Cardinal 0 Posted September 29, 2024 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2024 <<Guild Evaluations>> All evaluation matters related to Guilds will be filed under this topic. Guild Leaders and Officials may submit evaluations for Guild Activity updates, Guild Territory expansions and Guild Quests here. Note the following regarding each Guild evaluation: For Guild Activity and Rank maintenance, Guild officials should update their posts to match the current status of their Guild upon the Evaluation Window's closing, to ensure accuracy to its current status as much as possible. For Guild Territory, there are separate forms for the initial Guild Territory application and future updates. Guild officials are advised to keep track of prior evaluation posts as they will be needed on future evaluation submissions. For Guilds with pre-existing halls prior to the Guild Rework update, upon reaching Rank 1 and past the Guild Hall's construction, your guild may redeem a free credit of one (1) Guild Token to construct a building of your choice. Please state how this is redeemed with your Guild Territory's first application before the current evaluation window expires. Please also link the prior Guild Hall's evaluation post for reference. Note that your new Guild Territory need not match the details of the pre-existing Guild Hall evaluation submitted prior. For Guild Quest submissions, please ensure that forms are kept in a spoiler tag for cleanliness. Morningstar 0 Posted December 27, 2024 #10 Share Posted December 27, 2024 THE TRACKERS ALLIANCE | 12/17/24 | GUILD QUEST EVALUATION Spoiler Guild Name: The Trackers Alliance Guild Quest Rank: 1 Guild Quest Creator: @Morningstar Guild Quest Details: Title: The Village Underhill Floor: 11 Party Limit: 6 Quest Rewards: 2,500 EXP 5,000 col x3 Tokens to Guild Treasurer Requirements: Roleplay traveling from Taft to the Mystery Location Speak to the village’s mayors Complete at least 2 tasks for the village Summary: According to local rumors, deciphering patterns on the stained glass windows of Taft’s Grand Cathedral may reveal the whereabouts of hidden locations throughout the floor. The Trackers Alliance has discovered the coordinates of one: a village beneath a hill, accessible for a brief period in the morning. The townsfolk are unusual. Further investigation is required. Outline: Taft’s Grand Cathedral led Trackers Alliance Info Brokers far beyond the Reverent Forest to a village beneath a hill. When the Cathedral’s morning bell chimes, the coordinates of the village become available to members of the guild for a short window. When the window passes, the village becomes inaccessible, vanishing as if it had never existed at all. The forest is dense and dangerous; Antmen Scouts prowl the thicket, on the lookout for unprepared passersby. Traversing the Reverent forest requires 1 post per player. After passing through the Reverent Forest, the players will arrive at a grassy hill overlooking a lively village. To their surprise, they discover humans and ant people coexisting in harmony. The village is a strange mix of architectural styles: human-crafted wood-and-stone houses stand alongside chitinous towers and glowing fungal fields. The sight of humans and ant people working together—a stark contrast to the rest of the floor—is both baffling and intriguing. Players are greeted by a group of villagers, consisting of both humans and ant people. They are wary and distrusting, but not hostile towards the newcomers. The group is taken to the village’s city hall to meet with its leaders. Players may be surprised to see that the village has two mayors, a strategy that has helped reconcile the cultural and societal differences between humans and antkind since the village’s inception. The mayors request the players’ assistance, explaining that the village is facing several challenges that they cannot solve alone. Players must complete at least two of the following tasks to help the village and earn its trust: PATROL THE PERIMITER Ants from the mountain hive have been spotted near the settlement, posing a threat to its safety. Help the village by patrolling its boundaries and driving off any hostile invaders. Defend the village from 2 waves of Antmen Scouts, with each wave including 4 mobs. RESTORE FARMLAND Much of the village’s crops were tainted with disease and tragically destroyed. Restoration efforts have already begun; however, the task is too great for the villagers to complete alone. Help the village by planting new seeds and preparing for the next harvest. Each player must spend 1 post action planting seeds in the village’s fields. ROUND UP THE RUNAWAYS The village is in disarray after three horses escaped their pens during the previous night. Frantic farmers are pleading for help to recover their wayward animals before they wander too far into the wilderness. Track down the scattered herd and coral them back to the safety of their pens. Players must roll an LD 15+ to find a horse, followed by a CD 6+ to tame it. The taming roll can be bypassed using Pheromones. Additional Entities in the Quest: NPCs: <<Mayor Francis>> An old man with a warm presence, radiating kindness and wisdom that endears him to his community. <<Mayor Fejjofui>> An eloquent ant speaker who communicates through a blend of clicks and translated words. Enemies: <<Antmen Scouts>> Ants from the mountain hive. They travel in packs and patrol for their queen. HP: 85 x (Player Count) | DMG: 20 x (Player Count) Epilogue: Before the players depart, Mayor Francis speaks solemnly. “You’ve done more than help us—you’ve shown us that we can trust people outside of the village. For that, we owe you a debt we can never truly repay.” Mayor Fejjofui steps forward, his mandibles clicking in rhythm. “Should you find yourselves in need, do not hesitate to return. The gates of our village will always be open to you.”

