Yup.. she definitely had jinxed herself, thinking she was lucky of her score so far. A quick search around the safer areas gave her nothing. Maybe she just needed a break, a quick sit down to rest her legs and then back in the game. Who knows, maybe with the shorter respawn time, the materials she had already plucked would be ripe and ready again. Taking a walk over to the empty, dried up fountain, the brunette took a seat on the curved, stone wall. She gazed into the interior of the fountain, the stone surface slightly cracked, moss and weeds growing through sporadically at various parts. Placing her palm down on the interior, she felt nearly no trace of water being present. How long had this mansion been abandoned? She wondered if there was ever a family living here, or if this spot had always been derelict since Aincrad's beginning. Probably just world building, she deduced.

She continued to pick material after material until the small little treasure trove had been expended. "Perfect." she said to herself as she stood upright, checking her inventory for the totals she had collected so far. Ten, that wasn't a bad number to start with. By the end of the day, she hoped to double that. Eh, she rather not jinx herself.. this would end up being an utterly boring walk through an empty courtyard if she ended up finding nothing for the rest of the day. Stepping away from the tall grass, Jevi decided to continue wandering the courtyard, steering clear of any potential dangers. Most of the monsters in this area stuck to areas closed to the mansion, or just outside of the surrounding fence. A few monsters seemed to lurk in the tall grass, but their presence was mostly made obvious by a large appendage or constantly shifting grass. Yeah.. without a weapon, it would definitely be best for Jevi to steer clear of them.

"Yes!" She exclaimed as she grabbed a material in each hand. "At this rate, I'll have enough to make some new gear in no time." Awkwardly shifting one of the materials into the crook of her arm, Jevi swiped a hand upwards to summon her inventory, and relinquished both of the items to the digital storage box. "Ah." She sighed in relief, brushing the dirt off of her hands. Her eyes wandered back to the location where she had found the previous two materials and, lo and behold, something else sat idly there as well. Dropping to a crouch, Jevi parted the grass with her hands. She had found the jackpot, even more materials than she had thought. Her golden eyes practically glowing due to her find. One at a time, she began to shovel the small items into her storage box, a genuinely happy smile on her face.

Okay, back on track. Bringing her hands up to her face, Jevi gave her cheeks a few good smacks to snap her out of the funk she had put herself in. It was time to start working on herself, to start working on battling that crippling depression of hers. Yeah her past was shitty, yeah theres a good reason she's always sad, but just letting her emotions take over would just get her killed. And despite as bad as it would get for her, she truly did not want that. For once, she actually wanted change. First step to that was.. to find more materials. Diving back into the search, Jevi went to patrolling the edge of the tall grass, pushing aside the green blades with her foot, just checking to see if anything caught her eye. And soon enough, something did! But not just one thing, two things! Another two materials just sitting in the grass, ripe for the picking.

"I was never really much of a movie watcher, or TV at all for that matter. So my knowledge of any of those references are pretty dull. The outfit just made you look like the mobster type. But I like it, can't lie. Not everyday you see someone walking around in a full suit, rather than armed to the teeth in metal plates." There was an old player whom she thought she had run into at some point who also always wore a suit.. a tux to be exact. The name escaped her, but he was an asshole anyway. Thinking back to the prior topic at hand, the brunette shrugged her shoulders, they really had been in quite the similar situation. "But hey, we've all been through some shit. At least you're out and about, so it seems. My mind usually ends up shutting down and I lock myself in my dungeon of a shop for days at a time." Realizing that her statement was, well, a bit of a downer, she shook her head and tried to laugh it off. "Now here I go being the downer."
If Jevi was killing the mood with talk of her depressive episodes, Oscar's presentation of two, foiled sandwiches that smelled orgasmic, for lack of a better term, definitely cleared the air of that nonsense. Before Oscar even described what awaited them within the shiny metal packaging, Jevi felt herself salivating. Even then, Jevi could recognize the smell of the American delicacy that was a cheese steak. "Ohh my God" her voice almost a purr, "I can't tell you the last time I had a good Philly cheesesteak. We absolutely cannot let those wait."
Taking a quick look around from where they stood, the brunette noticed a path leading off from the main road, down a sort hill to a bench that sat overlooking the water. "Why don't we sit down and eat those first."
-
Bouncing the material off of her bicep, Jevi caught the item again and then placed it into her inventory with its counterpart. "This really isn't that bad... would be a lot easier if I had someone with me.. God I need friends... and here I am talking to myself, more than I've ever talked to myself before." Fuck, she was lonely as hell... even if she didn't want to admit it. Opal was dead, Ruby was dead, everyone in the Holy Dragon Alliance pretty much separated after that creepy mansion episode. She missed Spencer, that was for sure. And honestly, even though it had been so long.. she missed Grave. He was always there when she didn't want him, and when she needed him. A heavy sigh escaped her lips, her golden eyes looking at the ground solemnly. Eventually, Jevi filled her lungs with a deep breath through her nostrils. Pressing her palms into her face, she would run her hands over the top of her head and through her hair. "Alright, Alex, enough feeling sorry for yourself."

