Mirianna 1 Posted October 5 #61 Share Posted October 5 That sliver of ice trapped in her right hand extrudes bitter fog that rolls to the ground, billowing outward as Mirianna weighs her options and what it was she wanted to do. She could easily dispatch this player that had so foolishly rushed headlong past her henchmen and straight into something she clearly knew nothing about. Like a hamster jumping into a lions mouth or a child sticking its hand into a blender, and Mirianna couldn't help but find it amusing how pathetic and filled with an utter disregard for self preservation Shayla's actions were. It had wrapped all the way past irritating into comedy. A sharp outburst of laughter as Mirianna struggles to keep a straight face. "My My, aren't you adorable. Well wolf, what if I cut out your eyes and feed them to the vultures and mail your heart back to whoever you call family?" The threat was borderline gruesome, and a test more then anything. Everyone was a hotshot until reality sunk in, a badass until they had something shoved through their sternum. "I'll tell you what, you give me that key. You get nothing but you give me an excuse to not carve you into pieces and leave you strewn all over this chapel. And consider it a gift from me to you, that I don't have to chop you up and waste my time and energy." There was a tinge of false modesty in a tone of sarcasm, obviously toying with the girl. Reaching the space directly in front of Shayla, she holds out her left hand and curls her fingers inward twice. "Now be a good girl and hand it over, otherwise this is going to get ugly fast. Lamb." The sharp and brief threat a lot more obvious this time, as to punch through such a thick skull and leave nothing up for misinterpretation. @Shayla
Shayla 0 Posted October 6 #62 Share Posted October 6 Hearing the woman's threats, they was descriptive and very fascinating. Walking forward slightly to pick the paper and key up from the ground. Slowly moving the foot or so more to stand in front of the woman. Her chest was pounding fast but not for the reasons that one might think. This was the most excitement that she has had since being in the game. Even the beach was a bit boring but this was more in her ball park. Setting both the list and the key in the woman's palm. Taking one step back, Shayla's eyes were dead locked on this female's gaze. She knew that this person would do exactly what she threatened, yet she was not scared, neither of them were. "That paper lists potential treasure on different floors. Don't bother with the first three, I already looted them." She could feel the chill of the icy mist coming from the woman, Shayla would just smile. This game was not like real life, but it was as real as it was going to get. "I have a copy of this list in here" Shayla would tap a single finger to the side of her head. She would shift slightly and sit on one of the many benches that that were sprouting around the dead building. Some of them were broken or shattered to pieces. Shayla kept her eyes on the woman as she unlocked the chest on the back wall. There was something about this woman, something that she couldn't pin point. "Just curious, why do you loot like this. I mean there are other ways to get better equipment. Everything I got from the other chests were practically useless." She genuinely wanted to know. There was nothing beside the little money that was found that she could actually use.