Raidou 1 Posted 14 hours ago #18 Share Posted 14 hours ago Guild Name: Firm Anima Guild Quest Rank: 1 Guild Quest Creator: Raidou Guild Quest Details: Spoiler Floor ?? <<Aid the Masses>> Party Limit: 6 | 20+ Posts Repeatable for standard page rewards, Col and Tokens [Once every 3 months] Quest Rewards: 2,500 EXP 5,000 Col x3 Tokens to Guild Treasurer Requirements: Collect supplies from the Guild Vault based on where they will be delivered. Travel to an existing settlement that cannot support itself [such as Charko or Aradennia] Roleplay delivering the goods to NPC's or players around the settlement you chose. Roleplay adding your delivery to the guild ledger. Summary: One of Firm Anima's ideals is to protect supply chains, and maintain order and peace. Some cardinal settlements by design cannot operate alone, and the guild believes that without direct intervention that these locations will crumble. Quests may become unavailable, or worse that settlements exports could also cease to be causing widespread destruction. It is the duty of all members to try their best to preserve what limited resources the game provides players, and is one of the guilds founding tenants. Outline: Participants are required to enter the guild vault in the Guild Hall on Floor 22, Forest of Memories. Inside they will browse the shelving of collected resources, filling up crates with what they find and closing them up for transit. After each participant has filled a crate with things they find suitable, the party will need to head to a settlement of their choosing that is in need of aid. Options include but are not limited to Floor 21, Charko (Hidden Villiage) or Floor 23, Aradennia (Sun Elf Capital). Any settlement that the party deems 'in need of aid' will suffice for this requirement and participants are encouraged to try and branch out. While carrying a crate, players will no longer regain EN and lose 10 EN per turn as they perform hard manual labor. These players are also restricted from using teleport crystals and must use standard warp gates to travel between floors due to the weight, traveling on foot through potentially dangerous territory in the process. If a player reaches 0 EN they must stop and rest by setting the crate down, recovering to full EN after 2 posts. Once the party has arrived at the settlement they have chosen, each participant must spend at least two posts meeting with either players (NPC) or Named NPC's delivering their goods to destinations of their choosing. Once all goods have been delivered, players will regain access to fast travel methods. The last thing each participant will need to do, is return to the guild and record what their delivery entails within the large red bound leather book on the mahogany meeting room table known as the 'guild ledger': a large list of all past visits and deliveries. Epilogue: Spoiler Having made your weekly deliveries, you sit exhausted on one of the many chairs in the guild hall. Other members of the guild wander by, seeking out their own deliveries or preparations. Soon those you visit will begin to recognize you, remembering your face and what you've done for them. NPC's even start to call you by name, as if you are a part of the masses you work to protect.

Raidou 1 Posted 4 hours ago #20 Share Posted 4 hours ago Guild Name: Firm Anima Guild Quest Rank: 3 Guild Quest Creator: Raidou Guild Quest Details: Spoiler Floor ?? <<Chain of Command>> Party Requirement: 4+ | Party Limit: 6 | 20+ Posts Repeatable for standard page rewards, Col and Tokens [Once every 3 months] Quest Rewards: 2,500 EXP 5,000 Col x3 Tokens to Guild Treasurer Requirements: Join a party of fellow guild members of at least 4 or more players. Party Must include at least one Division Captain. (only required for the first time clearing this quest). Learn to operate as a unified team through combat with a field boss of your choosing. Discuss some of the ways to communicate in combat without becoming distracted or giving away too much information/positioning. Roleplay out reasoning and conversations why chain of command is important (only required for the first time clearing this quest). Summary: Combat can be extremely chaotic and it is important to understand who to turn to for direction. Magnitudes more during more life threatening encounters like floor boss fights. Each member of the guild is responsible for their own actions and responding on the fly with critical thinking, but in times of confusion it could mean life or death to be stricken with inaction. Division Captains are the veterans to turn to in these times where guild members struggle to know how to respond, experienced hands who are there to offer guidance and make tough decisions quickly. In the same vein, being able to communicate quickly and concisely with your team without compromising information to the enemy can also prove invaluable. These planned excursions even if not difficult are meant to train members unity, and 'cut the chaff' in combat. Unity is one of the founding tenants of Firm Anima. “Be extremely subtle even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.” ~ Sun Tzu Outline: All party members are to join a team of at least 4 members, and the team must include at least one Division Captain if this attempt is the first one. Players are encouraged to create a well rounded team that would be suitable for participating in a raid, including at least one tank, one support and one scout. Once the players have roleplayed introductions if necessary and have joined a party, players are to parse field boss information in the main meeting hall 'war room' on papers strewn across the center mahogany table and decide on a field boss to hunt down together. After which, players are to proceed to travel to the location of the field boss and engage it. During combat with the field boss, players are to work on communicating effectively and acting together with other party members. Players are encouraged to attempt styles of 'combined attacks' during combat. During combat all discussion with your team should be brief and spoken speech should be kept to a bare minimum. Tanks are encouraged to take a lead role, with other members responding accordingly with agreement or adaptations based on circumstances. Once combat has completed, all participants are required to converse with their team and evaluate how well communication was held. Where they did well and where they can improve. If this is the first attempt, Divisional captains are required to provide pointers and analyze each participant on how well they communicate and respond to command. In addition, each participant should discuss why chain of command is relevant to prevent conflicting goals and confusion in dangerous situations. Epilogue: Spoiler After having been put through the ringer, your body aches and you could really use a bite to eat. The memory of combat will stick with you, and how quickly even the most difficult fight is made trivial with allies there to back you up. The training you've undergone has turned you into a battle hardened veteran and will continue every week until the game is cleared.
