SAO Achievements! (long post)
So I've been trying to think of an achievement system for SAO, and I've talked a little bit about it with other staff. I know several players have said it's something they'd like to see... but I'd love more ideas! What kind of achievements would you like to see? How would you like them handled? Badges in your journal? Titles? Some with non-combat rewards of some kind?-
Some kind of reward would be cool. But just titles is pretty nice as well. Some suggestions:
Dungeoneering.
Complete dungeons on each floor. Rise in rank for every X unique floor. Some ranks it increase dungeon bonus. More col/material. mbe even SP
Adventurer.
Complete quests. Rise in rank for every X unique quest completed. Can give some bonus to gather materials in noncombat.
Proffessionachivements.

Hmm... I had been trying to figure out how to do the dungoneering one, but I think you've given me the piece I was needing...
Also, I would want to avoid giving rewards like bonus col/sp/materials/roll bonuses, as that would take away the purpose of it being an achievement reward, and turn it into a mechanical requirement.
However, I do have some ideas.