Rosaria 0 Posted October 6 #63 Share Posted October 6 As the kid regurgitated all manner of examples and reasons toward Rosaria of why she was 'doing it wrong' like he was some sort of expert, completely unaware of her motives and the reasons why things were the way they were. When she acted drunk but clearly wasn't, some were observant enough to realize she was faking. But unlike Kodo who didn't swing the way she was pitching they would take such an action as an invitation to play along. What was pretending to be drunk and falling in someone's lap but an elegant invite to push forward and break the ice? The kid was far too young to understand the nuance of such social engineering. That didn't bother her nearly as much as his pompous attitude. He probably couldn't charm his way out of a wet paper bag. With a boiling irritation and the urge to correct the idiot, she offers a false smile and dusts off her skirt. "I'll keep that in mind, thank you." The woman offers gently with all manner of manners she can muster, the fumes be damned else she blow her cover. This kid wasn't worth that. Not when there were hundreds his age that would easily bite. A polite wave as the kid leaves, she chews on her tongue and returns to her seat. More flock around her having overheard her little social faux pas, the act working to catch the dumb or the inquisitive but lecherous alike. Silently the woman is all smiles, but in the back of her head she's really enjoying the fact that the proof was in the pudding or in this case the posse. As if rubbing his nose into it with every laugh and passing compliment from his peers. All the while she takes pleasure in seeing him drinking all by his lonesome proving he must be the most fun at parties. @Kodo
Kodo 0 Posted October 6 #64 Share Posted October 6 Taking a sip of his drink while his eyes were trailing the amount of people that were falling for her tricks. The woman was flirting, those batting eye lashes, the small brushing on the fore arm. Either they were all interested in the woman sitting before them and they were really that dumb. Maybe there was something more going on that meets the eye. Regardless, he thought that she was trying too hard to get what she wanted. What that something was is beyond him, but there was something strange about her. Taking another sip of his drink, it was none of his business. It was really strange how the mind worked. She was a beautiful woman yet he felt nothing. There was no one in this bar that gave him that. Maybe that was because everyone was flaunting around her or sitting at another table with someone else. Now that he was seeing his surroundings more clearly, it was like a mating ground for idiots. "Can I get you anything else?" the bartender asks. His eyes look up to meet him. There was a piercing on his lower lip and ear, tiny little silver hoops. Kodo would look around for a moment then look back up. "What food do you sell?" The man behind the counter would smile "As long as it's something simple, anything you want." Kodo would swallow hard, "Uh eggs over easy, toast, bacon?" The man would chuckle "Be right back" as he walked away Kodo could feel heat rising on his cheeks. That was very new, he would take a slow deep breath finding himself staring at the man while he cooked as he took another sip of his drink. After a few moments the man would come back with a plate full of food. "Saw you pass up that lovely lady over there. Is there a reason for it?" Kodo would look back to the pink haired woman that was still surrounded, their eyes meeting for a second before Kodo would turn and find the guy taking a drink of his glass. "Uh, not really, maybe" his words were all kinds of jumbled right now.
Celeste 1 Posted October 6 #65 Share Posted October 6 Clapping her hands together producing clouds of dust, the red head huffs upward to blow a strand of her bangs out of her eyes. "I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Welcome to the club." Waving her hand in front of her face to clear the smell and help save her senses. "It work don't it, or rather will. Probably." Celeste remarks with a shrug, lifting an end table over her head finding the company made this a little less obnoxious. "If you got any other ideas..." she expresses as she heaves the next piece of furniture over the wall, that slams into the grass and explodes into wooden shrapnel leaving bits and pieces in a crumpled pile. "I'm all ears, anything to get the hell out of this mess. My leather is sticking to my ass crack. Not in a good way." Meandering and digging through the building as Mari makes her final elaboration, the woman stops and looks sideways at Mari. The light comes on in a way that is plastered across her face. Snapping her finger and pointing square at Mari. "No shit.... Frankly I don't even know." Her eyes become a wash with azure blue and with a vortex of azure flame her weapon manifests in her right hand. "You uh fireproof?" Celeste asks, but figures yanno its probably fine. Most the time her flames don't burn players aka her allies. Most A singular wide sweep sees the room catch flame in an odd color flame and to her surprise Mari would appear utterly unfazed even welcome within them. "Name's Celeste. What's yours?" She remarks folding her arms and leaning against the wall as she'd wait for it all to turn to ash so she can grab a broom and dig through whatever would be left. @Mari
