    Goblin Spearmen 1-4: 39/515

Whatever Mack had done, those Goblin Spearmen were none to happy about his axe. With their long thin weapons poised to strike, Mack was darted four times by their barbaric weapons. Anemone bit down on her lip watching his health plummet once again. She calmed herself down and put her hands up as the golden green aura started to emit in between her hands. Slowly shuffling her feet through the thick mud, she cast the glowing light towards Mack where he was not nearly as perfectly restored but he was healed enough to be out of the harm of danger for a few rounds. When his health had once more gone to the green, she sighed and whipped the sweat from her brow which was a mix of dirt and mud. Chewie, of all things, cared little for the battle of people and goblins. His stout belly full from all that he had devoured and he once more looked to Anemone and made the same gesture as last time.

"You are so difficult to deal with sometimes, I knew you were gonna get a tummy ache." The woman rolled her sleeves up. She was already a dirty mess and she didn't care one way or another for the moment, but she shifted her arms and heaved that rolly-polly mass of muscle and fur over her shoulder, the small girl's leg buckled and she gave out a small grunt of exhaustion, "I hope you are happy!" she said patting the back on his back as she held him in place, sticky mud and fur all over her uniform.  @Mack

  2. "So much for keeping up with the positive attitude," Anemone had thought looking back at Soredell with her familiar smile. He had been complaining of the heat and had every right to do so, mentioning he had the Survival Skill which she still had not gained. Her red eyes focused on the people's health bars, steady green as always and Shield keeping up with the hate of the magma colored serpents. She had snapped her collar a few times to let some of the hot wind brush against her 'glowing' skin. She dare not call it sweat, but she would be thinking about it. It was difficult for a woman to be in this kind of heat especially with three men around, she hoped against hope she didn't smell bad do to her perspiring body. She gulped and froze in spot with such a thought in her head of all times to have such ideas. There was not much else she could do here but watch and wait, cheering them on seemed to have little impact on morale and Anemone had nothing on her to help Soredell through his heated misery. So she would stay back in the rear and watch as the others would pummel the mobs, they seemed likely to die in the next round which meant moving on and getting away from this place.

  3. The woman smiled and clenched her hands around the fabric of her pants when Shield mentioned she was "Insufferably bubbly?" She didn't know what he meant by that, was it because of her cheery and out going attitude, or maybe he didn't really enjoy her company after all. There was an unchanged expression on her face that seemed to be riddled with sadness now as she dropped her eyes down to her lap. "Of course...How silly of me. To actually think, people would only use me for my skills. I have nothing of a personality if people find me insufferable when I speak. Well then..." The woman stood up and she bowed her head to the both of them. "I hope in whatever you find or do to help your grief makes things better for you in this world, Piera. I must take my leave now. It was nice to meet you. Should you need me for anything, please don't hesitate to ask. As a Knight of the Blood Oath, and my personal Oath, I will do whatever I can within my power." The woman once more bowed her head at Piera and turned to Shield.

"Have a good afternoon to you as well, Shield. I am sorry you find me insufferable to be around." Was she hurt? Perhaps so, of the people she adventured with she thought they might have a solid friendship in the future, but she knew all in all whatever he wanted from her was nothing more than she a personal collector of materials. She lifted her hands and gripped the collar of her shirt, smiled and walked out of the Inn.

    @Shield @Piera

  4. Piera was dealing with grief among other things. Anemone had withdrawn back into her shell and sat there with her hands in her lap. Her eyes were downcast, perhaps she said a bit too much and put too much of herself out there on others. She sighed silently with her words withdrawn. When Shield defended her verbal comments, the woman only smiled a little. Anemone never felt loss in this game much like this woman had done, so she was within the grieving time of being less than optimistic. She perked her head up at what the possible plans could be, but Shield was right. There was no jury or law of the land in this world, everyone was here for themselves one way or another. People just wanted to survive, while others...others got strong enough to make sure no one would ever mess with them, or they would throw about their power like children and crush others.

