What is Consentration and Survival?

Consentration recovers energy over time on a CD roll of 10, the amount being 1xrank number I believe.
Survival makes environment effects useless against you, and makes it so that instead of regenerating 3 health per non combat turn, you regenerate 6..... Say, since our heath has increased a huge amount shouldn't the recovery amount increase as well? Otherwise it would take forever....