Alas, Jevi was a bit too worried about what lurked beneath the green sea she waded through and found no materials. Pushing through the grass once more, the woman found solace on the ground where she could actually see her feet. Of course, that did not mean that she was completely safe from those within the grass. A rustle from a few feet into the grass startled Jevi, and she quickly turned around. "Shit shit shit..." she said to herself under her breath, taking a couple of steps backwards. Another rustle, closer.. and another.. until finally, whatever lurked beyond her sight was about to emerge. Jevi quickly threw up her fists and clenched her eyes shut, ready for the early grave that would be bestowed upon her.
Once she realized she was still living and breathing, she managed to open one of her eyes. Before her was simply a squirrel.. one of its cheeks distended by something in its mouth, and in its arms.. a material? "...Gimme that!" Jevi shouted, trying to frighten the animal. With a squeak, it spat out the second material that was in its mouth, dropped the first, and ran back into the tall grass. "Hehe, sucker."

"Hell yeah, off to a good start." Jevi said with a smile on her face. It wasn't usual that she would find two materials in the same spot, so it seemed that miner wasn't kidding that this place was a prime spot for gathering. After slipping the items into her inventory, Jevi continued her search. There was a lot of overgrowth in certain parts of the courtyard, more so in the areas less traveled it seemed. The path leading to the front door, around a central - now dried up - fountain, and some benches seemed to hold little to no grass at all. Where Jevi decided to sift through, however, was about knee high. "I swear to God if something jumps out at me.." she growled, an empty threat to the tall green grass at her feet. Of course, this was a terrible place to search for materials. If she really wanted to check the grass, she would need to cut it with her sword... oh wait, she couldn't bring her's. Bastard Cardinal...

A short walk outside of the settlement of Taft brought Jevi to her destination. The abandoned mansion was not as bad as she had first made it out in her mind. The building was a bit run down, but it didn't look haunted like the one her old guild had gotten trapped in. However, the mansion itself was not Jevi's destination, but the overgrown courtyard before it. The placement of the old abode being right against the mountain side made it perfect to be able to find the proper crafting materials she would need. Stretching her arms out to the side, and then alternating across her chest, Jevi strut forward, "Time to get to work."
Right off the bat, while scanning the farthest fence closest to the mountain side, Jevi had found large pieces of stone. Pushing through the rubble, she was able to find two materials perfect for some new weapons.

So.. if she was level.. what, 26 now? That meant she could use gear up to the second tier. Second tier meant materials of that tier, which could be found on Floor Eleven. Easy enough.. now she just needed to find that location. Going into her inventory, the woman went to don her heavy armor and sword... only to find that, of course, she could not. "Oh fucking..." she sighed heavily. "Fine.. I'll just avoid any monsters I guess." Taking the weapon and armor out of her inventory, she tossed the items across the floor of her forge, before putting on her gray, qipao-style blouse and a pair of black pants.
Stomping out the front door to her shop, Jevi made her way into the town of Fortaleza and warped up to the eleventh floor of Aincrad.
Her visage materialized in the center of the European-styled settlement of Taft. "Guess I should start asking around for this hunting ground." she said to herself, placing her hands on her hips and looking around for any NPCs that could prove useful. After asking around a bit, a group of farmers just outside of the city's gates sent her in the right direction; an old, abandoned mansion to the Southwest of Taft. Immediately, Jevi felt a chill down her spine.. and she considered dropping the ordeal. However, the farmer reassured her that, aside from some of the wandering monsters, the mansion was shut off from the public, and is mostly peaceful.
So yeah, that sounded like a pretty good place to start. Jevi only hoped other players may be present to keep the wandering mobs off of her back.