Mari 1 Posted October 6 #66 Share Posted October 6 (edited) The other redhead continued to hoist things over her shoulders; throwing furniture out the window, out the door... what was she looking for? How could she...not know? "Mmm.....If you don't know what you're looking for then..." Mari taped her lips, wondering if she would sound like a bitch for saying what she thought, then deciding, fuck it - she didn't care. "How the hell are you supposed to know when you find it? Are you sure whoever got you to do this isn't just trying to give you busy work?" "You uh fireproof?" "Sure am." Mari said with a snort and a laugh, and just for good measure, she threw in - "Kinda gotta be, for the relations I have." Mari expected to aid in the flames to ravage the place, a snap of thumb against forefinger ignited a small flame to dance in her palm and a flick of her wrist would have it travel up and over her shoulders, to her other palm. Slowly...Slowly Mari was learning how to control it better. She didn't have the control, nor the intensity of her partner - but it was getting better. It seemed her show was for naught - as the other woman's own flames engulfed the area. Burning a vivid and bright blue that caused Mari to clench her fists and extinguish her own flame, it wasn't needed. "Whoa..." What was the word for it? "Fuck me...." Mari muttered. reaching out to let the azure flames lick between her fingers. It was stunning. Mari welcomed the heat from the flames. Closing her eyes and inhaling deep the smell of burning smoke. It wasn't till the other spoke up again, introducing herself that Mari had to open her eyes, blinking. "Oh....Celeste." Mari offered the woman a smile. "Mari, I'm Mari." Mari gestured to the pyre around her, "This...I have to ask...how did you make it blue? Is it a mix of copper sulfate?" A few steps closer to Celeste as Mari exuberantly grabbed the other womans hands, thumbs running over Celestes palms. "A skill? An item? You gotta tell me, the colour suits. Contrasts with you so well." @Celeste Edited October 11 by Mari
Gaius 0 Posted October 11 #67 Share Posted October 11 The dragoon still rather drenched holds his hands up to the campfire, the very same threatening to give them C02 poisoning by being lit in a closed building. A tap on his arm sees a dry towel offered from Reytac to which he claims and begins to rummage it through his hair. "Reytac was it, must be one of those usernames." The man offered a handshake and plopped his ass down closer to the blaze, scanning the fire for a moment and exhaling a sigh of relief. "So, Reytac." The tone in his voice conveys one of curiosity. Not many gave two fucks to wander around on this floor, which called into question the rest of his inquiry. "What's the deal, what you doing here of all places?" Gaius struggled to search his own memories as he tried to decipher the answer to that statement on his own, but wasn't the most wise so it was just lumped in with all the other fights he'd been in. The storm outside continued to brew into a maelstrom, further encouraging the players to stay holed up. It wasn't as if umbrella were an easy thing to obtain in Aincrad, and the marshlands were now transitioning straight into what amounted to quick sand. Pegging the shift, Gaius helps himself to a bit more wooden shrapnel and tosses it into the fire to keep it lit. An epiphany has him start working through his inventory, given he was building locked there was nothing better to do but eat. A flick of his hand sees the screen pop open, and with a few taps the thing is navigated to see a couple of bundled foods apparate in a flash of blue. Holding out the sandwich curled in a white paper, he'd extend the offer to Rey. @Reytac
Lancaster 1 Posted October 11 #69 Share Posted October 11 The obnoxious tone the guy took left Lancaster's temper far more on blast then usual. It was one that was shared by others in his little troupe of wild cards that were borderline insane. "I wish she gutted you." He offered without an ounce of tact on his tone as his hand is forcibly shook, and Lancaster considers just setting the fucker on fire and being done with it. But it would do nothing more then call the hounds of Laughing Coffin even closer to his sanctuary, and until the moment arose he'd pin that thought. "You keep my wifes name out of your mouth, Vex. This is your only warning. You stay the hell away from her, you and Tybalt both." There was an itch there knowing that Mari had told him her time on floor 10 had left her a little weaker to mind games, and her history accented that as a fact. The potential for someone like Vex making a mess of things was higher then it should be. "If you want to be a good boy, keep these guards off my back. Got it....amico?" the taste of sarcasm was thick enough to cut. But for some damn reason the NPC were dense, and sporadic. Lancaster couldn't help but wonder if half the reason was because Vex was here causing them to go on high alert. Ripping his hand free, the man sparks a sphere of flame and heaves it into the nearest building. Out comes screaming NPC stumbling down rough stairs in shrill shrieks. They collapse and tumble down as the building is quickly engulfed with a snap of the mans fingers. An unsteady alliance held with one of LC's goons not even close to under his subset, Lancaster heads inside as a way to escape the loon. @Vex Vexxus
