Stepping into the ring, a resolute expression drawn across her face. A broad sword falls down to her right side, and a flicker of maroon has her make a rapid swing. The gap closes in ruthless efficiency, and mid swing the weapon is released as her hand opens. It flies out of the arena, grinding along the stone street. The sword art halts skipping over her stasis, and without pause another weapon is produced without hesitation, turning quickly into a rapier that is jabbed forward. It isn't but a single moment the attack connects that her grasp flings open, another jump and twist of her inventory screens almost blindingly fast. The last a halberd as she drops low and spins against Gob Gob's knee. None of it seems to work, leaving Hanma to pick up all her toys. This was not on the regular agenda and there was no other task as of right now. This was something that he would do for himself and his little girl. Pulling the cloth over his mouth, leaning low as twin tanto twist between both sets of fingers. lunging forward at the man made dummy, as little bits of something fly off in every direction. Sliding back as he would stand straight up with a blank look painted over his face. Pulling the cloth down as he sheaths those weapons and looks toward the bigger thing in the room. With a nod toward the dude he would walk out of the room. His HUD would chime, giving a sigh as he would open to read. His other hand has that light fill up and coat the bottom of half. Suddenly after a sharp exhale, his legs move and the palm leads the assault discharging a blast of cold. A cry of a crow upon impact, as the shape of the beast in question is fired through Gob Gob like a ghost. The other fist fires away like a loaded gun, and a scream of lightning as a tigers maw rips from his knuckles topped with a roar to follow it. She had to meet back up with John, the bar was going to be opening soon and there was still some prep that needed to be done. Making haste out the building, her lover was waiting outside. A deft jump into a curl, she spirals in a ball into the ring and flings open for the landing. Gracefully she waves as her arms flare open to stable her. "Sup?" HUSH chirps to the goblin king, who probably recognized her from yesterday's try. Her hands spin and in the palm of her hands in a silverish purple flash her hand scythe appear. They bloom with faint light, and with a twist one flies in a spiraling toss. Like a spinning razor it grinds, as HUSH bounds into the air and drags the other straight down in a one to punch. The faint outline on Gob Gob is expunged, whatever effect her first attack had applied being consumed by the second. However no matter her assault, the boss's bar never once appears no matter how high the potency of her attacks. Inside was a dummy that needed to be smacked, “Please, I need your help Barghest” saying in a very small voice as she glows purple for only a split second before her frame comes back into vision that looks like a humanoid wolf. Holding out her hand in front of her as a ball of purple swirling lights would form and hover just above her palm. In that same moment her hand would spring outwards toward the dummy figure granting a small vibration and a flash of like. When you look back at the woman she had normalized. Raising a brow as she turned and walked out hoping that that was enough. Expressing his irritation vocally and physically, bringing Haze to further appreciate Gob Gob's ability to get under the general's skin. Plucking the cigarette from her mouth, she tosses into the road at her side before stomping it with her boot. A hefty lunge, she squares up and dances between her feet rubbing her nose with her right thumb. Those fists of her become filled with sapphire colored light, and she closes in and begins to lay down the heat. Blow after blow send surges of static down the fibers in her arms. Each blow more explosive then the last, with every haymaker rattling the stage like an earthquake. Her focused fist assault and her durability keep her swinging one punch after the other, threatening to snap her wrists on every swing. He was starting to get the gist that there was zero way to take this thing down. Ripping the saber out of his sleeve, it grows with a flick down like a baton. A spin of the cylinder at its cross guard, he counts the charges and sets it to use one in particular. Helping himself into the ring patiently, without too much in the way of boasts or anger. "I'll give this a try." Doyle comments holding that weird looking weapon to his side. It ramps in a pale blue, and with a release of his lock it skips him into Gob Gob. A discharge of lightning as a bang like the fire of a firearm becomes audible, before another click sees it jammed in for a second time. Another burst but this of frost. *click* *boom* *click* The energies seem to cycle on each swing, peppering Gob Gob with all flavors of damage. Occasionally the king that looked like a goblin, would enter the ring and duke it out with a willing player. Wulfrin found this intriguing and after watching a handful of attempts, Wulfrin decided he would have a go at the goblin himself. Wulfrin carefully read over the rules of entry and felt his stomach sink a bit. His focus on external damage was basically all a waste for this one. With a sigh he swapped to his platinum longsword and slid into the ring. Wulfrin took up his stance and prepared to charge Gob Gob who simply stood there unleashing a series of poses and taunts. Wulfrin's blade rrupted into flames as the blade arched through the air, Gob Gob seemed uneffected by the attack for the most part, which made Wulfrin raise an eyebrow. Not many things could take a hit from him, coming out of it