  1. Wulfrin charged forward without a second thought as Jomei expressed his failure to retaliate. With weapon ablaze with the same sword art he had struck with previously, Wulfrin carved into Kumatetsu's hide, each blow continued to spread the sickly green veins that had engulfed the massive bear's fur. Wulfrin watched as the final pixels of the boss's health bar vanished in short order. Kumatetsu let out one final roar before scattering into a cascading array of data fragments. "Sure is a feeling for sure," Wulfrin chuckled as he returned his sword to its scabbard at his left side. "I just h
  2. "Safe is relative yes," Wulfrin commented on Bastion's own thoughts. "Though trust me, this is probably one of the safest non-safezone areas in all of Aincrad. I've brought many a group out here for the simple gathering portion of various quests, and in all those trips I've had like one stray wolf wander in. If I were a betting man, I'd probably account that to this place being so close to the Nepent infested area of the forest. It's like a buffer zone of sorts." Wulfrin cast out another line as he continued to watch his charges scavenge for materials. By his tally, Bastion was the only o
  3. Wulfrin stood just off to the side of the makeshift arena. The weight of the most recent raid sat heavy on his shoulders. For the first time in days his mind was clear of outside interference, mostly due to him disabling the Custom Skill Freyd had taught him. The shadows that whispered in his ear reminding him of his shortcomings and his near death experience at the hands of Callisto, The Tainted. If it weren't for his mentor, it very much could have been his final moments. Hell it seemed to be just that for The Whisper, but somehow his small mongoose familiar had taken the fall instead, thoug
  4. “Trust me,” Wulfrin chuckled. “This isn’t close to hell. I can take you there when you’ve got some higher numbers. As for the coat, I’m gunna need it back. It’s my back up armor in case I need speed over raw damage protection.” Wulfrin took a moment keeping himself firmly between Astra and the imposing beasts. Astra had made an interesting point though, he wasn’t exactly dressed for the occasion. In fact only a handful of hours ago he was wearing that same set of armor facing down the upgraded version of Cerberus. That fight was significantly harder than the one presented by the beast bef
  5. Battered and exhausted from his tour in Avernus, Wulfrin was making his way back to the teleport plaza of Floor 9. What he didn’t expect was to hear fighting on the other side of the gate to literal hell. The arena of Cerberus was bright with the flames of combat as the roar of Hell Hounds echoed. Cerberus stood above them directing their assault against a group of players, though not in its upgraded form. For a moment Wulfrin would watch from the shadows, that was until he identified the players in question. “Shit” Wulfrin muttered under his breath as he noticed Astra’s HP bar suddenly d

  8. So uh… I’ll probably get stomped but what’s the harm in seeing where I stand? (Signing up)
  9. Wulfrin finally made his way back to the impromptu base camp, his arrival signified by the beacon of flaming light that was his familiar. He gasped for air as he supported himself with one of the nearby buildings as Freyd, Hirru, and Baldur. Seeing some non distorted faces helped him comeback to reality just a hair, at least enough to formulate some semblance of coherent thought. "Fuck this floor guys," Wulfrin panted as he slowly made his way to regroup with the others. "Not only are the monsters her absolute freaks of unnature, but my raid buffs wore off. On top of that Kat and I got se
  10. "We will be," Wulfrin acknowledged his mentor's words of caution. "You and Persi had be in top condition as well. You'll be drawing more than just a simple land shark in the upcoming battle." Wulfrin watched as The Whisper, his mentor and found brother, disappear into the swirling sands of the desert expanse before them. His thoughts began to drift out to the battle to come. It was filled with uncertainty as he marched closer and closer to the unknown. Up until now everything Wulfrin had ventured through had been known information accessible to all. Now he stood on the edge of a frontier.
