  1. Seul found himself pushed back as Dani stepped up to get her hit in. She had offered to let him take a rest which caused him to laugh. Like I would sacrifice this game to let you win like that. I may not be winning, but that doesn’t mean I will let you win by default He then stuck his tongue out at her and attempted to punch the boulder again, forgetting to bring his tongue back into his mouth, it was a weak punch but it at least did a bit of damage. Dani was definitely right, the sun was going down, where had the time gone? Realizing his tongue was still out when he looked back at Dani, he quickly brought it back into his mouth. It looks like it might rain soon, this will get interesting I wonder if there are any kind of penalties or advantages to this game due to weather. He tried to play off his absentmindedness that occurred from time to time, it was a quirk that he enjoyed though it also caused him to polish the same spot on his bar for an hour before when he got lost in thought.

    Then what she had said about a player's guid entered his mind Do you know how to access the manual? I hadn’t even thought about the existence of one. He wondered how to even access, they had been in the game for a little while now and he still had absolutely no idea how to use half the menu, to be fair he wasn’t too concerned with it at the time, he was more focused on taking it easy

  2. Seul looked at her and shrugged I mean, it is not like I haven’t seen it before. You may not remember it but when I would make drinks with Tequila you had a hard time keeping your clothes on… come to think of it, it was only ever Tequila that did that to you. I wonder why… Seul trailed off as he began to ponder what it was about tequila in particular that would make her do such things Sadly I have found that the so called alcohol in this game does not actually act in the same way as the alcohol we are used to in the real world. Though, it does still have the same wonderful taste. And to answer your question, sadly no I don’t have anything on me as it stands right now. As odd as it may seem

    Seul unbuttoned the rest of his shirt, not thinking anything of it. For someone who wasn’t keen on working out, he was still very well toned thanks to the cardio he willed himself to do every morning. I mean, what else are you supposed to do in the morning when the bar is closed?

    Stepping up to the rock, Seul struck it with all his might, a chunk that was the same size as the first strike came off. I am starting to think that the ability to strike things in this game is completely random. Perhaps I should look into this at some point. Do you know of any substantial ways to research things in this game?

    Neabaz was getting lectured, this was new for him. Most people just backed away from his philosophical ramblings but not this kid. Neabaz turned around to face Itzal, a massive grin on his face. He places the large battle axe on the back of his neck and walks backwards. “First off, I like your spunk, you are the first person to challenge my beliefs in quite some time! As I say, true philosophical progress can’t be accomplished without a good counter argument! So let us commence in our philosophical beliefs and discuss the meaning of this poultry thing called life!” It took every ounce of energy Neabaz had to keep from shaking in excitement. “I will ignore the thought of Sin as I do not believe in a God so I don’t believe sin exists. If by sin you meant evil then maybe but at the same time evil is a subjective term. As for wanting  to get back to the real world, you say that you have family there and things in life you wish to enjoy. But if you can die at any second, why should that stop you from enjoying your time in this world? Is it not just as likely that you will die from us beating the game as it is for you to die in the ‘real world’ when you die in the game. Kayaba could have just as likely lied to us about dying in the game equals death as he could have beaten the game equals life. So if you are so hell bent on getting back to the real world, how can you be so sure that you are doing it the right way?”

    @Itzal

  4. Seul chuckled, bracing himself for the bearhug. The extremely tight hug, pushing the air out of him. He coughed when he was finally put down. He knew that it was a nocebo, but that didn’t stop his mind from making him feel it. Once he finished coughing he looked at Dani with an almost arrogant smirk. Well, I always was the smart one If it were anyone else, Seul wouldn’t have said anything like this. However the sibling like rivalries between them was fun to stroke.

    Seul watched as Dani proceeded to show off some of her signature moves. It was always fun to watch her. Ya’know? I think you get better at those moves every time you do them. Seul took a deep breath and did his best to square his shoulders. Attempting to deal any sort of damage to the boulder, however he just seemed to be too weak. He shrugged and took a step back, unbuttoning his shirt a little more to try to reduce the buildup of heat, he then proceeded to remove the black jacket he wore. He rarely wore a shirt under his dress shirt I think this is going to take us a long time he said before leaning over to whisper in Dani’s ear And does she have to be watching us? It is getting really creepy… I don't think she had blinked since we started He subtly motioned to the Old NPC who had given them the quest.