Alas, Anemone sat there silently with nothing more to say. She had just wanted to help, but it seemed like it backfired on her. That was no surprise considering her track record on such things. Her bright red eyes dimmed as they drifted down to her hands in her lap, she would sit there for the moment and contemplate on perhaps making this a better situation. But then, it might just be better to keep her mouth shut and just let them talk it out. She was not necessarily good with talking with strangers anyways, but Shield was much more keen on this than she was. In the end, players and people did what they wanted to do. Kill or protect, mop up the mobs or go for the kill on a boss. There was a lot of selfishness in this world but that was going to be a thing no matter where she was.

    @Shield @Piera

  5. Anemone had to remember that she was with a group of players with varying backgrounds. Each one of them had a past of their own before this game took flight and each one a personality as different as the next person. When they were confronted with the serpents, the woman made a small scowl as she looked them over and shook her head, "It is not my day...I have feeling this heat thing is gonna be difficult to turn away for the next few weeks." She said popping her collar to allow more of a hot breeze to strike her flesh. Taking several steps back, she watched as each person took a crack at the four mobs. Soredell's frustration was showing and she cringed and bit down on her lower lip when he said "Jesus," again reminding herself that they all came from varied backgrounds. And she would not simply get on his back for saying the word, although she herself would never take the Lord's name in vain.

With her eyes on their health bars, there was not much she could do except stand there and act pretty useless for them. Red eyes on the other players, "Just think of it like this. We are more than half way through the dungeon and we can get out of here soon. Keep a positive attitude everyone! We can do this!" She gave a very small cheer to hopefully send some of her positive vibes towards the group of people. She had to do what she could to help them, even if only for morale support. @Shield

  6. When he joked at her miswording of the situation, she gave him a playful scowl and lightly pushed his shoulder, "Baka..." she said almost so silently it wasn't heard. Anemone didn't mean to harangue him over his special situation about that orange crystal, but he was her friend and she would do almost absolutely anything for him if it came down to it. While the wind was harsh, it helped keep the low end of her hair off her shoulder and brushed it back enough so she didn't have to constantly tweak her hair position out of her face. As they were walking once more, Anemone slowly nodded her head listening to him. A faint smile on her lips as she knew there wasn't something he was talking about, but wouldn't press the matter on it.

"I'm happy you are at least doing well. You do know if you ever need me for anything you are free to give me a call right? I enjoy making food, so that's no problem. And if you need someone to talk to, I am always here to lend an ear. I pray for all my friends before I go to bed that they stay healthy and strong in whatever they need to do on their day to day routine." She was curious though why he had not taken up that Redemption Quest, there had to be a reason for it. She bit down on her lower lip and teased her hair with her fingers as they coiled around her digits, "Well, to be honest, I am not as pure as people might think as well. I think if we know that we are not all pure then it is easier on ourselves to live here. We need to do the things we need to do here to survive. Sometimes these things are not so pure and great. And you are right, I can't save everyone, but I can at least do what I can to try. I want to heal as many people as I can, which is why I am always usually the first now to take on a dangerous mission. Somewhere out there, someone needs somebody for something. Maybe it's selfish reasoning."

The woman rested her hands behind her back and enjoyed their walk together to the quest objective which he had mentioned to be a Sand Shark, that didn't sound very pleasant. But he said it was a low risk adventure so she would not worry about it. Having mentioned that he was a night person brought a smile to her face, "Ya know, I've been becoming a night person as well? There is a fantastic collection of in game books about the lore of the world here and I find them to be truly fascinating. So I would spend hours at night just reading...I love books, especially romance novels. Now don't laugh, but I think Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites. "

Talking had caused the harsh heat and sun to become negligible for the woman, she was in good company and was able to speak freely with Aereth around. She titled her head to the side and looked at him with those bright red eyes, "I hope we can do this more often. I enjoy my time with you, @Aereth."

  7. The woman fiddled with her hair and her own fingers when she looked Aereth in the eye when he gave her compliments. "Ah, thank you very much. My confidence in my self worth has ramped up a bit since joining the Knights. Mack has...well, he taught me many things about being a person that I didn't see in myself. Mistakes, missed opportunities, not regretting. I need to be more assertive so I have been trying to 'get in there' the best I can." She was pleased that Aereth had enjoyed his meal. She clapped her hands twice and smiled brightly at him, big red eyes beaming as she did so, "Oh! I am so glad that you were able to enjoy that meal. I put all of my heart and soul into it and then some!"

