Yeah, that would work xP They would only be doing two damage in that case, and swords arts would make it way faster.

Sadly rank 1 sword arts for the one handed curved sword suck. They don't give you any advantages in a 1v1 fight. Rank 2 is where it starts to get interesting.

But yeah, I might suffer through that quest soon, so thank you for the advice. I also have a question. Its just about shields. How do they work in combat, and are their any negatives to having one?

Shields only matter if you have the skill block, and it lets you have even more mitigation ontop of your armor mitigation. :D Oh, and the negative is that with a shield you cannot have more than zero evasion :P

Uhh, with the skill block and a shield, I dunno about just the shield. And also using a shield means you cannot use the (MA) sword arts.