Vex Vexxus 1 Posted October 11 #70 Share Posted October 11 (edited) I laughed slapping Lancaster on the back, a little friendly pat. "Oh! you do~" I clasped my hands together, barely able to contain my glee. So he wanted her to give in to those oh so alluring primal instincts of hers? "She was so close! so- so close! But you stopped her!" I said as I clapped my hands together in tiny little plaps. "What did she say, what did she say?" I asked in mock thought. "Something about not wanting to get involved in another fingers business, hmmmm~? You Sure She shouldn't just join us? She already follows the rules~ Wouldn't that make it easier for you, no? Mi Ameekohh." He was mad, oooh he was MAD mad. I didn't think it'd be such a sore spot for him. "She said something similar too...how I should stay away from you. My My...two peas in a pod huh?" Lancaster told me to keep his sweet little flames name out of my mouth and I mimed a zip, and a lock, acting as though I were locking up my mouth and passing him the key with a wink. "I will try! But..." How could I? She was so tempting, so tantalizing, so easy to push her buttons. "The boss likes her - what she can do - perhaps, if you were here again - you could ask him yourself." "If you want to be a good boy, keep these guards off my back. Got it....amico?" I stood to attention and offered Lancaster a sharp salute! "Yessir~" Spoken in a sing song voice. I followed the man into the burning building, stamping on a guards burning body. I pulled my dagger and turned - jamming it into a guard who tried to follow. "No No~" I sang into his ear- turning and having him attack his comrades. I wasn't sure what the former finger was doing here. Frankly, I barely knew why I was here.... but hey, he asked me to help. So I would, may as well stay in good graces with him.. I whistled to myself as I worked. Following behind the man at a distance, taking care of the guards one by one as so they would not disturb him. This still counted as doing my job after all. And, I was a very, very good boy. Edited October 11 by Vex Vexxus
Tybalt 1 Posted October 11 #71 Share Posted October 11 As the girl traced the lines on his mask, the whimsy and interest she showed had a real way of jostling his jollies. Once removed "The kidney's are definitively evil, as all twins are." The man affirmed the girls beliefs with his own just as resolute and precarious. "What a wonderful day to get lost Alice. Welcome to wonderland" The man remarked with a heavy fold of his body, his arm extending far above him as he takes to a bow. His ears catch a name that has him filled with pride and accomplishment. "Vex, my sweet sweet boy, You've met my understudy." The man offered crocodile tears as he rubs the mask on his sleeve, like a mother fawning over a son moving away to college. "My boy has really come into his own, really makes a father proud." A fling of his hand sees a smattering of colored specs of rice and paper flung about in festivity. "You want....me to be your audience?" "Oh I do, I do, mon cheri. Would you? You must have appreciation for the arts, if you have met my beautiful magnum opus and are.... still standing." The darker connotation to his words spoken like a vilified threat as he presses a white glove against the bottom most corner of the mask. The mans hand reaches near her head, disappearing near her peripheral. "What's this behind your ear?" The most mundane of tricks that all children knew at least once. But as his hand returns and he unfurls it, what sits in his palm is a severed human ear. In the distance one can hear screaming that echoes across the trees, as if on queue. "Damn, what happened to that coin?" Tossing the removed appendage over his shoulder, as if disgruntled with a shrug. "Perhaps another try?" @Ceres