  5. Seul paused for a minute, That is what I was planning to do! Write a book, I wonder why I can be so forgetful sometimes. You’re right, I can start that book I wanted to write. Though, I think I will wait until after I have some new perspective. I have so many new experiences I can take into account now! So many new things to discover! Seul closed his eyes, looked up to the sky and took a deep breath See, this is why I never went to college, I would never have learned anything I don't already know. At least now I will be able to gain the wisdom of generations of men and women.

    He looked back at Dani, she was sotic in how she stood in her boxing stance. It was beautiful in its own way, stunning even. Seul took in the familiar sight, it was pleasant to feel the rush of nostalgia it brought him. Then she said something that he wasn’t expecting, he wasn’t sure if he had heard it correctly, it seemed to be under her breath. What did she mean by that? Needs to look out for me? Seul smiled at her, showing his pristine white teeth. He was always proud of his smile, it was one of the things he took real pride in. I guess it is like that vacation you talked about, isn’t it? No worries in the world, experiencing new things, getting to meet new fighters with different styles. Perhaps even fighters that could actually pose a challenge for you.

    Seul attempted to punch the rock again making contact but his strike was weak. I think my first strike was a fluke in the system He laughed

  6.

    Neabaz laughed Atta-girl, He said in response to the powerful hit that Dani had made on the boulder See, at least you are good at it. Here watch Neabaz tried to do the same thing he had done the first time, but his balance was off and he landed himself in a forward roll. He may have had grace on his side, but grace was not going to save him from his inability to deal damage. He stood back up, laughing That is what I mean. You can actually hit the broadside of a barn. I am not saying that it has nothing to do with discipline, you have more of that than I do as well. Neabaz walked back over to Dani’s side. Thinking about the other questions she had asked him and considered how to answer them. It wouldn’t surprise me if you landlord did start doing that Neabaz said laughing She always was quite the bitch. And as for your other questions, I have met a few people that are ambitious enough to try to make it to the frontlines but I don't ask them many questions about it. You know how I am, I prefer to know about someone’s dreams and ambitions, I don't really care about their business. He paused for a moment, thinking Speaking of which, I haven’t asked you what yours are as of late. What are your current dreams?

    Neabaz had a feeling it would have something to do with getting out of this game, she had a different philosophy about life then he did. He didn't mind it, it was actually nice to get another side to the world from someone he trusted, and who better than your best friend? He was honestly very happy to be by her side again, and even moreso he was relieved that she was still alive. It was a weird feeling for him, normally he didn’t care if people lived or died but with the close connection to Dani he really didn’t want to see her die. It would leave him stranded in a world of loneliness that he knew he wouldn’t survive in.

  7. Neabaz laughed when she brought up him using big words. It was one of those things from their past. If you are talking about what I believe you to be eluding too with that, I wouldn’t know as I haven’t checked. Then, seemingly out of nowhere she was up in his face, challenging him. When she stepped back he placed his hand on his head You know I am not one for competition, but now that you are fired up, there is no way I am getting out of it so I guess I will humor you. Sure, we can do this bet, Against my better judgement. If I win which I won't I will get to have you do something for me in the future, and when I loose, you will get to have me do something for you. Just… don't go over the top with it. The ‘something’ can't last more than a day. Neabaz had completely ignored the influx on the ‘you’ that she said, he was never really one to understand such things when Dani was the one to say it. Here, let me even out the playing field so that we can have a fair competition and you can go first With that Neabaz weakly punched the boulder, intentionally dealing no damage to it. He had a slight smirk on his face at this point. He knew he wouldn’t win, and didn’t really want to win for that matter. He was curious as to what she wanted from that bet, no one makes those bets for no reason. @Daniella

  8. Neabaz swung back and forth a little bit, intending to  let himself down on his own but before he could, Dani had grabbed him from the tree, causing him to hit the ground a little harder than he had initially intended. I wouldn't say it is a twisted world, moreso it is the same as the world that we had came from originally but with some minor discrepancies. I quite like this version of the world if I am to be honest. It has an old-timey aesthetic that tickles my fancy. And for the record, I am not crazy, I am an absurdist and an existential nihilist.

