Yup! Basically, Gemini only works off your stats, not your equipment. So if you just use a, for example, +3 spear and you have no spear skill, the gemini is only going to hit 1s and you are going to be hitting 4s.

That said don't wear armor if you have an armor skill. That just defeats the point.

Hmmm. What if I have a perfect sword, but I have a single skill level in that? Does that not work? (I don't want to have to buy another perfect weapon if I don't have to)