She shied away from him a little bit, even though he was an orange player, she was not scared of him in the least. She knew very little of the circumstances of what happened to cause the change or the reason why he would not take the Redemption Quest, but those were his own thoughts and actions and she would not butt-in on his world. With her hands clasped up to her chest, the woman gave an outward sigh and smiled, "That is quite good to hear. This heat is already making me glow a bit, I am not too fond of this floor or the heat for that matter. But I won't complain about it anymore. We have a mission to do, yes?" Her lavender lips curled once again into a smile as they headed out into the desert. She would stick to Aereth allowing him to lead while she followed closed behind. Hot wind buzzed across her face, grains of sand flicking over her boots as she moved cautiously through the sandy winds.

"I have been doing well I suppose. Besides working on myself, I have been getting out more and helping where I can. If I could, I would help everyone who needed or wanted it. That is the job of the Knight after all, yes? You are a protector, Aereth. And that is something I admire about you. There are too many people who fall into the seduction of the darkness and they allow it to control them. I don't fear these people, but I do pity them. But anyways, because of you I too wish to protect people of this world, no matter who they are. My goals have unchanged since I  joined the Knights, if anything more it has cemented my beliefs into stronger ideals."

She swept a hand across her forehead from the bead of sweat itching her brow. She hoped against hope that her makeup would not run off her face because of the moisture. The last thing she wanted to look like for Aereth was some Thrift Town Hooker. She cleared her voice, allowing a more audible and louder tone of voice to be heard over the wind, "How are things with you? I know it is difficult to traverse with that over your head, " she said pointing to his crystal, "Are you at least eating and sleeping well? I can help you with that if you need--" She placed both hands over her mouth and ran in front of Aereth, "I- I didn't mean like that! I mean, you and me! I mean me making you meals! Not ...helping you to sleep or anything. Oooh. I'm just making a fool of myself here. I'm sorry. That comment came out wrong. I just mean since it might be difficult for you to procure decent meals and stuff. I don't mind making you food." Her cheeks burned hot from both the heat and embarrassment, she even felt it deep within her uniform making her body quite uncomfortable. Hopefully he didn't misinterpret what she was attempting to say although she did have romantic thoughts of some people, it became very difficult for her sometimes not to daydream about that perfect romance novel she would drum up in her imagination. @Aereth

  8. Crimson streaked white hair bounced with every movement of her body as she traveled from her starting location to the teleport plaza. Her red eyes had followed the portal device as she looked at it once. She looked over her body to make sure everything she had on her was needed for this quest. Of course, it would be another one of those crazy days on Floor Five and just when she thought it was all said and done with. Taking a deep breath and holding it for a moment, she called out the name of the city where she needed to go...Floor Five, the desert.

Her body shimmered away with light flecked dust as she was carried off to the dry and arid heat of floor five. She stifled a cough from the pressure of the sun hitting her back and all around her. She felt like the sun was just swallowing her up as she stood there, "Oh yes. I remember this floor. Why did it have to be this floor." She rolled her bright red ruby colored eyes, of course she would come to this floor a million times or more if she needed to be at the side of Aereth, which is why she was here in the first place. Sweeping a palm over her Knights of the Blood Oath emblem on her upper chest, the woman smiled and began to stroll forward meeting up with Aereth at the indicated spot, "Good afternoon, Sir Aereth. Sorry if I am late, I usually arrive in a timely matter. But one had to psyche themselves up for a journey into the desert. To be quite honest, I had thought I would never return here again." The woman placed both hands behind her back. That shyness seemed to still convey much of her personality as she spoke a little higher than a whisper towards the male player. She had not forgotten their last adventure and the fact that he visited her shop, or more like, asked to meet her up near the safe zone for his items which she made for him. "I never got a chance to ask if you enjoyed that meal I made you. I hope it was to your liking. So we are going on a quest today, is that it? Well, I hope we have fun!" A small little cheer from her as she made a fist into the air, right leg lifting up behind her as she gave a small hop.

