  1. Why on earth did people add a rule about event SP and posts some of us are posting as often as we can with as many characters as we can?

      Azide put it perfectly. Also, the 3:1 ratio isn't a set in stone rate, and if the SP gains are too low at the end of the event, I will likely retroactively drop it to 2:1 on top of already giving participation SP.

      So yaaaay, everybody keeps getting those numbers they so desperately want!

      You don't have any map fragments needed for finding the boss, as you haven't entered the labyrinth yet. Map fragments are gained when you successfully scout the labyrinth, not when you scout /for/ the labyrinth.

  10. Updated Whistle for the Choir, borrowing a few more characters for this section. A little rough and not nearly as flow-y as I'd prefer, but still working on ironing out my handling of group-centered pieces. Just wanted to get this section off of my plate.

      Exactly. It's the spontaneous reactions and back-and-forth that keep me coming back to it. But the sheer amount of filler is what holds me back too. I imagine I'd cut something like 90% of posts I write during revisions because it ends up being irrelevant.

      It does get very stale, and relevancy is unavoidable with the addition of levels and mechanics. It's a shame that roleplaying doesn't tend to be conducive to coherent storytelling.

  25. So, I am sure I am not the first to bring this up, but why hasn't throwing needles been implemented yet? it is clearly shown in the anime that SAO has that as the soul ranged weapon. I feel like it would make sense if it was at least a very weak type of attack that could allow for less agro from mobs for the ranged attacker if there is another person in the Party fighting up close.