Ceres 0 Posted October 11 #72 Share Posted October 11 (edited) Ceres' lips turned up into a smile - doll-like eyes widening with a sparkle of delight as the man talked about how evil kidneys were. He gets it. "Some twins...eat each other in the womb." A silly fact, but one Ceres felt needed saying. "My mama said I did that, but I think I'm the good one." Ceres said to herself thoughtfully, a single finger placed on her lips as her thoughts trailed off. "I mean...I don't think I have evil thoughts... I am not sure what evil thoughts are though...maybe taking over the world? Stealing princesses? I don't do that...Oh..Sorry I taril off like that a lot. I'm Ceres." She'd offer him a curtsy, just as he had offered him a sweeping bow. "The good twin, probably." The man before her talked about Vex as though they were related, were they? Lavender eye stared up at him. They were similar...but she couldn't see this mans face. Ceres was tempted to reach out and take the mask off. "Yes...." she said quietly, hand hovering in the air, "He was at this crab boil...with uh...a purple lady, and an orange lady named Mari...and he was holding metal meat skewers and dancing..." She didn't quite understand what the man meant by still standing. Did he imply she drank? Ceres wasn't really interested in that sort of thing. Or maybe Vex was a flirtatious guy, and would have bedded her. "I'm not interested in physical stuff like that." She said, coming to the wrong conclusion. Just before her hand clasped back onto his mask a smattering of confetti was thrown in the air. Distracting Ceres. Her hands lowered and her eyes darted around watching as the coloured paper danced in the wind ."Ooooh!" A sound of amazement. "That's so pretty!" "What's this behind your ear?" A slight giggle came from Ceres as she felt his hand tickle her neck, a drop of wet landed on her shoulder and slid down her back- which evoked another laugh, and a giggle. Ceres knew this trick! he was going to hold up a chocolate - Oh... Her smile faded as she stared at the item in his hand. "But...I don't like gummies..." She mumbled in disappointment. Gummies were too chewy, and they never really tasted like anything other than sugar. The man tossed it over his shoulder, proposing that they'd try again. Ceres wasn't a magician like this man was, she wasn't all that good with sleight of hand, but - amused at his antics she wanted to join in. She fished around in her pocket and pulled out something and quickly shoved it into her mouth when he turned to the sound of someone screaming. Taking advantage of the distraction. Tap. Tap. She had to stand on tip-toes, finger tapping his shoulder. A wave of her hand in front of his masked face to ensure she had his attention then... Ceres pretended to cough it up, a single col- she held it out in her hand...covered in saliva as she then, without much thought for personal space placed it in Tybalts gloved hand. Wet, and slightly sticky. "It's right here." A tilt of her head, and rose-coloured hair, tinged in pink would spill over her shoulders - they trailed past the strange man. Focusing on something behind him. "Oh. It's the frog." Edited October 12 by Ceres
Bran 1 Posted October 12 #73 Share Posted October 12 The stilled breathing would convey that the girl was not having a good time. Alinta's heart racing had her pulse ticking through the edge of his knife like a finger to an artery. The tremor in her hands portrayed weakness and terror, proving that she was going to prove a useful hostage. A beating of a drum against his chest and the dribble that oozed out of her face, there was something disheartening about how pathetic the show was. Reaching up into her hair, he'd slide a tie from it that sees the kept do scattered in a flowing mess. In one swift motion the man passes it over her wobbling hands, pulling it tight in a matter of seconds. It creates a pair of cuffs with a lead and the guy rears her arms over her head forcing her elbows to poke straight out. Flipped through her own belt on her lower back, he turns it around and yanks using that as the final knot. From his pocket he crams a section of white cloth into her mouth. It wasn't friendly or polite but such was necessity. "Walk." Bran remarks slinking out a bit of metallic wire, shoving her down the alleyway on their immediate right. Points and gestures with that small blade of his orchestrate the girl into an abandoned building. Shoving her by the shoulders in a beaten living room, on the floor as he scrapes a chair over and takes a seat. The messy mop of her hair scattered all over, the man begins to sharpen his knife with a slab of flint. "Until the heat dies down, we are going to remain here. Scream, try to run or fight back and this will be your grave. Do you understand?" He mutters low in an abrupt threat with an expression that shows he means every word. "Nod." @Alinta
Alinta 0 Posted October 12 #74 Share Posted October 12 (edited) With a quick motion, far too practiced for the womans liking he had bound her hands behind her back. Alinta would glance at him, finally managing to mutter a small plea. "A-A-re...you...p-please don't kill m-mmmfpph...." Makeup ruined, the stunning visage melted away to that of a mewling cub. Pleas for compassion denied as he shoved a white piece of cloth in her mouth. Eyes widened then shut tight. A brief thought...she should have bit his fingers, she should have tried to run...but to where? The town guards? She was such a low level...that anything she would do...it would be completely worthless. Her shoulders slumped as she obeyed him. In situations like this obedience was rewarded, and the reward? Perhaps