  1. Rosa flashed a feral smile at Raidou, wagging a finger in front of her face. "You trust me, sure, but you haven't earned mine just yet." she said dryly, her eyes glowing much brighter, denoting the activation of her tracking skill. "And while violet is pretty excitable, she is usually a good judge of character. She wouldn't have invited you here otherwise, to where her close friends reside. But, thats why Glenn and I are here. Oh, and I drugged violet myself. Just a few drops of sleeping toxin and she went out like a light. I certainly hope you didn't expect me to serve some sort of tainted me
  2. there was a slight patter of feet as violet walked over, carrying her meal with both hands. For once, she had removed the cloak and high-necked longsleeved shirt that she usually wore, instead wearing a casual long-sleeved T-shirt, and high-waisted jeans. her hair had been brushed partially over her face, hiding her right eye from view. Thin, pale red scars peeked out from underneath her hair, mixing with darker, patchier marks that colaesced underneath her hair, and centering from her right eye. Similar scars streched out from underneath her shirt, crossing over her neck, and over part of her
  3. Violet calmly brushed a hand against the kids face, pulling her mask aside with her free hand. Her face was filled with sadness at the situation. the Broker NPC looked like a mere child, in the early years of being a teenager. The sheer terror on their face made her genuinely wonder how Aincrad was able to mimick human emotions to such a degree, that she was actually questioning whether or not the character was really just a living person instead of an AI created solely by the system to resemble a real person. She could honestly see how that kind of confusion happened often here, and it hurt t
  4. Violet growled in frustration at Freyd as he feigned being hurt by her words. "Oh ha, ha. I know you did it on purpose now, smartass." she growled, her eye glowing brightly under her mask. "And the Cardinal decides whether or not we end up getting ganked by a random mob coming out of left field and beating the shit out of us, so I'm pretty sure that its more than good ol Hephaestus in this world." She cracked her knuckles, a sigh escaping her throat. She blinked in confusion as he pointed out something, or someone that was somewhat further up along the road. Violet felt a chill suddenly s
  5. Violet folded her arms across her chest, a bemused look on her face. "Those 'Gods' don't have anything on us while we're in here, the only god of this place is the Cardinal." she replied dryly, shaking her head. "And I'd rather roll the dice for the most part, and pray I don't get mowed down trying to live my life the way I want, y'know?" She patted her shoulder, and Whistled loudly. A few moments later, Akame fluttered over, landing on her Arm, before scampering up and curling around her neck, Chirping in delight as she snuggled against her master. "Good girl, Akame." she said softly, strokin
  6. Violet looked baffled when he asked why she didn't wear armor. Specifically why Jon didn't want her wearing armor. "I'm gonna go ahead and stop you there, Freyd." she said shaking her head vehemently, holding up a hand as she did so. "Two things. One, Jon would be having a shit fit if he found out I was on floor 22 without any sort of Armor. He worries about me enough as it is. Two, The no-armor wearing BS is because, usually, I don't head outside of safe zones. At all. Unless I'm tracking a Ragout rabbit or some other Rare Mob. Then I throw on a set that boosts my offensive stats, and pray I
  7. Rosa took note of the guy outside with violet, frowning slightly as he was being talked to by one of the patrons. She snapped out a quick message, telling them to bug off of the guest, not wanting someone to scare the guy off. He was rather unassuming just by first glance, too. Mousy brown hair, and sharp golden eyes under a simple pair of glasses. Other than his eyes, he was really quite plain looking. She shrugged, before picking up a rather massive pot of stew in her arms, before nodding at the door for Glenn to follow her out. The other man was carrying several large trays of various foods
  8. Violet was still lost as they wandered through the settlement of coral, not even noticing really where Freyd was leading her at this point. Nine levels. Nine. Whole. Levels. More EXP than she earned in a week was earned in the span of a few minutes. Something that she had failed to do in so long was actually upon her, and she was completely unprepared for it. Her weapon had signified the change in her stats, the metal glowing even hotter in her hands, the deep red glow of the gem in its pommel growing ever stronger. It was as though the Cardinal was telling her to actually get off her ass, and