It was time to dig herself out of her hole of self pity.
It was time to grow up and be a bit girl, and stop being such a depressed loner all of the time.
It was time to get back into the swing of things.
Jevi had realized her armor and weapon were incredible outdated.. almost to the point where they were simply unusable. She was high enough of a level where she could use some better gear.. but she would need to get her hands on such gear first. There were no other blacksmiths that she was really aware of, and even if she did, her funds were rather low. One thing at a time.
At least, if she had the materials, she could attempt to make better armor and a better sword herself. Maybe that was a good start, finding a place to get her hands on some higher quality materials so she could get back into crafting again. Ah.. but she sucked at gathering.. she had the attention span of a goldfish when it came to searching for materials.
Lucky enough for her, a kind miner enjoying an afternoon beer at a bar in Fortaleza told Jevi of a few places on the 1st, 11th, and 21st Floors where crafting materials were more prominently found. Maybe her luck was turning around after all.

Nimbus was a complete and utter shit show. Any semblance of light from the sky above had been blackened out by storm clouds as dark as the inky rain that fell from them. The black ooze pelted the roofs of cottages, dripping off of the shingles like slimy icicles, stretching to their limit before breaking and joining the slowly growing pool on the ground. Bodies were scattering in any and every direction, NPCs piling into houses and shutting the doors and shutters behind them, not allowing any players entry due to being 'over crowded'.. just damn selfish was more like it.
Remembering that the ooze somehow found a way to climb up her body as it rained down on her, Jevi kept her feet moving. The doors to various abodes and shops slammed shut as she rushed past, a missed opportunity to find easy shelter. Through the roar of the storm, she heard the sound of loud creaking, which turned to cracks and crashes as a poorly built NPC home collapsed under the pressure of the rain. Jevi's golden eyes went wide with shock, but now she was the one feeling selfish as she continued to push on to the center of town.
There, just before her, the stone platform with four tall obelisks on each corner, like a shining beacon of safety. Just stepping onto the platform that housed the teleport gate was sanctuary enough just getting her already soaked feet out of the sludge. "Warp, Fortaleza!" She shouted... Nothing. Frantically, her eyes scanned the scene before her. Still Nimbus. "Warp Floor Five! Floor Six! Fuck just get me out of here!" Not even a spark of the arcane energy that sent players between floors. They were trapped here, left on their own to survive. All around her, players and NPCs began to become consumed by the dark ink. Many kept moving to avoid possible death, as she was doing. There were some players, however, who put their lives on the line to help others, standing in place for a long while to assist a fallen NPC or fellow player. Jevi had noticed a group of men helping out at a fallen house doing just that. Two of them held each other in an embrace, the black ooze slowly building up their body. Jevi quickly rushed in to help, assisting in freeing the white haired man from the black ooze, hoping someone else could help his companion currently in the dark drink. "Alright lovebirds, nows not the time for mushy gushy if you don't want to die.. or whatever the hell this is."