her life... Alinta was lead into an abandoned home, and shoved unceremoniously onto the floor. She scrambled to right herself up, shooting a glare up at her captor. Scream, try to run or fight back and this will be your grave. Do you understand?" Alinta wasn't foolish...she wouldn't do any of those things. Wide purple eyes blinked away tears...was this how her life was going to end? She did her best to wipe her face upon her bare shoulder, doing little to alleviate the sting of tears from her eyes. She glanced around the room, a faded and red coloured ornate carpet...dusty windows, boarded up. A vase of dried flowers. The smell of dust in the air..this somehow reminded her of home and yet... Another muted hiccup. She didn't want to die here. Her eyes landed on her assailant. Dark brown hair, so dark it would almost be mistaken as black, strong angled eyes and thin brows. He almost looked Japanese, but she couldn't be sure...If Alinta got out of here, she'd need to tell all of this to Oscar. surely he'd be able to do something...right? "Nod." The single word barked out as a threat, it caused the woman to straighten her back. A single deep breath as she tried and failed to calm her breathing, and as her eyes refused to leave his -drinking in each and every minute detail he had uncovered she gave him two small nods of her head. She just had to get through today... ....right? @Bran Edited Friday at 08:55 AM by Alinta
Jibae 0 Posted 5 hours ago Author #75 Share Posted 5 hours ago Round 3 {Final required round of narrative, Will drop round 2 & 3 for my paired toons once near closure to save on bloat) "There is some truth to that, it is becoming more and more common for them to be the request for me to either purchase or collect. I am not familiar with them directly but I can say that I've sold quite the number." Jibae expresses with a flick of her hair behind her right shoulder, an unkempt mess that showed a bit of a wild side behind that prim and proper appearance. Another spray of thin needles confirms yet another kill, and the fact she was making twice the pace for free had left her prospective wallet feeling rather fat. The fleshy and moist mess of scales made pincushion sat limp upon the thicker mud, inviting her to slice off the dollar signs on its body before it turned to dust. The thin gilded needle slices through simply without any difficulty, and was due to how often Jibae had sharpened them. The woman hit this thing so often with a whetstone they could physically cut hairs in twain. It really was the easiest way to notice just how obsessive she could be, and adherent to perfection she was as well. Taking an earnest tally of what remained between Sam's kills and her own, it was more then enough to reach the requested quota. Collecting them from her inventory, they are placed into a segregated pouch and then offered to her apron. The little gold rod in between her fingers is woven into her hair allowing the bun to be reformed. A pat of her hand against it to confirm its tension and ability to rebound, that respectable and professional appearance returns. "I best be off, good luck with your music. Or singing." The adrift dismissal with a fold of her waist, one a little haste in her step. Jibae wasn't interested in making friends or making this take any longer then it had to be. Time was money, and hers had just run out. @Sam
Sam 0 Posted 5 hours ago #76 Share Posted 5 hours ago Watching the woman carve through the flesh like butter. It looked like she truly knew what she was doing. Sam would hand the woman what she had as she counted the total. The woman would give a small confirmation before placing the rest in her pouch. The woman says a few words and heads off "Uh yea see ya" Sam says as she quips Bhafel back on her sling. "Well that was sorta eventful" looking around for a moment before glancing to her map. To the North, straight a head there was a town. South, there was a body of water. It was probably that fishing hole that Raidou had drought down in his notes that where sitting on the guild hall table. To the East there was some thick marsh lands. Some say that the trees were so thick there that it was easy to lose track of where you were. It has also been said that if you go there during nightfall you can hear the forest howling like it was talking to you. To the west are rocky terrain, cave entrances everywhere. No one knew where it ended or truly began. One day she would explore these places in depth. It might be one of the exploration mission where she isn't seen for a few days. It was unknown if skills or even the HUD worked in there properly. It really would be quite the adventure one day. For now she would travel back home. There was a few things to do still before the day would end. Beside it was starting to rain and she really didn't like the rain all that much. That and her instrument could very well get damaged from soaking it up and she couldn't have that. Heading to the town in the distance, she would stop to grab some fruits from a stand and the head home.
