  1. Yuki was quick to get things across, that was something Firefly was learning very quickly. She reminded herself of how terrified she was to go outside of the safe zones… Comparing herself to Yuki, the paladin’s confidence was insanely impressive. It was almost contagious. Once Yuki had introduced herself, Firefly would wave to the two strangers. “H-Hey there! I’m Firefly. I’m, uh- a bit of a weakling but-“ The Paladin would interrupt her by throwing her arm around her guild mate. “Oi oi! Senpai, you can’t say things like that! You’re learning and growing!” Yuki smiled to the others.
  2. On the Eleventh Floor of Aincrad, Firefly was spending time with her new pet Myst in the guild's hall. She had no idea that after she had acquired the familiar that she would have to train it help her in the field. The skill she was trying to unlock with Myst's help would allow her to search for more interesting locations. Although she shared the overall goal of escaping the game, Samantha's main objective was to enjoy her time with her working eyes as she could possibly get and see everything that she could see before it was back to the darkness. Hopefully, after she was out of the game, she
  3. Samantha was nervous. She had suddenly been launched into the next tier of levels and with that came the responsibility of allocating all her new skill points. With the tutelage of the much more experienced players like Morningstar and, the newest member of the trackers alliance who's name she could not pronounce if she tried, Zajcica. If she remembered correctly though, the pink haired knight had said that her name was Yuki? A Japanese name that she was probably missing mispronouncing. Now on floor five, Firefly walked quietly to the meet up spot laid out by her new guild-mate. At least
  4. It was hot and dry, much like what she had read about in books that mentioned deserts. Sand and sun beamed her relentlessly. Myst was likely regretting joining her master for this expedition in particular. Nevertheless, Firefly did her best to keep up and keep the sand out of her shoes. “I guess not every landscape can be extensive mountain ranges and sunset skies, huh?” The girl chuckled a little, trying to brighten her own mood a bit. She loved the scenery more than the damp caves she’d been in with Morningstar and the frontline group who had carried her over to tier two in just a few m
  5. The fight was a little more under control now, giving Sam a moment to breathe. She took notes about skills in her little diary per KnightinGale's instruction. "I'll look into it more then. Thank you. Maybe it's time I start planning what skills would work best... I wonder if one of them would speak to me about how I should build my skills then." Her attention turned to the tank as her company brought up their fighting style. "They're rather tough, I assume. If this boss would instantly drain our HP, based on her reaction, I'm sure she must be one of the hardest to kill people in the game.
  6. Approved. Welcome to SAO-RPG!
  7. Firefly would listen intently while she jotted down some notes in her adventures book, making a reminder to reread the player's guide that NightinGale brought up. She hadn't given it much thought considering she's only been reading the phonetic alphabet since she started to level up. "So attacking without using a sword art is a bit of a deficit to your strategy? I assume they must get stronger as you level up then." The girl would say, showing her true colors as a noob to the other. Her notetaking and discussion would be interrupted by the paladin's reckless combat, however. A small shrie
  8. Her words were being led to a bit of confusion to which Boreas quickly realize and corrected the misunderstanding. "Oh yes, right. I simply want to indulge in everything that the floor has to off. The food will always be here but there are areas waiting for discovery. Even the discoveries of others are mysteries to me." Firefly would explain, trying to get the point across that her own tourism was the main objective. On the offer to join Boreas on his quest, Firefly perked up. "You don't say? I would absolutely love the chance to see more of the floor if you would mind. I'm not the most h
  9. As Boreas discussed his displeasure of the floor, Firefly furiously scribbled away in her book. It was clear that the book was just a ring bound notebook was just her rough draft. Her handwriting was notably horrid. It looked as though she'd never written in her life. "Oh, I see." The girl took a moment to think about how she would respond to that, but eventually she would speak up. "Life is rough for everyone. People come and go, relationships burn and fizzle between friends. But as we continue with life, we meet more and more great people who continue to leave great impressions on us. It cha
  10. Firefly offered a smile to the man as he spoke pleasantly with her. He would immediately recognize her inexperience. She was really starting to notice that players with higher experience than her could spot out the newbies with ease. “You may call me Scarlet or Firefly, Boreas. Pleasure to meet you.” The girl would awkwardly bow back, not sure how to physically respond but trying not to be disrespectful. ”Oh, yes. I’m not the strongest member of the community here in Aincrad, however, I understand that many here respect the people that collect information. My guild is just that: Informati