    Strangely Neabaz was being asked about someone's appearance, it was not a normal thing for him to think about and while he had said something about it, he had not expected such a show from her but, what self respecting guy would really mind? Yeah, I noticed that too, but, for the record, they have always been that big, you probably just didn’t notice with them being attached to you and all. I was speaking more along the lines of the cat whiskers, I think they look quite good on you. Neabaz gave a slight chuckle and a kindhearted smile. He had attended almost every one of her boxing matches, never really being one for fighting himself. He had enjoyed seeing her succeed and comforting her when she failed. The confidence she showed was something he would have normally scoffed at, but for some reason he saw it as normal for her and in his eyes it seemed correct for her to have confidence. So…. let me get this straight… you want ME of all people to help you break a rock with their fists. And you call me crazy. He laughed a little bit more before stepping up to the rock, Neabaz, did what he could and hit the rock with all his might. He seemed to have broken off a bigger chunk then she had Wait… that's not right…. He was genuinely confused by this. I am not good at fighting, that is Dani’s stick… What just happened?

  9. The light afternoon breeze cause the bright green trees to sway. Neabaz was unsure whether this game had seasons or not, but he was beginning to believe that every day would be somewhat the same. He didn't really have a problem with that, it gave him the ability to enjoy the weather every day of the year.

    Neabaz sat in a tree by a strangely large rock. He was on the lowest branch and well hidden. There were some voices nearby. He couldn’t make out what they were saying but they seemed to be getting closer. He wondered who it was that would be approaching the rock. Perhaps there was a quest that was based of the tale of Sisyphus, where you had to push a large boulder up a hill just to have it roll back down to where it started. It would make sense then the positioning of the strangely large rock he was existing beside for the time being then.

    The voices kept approaching, one of them sounded familiar, and what was more it sounded familiarly angry. Neabaz peaked out one of the holes in the leaves and saw Dani, his closest and only friend from the real world. They had gone through almost everything together and she was the one who suggested him become a bartender in the first place, from back when he would make them mixed drinks with his parents alcohol while said parents were out of town. She hadn’t seemed to spot him yet, swiftly and gracefully he allowed himself to fall from the branches, the crook of his knees catching him on the branch and having him hang upside down in front of the woman. Hey, Dani. I like the look you put on. Neabaz gave her a warm smile as he hung

    @Daniella

  10. Neabaz looked at the man, giving him a firm handshake Okay, Itzal, I appreciate the interest in coming to my Tavern and a jump-start would be lovely. I don’t mind you joining me. But explain to my why it is such a big deal we get the daughter back? It is not like her death will change our lives. Not to mention we would just be damning her to a life of hatred and pain wouldn’t we? Neabaz wasn’t intentionally sounding accusatory with his words, in fact his tone was still very cheery and pleasant. You see, that is what I don't get about them frontliners. They strive to leave this world, to postpone the inevitable, we are all going to die anyways, and when Mistress Death finally does come for us, wouldn’t they rather be living happy lives then struggling to stay in a world that owes them nothing? I mean, what is the difference between the quote “Real world” and this one? We live our lives the same, we experience life the same, so how is this virtual world truly different from the one we think we came from? Neabaz grabs his Battle axe and starts to walk to the destination, assuming Itzal was following him as he did so.

    @Itzal

  11.

    A pop-up appeared in front of Neabaz,

    “Let there be Light” You must find and save this little girl from a cave and the monsters within. Do you accept?

    Someone had approached him, the man seemed to be cheery enough. Taking a sip of his ale he hit accept. Yeah, It probably is about time for me to get off my butt and start becoming stronger. But, then again, I only want to get to a higher floor to get more customers when I start my Tavern. Neabaz stretched, a warm smile on his face. I am Neabaz, who are you?  He held his free hand out to the stranger. He was glad to have been approached by someone. It wouldn’t have been long before he began to dwell on his own loneliness. You seem to be a much higher level than me. Not that that is a challenge to do, I am only level one He said with a chuckle What brings you to this floor?

    Neabaz’s messy hair and intentionally sloppy style set him aside from others. The large battle axe next to him was almost as tall as he was.

    The cloudy sky loomed overhead, threatening to rain. Neabaz had a mug of ale in his hand as he sat on the bench. He had no problem with the rain, in fact, he quite enjoyed it and was looking forward to feeling the cool sensation on his skin. He took a gulp of the frothy ale, The consistency isn’t right. It's too thin, and doesn’t have nearly enough froth. I really should become a bartender soon so that I may show these heathens how real ale tastes He chuckled slightly, his nonchalant facial expression showing just openly the content sate he was in.

