela's, mitigation to new heights. Since she was planning on joining the frontlines in the fast approaching raid on Floor 29's boss, Wulfrin saw no better time than the present to sneak in a brief jaunt. The clock was ticking, so they had to move fast. "No time for big buffs," Wulfrin said as he hefted the Blade of Zariel over his shoulder.