She didn't realize how corny she seemed to be at that moment and just blushed it away as the strands of colored hair teased in her face. She smiled with her lavender lips none the less and looked down, "We should probably get started then. I was here not too long ago helping a friend of mine, Shield. He needed some materials and we were able to collect a lot of these things called Fulgurites. I think that's what they were called. Interesting things...." Anemone smiled at Aereth, the heat of the sun now hiding her rosy cheeks as she was now just 'glowing' from the heat. @Aereth

"Oh! That's quite sweet of you and rather romantic as well. This girl must be a pretty lucky gal," Anemone said with her hands swinging behind her back. She had dreamed something of like that for herself one day, it was one of those hopeless romantics that would scheme and plot in their head to be whisked away by a gallant knight. However, she has not been met with such fantasies here. She had quite a few protectors that she had run into, but she highly doubted any one of them would be interested in a fragile thing like her. Sweeping the crimson streaked hair from her face and with a small smile they had continued on into the thick fog which soon came out thinning as they came upon a location to which Grave was leading them.

Hands up to her chest as the woman's eyes beamed around and looked for any salvageable materials but the land seemed a little bare to produce anything in this location. Anemone placed a finger on her lip and looked on as Grave began to open up some kind of hidden trapdoor. She continued to watch as his muscles strained and with a mighty tug uplifted the door which revealed a rather dark and mysterious underground corridor. "Oh, this is going to be quite difficult to see." Watching Grave go first, she stepped forward and saw his hand pop out. Smiling, she turned and placed her small hand in his own and blushed lightly as she took hold of it as they made their way down. "Thank you, Grave. I can be quite the clumsy woman sometimes." Releasing her hand from his when she knew she had stable ground to stand on. @Grave

  10. The small woman gave a nervous smile as per the comment on having him patched up. She nervously pulled the hair from her face to around her ear before dipping her eyes towards the ground. Anemone had only given the softest of smiles as they began their trip through the floor three establishment. She kept her hands to herself as well her eyes on the ground mostly and up once in awhile to take in the certain features of this village world. Red eyes fell upon Grave as they stopped at the borderline of the forest, his comment made her smile and shook her head once again followed by a weak smile, "N-no, that won't be necessary. I might not get out to adventure too much, but I know when I feel safe. Unless there are player killers involved, I don't think the mobs here are gonna cause too much trouble." Logical worlds from the female as they pressed on.

Clearing her throat with a simple cough and not to be dulled down by silence; the young woman decided to speak up. "So you said this was a quest, correct? And you were mainly doing it for the reward. Is there any significance to this reward or is it just the usual col and skill points that you wanted?" The woman was rather curious, she did not know the general layout of most of the quests except most gave out col or points, but the rewards for slaying the best or killing mobs, those were under her radar for the most part. She kept her hands to her back as she walked, now having to lift her head and looking forward as the thick blanket of white fog rolled around their bodies as the entered the forest. Her red eyes squinted, "It's becoming a little more difficult to see." @Grave

  11. "Oh no! Please by all accounts I should be the one apologizing. I am a new recruit, the Vice Commander probably hasn't alerted everyone of my comings. But all in all, it is a pleasure to meet you, and you as well Hikari. I've met so many wonderful familiars so far, you are one of the most adorable I have seen." Anemone spoke with a lightness in her voice. She nodded her head slowly and bit down on her lower lip, if the quest was on this floor, then it should not prove to be too much of a problem. Her high ranking healing skills should work out for both of them if it would need to be so, and she should most likely tell him about her unique gift.

"I am not scared as I feel more inclined to say. As I have said once, I am the Support Healer of the guild, that also means I have no combat experience or damaging skills on hand. If I tag along, you may end up having to do the dirty work. But I can make it up to you with some materials. I am a fairly decent searcher, and I got the Gathering Skill. Knowing that, I think if you'd like to we can stop somewhere and pick another player up unless you can handle the work load?" Anemone wanted to lay out all her cards so she knew what Grave was getting into. He did mention he was looking to bring someone along, possibly another DPS to make things go by faster and easier but he was kind enough to allow her to join him, at least she could search out some materials while they were on this little quest.

He had spoken about the Forest of Wavering Mist, "Sounds like an interesting quest. I have to admit, I am not one who takes adventures without the aid of others. I have not done many of the quests on these floors since I am a Healer. But it sounds like a fun adventure, I shall do my best to keep us all safe." She squinted her eyes, she too would even protect the little creature clinging to him if it came down to it. When she took a last moment to make sure her satchel was secured over her hip and the belt was fastened, her brightly colored red and white hair bounced with a nod of her head. Lavender lips once again smiled back at Grave as she took her place to his side and would follow, "Yes, I am quite ready to go when you are. Please lead the way," she said with a small enthusiastic cheer, although barely audible. @Grave

  12. Anemone was walking along the path of the city. A small smile on her face as she walked through the thickness of the people around her. Curly hair moved and bounced with each step she took until she was coming around the corner and down the walk way. It was then that she noticed a not so familiar face, but she knew the player by his icon plate of the Knights of the Blood Oath. She had gathered her things, pat her satchel and strode towards the man as he was walking towards her.