Just as quirky in person, thats good that he's not afraid to have a sense of humor outside of a message. Jevi thought to herself, her hands sliding into the pockets of her leather jacket. A chuckle escaped through her parted, smirking lips as she freed a hand to move a lonely strand of hair from in front of her face. "Sorry, didn't really make a hitman connection when I first saw you.. Usually not a thought I want to have when showing up to a blind date." she said with a shifted brow, one raised higher than the other.
"Likewise." she responded with a nod, "I'm usually not one for dates.. especially ones set up with a complete stranger. Honestly.. I don't entirely remember signing up for this.. I was probably half asleep after a days work just trying to get food and mainly wanted to get the NPC who organized it to shut the hell up." she coupled her assumption with a laugh, implying a lightheartedness to the situation. "But in all honesty, I needed this. An excuse to get out of the dark and actually enjoy myself."
For the first time since meeting just a few moments ago, the two shared a few long seconds of silence. There was a strange awkwardness in the air, a tension that Jevi could not grasp the meaning to. She could see it in Oscar's face, just a few twinges of emotion as he seemed to process some thoughts in that head of his. Finally, he revealed the bit that had been troubling him, and she could not blame him. The brunette's lips pursed, slowly nodded in understanding as Oscar explained how he was, technically, a taken man. Despite not being completely on game for this date idea, a minuscule portion of Jevi's heart wanted to see where this would go. Hell, she had been hung on Grave for the longest time, and tried to find that love in Ruby but failed there as well.
Laying heavy on the drama, Jevi clasped her hands against her chest, and slightly upturned her head towards the sky, "I can't believe you'd break my heart like that, after all we've been through." And... scene. Dropping the act, Jevi crossed her arms at her chest and smiled a toothy grin, "No worries, I can completely understand. My ex boyfriend just up and left one day without a word. Haven't heard from him since. No break up text or anything. So I know the feeling. And like I said, I could use the company. Now come on, Don Corelone, we've got a date to go on. So, should we start with lunch? Or should we save that for when we get to the arena?"
@Oscar -
Finally, another voice cut through the roar of the pounding rain. Despite the weather growing worse by the minute, Jevi felt a wave of relief crash over her. Picking up her pace a bit more, she trudged through the mud and sludge until she met with the source of the voice. The younger looking, blonde haired player stood outside of the city, responding to Jevi's voice to guide her back to Nimbus. "Thank you. I thought I was done for." she spoke loudly, as to be heard over the whipping wind.
Taking a quick look down at her feet, she noticed that the black ooze that had been raining from the sky was now climbing up her shins, nearing her knees. "The hell?!" Jevi cursed out, taking a step back and kicking her legs as to remove the sludge. "This shit is getting weirder and weirder.." she said as she pushed farther into to city. As she suspected, this was not just an issue outside of Nimbus' walls. The city was in utter chaos, players and NPCs rushing for shelter, some assisting others where they needed help. "I need to get out of here.." Jevi said to herself, realizing the blonde player had rushed off moments after Jevi had stepped foot into the city. Her first thought was to try and rush to the center of town, hopefully this storm wasn't present on another floor.

Feeling satisfied with the outfit she had put on, Jevi looked into the small mirror that hung over the sink. Her fingers combed through her hair a couple of times, catching any of the stray hairs that flopped over the partially shaved part of her head. Yellow eyes then locked with her own reflection, and the woman took in a deep breath. Her nostrils burned from the distinct smell of coal dust and molten iron. Bringing a hand up to the side of her face, she prodded the mirror, as if giving a peer a pep talk. "Don't be a bitch." she simply said to herself, "Try to have a good time." Jevi constantly battled depression, and that, paired with her troubled past, built a hefty brick wall around her already thick skin. After Grave, and her friends in her old guild, she began to tore that wall down.. for a little while at least. The abandonment she felt just replaced those old bricks, and that wall stood tall again. Today, however, maybe she would try to step around it and not let it get in the way.
By the time she left her shop, she had noticed another response from Oscar. He had a few things to take care of before heading up to their destination, so it seemed she had a little bit of time and did not have to rush. Jevi never owned a pet growing up, so she wasn't exactly sure how long it would take to feed a dog. With that in mind, she kept a slightly slower pace walking back into Fortaleza. Nonetheless, she eventually arrived at the settlement, and stepping atop the teleportation platform, she spoke her destination and was off to the 24th floor.
Her eyes took a minute to adjust to the new location; the white light from teleporting, as well as the shining afternoon sunlight of this floor blinded her for but just a moment. When she finally came to, however, she was greeted with a unique sight. A vast sea of clear blue stretched out as far as the eye could see, islands of various sizes speckled the ocean with long bridges connecting many of them. A spark of childish wonder washed over her for a moment as she stepped off the platform, slowly stepping in a circle to gauge the beauty of this floor. Snapping back to reality, she took a quick look around to see if Oscar had arrived... not like she knew what he would look like anyway. One man, in particular, stood out from the rest. Many of the players around wore armor, a few dressed in more casual attire, but not many wore pinstriped suits. He stood alone, as if waiting for someone. Dressed to impress, standing alone, who else could it have been. Stepping up to where the man waited, the brunette cracked a smirk, "Well, now I feel under dressed." she started with a joke, "Oscar, I presume?"
@Oscar -
Wearing heavy armor made it difficult to run at full speed, and with the extra weight of her footfalls, her boots continuously sunk into the quickly forming mud. Jevi brought an arm up to try and shield her eyes from the pelting ink storm, but it was to no avail. The thick rain poured down on her, soaking her hair and soft parts of her outfit. With a snarl, Jevi continued to push forward, sloshing through the muck and water.
Despite how far she ran, it just seemed Nimbus was nowhere to be found. Little did she know just how far out from the settlement she still was. "Is anyone out there?! Hello?!" She called out hopelessly, wondering if she was the only player this far outside of the city's walls. The roar of the constantly pouring rain made it difficult to hear, in the off chance that someone had heard her and was calling back. The only thing she could do was to keep going, and keep hoping she could find Nimbus, or at least another to help her find safety.