  11. Wulfrin led the charge into the den of the beastly gate guardian. Cerberus rose to meet the adventurers that disturbed its peaceful slumber. With a mighty roar, Cerberus's health bars appeared, one for each head. Simultaneously, a grand total of sixteen additional foes populated the rocky arena, each a similarly fiendish looking dog sporting only one head each. Cerberus and its hoard of Hellhounds prepared to charge as one massive army, but Wulfrin was quicker. His blade erupted with a crimson light as he danced between the various hounds, his sights focused solely on the promary target of Cer
  12. "Mini golf is way different from regular golf." Wulfrin chuckled as Ciela apologized about her inexperience. "For one, it's all putting. Arguably the most important and precise section of the game. Sure a powerful drive will get you further down the hole, but if you can't close it out with a good putt, you're basically screwed." Wulfrin moved up to what appeared to be the next teebox. He placed his ball down gently and lined up his put. He had to carefully pass it from one corridor to the next. In an odd display, he turned to face the wall at a carefully chosen angle. He reared back and s
  13. "Predates me too," Wulfrin sighed as his fellow frontliner spoke of events he was unfamiliar with. "I never would have known that NPC was connected to an event battle like that. Sorry you guys had to go through that. I don't wish these events on anyone." Wulfrin's hands vanished into the deep pockets of his armor after instinctively pulling the cowl over his head. He had found comfort in the darkness they provided. His mind began to drift back to the event that replayed over and over in his mind. Desperately he scoured the event for any semblance of an explanation. Each replay simply retu
  14. How many days had it been since the raid? Wulfrin couldn't keep track anymore. That shared near death experience still lingered in the back of his mind. In desperate attempts to keep the horrifying experience out of his thoughts, Wulfrin had turned to making trips down to floor 1 and helping players get off their feet in the dangerous world of Aincrad. There had yet to be a trip down from floor 22 that hadn't yielded someone being hounded by the mayor of Tolbana about his lost debts. Today was no different as Wulfrin spotted the unorganized mayor leaving one such player behind. Another familia
  15. "Not bad kid." The shadow spoke finally thawing and recovering. "Stance is a bit weak but you'll get there." "Astra's mine to teach you nark." Wulfrin retorted as he brough his blade to strike again. "You are here to take a hit, so stay quite and be a good punching bag." After a series of rapid flashes, Wulfrin caused his shadowy specter to shatter into fractal polygons, only for his shadow to return to its two dimensional form at his feet. It fell silent once more as Wulfrin stood next to Astra. Wulfrin returned Icingdeath to its scabbard which quickly disappeared returning to the d
  16. "Looks like we've got ourselves a crew then." Wulfrin said as he made his way to a rolling chalkboard that had been pushed to the side. "Allow me to explain today's... activity." Wulfrin flipped the blank chalkboard to reveal its crudely decorated opposite face. On it were a series of scribbles resembling a four legged shark leaping at a lone stick figure with a sword. There were as series of additional arrows drawn from three other figures on the sideline pointing at the shark following the path of a crudely drawn bird. "So despite what you may think," Wulfrin pointed with a beat up
  17. Wulfrin quickly jumped to his feet as the boars prepared for another charge. Not being able to hit them for even a sliver of damage was starting to make Wulfrin a bit mad. He desperately wished there was some way to simply tickle the mobs just enough that one strike from the newbies could kill them, alas he was kitted far too well as a DPS. Even a bare knuckle punch from him would wipe the targets off the face of the floating castle. With a sigh Wulfrin returned to dusting the Nepent spores across the battlefield. At this point it was entirely unnecessary, the hate he had generated should be f
  18. "Hey beautiful," Wulfrin chuckled as he seemingly appeared in FTK's shadow. "Remember me?" Wulfrin's blade was already alight with a sword art that raked across the Forgotten Time King's back as it stumbled back from the spear thrust to it's abdomen. Wulfrin was ready to go all out on the foe before him as Yuki kept its full undivided attention. He was more fleet of foot, so his role had basically been decided before they even entered the icy arena. The downside of FTK's particular fight was that his thing is negating debuffs and disablements, which completely shuts down 90% of what Wulfr
  19. Wulfrin winced as the fabled undead looking king struck Mina with his massive great sword. Astra needed to be careful on two fronts: Energy Usage and Drawing Hate. Morningstar switched places with Mina with blinding speed as the dust from the attack settled. Wulfrin acknowledged his guild master's order with a nod before shifting focus back to the Time King. His opening came only a few split seconds later. "Sword Skill," Wulfrin's voice slightly raspier and grittier, cut the through the air like a serrated razor. "ICE DEVIL'S RAGE!" Wulfrin's eyes shifted from their usual crimson hue