    Someone approached him, a lady who was crying You have to help me” she said, attempting to talk through the tears M-my little girl… she has gone missing. Please, you have to save her before she dies Neabaz stared at here blankly before giving her a grin. I could but it won't really matter right? She will die someday anyway, by helping her I would be denying her the sweet embrace of death. Then who would be the monster? Those who captured her? Or me? There was no evil intent in his eye or his voice. Instead the words that came out of his mouth seemed to be pleasant, cheerful, as if they were supposed to cheer this lady up.

    @Itzal

  13. The midday sun rain down delicate rays of warming light upon the town. Neabaz was walking leisurely through the area, no intentions in mind. He had been reciting a poem out loud as he walked His joyful voice ringing out through the town

    Spoiler

    (OOC: This poem is ‘Summer Sun’ Written by Robert Louis Stevenson. Found on https://www.poemhunter.com/poems/sun/ )

    Great is the sun, and wide he goes

    Through empty heaven with repose;

    And in the blue and glowing days

    More thick than rain he showers his rays.

    Though closer still the blinds we pull

    To keep the shady parlour cool,

    Yet he will find a chink or two

    To slip his golden fingers through.

    The dusty attic spider-clad

    He, through the keyhole, maketh glad;

    And through the broken edge of tiles

    Into the laddered hay-loft smiles.

    Meantime his golden face around

    He bares to all the garden ground,

    And sheds a warm and glittering look

    Among the ivy's inmost nook.

    Above the hills, along the blue,

    Round the bright air with footing true,

    To please the child, to paint the rose,

    The gardener of the World, he goes.

    He was pleased with the bustle of the town, active as it had been the first day. It is amazing how immaculate this new world is! I cannot wait to meet so many more people, my life awaits me. And so does sweet mistress death, may she come bearing flowers and fruit for when I once again return to dust as I had once come from Neabaz had a smile on his face and joy in his voice as he spoke of this. This universe has no hold on me, one day I will be free, No matter what lies on the other side, I am sure it will have been a wild ride. Approaching a bench that sat a man and dragon. Strange as such a thing as, it had no affect on him. Greetings fellow, how are you today? Mind if I take a seat next to you?

    @Nocturn @Vigilon

  14. Rays of sun warmed Neabaz’s body as he lay resting, a smile on his face. A man had approached him, he heard the man before said man spoke. I know that voice… Neabaz’s eyes shot open and he looked to see his younger cousin standing beside him. Does he not realize who I am? Neabaz sat up too get a better look at Sky. The two always had looked similar, Sky being slightly shorter and younger that Saul, their hair colour and style matched almost perfectly. They even dressed similar. They had been mistaken for brothers the few times that Saul had visited Australia  I know you enjoyed those, Sky, I told you them before. Don’t you remember? How was Japan? Your mother told me you had decided to go on a trip there. I must say, though, it is a pleasant surprise to see you here! Remember what I said before I left to go home last time I when back to America? I had quoted Tom Perry “You and I will meet again, When we're least expecting it, One day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won't say goodbye my friend, For you and I will meet again.” Who would have thought that would have been so accurate?

    @Stryder

  15.

    The rustling dark forest was moving all around them. The light was dwindling as the last bit of the sun fell below the horizon. Wonderful! I am enthused that you are to choose to talk with me! Come, let us go to a plains where we may observe the night sky as we speak, I want to jot down some notes for my next poem! The bartender was quite happy to be accompanied by someone. I am called Neabaz, It is a pleasure to meet you! Not a fan of philosophy, eh? More of a physics guy. I can definitely assist you in the study of the quantum makings of the world. He kept walking to the open area he had seen earlier, laying down when he got to a good spot to look into the sky. So, what is it you wish to gain out of traveling the stars? I find that such things are not quite as possible as some may believe. The closest thing humanities got to speed fast enough to reach the speed needed to explore even our own galaxy was Project Orion, a spaceship that was supposed to use Nuclear Propulsion. It would have the capability of reaching speeds near that of the speed of light. Even then it would take years for you to make it to even Andromeda, and then the likelihood of those you know and care about still being alive when you got back would be slim to none, if earth even still existed by that time. Neabaz smiled happy to have remembered such things. He was not the best at astrophysics but Quantum mechanics had intrigued him at some point in his childhood so he had made efforts to learn as much as he could about the subject