Small lavender smile on her lips, the woman stopped in front of the larger male player. "Grave," she said lowly but looking directly into his eyes. She had built a small bit of confidence over the course of time and she had wanted to meet more of the members of the guild she was in. Red eyes looked at him and she stuck out her pale hand to him, "It is good to meet you finally. Oh, we haven't met yet. At least I don't think. I am one of the new members of the Knights, my name is Anemone. I will be the support healer in the guild for the time being. It is a very nice to meet you."

The woman with her hand in his shook his hand, the small lithe fingers inches smaller than his own as they shook and she smiled. She didn't know what else to say after that, and she clasped her hands behind her back and looked around, "So, you off to do something today? Would you require any help? I wouldn't mind spending some time to learn more about you and the members of the guild. I still have quite a bit to learn about the structure and the ways things work." Her smile ever lasting even through the small hiccups of her conversation. She was attempted to speak louder so he could hear her, hopefully he was getting the message. @Grave

Anemone clapped her hands and gave a small bounce of her body as she cheered the players on. Another display by Beat's sword art, or more like punch and kick arts, cleared of the now crumbled rubble of ruin golems. She had smiled at each and everyone of them with her hands up to her chest, "Good job, everyone!" She would be inclined to say though she did not do much in the way of helping, but morale support was never a bad idea, even when things looked kinda grim, even the small spark of a smile, a kind and encouraging word could go a long way. Sweeping hair from her shoulder, the female teased the locks of hair with her dainty fingers and her red eyes narrowed with a search. Shield had found himself a material, however, it seemed this room was picked clean from their recent journey into it.

"Shall we proceed then? I don't mind resting, but this room is still rather uncomfortable." She said peeling her collar away slightly to fan herself and cool down a bit. @Shield

  14. "Oh this is troubling news. I am sorry to hear about your friend..." In fact Anemone had no idea how to soften any sort of blow one might receive from information gathered such as this. There was no healing skill to heal a broken or even shattered heart. With a small smile, Anemone placed a hand on Piera's shoulder. "I know it might sound bleak, but I am sure your friend is happy where he is now. He is free of the troubles this world bears on us all. As a Healer, I intend to help everyone clear this game and become a front line player. Which is why I bear the mark of the Knights of the Blood Oath now. I am not gonna act like the scared and frightened girl I once was anymore. If I want to truly help anyone, I have to be out there to help save them all. The green and the orange." She retracted her hand after she gave the woman a small squeeze of her shoulder.

Red eyes looked to Shield and she shook her head at him, her look was more saddened by his words, but they logical sense, "Perhaps if we can coax the player into a prison area or restrict their movements to a single floor. Right now there is very few limitations that are set on players that are orange, some have to risk their lives to protect others and then they...they have no choice but to fight and kill. I knew a woman once, she protected me from a Player Killer, she herself was not orange, but she struck that player down. It was a scene I could not fathom in my head and the scariest time of my life in this game. I owe her my life which is part reason of why I am now fighting to help everyone and protect those who I can." The woman rested her hands in her lap and sat in silence for the moment. Revenge only resulted in more death and more hate. She had her own path, she just hope against hope that others would not be filled with so much rage and desire to kill more players.

Anemone lifted her hand took her cheek and smiled, "Of course. I would want to help any many people as I can to be honest. Our colors might be different, but we are still humans and we still strive for a way out of this game." The woman patted her head down with her sleeve and took in a hefty amount of air into her lungs, "I think I am nearing my limit for this heat. Unfortunately, I don't think I see any odd sand formations which could lead to something more adventurous. Perhaps on another floor where I am not baking alive I would be more help to you." The woman shifted and placed a hand over her neck, the town was so close she could just feel the shade from one of the establishments within.

