Going to check the SP system.
It sound great! the only downside is that someone can potentially choose if he used it or not after he know the dice results..- Show previous comments 8 more

If Im reading this correctly, all misses mean 2 energy loss regardless what sword art you choose. Plus if you rolled, you got to do something with that roll at the risk of looking like a cheater if you don't.

You are right, it does't give a huge advantage.....But yea, the Idea is to do normal attacks on miss and use an art when you hit.

That's what the system is ...
Even though you use a sword art and miss, you still only lose 2 energy, not the full cost of sword art.