The forge did not have much in terms of a shower, since it was not exactly a 'home.' Though, it was the only place Jevi could call home nowadays. She never even tried to save up for a player home and going into town to rent a room in the local inn was just as costly, at least over a long period of time. Her craft could earn her money, if there weren't already so many other blacksmiths in Aincrad willing to do much better work at a faster pace. At the end of the day, however, it was fine, for Jevi was not a materialistic person, and could easily live off of the bare minimum she had in her little smithy. So filling up a basin full of water and taking a clean rag, Jevi began to wipe off the soot and sweat from her person.
Luckily, she did not need to worry about stench in this world, but her conscious would not let her go more than a few days without at least cleaning herself off. She let out a heavy sigh as she looked into her silhouetted reflection in the water, the ripples slowly calming so she could get a better look at herself. Maybe one day she would be able to live a better, happier life, instead of sleeping in a bedroll in the corner of a hot, cramped shop. Her visage was broken as she lowered her cupped hands into the cool liquid, bringing up as much as she could to splash onto her face. As she she stood up straight, and ran her damp fingers through her hair, she received another notification. A response from Oscar, nonetheless.
Continuing to comb her moistened hand through the strands of brunette hair, she opened the message and read over the brief contents. She found herself smirking at his language in the message, at least it seemed like he had some what of a sense of humor. That could hopefully make this less dreadful, maybe even enjoyable. And an arena on Floor 24? That had been the first she had heard of it. She quickly fingered a response.

ive never been to that floor before, so ill wait for you at the teleport plaza so i dont get lost.
ill meet you there soon.

It had been awhile since she had been out, so she figured wearing something a bit more comfortable and casual for the night would suffice. Unless they were the ones fighting the monsters, of course. She'd cross that bridge when they got there. Taking a quick look through her extra outfits, she decided to wear a pair of black, denim pants with boots, a light grey shirt and a leather jacket.

The sun began to crest over the rolling dunes of sand, painting a dark shadow where the artificial light no longer reached. The blue sky gave way to a darker hue, coupled with shades of purples and oranges. The blistering heat of the desert faded, a chilled air taking its place. A light breeze passed over the sand, like a gentle wave carrying small particles of sand with it. The brunette sat on the ground just outside of her small, domed shop. A woven blanket of blue and white sat on her shoulders shielding his bare arms from the bite of the cold. Jevi was never a fan of the cold, always preferred the heat. Though, spending most of the day in her blazing forge proved to be a bit much to her, so retreating to the outdoors once the sun began to set was just enough to keep her from over heating.
Yellow eyes gazed forward towards the setting sun, looking to a shaded dune as to not look into the bright light for too long. A lot plagued her mind recently, especially loneliness. With her guild now disbanded, she honestly had no idea who to turn to. All of her friends were either dead or off doing their own thing. With a heavy sigh, her knees pulled towards her chest, and her forehead hung, gently resting atop her knees. She ignored the chime of a notification for just a moment longer, before picking her head up to see. Opening her menu to view the finer details, she saw it was not a message from a friend, but an automated message... the title <Date Night.> "Ah shit.. I forgot I signed up for that.." she said to herself after sucking her teeth. With a few flicks of her finger, she read through the brief message and saw that she was paired with someone named Oscar. "Hm.." she hummed, for she had no idea who that was. Maybe it was for the better that it was someone she had never met before, but at the same time, getting to know someone new was always a bitch.

The brunette clamped her eyes shut as the inky, black rain poured down her forehead into her eyes. There was no pain, but the thickness caused a mighty discomfort that made it difficult to keep her eyes open, if only for a second. She slowed her run down the side of the mountain to quickly wipe as much of the substance from her eyes as she could, leaving a smear on her face as if thick eyeliner had smudged and run.
The rain continued to pour harder and harder, cutting off her visibility almost entirely. "Fuck this." she cursed to herself under her breath before letting her body drop onto the inclined, rocky surface. Her plated armor and the slickness from the rain helped her slide down the mountainside. Sparks leapt from the impact of her metal pauldrons and the surface, helping her to see just before her a bit more.
The woman finally hit the leveled ground with a hard impact, probably costing her a few points of her health. That was no matter, however, as she needed to keep moving. She had no idea what the point of this storm was, and it didn't seem life threatening so far... but being out of the safe zone on her own with no visibility just spelled trouble for her. Hopefully she would be able to get to the center of Nimbus and warp out of there, or at least find a place to lay low until this passed.