  11. Depression and disgust. That was the note left Sam's notebook as she jotted down her thoughts about floor 18. Every floor so far had it's unique beauty linked to stories that she read growing up but the only beauty she could find amongst the murky, muddied mire was the clearly out-of-place teleportation plaza. The smell was upsetting her stomach to the point that she might just lose her lunch... Still! The woman was content on documenting her experience in SAO-RPG for the future. The landscape was so varied that emotion could be found through words in some fashion. There had to be some no
  12. Not letting her previous failure get her down, Firefly held out her witch light again. To this point, she’d never really caught anything under its glow but that would change. When she came within range of one of the materials the light coming from her item would pulsate slowly. A quick look around would show the material it found. After a quick interaction with the little weed, it would disappear into her inventory. ”There we go! Finally found one!” Firefly would tell the others. “These materials could look like a lot of different things right? Maybe I should keep a diary of flora that ma
  13. Firefly wasn’t the greatest fighter, that much was obvious. Her recklessness could have easily gotten her killed if she had taken this on alone. Her eyes trailed down to her weapon and then to her hands as the enemy faded from existence. She was shaking. Adrenaline? Fear? Excitement? Not even she could really tell you what she was feeling. Though, Ty’s voice would snap her back to reality. “Huh-?! Wha-? Oh- right.” She laughed nervously as she put her weapon back in its rightful place. “Thank you. I’m still working on my combat skills.” She would sheepishly mention, as if it wasn’t obviou
  14. Firefly ensured to protect her new friend’s eyes from the dust winds the best she could, ultimately deciding to keep the critter covered in her hooded shawl. Thankfully the little critter was small enough to sit on her shoulder without much problem. Morningstar would also comment on the harshness of the weather annoying him. “Yeah, the beauties of Aincrad are vast and not entirely wasted to this desert… but not my favorite of beauties to uncover.” She would re-solidify before following behind him. Zamek, the elderly quest giver, approached them the moment they got close. He obviously noti
  15. Firefly moved out from the rock when Knightingale ensured her it would be safe. Others were usually pretty adamant about keeping her away from the fighting, mostly because she was a fresh new player without much to keep her alive. “I-I see. Well, that pink haired woman sure is tough. Her health has hardly dropped after all those attacks.” In the cave, Firefly recalled how she basically moved with a thought. Her body took control and her sword lit up with a very bright light much like the paladin’s only with a different color. “What’s up with the shining colors on the blade? They’re pretty but
  16. Approved, enjoy the wonderful sights of Aincrad!
  17. Firefly was about to get ready to jump into the battle when Ty stopped her, asking if she had a plan. There wasn't too much thought given to a plan, mostly because between the two of them they could probably kill it rather quickly. "I- Well, I really only have raw damage. I'm only level three." She would admit. "But the boss has no tricks up its sleeves or anything. If you stun it, we should be more than fine." The newbie tried to explain. Her instincts were good, Morningstar had attested to that. Right now, her instincts told her that she didn't need to run away. The Minotaur had found t
  18. Familiar Name: Myst Familiar Breed: Chartreux(Gray Coated House Cat) Familiar Description: A small, cuddly little kitty found on Floor 1 by Firefly and Yue Hua. Acquisition Link: https://www.sao-rpg.com/topic/41121-f1pp-cute-little-kitty-cats/?do=findComment&comment=692256
  19. Firefly followed the group closely. She may have some combat experience under her belt now but she wasn't willing to take risks... well, as long as a child wasn't being threatened with death again. We'll go with unnecessary risks. So, when the arrived at the river area that was talked up by Wulfrin, Firefly took a walk along the bank of the river. There had to be some flora living alongside the water that would be useful in medicine. Had she read that in a book once? There wasn't much else to do in her free time in the real world other than read books that had been translated into braille
  20. Firefly took a couple more steps back at Zajcica's warning. She had never gotten the chance to see what a front liner is truly capable of despite knowing Wulfrin, Ciela and Morningstar. Was it really that crazy up here? Her question would be quickly answered as the fight began. Yuki tossed her enemies around like rag dolls and they did the same to her. The once-blind young adult took even more steps back when the golden aura of the paladin shone through. Assuming Knightingale joined her, Firefly would yell over the loud conflict. "Is this what highly experienced players are capable of?! I
  21. While Pollux got herself acquainted with Myst, Firefly thought more on the name. Was Myst a good name? Mist was typically an element of mystery and exploration to her so it made sense in the context of their guild. Though most her inspiration for the name lied with the feline’s coat color. Either way, Firefly would give a nod paired with a smile. ”I hope that everyone enjoys her company. I already am, that’s for sure.” She continued to give her new pet love. “Yeah, I think ‘Star and Bistro would fall in love with her.” Walking along side her guild-mate, Firefly would ponder a bit. W