Red eyes on safezone, she turned to @Shield and smiled, "As promised! All the materials I have gathered may go to you. Despite the heat, I actually had fun and it was rather educational. Thank you for a pleasant day. We should do it again."

"Quite right, this heat can be terrible if you start thinking about it too much." The woman said, another long sigh and a sweep of her sleeve across her brow. The woman fanned herself yet again, she was not used to such temperatures like this or even being all hot and sweaty like this. It was not only uncomfortable but rather embarrassing as well. When Shield was explaining about the guild at his back, there seemed to be something of a tone in his voice. It was somewhat curious but she knew prying would probably fall on deaf ears.

"Well, you have been working extraordinarily hard. You have already surpassed me no doubt. When you climb mountains as big as the ones you do, it will be much harder to find those who will be able to party with you on successful hunts. But if I may say..." the woman said, dropping to her knees and shuffling sand away from a small spot, she discovered another massive piece of the unique item.

"If you ever need someone to come along with you anywhere, I am just an earshot away. Though we belong to different guilds, that doesn't mean we can't work together. Like we are now." She stood up dusting her pants clean of the sand and debris. Hands at her back, she smiled, "The invitation is always open. And...if you ever just want to talk, I am available for that too." @Shield

Her arms swung behind her back and they began to move once more. At least moving seemed a little less hot and heavy than standing under one spot to allow all that sun to constantly beat down on her. She took in a sharp heavy breath and nodded, "I met Itzal on a quest. He accompanied to fight a Wasp Queen. And Sey I have met on a material gathering quest on the seventeenth floor. I nearly took his arm off as well when I was startled, he was quite heroic." She had fond memories of both people, they helped her out so much in getting her confidence.

"The guild you are in is full of wonderful people. I believe you will certainly do well with those people at your back. I wish nothing more than your safety and good fortunes, Shield." When they were heading back, Anemone saw with a slight glint of the sun reflective over a solid piece of sand stone. She polished the sand away and lifted it up and placed it in her satchel, "Good thinking to move away. I believe we found all the good pieces." When Shield started to speak, there was a bit more of a human action to him than just the 'get stronger' feeling she felt from him. She placed a hand over her mouth and giggled, her eyes closing briefly before she cleared her throat and continued on her way to search still thinking about his joke.

    "You are quite clever, @Shield."

Anemone nodded. She had not come to this floor that many times due to its dry heat and unforgiving sun. She fanned herself some more to cool her body down and then swept a sleeve over her brow and eyes to get the sting and sweat out. She huffed a bit as she looked onward and brought up her map and stopped, "It doesn't seem like there is anything special located around here. I got some map data from another person recently so I could have a mild idea of what this desert is like, but all of the data seems barren." Anemone continued her search, while Shield had been fortunate with another find she was now having some difficulty finding the shards of solidified sand. Drawing in a heavy breath, the woman let out an exasperated exhale, once more using her sleeve to sweep away a rolling bead of sweat.

"Survival Skill, I was mentioned this before from Itzal and Sey, I really should get to work on perhaps getting that. I can barely stand the temperature on floor four as well. I prefer cozy autumn weather..." She said with a small smile on her face. But it was time to get abck to work and helping Shield with his material searches. @Shield

Anemone had turned and swept some moisture from her brow as she turned to look at Shield. She smiled and nodded, "That seems a very likely scenario I think. This place is pretty hot, and I haven't seen any other players here in the desert yet. I wouldn't actually mind watching from a distance to see a lightning show in the desert maybe when its cooler? I think it might be something really beautiful and magical." The healer shifted her arms and stroked the sand once more finding another large piece of fulgurite before breaking it into pieces and into her satchel.

She cleared her throat and fanned her face once more while looking back at Shield, "Must be our lucky day," she said patting her satchel full of materials, "I've got at least twenty pieces so far, was there a certain number of these that you were needing? I am not rushing you or anything, but I was curious if you had a certain number in mind. And you had mentioned a dungeon as well, did you not? I shall try to keep my eyes peeled, but this sand is becoming quite a nuisance." @Shield

  20. When the Inn door had squeaked open, it caught the attention of the female player in her Knight's Garb. Her red eyes traveled to the company of people who had walked in, solemn faces showed on their expressions. Anemone bit down on her lower lip, the look on their faces almost made it appear they had gone through a terrible ordeal, perhaps a raid that had gone wrong or something? Maybe a loss of a friend during said raid. The woman could not help but think she could have saved another life is she had accompanied them, but that was the reason why she was with the Knights now. She would not want to let anyone else suffer and die in this world. Her healing abilities could be used for a great purpose in this world. Bringing her hand down on the mug of hot tea, the woman blew its contents before lifting it to her mouth and taking a pull from the sweet tasting aromatic beverage.