    @XxSulSus

  16. A man fell from the trees aloft, hitting the ground with a sort of clumsy grace. You were listening to my conversation you say? Oh, dear lad, I was not having a conversation but instead speculating on the inner workings of the universe. The man began to leave apparently embarrassed of getting caught. No, no, no, It would be more offensive to me for you to leave then to stay. You have already shown your interest in the philosophy of this world so please stay and allow us to speak of such things. It is not like if we move from our very location that we can do any more good than if we stay. The world moves for no one and yet the world is moving all the time. How is it that one person can change the life of another without influencing it? So sit and listen to my tales of the world, Interject as you may. The night has come, but soon it will be day Neabaz was adamant about not letting this man slip past him, ignoring the idol that the man had found and instead focusing on the things that flooded through his mind.

    @XxSulSus

  17. The tree upon which Neabaz sat was above all others, the sun in the distance was setting. The brilliant light above all others, must die every day. How the sun does wither as the moon comes out to play. To the brilliant cycle I would pray, But what’s the point in that? The cheery faced man gave a chuckle as he began to think about death and the vast emptiness of it. He swung down catching himself on every branch, not once losing his grip. He hit the forest floor with a thud and looked around the area. To a normal person it would be something of danger, scare, potential misfortune. Not him though, to him there was nothing in the world to be fearful of but boredom. He opened his HUD and looked at the quest he had accepted once again, Oh how close you are, my fantastic fantasy finally fulfilled! Every word that came out his mouth seemed to have some sort of poetic flow one way or another. He very much enjoyed ever second he could be contriving any amount of metric feet. He aimlessly walked through the forest not paying attention to much of what was around him

    @XxSulSus

  18. The two walked out into the open air, Neabaz equipped his massive Greataxe. Holding it instead of placing it on his person. It is not a matter of confidence it is a matter of observation and trust. You seem to be strong enough to protect me and I trust that you will. And hey, who cares if I die? I won't have to worry about postponing it anymore. He had a wide smile despite the negative tone it more than likely would have resonated. His way of speaking shown that he was at complete ease with the idea of his own death. I welcome death with open arms, though I do not seek it. It will approach me when the time is right and she will whisk me into her kingdom. When that time comes I will be the same man you see before you now, one of happiness and peace all his days. What wrongship can come from such a thing as life? Nothing that cannot be overcame! Why approach everything as if it were the end? The end is no more than an opening to another world and to become one with the universe once again, as we were before, as we always have been, and as we always will be.

  19. Neabaz chuckled to himself as he watched the quick flirtatious interaction between the two I do not think accelerating through floors will affect me all that much if I am to be honest. I plan to be the best bartender that this world has ever seen as such, I expect people to be lining up at my door when the time comes for them to be opened regardless as to the floor I am on. Standing up as well and following Tobias out the door, grabbing the ale on the way out. Neabaz continued one his speech. I would be grateful to accompany you to get some materials. It is true that I will not be able to get customers here on the first floor and with the progress as of late I assume that the lower ten floors will be no longer relevant in a rush, though I do believe I can set up a shop on any floor that is unlocked and will more than likely find a floor that is easier to gain valued customers on. And while I understand the reason you would push someone to be a merchant, I have no motivation to do such a thing. One cannot sit and drink in an alchemy lab, I will gain much more intelligent discussion as a bartender. Continuing to walk Neabaz began to think about the merchant class. I would have assumed a merchant would buy and sell goods but the way he speaks of it perhaps is to mean that they instead unlock qualities of loot. That would indeed be a strange use for a merchant. I cannot say that I truly know what merchants do. You say you want to identify loot found on the battlefield, tis an interesting trade but more than likely very necessary if that is what you will be doing! And seeing your confidence, I have no doubt that you will quickly become one of the finest merchants in all of Aincrad. There was something of a lighthearted skip in Neabaz’s voice, one that would lead some to believe he was beginning to feel drunk if they didn't know him well enough to identify his cheery tone of voice and the different inflictions he assigned them.

  20.