  9. "Pretty old honestly. The CA was around way back when the KOB was still a Major guild." She said softly, tilting her head in thought. "We weren't as active as most guilds, but there were a bunch of our members that decided to take to the Frontlines and become Clearers. Jon, Shield, and Beat are the only three that still do that, and Jon told me he wasn't participating in this raid after that fiasco involving his team. The other three that were Frontline quality, Itzal, Sey, and Hikoru, all fell off face of Aincrad, and I haven't spoken with or seen them in ages. I'm not even entirely sure they
  10. "Yup! Shield and I belonged to a guild known as the Celestial Ascendants." Violet replied, a sad smile on her face. "Those were nice times... Simpler, nicer. But they just had to get thrown out the window because of that stupid war." Violet was still angry over the horrible war that had torn apart her former guild, many of their members either vanishing entirely, joining different guilds, or turning up on that damned monument. It practically ate her up inside when she saw just how many names from her old guild were on there. "It was rough for all of us... there was alot of people that died fro
  11. Violet grinned when she saw Freyd's expression change to a grin, a snort of laughter escaping his throat at her comment over his facial expression. "Ayy, I made you laugh!" she cheered, a shit-eating grin on her face. "Don't sweat it, you aren't the first person I've met that has that kind of face. My old guildmate, Shield, immediately comes to mind when I think about it... Except I don't think even he looked that stern!" She straightened up a bit, before moving properly so that she could face him without having to lean over. She almost immediately adopted a deadpan look on her face when
  12. Violet grabbed Raidou by the back of his shirt as he made to walk off, book in hand. "Uh, uh. You're coming with me, I've gotta introduce you to Rosa, and she's in the back cooking right now." she said dryly, shaking her head at the younger man. "'Sides, I know Glenn doesn't bite, nor do any of the other members of the Deck... unless you act like that idiot from earlier that was fucking with one of their enforcers. Theen there's a small chance you're gonna get told to leave by one of the aforementioned deck members." Glenn nodded curtly, a frown on his face. "We don't play around when it
  13. Violet sighed when she saw the scene that one of the patrons had been causing, causing Fengor to smack them over the head with a tankard. A hush suddenly fell over the room when a person in a Jester costume walked over, talking to the pair in a hushed voice. The pair seemed to come to an agreement rather quickly, and the player that was now soaked in alcohol booked it out the door, a scowl on their face. The jester bowed to the table, before skipping away, prompting the room to go back to its dull roar. Violet calmly shoved the animal carcass in her inventory, sending it straight to Rosa, who
  14. Violet smiled faintly when she saw Raidou arrive at Rikers Edge. "Hey! Hope you had a safe journey here, this place isn't the safest area in Aincrad, y'know." She said brightly, waving at the young man. "Good to see you again!" She ended up having to choke back laughter when she saw him hold up a slab of meat, some sort of beef from the looks of it. At his comment that he'd felt the need to bring something with him, she held up her hands, shaking her head. "You didn't have to do that Raidou, I help keep this place stocked with food and stuff. Rosa will probably find a way to use it, regardless
  15. <<Note: This thread begins on Floor 22 due to narrative purposes>> Violet blinked in confusion as the other two players that had been with her and Freyd vanished into thin air. As if there was just a gust of wind carrying the pair away. It was a strange thing to witness, that was for sure. Though certainly not the wierdest thing she'd ever seen. She glanced over at Freyd, frowning slightly. It was only the two of them now, and she still wasn't sure what his intentions were. He seemed relatively friendly, if a bit stiff personality-wise. Her familiar curled around her neck, eye
  16. <<Riker's edge, Floor 19>> on the very edge of <<Mikiakus>> lies a tavern, kept by a small guild that treated each other like family. The building was well cared for, and unlike most of the settlement, it wasn't run down or broken apart, instead appearing like it belonged in a completely different part of Aincrad. That bar, was Rikers edge. Players visited on occasion, often to deliver information in exchange for a home-cooked meal made by its keepers. The guild that ran it was known simply as the Arbiters Hand, a guild that solely consisted of about 30 members. Th