When she lifted her head a second time, she had noticed that the players were her friends and she immediately stood up, "Oh dear!" She said rushing over to them looking at each one with a small smile on their face, "Good day to you all. @Beatbox and @Shield, and I don't think I have met you before (@Piera). Hello, my name is Anemone." The woman took initiative which was odd for the woman to do so, but she had seen their forlorn faces and could not just sit idly by with how distraught their aura looked. Small smile on her face still, "Is everyone ok? I fear as those you all have come from a horrible battle or something? Is there something I can do to help?" Her expression unchanged and her voice was sweet and low, but carried a sincere tone. She hated to see people like this, especially the woman. Her eyes heavy and she felt a great deal of confusion and stress in this one. "Why don't you all come take a seat?" The female moved out of the way and gestured for them to sit in some of the more comfortable looking chairs in this small little place. Anemone could only hope nothing too horrible had happened, but it seemed she might wrong on this account. Whatever tragedy had be fallen them, it was weighing heavily on her mind as well.

Hot wind bounced around the female as she shielded her face with the cloth of her cape tails. Red eyes burned through the sand but it wasn't able to stop her of deviate her focus from finding materials. With every few feet they walked there was another cluster of these fulgurites which meant more items for Shield. Brushing the sand away with her hands, the woman sat there and collected the items and placed them in her satchel. She took in a heavy draw of air into her lungs and exhaled slowly, sweeping away her hair and the heat from her brows attempting to not smear any of her makeup. Raising to one knee and then and then standing up altogether, the female smiled to herself and kept on going. Seems like Shield had preferred the company of silence above all else, she wouldn't mind so much if that was his wish to work in a more peaceful environment, she probably would talk his ear off now if she wasn't so afraid to start another conversation with him. The last one though, didn't turn out so well. Patting her satchel and eyes moving across the sand, she would straighten up and move on once more. @Shield

  22. "My apologies, Shield." The woman had dropped the subject. Chalk it up to her to be incapable of not talking about something so personal. She sighed mentally and nodded her head, he was very much on getting stronger with his stats. But all the game really does when it comes to levels means beefing up your hit points and energy pool. There really was no 'getting stronger' in this world unless you were lucky with what were they called? Demonics? Uniques? The woman lowered her head and shrugged, she didn't need anything like that unless it helped saved more people. So in a way, if she wanted to be greedy for anything it would be to save more lives, but she too knew that the comfort of having a higher HP pool meant surviving another hit although she had been safe so far without falling into the hands of combat.

Running a finger along her outer collar, the woman 'glowed' with a sheen as she set her eyes on the sand. After her little mishap of digging too much into Shield, she seemed a little less talkative. Maybe she could make it up to him with what he wanted, a Dungeon or another. She would keep her eyes peeled for such a thing. Until then, he also needed materials. Hopefully she could make it all up with some extra items at the end of the trip.

Another lucky hit as she bent over and brushed her hands across the sand revealing another large piece of this fulgurite rock. Lifting the heavy object, she was able to break it into numerous pieces once again stashing them into her satchel. She looked up and dusted her hands free of the sand and smiled back to Shield, then immediately looked away. What else was there to say? awkward...

    @Shield

  23. Anemone's head bobbed up and down as she listened to Shield and how he was possibly not getting as much rest as he should be, she knew that feeling as well with her new responsibilities, "I know what you mean. I find myself twisting and turning a lot at night. Mostly because I am thinking of home and wanting to be back there. I miss my room, my books, my family...There is much I miss. BUT, I am also very well focused on what I need to do here as well. Should I be consumed by my thoughts, I fear I will be soon be defeated. The Knights keep me moving though and being a Support and Healer I have my work cut out for me. I shall be joining the front lines myself. To make sure everyone can make it back home safely."