Kasumi 0 Posted 5 hours ago #77 Share Posted 5 hours ago "Yeah uh, maybe?" Kasumi expresses toward the blonde finding a stereotype being proven correct although she'd never admit to thinking it. Not really but sure, I bet Freya is standing out in the middle of nowhere in a swamp waiting for you.... The concept had her head spinning, and she really began to question just how the girl had made it this far, unless the mobs could sense the 'oh, honey' and felt pity. "A plaza is the spots in the middle of towns where the warp gates and fountains are. Like the primary spot of the floor in the middle of the main town." The only thing missing from the statement is the duh. Eventually the training wheels had to come off, but Kasumi expected there to be a lot of growing pains. She contemplated messaging Freya and just figuring out who this girl was, but the last time she'd been near that blonde they ended up eating cake in a hot spring. Were all girls this weird? "If you tried to set up a shop anywhere without the system, you'd end up getting nowhere and having a real hard time actually making anything good." Kasumi tried to explain to the girl that she'd likely get hassled by creatures and stuff if she even made the attempt. Lanna was a long way from Earning a Living. Wasn't Setsuna a tailor? Maybe that could work, just phone Setsuna and have her show up and actually get her through the process right. "Kasumi." The inquiry had her snap back to reality struggling to untangle her own mind spagetti and deduce just what to do with this dumb blonde. "My name is Kasumi. Let's get you back to the plaza." Grabbing the girl by her shoulders, she starts to shove Lanna quickly toward the destination hoping to get out of this faster then later. @Lanna
Lanna 0 Posted 4 hours ago #78 Share Posted 4 hours ago The girl might of had a point. She would feel hands on her shoulders, she knew what this was. Lanna was being rushed. Freya did the same thing last time she saw her. Lanna didn't really say anything after that, she couldn't help who she was. The woman did give a name though, by just happenstance maybe. The moment they arrived at what Kasumi explained as the plaza, the girl had already yeeted the fuck out. Lanna would turn the thank her but she was already gone, she really didn't blame her. She knew what the teleportation pad was, it was house she got to other floors. Stepping onto the pad she would head back to floor one where she knew the area around her. It was a bad idea to travel to a new floor, she actual had gotten lost when she found Kasumi. Lanna decides to sit on the fountain, take a notebook out and start to write down everything that she does know about this game (which is not much). The list of six things were: Quote Didn't have to eat Didn't have to sleep Didn't need to use the restroom People didn't like her She had no idea what she was doing Her other best friend died trying to save her life Staring at the piece of paper, it was things that would seem obvious to most. She didn't like that thought. She always tried to be so positive and nice but really it came out as just a dumb blond like Freya had told her more than once. She was not smart, school was never her thing and whenever she wanted something sh would pay someone to do or get it for her. People cared about money here but there was nothing like credit cards or parents that she now figured out supported what she did with everything they could. Did they think that she was stupid too For the first time Lanna smile turns upside down as a tear drips down her face. She honestly didn't know what to do and even if she did know she had no idea where to start to get there.