  17. Violet stumbled slightly as she was shoved rather gently by Jon, who seemed to be in a rather teasing mood, eliciting even more laughter from Rosa. "Haha! Lover-boy actually has some spunk!". A pout crossed her face as she spun around to face him, stomping her foot daintily on the ground. "You're being mean!" she whined, before turning around to face Rosa. "You keep teasing me and Jon and I'll start selling all the rare cooking ingredients to one of your competitors you arse!" Rosa actually looked offended by that, her jaw falling open in shock. "Oi, oi! Not that I can't do that myself, but yo
  18. Violet let out a choked cry when she saw that Freyd had actually decided to mimic her appearance, giving her a wink as he did so. She couldn't even find it in her to be upset about it. He was doing a damn good job of mimicking her fighting style despite her only really making two proper attacks in front of him. She folded her arms across her chest, frowning slightly. The trio in front of her was far too synchronized to be just a normal group of friends. They must have been frequent combat buddies, just by judging their fluidity in combat alone. Each of them seemed to cover all the bases that w
  19. Violet felt a wave of fear hit her when two more figures suddenly shot out of nowhere, each of them attacking the entity that resembled Mari. what the hell was going on anymore?! This was not how she envisioned her afternoon going, not at all near that image in her head. She was Supposed to have gone and picked up some ingredients for Rosa, gone and hunted down a pair of Rabbits for her (Something she was sure she needed to do later, if she made it through this in any way.), and go fishing to nab an ulafish. She didn't expect to get thrown at the forest of memories, somewhere she avoided like
  20. Violet blinked when she heard him call it a gemini, something that had surprised her. Gemini usually only manifested on floor 6, and near the Village of Krycim. It was absolutely baffling as to how it had appeared in the area they were in, until she remembered what floor they were sitting on. "No wonder it respawned. Heesh, you weren't kidding when you said past mistakes haunt you here!" She muttered, putting her hand on her rapier. The only thing her earlier stunt had done was piss off whatever the hell that was in front of her. Freyd yanked her backwards as a spear nearly cleaved her i
  21. Violet shrugged when the guy commented on her apparent lack of armor. "Well for starters, I wasn't planning on leaving the settlement today." She said, shaking her head. "I don't like this floor, it gives me the creeps. And the only reason I haven't bothered with armor yet is because I'm saving for a piece that I'm only a couple thousand col short of being able to buy. Quality over speed, Y'know?" She ruffled her familiar's feathers, smiling as the tiny dragon chirped at her. "Don't sweat it, kiddo." She said dryly as he started to apologize for knocking into her in his haste to go after
  22. (Out of combat Regen, + 2 EN, Full energy Regen 1/2 posts away (Relaxed)) Violet stomped her foot, a frustrated look on her face. "I think you're missing the fact that YOU ran into me!" she huffed, her anger softening a bit. He did just stop those bears after all. "Its a good thing neither of us actually landed IN the bears, or that coulda been ugly. Please keep an eye on where you're going, whether you're chasing somebody or not. I'd hate the idea of you doing that to a newbie on accident." She clipped her rapier back to her waist, folding her arms across her chest, her expression shifti
  23. Violet let out a shriek as one of the bears started to throw shit at them... specifically a rather massive tree. They both decided that the poor guy that was with her was going to be their target, and both immediately started to try and claw him to pieces, only for the both of them to get bowled over by a burst of a sword art. Violet grimaced slightly as she realized that throwing a stone at the Bears might not have been the best call, since it had only served to piss them off even more than they had already been before. "Well this is just lovely, why the hell did I even come to this floo
  24. Violet giggled at Raidou's reaction to her so much as even mentioning food of any kind. 'Haha, at least the guy has priorities!' she thought, before gently pulling him to his feet. when he made the remark regarding how strange some of his friends were, she snorted. "Hey, weird friends are better than no friends, y'know! Besides, the weird ones are the best ones~" She replied dryly, her grin widening slightly. "Anyhow, the place has all kinds of food. Rosa is no slacker by any means when it comes to whipping up a fantastic meal, even with the limited materials she's gotta work with. So far the