    It seemed that Neabaz had tickled Tobias’ fancy with his appreciations of bartending I would like to be a bartender here because that is my profession in the real world. I grew up envisioning what it would be like to own a medieval style bar and hear stories of wonderful tales from the adventures and warriors on the battlefield as so oft is portrayed in stories and games. Neabaz’s eyes almost seemed to glisten and sparkle at the talk of bartending, It truly was his passion. This man does bring up some good points though, I must decide how to word my next few statements…  Neabaz left a moment of silence to think before giving Tobias the rest of his answer, also taking that time to take a few more swigs of ale, ultimately finishing off his mug Indeed Alcohol is a depressant and in the end you have a great possibility to end up worse than you were before. But the way I see it, the experience and friendship that you can find in a bar has the possibility to make even the most depressive alcoholic streak come to a dead halt. As shown by Bruce K. Alexander’s experiment Rat Park, addiction, depression, anxiety? They have less to do with the Alcohol and more to do with your cage and those around you. Not to mention I feel no reason to pay head to those overly ambitious front-liners. I love this world and if they want my help I will help but a call to action must be justified. All they can do postpone their death by escaping this game, we have been giving a phenomenal opportunity to experience the wonders of this new world. I do not see the point in wasting it pushing to run from a death that can easily out-stride us. Ordering another ale he thought about some of the other points the mad made not wanting to talk too much. And I do so hope that when I get a bar up and running you will grace me with the opportunity to serve you one the occasion you feel you are to want to get drunk! The warm smile on Neabaz seemed to increase with this, it was all he could do to keep from continuing gushing about his dream of bartending.

  21. The bustling tavern seemed to be quieting down as the two sat and spoke. The man next to Neabaz had quite the way of speaking. I must commend you, it has been some time since I have been graced with such a firm handshake! Such a man as him is not uncommon to me, I had quite a few people as this that I have met in my time bartending. You have quite bold aspirations, Tobias. Though I must say your reasoning behind chasing these aspirations are quite unique when compared to others I have encountered so far. Neabaz gulped down some more ale before continuing, it seemed he was piecing together his response. As for myself, I find that my goal is to live the life I dreamed of as a child. That of a great bartender, so that I may invite people to happiness throughout this world of fantasy. Neabaz gave a chuckle at the remembrance of why he had entered this game I will, one day, be known as the best bartender in the land! Surely, I will make it there, though I must first find the way. Neabaz observed Tobias with a smile exposing his pristine teeth. His smile always seemed to have a way of radiating to others who were in need of cheering up, though Neabaz assumed that Tobias needed no such thing.

  22. The lush green grass surrounded the bartender, they swayed in the breeze that softly blew about the large open field. The black haired man had chosen to lay on his back, hand over is eyes and a smile on his face. Ah how pristine the world I live, I do recall a poem! Beginning to speak allowed Neabaz recited a poem which he had written quite some time ago.

    (OOC: this is a poem written by me irl, please refrain from republishing this without some credit to the profile Neabaz if on site. If you are republishing this off site please get in contact with me first)

    Come to me, oh wounded sheep

    You mustn’t just sit there and weep

    Even in a mounting heap

    I will help you through time of need

    All around you gone astray

    But look the light that shines today

    Do not sit there and delay

    I will make sure you are freed

    Do not dwell on bygone gladness

    Do not fear of future sadness

    Consuming things, this must be madness!

    Sucked into this world's harsh bind

    Mysteries of time keep thralling

    People keep on slowly falling

    Mindless as they keep on calling

    Slaves to the day’s harsh grind

    But now with life in new waves forming

    Happiness which now is warming

    Vigor now, is violent storming

    Come indulge in this with me

    The words rolled off his tongue like a crackling brook, the familiar lines coming to him as if he had just written the poem yesterday. Content with his being at the time he lay embracing the sunlight that so eloquently shown down upon him. Speaking allowed to himself and anyone who had been listening -though he was unsure if there was nearby at all- I believe Menachem Begin said it best “Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of a just cause, the triumph of truth.” Giving a small, happy sigh Neabaz listened to the breeze that blew around him silently hoping someone had heard his words.

  23. The tavern door swung open, the wind created causing the black overcoat Neabaz was wearing shift about slightly. A confidant red haired man strutted in, this man’s clothing style seemed to be fairly close to Neabaz’s. Interesting, I wonder if all we have in common is fashion sense The man seemed to be slightly taller than Neabaz but must have also been a few years younger. As said by Andrew Lo “Most people are overconfident about their own abilities. That is probably a good thing. But we would be horrified if a physician's aide engaged in heart surgery.” I do so hope that this man now sitting next to me does not hold his confidence to such a level as to contend with those fighters I so oft heard about. Perhaps I shall introduce myself to this man Neabaz turned to the man sitting next to him, a warm smile on his face Hello there, Sir. I am Neabaz, it a pleasure to make your acquaintance  He holds out his hand to the red haired man. Might I ask you, what are your aspirations? Neabaz prepared for a confused response from the man beside him. Regardless as to the outcome I shall stick to my guns on this I have so oft done in the past.