seemingly unphased was even more of a rarity. Satisfied with his attempt Wulfrin exited the ring to allow others to take the stage. She really didn’t find a whole lot of point to it but she could see her leveling bar slightly increase at the end of each day randomly. She could only think that it was from doing this activity. She was not sure of the point but there was a little reward that popped daily. It wasn’t much but it was still useful in some regard. Heels tapping on the wooden floor as she walks down the hall and in through another set of doors. The dummy was still sitting there and it looked untouched. Pulling out her rapier as the sword art would activate and spring her forward stabbing the thing right in the chest. Its hands unfurl from being concealed in the sleeves of that coverage. The opaque shapes of hands, presumably covered in some sort of gloves, its right hand raises to align its shoulder with Gob Gob. A tense of its fingers causes a wave of colorless energy to discharge from its palm. The ropes and the stage shake with that stroke of thunder, with its palm as the nexus. Gob Gob is riddled with that solitary wave, and the players near its proximity would have their ears ring with the discharge. Without any presumed effect, the ticker moves forward with the ding of a bell. In but a single bat of an eye, ERROR seems to disappear as if they had never existed within it at all. All that is left is the wonder of what it was or could be. Pushing the door inward as the dummy is reflected on the other side of the room directly opposite from her. With a smile and a deep breath she would grab her broken chain in both hands that is dangling from her choker. With force she would yank hard on the chain causing it to break off that choker. Chain in hands she breaks them apart in even parts and flicks them in front of her causing them to grow in length as they now dangle on the floor with a clanking sound. Pulling them swiftly up and backwards so that each set of chains slash her back. One was now hot metal with a hint of flames and the other was a deep red with a liquid dripping to the ground. Springing forward and she whips both in unison toward the dummy. Straightening her body now, she would let the chains go and they would both vanish but the chain that was hanging from her choker would reappear on her neck. Turning around she would walk out with little to say. As she would walk out, anyone watching would see gash marks across her back that were glowing lightly. The blonde hair on her head swaying past her shoulder as she turns to take her space in line. Waiting for others to go in the ring, take their turn and the bell telling them that their attempt was through. After a few minutes, her time to take her shot slowly comes up. Using the small staircase on one of the corners, she climbs inside and winds back her arm. The glow of soft yellow on the edge of that dagger, all this practice with her sword arts was starting to do some good. No more playing 20 questions or struggling to get her posture right. The girl still had a lot to learn, but at least she could get the stances and the skills to charge when she wanted. Revealing the blue hair that was strange yet natural, despite what most might be lead to believe. From her sleeve, her hand tucks into the right and draws her katana out of it like it were a normal sheathe. As its drawn, forks of blue lightning leap from its edge as if foretelling its nature. The annealed blade that predated most weapons in its age, and had served Ruri over all of her time in Aincrad reforged into something far more powerful that had grown with her. With a twist her body becomes still, where in actuality the bouncing sword art line that ripped around like a bouncing bullet was her. An extremely volatile velocity that dumped a voltaic payload into the target in what amounted to but a single beat of heart. The ropes do a fair job of halting her slide, still struggling with the brakes. This was going to keep happening, he just knew it. Fishing out his needles with a swift flick toward the thing. He would twist and wrap it around as he would guide the needle rapidly though it. When he felt that it was secure enough he would pull causing tension on the line. He could feel a small vibration through his wire, with three separate pulses he could feel the line snap with way too much friction latched on. The needles would vanish “Damn” is all he says before turning and walking out. It pissed him off but he knew that there was nothing more that he could do. Also knowing that yelling at the thing was not going to change anything so instead he would go do something that was worth his time and something that he could control. Lynn 0 Posted 2 hours ago #80 Share Posted 2 hours ago With the abrasive asshole from the last couple days taking his leave, Lynn slightly kicked herself for showing up around the same time every morning to give this another go. Gob Gob still looked just as fresh as day one, meaning that he had handled multiple days of attacks without even the slightest change. Dude really was something else. Lynn had already met quite a number of cool people as a result of showing up to this little gathering, so popping back up and performing a bit was a no brainer. Climbing up the same way she had every time, she takes her place opposite the goblin king. Her left arm raises, and clutching the handle of Solei she rips it loose to allow her shield to power up. The light between the two matched the morning sun, and within moments she closed in and began to let it rip. The blinding flashes of her impacts had a way of robbing the vision of those derpy enough to look directly at them. Even Lynn was seeing stars.