Nisahime 0 Posted 4 hours ago #79 Share Posted 4 hours ago "For a big strong man, you sure don't accept responsibility very well." Nisahime goads closing the gap and getting within an inch of his face, slipping underneath his guard and getting suggestively close. Her statement is followed by a haymaker that slams into the side of his jaw, proving just how much more experienced she was by comparison to the kid at this. Nisahime's arm wraps around his throat and drives his skull into her knee, not an ounce of care as the data rips from the cut wound. "Let me correct those words for you, its time you figured it out. Repeat after me, Lium. 'I almost killed Sam because I cannot control my temper. Because I'm a selfish prick'." She notices the souring of his expression. It was exactly what she was aiming for piss him off so much that it finally clicks that he was the problem not everyone else, and with the rising temper she exploits it with the flat of her right foot. Sweeping with her right leg low shortly after her left slams into his shoulder sending Lium into a destructive cartwheel. "Admit it, or maybe I'll just have to break every bone in your body." Matched with a smile that would prove she meant it. Her stance squares up and slides back to neutral, and she wouldn't look even the slightest worst for wear. Kicking Lium's ass for a good 10 minutes and she hadn't even broken a sweat. All the while she wore a rather joyous emotion plastered across her face. Clearly she was enjoying this, and Lium's scruffy and ragged appearance proved that she still was leagues beyond what a single one of them could hope to contest. "I am pretty sure I could beat three of you blind folded." The snark laid on thick, Sam was right. Lium had an anger problem, and Nisa was going to push him far past his breaking point then break him. @Lium
Lium 1 Posted 4 hours ago #80 Share Posted 4 hours ago Slamming against the tree, breathing was heavy and his chest felt like it had a hundred pounds of whoop ass on it. Placing a hand on the trunk, sweating up a storm. Taking off his soaked shirt and tossing it to the ground. Rushing at the woman, who the hell was she to tell him. Throwing a first her way, moves very quickly out of the way. Grabbing his wrist, twisting it back and up. Feeling his should crack as she folds his wrist up toward his neck which Lium can feel snap as well. Right then Nisa will shove him to the ground and pull her hands back up waiting. Lium will slowly start to get back up, feeling his hair from the back of his head being grabbed and slammed hard against her knee. Coughing violently head laying on boulder near his hut. Blooded data drips down his chin as she get back up slow. Slightly hearing what the woman was saying. Something about Sam and kill, his blood was still boiling. In the back of his head we could hear his name being called and yet, he went rushing toward Nisahime again. This time when he swung a punch, she knocked his arm out of the way and smashed the bottom half of her palm into his throat. When he leans slightly to gasp for air she takes her other hand that was in a fist right to his stomach. This causes his body to jolt forward as another knee smashes his face. -Admit it- -Say it- -Take responsibility- Seeing Sam on the ground with his hands wrapped around her throat. Hearing his name being called out again but this time it was Sam's lips that were moving beneath him. -Admit it- -Say it- -You almost killed her- -Who?- A grin against his lips as he watched Sam's face turn blue, right then a final yell of his name comes through before he lets go and falls back. -Admit it- -Say it out loud- -You almost killed who?- "Sam" -Why- Laying on the ground, chest felt as if it weight tons and other emotions came flooding through that brick wall that he was hold up. He felt paralyzed. -Admit it- -Say it out loud- -You almost killed who and why- "Sammy, for my own personal desire" Nisa walks over to him, grabs him by the neck and pins him against the wooden building "LOUDER" her voice echos against the empty forest around them. 'I ALMOST KILLED SAMANTHA ROSE CAUSE I'M A SELFISH PRICK" he spat out in anger before his breath became uneven and his eyes began to tear up. It was then that Nisahime released him. "I can't control my..." tears start to fall down his cheeks as he falls to the ground upon release. "My anger is to much, I can't" knees against his chest, head in is hands. "I need help" he would finally admit after all this time. He tried himself but got absolutely no where. He couldn't do this anymore, not like this. Wondering now if Sam would ever forgive him "Please help me" knowing after this hour long battle that he couldn't heart this woman. Sam was right to send him to her. "Please" now pleading not looking directly at her as he could stop crying realizing the gravity of his actions that might cost him the best person he had ever known. "I want to change" is the last thing he would say.