Fanning herself once more, the once morbidly shy woman began searching around in the sand. Bright red eyes tracing over thin grains as she stared and burrowed through the sand with her piercing vision, "Do you...ever dream of being back home again, Shield? I'm sorry if that sounded a little too personal. I mean, I am sure you do. Why else would you be fighting for survival day in and day out. Especially at your growth, you must really want to go back. Something important?"

With all the wind blasting around and the hot air creeping over her neck, the woman shivered defiantly from the grains of sand getting under her garb making it very uncomfortable. She had stopped and collected a rather large fulgurite, but it was easily broken up into pieces as she sent them into her satchel. She smiled broadly with her discovery and noticed a spiky cactus. "Oh boy, you think there might be some water stored in that? I could go for a cold drink of water. Not that I am not enjoying my time with you, Shield. But perhaps, next time when you call, pick a more comfortable location?" She giggled softly into her hands, but she was happy that she was called by him. This could be a nice stepping stone for a tighter friendship perhaps. @Shield

  24. Anemone had taken a step or two closer to Shield and examined the item in his hand before her pocketed it away, "Fulgurite. That is quite interesting. I never heard of sand solidifying by strikes of lightning. That is quite intriguing." The woman had smelled of cherries, but her perfume was becoming bland by the hot shifting of the winds and the turning over of sand. The heat was remarkable and she was happy as can be that she wore her hair up on a day like this one. Coating her lips with her tongue to keep it moist, the woman smiled and nodded, "Mack said the same thing. He does not like to be called Sir, but it's not because you are Knightly or not. It's just a form of respect. I called everyone ma'am and sirs back in the real world." That small smile slowly faded when her arms shifted from her back to her front, it was hard to do this every day, being in this game. It was a constant reminder how much she missed the ones left behind.

    "But if you insist, Shield."

The Healer brought her hands together to her forefront and moved across the sand once more with the blazing hot sun down on them. The woman lifted her hand and attempted to blow a cool breeze towards her face as she 'glowed,' because women do not sweat of course, "It is hotter than the dickens out here, isn't it?" Her eyes searched through the sand, peering with her keen red eyes. However those fulgurite crystals might be very difficult to find since the sand was so fine and it camouflaged well with the grains. Other than searching for materials, she was unsure of how to approach a topic of discussion with the Tank.

"Oh! I nearly forgot. But, how have you been doing Shield? Getting enough rest in between all this..." she used her hands to gesture the world around them. @Shield

  25. Anemone had been awake for a while. Sun shine on her face, body radiantly glowing from a fresh shower and a clean and pristine image of her new self. Anemone, the newest member of the Knights of the Blood Oath had been accepted into the guild as one of their own and as a Support Character. Despite the backlash the guild has been known from, she wanted to set a bright new example for the guild and that means helping anyone and everyone in this world. A smile on her face, the woman had received a message from Shield, a person she knew as a reliable tank as per their meeting during another day of material gathering. Her face had a radiant smile as she scrolled the contents of the message, and replied with haste letting him known that she will be there.

Little did Anemone know when she had reached floor five, she was met with the uncomfortable blasting of hot wind and sand. Her onset of it was just another challenge to get through that will make her stronger, hopefully. She had found Shield and his armor not too far off from the destination. Her boots slipped through sand as she marched across the city establishment, "Greetings, Sir Shield!" she said with a happy wave catching his attention. The young woman bobbed up and down as she reached him and breathed in slowly, "Had I known this was the infamous desert floor, I would have been more prepared. But I suppose it's just another challenge given." Upon her upper right breast of her garment, the decorated cross of the KoTB showed in the blistering sunlight, along with the accented colors of her new guild. She was now a proud member of the Knights, and she even wore a new style of hair with crimson strands to signify this new change physically.

"I will do my best to help gather materials for you today. I don't believe the desert has much in terms of food materials, but I do have a request since I am offering my services. All that I ask...Is that we have some fun today!" She clapped her hands, did he think she might ask him for something else? She would never trade her skills for some kind of payment when it means that it might help someone down the road later on. She was unsure of Shield's profession, but that didn't mean he didn't need a healthy supply of materials.

    "Shall we be off?"

With a confident stride the woman started off the journey and barely getting out of the town she had collected several items of note that could be used for something or another. Turning to Shield, "We might have some very good luck today, Sir @Shield."