  24. Light streamed in from the tavern window and shimmered off the bar. Neabaz had a mug of ale in his hand and wore a slight smile on his face. Recalling the time he spent as a bartender in the real world he hoped to one day be able to experience that again. It is strange that so many of the people in this world are filled with such contemptment for this game they are trapped in. Why anyone would want to leave is beyond me that is for sure He thought to himself as he took a few gulps of his ale, the light brown liquid producing a shimmering brown pattern on the bar as it passed through the rays of light streaming in from the window. This place is full of lost souls, I wonder why they seem to be so scared. Perhaps they fear death? Though, what is one death in the greater scheme of the universe? It is not like anyone mattered to begin with. His smile increased as he looked around the bar, taking a few more large gulps of ale. The tavern was mostly empty, as it tended to be these days. I wonder how far they have gotten, meh. This ale is just as important as it is to worry about such things

    About: History/personality
    Neabaz grew up as the odd kid, everyone always put him down and barraged him with negativity. This was not helped by the rumors of family practicing of witchcraft. These rumors were completely true. His mother was a poet and his father was a philosophy teacher. They instilled much of what they knew into him giving him his love of literature and thought. Though when his parents found out that he decided to forgo the collage life and become a bartender, they all but disowned him. throughout his youth he attended things such as ren-fest with his family wishing what he saw there could be his life. When SAO came about it was only right that he use it to experience the same life that seemed to have evaded him for so long.
    Virtues:

    Wise: Neabaz has a vast about of wisdom bestowed in him by his father and had a easy time identifying it and pulling upon it to allow him to help others. Through his cheery, lighthearted and almost naive demeanor he seems to always have a serious solution or answer. He tends to use this knowledge to give talking points to those who come to his bar, never once shying away from the thought of a philosophical conversation

    Cheery: In the face of sadness, hardship, and pain, Neabaz always smiles. To those who are outside his close friends he seems to never have even a slight amount of sadness, though in reality he rarely shows his pain. He hides a very serious side that he uses when helping others or when he need help himself though very few people will ever get to see that side of him. He loves to bring smiles to people's faces and can't help but be glad that others are enjoying life.

    Poetic: As both the son of a poet and a poet himself, Neabaz pulls on the strings of literature and English to form brilliant stories and poems that he uses to cheer other up when he can find no other means of doing so. He also frequently writes down his feelings and hardships in poems that he keeps locked away. He uses his ability to engage crowds and make friends alike, always attempting to find a way to enlighten those around him and attempt to brighten everyone's day.

    Flaws:
    Reference: http://www.darkworldrpg.com/lore/flaws.html
    Haunted: Hidden behind his demeanor, Neabaz is Haunted by his past and has never let go of the words others have said to him. They resurface at the worst times sending him into a spiraling depression, though he never shows it. He strives to be the best person he can be in every way whilst hiding this feeling of dread that seems to grow even with his outlet of poetry. It is only a matter of time before his dread breaks the surface.

    Lonely: Neabaz has no problem having friends and being happy. However whenever he is left alone for long enough he begins to feel helpless, intensifying all of his inward talk and all of the hate that he tries to hide. When he is alone for long enough he begins to remember the exact sentences spoken to him and all the things he regrets. He is quick to add his own hateful comments toward himself in these cases and begin to believe that those he thought cared about him really don't.

    Reserved: Neabaz does not allow almost anyone to see how he feels at any given time, subduing his depression while around others. He prefers to keep all negativity -that is not because of an intense philosophical conversation- to himself and well hidden. Even the closest of his friends may never know his true self. Those who do tend to hear him say things that will drive them away, causing him to want to reserve himself even more. Because of this Reserved nature Neabaz bottles every negative emotion to the point of overflow at times.

    A word to the wise

    This man I have met, Tobias is his name. He intrigues me. He seems to be confidant to a fault and yet still has the audacity to be friendly and almost seem caring. He seems like an upstanding individual and has ambitions that I must say I admire. I am curious to see where this relationship goes.
