Going to school for video games design, is a dream many people aspire for. For Oikawa, designing video games was his end goal. Like most gamers , Oikawa was addicted to a certain play-style, always wanting to stay one step ahead of his opponent and always looking to achieve victory as soon as possible. This lead him to living his life in the same manner. Graduating top of his class in high school, Oikawa got a jump on learning computer programming, and began learning to render 3D game art. It was this diligence in wanting to always be ahead that paved his way into gaming. Hearing about the preorder signup for SAO from an inside source, Oikawa hastily signed up. Now he could have a first hand account on something he's been striving for all his life. This game will be the gateway to his end goal...who's to say he can't be the best along the way.