Jevi pushed her brown hair back from in front of her face, letting out a heavy sigh as she did so. "Alright, lets do this." she said through a huff, before grabbing her tools and getting to work. Placing material after material on her workbench, she banged the raw metals into various pieces.. some coming out as something useful, others just becoming wasted pieces of junk. Even then, nothing she could pass as a perfect craft. "Shit.. no one ever buys stuff unless its Perfect quality." Placing the completed objects on the wall for sale, in case anyone really wanted it at some point, she went back to work.

Despite the coming of fall and the cooler air, the heat of the fifth floor seemed unchanging and just as brutal. Outside of the main settlement, just beyond the safety of the area effect sat the small looking, rounded dome of a smithery. Like an iceberg, smaller on the surface, hid the large workshop that nearly tripled in size from the small abode above. The roaring forge made the dry, desert heat outdoors seem mundane.
Jevi sat crosslegged on the floor, only wearing a pair of pants that stopped mid way down her calves and a strapless tube top that covered her chest. She would never be caught dead wearing something as revealing outdoors, but as she worked in this hell of a forge, it was what she needed to do to avoid dying of heat exhaustion. She did not mind the heat, in all honesty, made her feel alive..definitely despised the cold.Sitting on the floor, using a sharp dagger that she had crafted, Jevi finished cutting her hair - an undercut on the sides and back, leaving just hair on the top of her head. It wasn't a perfect job, but she liked it. "Alright, time to get to work." She said as she stood, running her hand through her hair to remove any of the extra strands that lingered. Grabbing from her pile of ore and materials, Jevi grabbed her mallet and began to craft.

Being a highly mountainous region, various ores and materials that could be used for smithing were prevalent. Not far outside of Nimbus, maybe a five to ten minute walk from the main settlement, the brunette found herself scrounging through the loose rocks on the side of the mountain for anything she could use. She grunted in disappointment, holding two simple rocks in her hands which she had mistaken for iron before tossing them over her shoulder. "Dammit.. am I really not going to find anything here?"
Just then, her eyes caught a slight twinkle a couple of feet away as she shifted her position. "Bingo." she said with a smirk, cautiously stepping over the fallen debris to where she found her quarry. What looked like some sort of ore, some of it partially loosened from erosion or a previous landslide, assisted in allowing her to collect the materials without actually having to pick away at the rock. That didn't mean that her prize was not tough to remove, however. Using her curved sword, Jevi shoved the tip as much as she could behind the rock and fought to pry it out. She strained and strained, feeling barely any budge.
Plip..plip.. rain began to gently fall from the sky as dark clouds tumbled over the mountain tops above her. At first, the woman paid no mind to it, and she continued to try and loosen the ore as much as she could. However, as the droplets of rain began to trickle down her forehead, she felt the need to wipe the beads off. It was then she noticed that this was no normal rain, but some sort of dark, shadowy substance. "W-What?" Her eyes trailed up the mountain to see clouds darker than she had expected, raining black ink down. Looking around, the cloud coverage seemed to stretch across the entirety of the Seventh Floor, expanding farther and farther. The rain also began to pick up, falling harder and harder.
"Shit.. I've gotta get out of here." She said to herself as she began to panic, fumbling over the debris and running immediately towards the town of Nimbus. Jevi was foolish to think she could outrun the storm, as her vision of the settlement became more and more of a blur, and darkness began to envelop her.

Jevi the pressure of a yawn work its way up from her chest until she could not hold it in anymore. Placing a hand over her mouth, the woman let out her yawn. Gathering materials was a lot more boring than she had remembered... but the payoff was going to be excellent. After wiping a small tear that had formed from the corner of her eyes, Jevi took another look around the courtyard, her eyes locking in a large boulder that seemed to have fallen from the mountainside. Reminiscing on the ungodly amount of time it took for her to complete that punch-a-boulder quest, the woman took a short walk over to where the rock sat. Hell, not having a weapon or armor equipped made her feel as if she was taking that quest all over again. Fuck that, she thought to herself with a scoff, never again will she help someone with that daunting task.
