[PP-PT-F08] Grin and Bear It | <<SotW: Kumatetsu>>
Astra replied to Astra's topic in Beginner Floors
"Keep the pressure on!" Got it. Kumatetsu began to become more erratic with its movements as Astra and his master chipped away it's health. The beast swiped it's claws in a frenzy, throwing it's massive body at almost any position the two found themselves in. Astra leapt out of the way of its attacks, waiting for the perfect opening to strike again. Kumatetsu's fury was palpable as it narrowly missed the combatants. Eventually it would have to tire itself out or make a miscalculated attack, leaving itself exposed once more. Turning it's attention back to Astra, Kumatetsu barreled fo -

<<Trouble Brewing>> Visionary was back on that grind again. They kinda had to be. A Guild didn’t build itself. And for Oscar’s part, he always found himself surprised at how much effort it took to just build things up. He almost felt bad, calling everyone out to fight these bosses and do these Quest. It was the ass-crack of dawn, after all. By way of apology, he assembled refreshments. Food and coffee to get the blood pumping. He was unaccustomed to feeding so many people, too. Even the most basic steps took a fair amount of prep work. Eventually, they’d reach critical ma

“Did not want such things…” She mumbled to herself, trying to wipe the slime off her body, memories of the mimic and how it felt still clear in her mind. Disgusting… She hadn’t expected a creature to spawn in the confines of the safe zone. Again, the mans words ran out in her ears, Complacent. Right…The rules of the game could realistically change any time. Arsine knew that, it's why she was so indulgent. She had attempted to message a number of people, consorts for the evening to aid her - but when they found out she had an orange cursor - they had all told her they were not interested t

Bael crouched just beyond the tree line, eyes fixed on the field where Arsine had paused. The orange cursor above her head pulsed faintly, signaling her presence even amidst the grime and debris clinging to her avatar. He watched as she slammed her fists against the dirt, cursing softly in her native tongue, and then finally drew a long, measured breath. Composure returned, but not the unguarded chaos he had seen earlier. A smirk tugged at his lips. The woman moved differently than the other players, her focus never wavered, her movements deliberate even in frustration. Something about th

The plains had grown quiet again. The system light dimmed toward evening, the sky painted in hues of fading gold. Bael stood among the tall grass, his hand resting lazily against the haft of his greataxe. The whispers in the distance had thinned, those who watched him either fled or grew too cautious to move. The so-called heroes who had once gathered here were gone, leaving behind only the hush of the digital wind. He could still feel them, though. The unseen eyes watching from behind trees, from the ridges far beyond sight. The Beast of the Plains, they called him now, every whispered r

Post Action: Return Letter to Dorian When you return and hand the stinking letter over to Mayor Dorian, he eyes it dubiously before opening it. "Well, yes," he stammers, "I suppose that's a fair trade. Truth be told, I don't quite remember how much we loaned him, anyway." Delicately, with two fingers, Dorian sets the parchment aside. "Uh, alright, that's all, then. Thank you for your help. If you ever need anything in this town, do not hesitate to drop my name. I'm sure that's far more valuable than any monetary reward I could offer you, anyway." Arsine trudged through the cit
