  1. Embers petted the bird, right as she heard Domarus voice. Rowan hopped onto the girls arm, clearly stating its claim. Embers was his, and he was hers. Even the bird, even as a familiar, knew it. Embers smirked watching it, it seemed, even in this world, Rowan was still Rowan.

“His own desires maybe, but he is mine. But, I’m just happy to have him back” the girl rubbed under the birds neck, and some of the feathers were rustled as a result. “I’ll have to teach him a few things, but overall, I’m just happy to have him back” She watched Domarus start to leave, along with Keres. She turned to Rowan, who looked at her with pine-green eyes. Domarus had an intention to rule the world, but she couldn’t care less. He was a manipulator, and maybe, getting her Rowan would make her his. Embers laughed as she sat down with Rowan. If Domarus thought a fire could be tamed, he was sorely mistaken.

  2. Embers chuckled hearing that the Kid, and tis girl, had organised to make a police force. “God damn, that kid is just trying to be everywhere ain’t he” she muttered, more to herself than Hestia listening to the other girl explain everything out. Two guilds, possibly a third coming in. A rational person would understand the need for normalty and laws would be some return to that. However, Embers lacked that rationality to care or understand the want to have limitations on yourself.

“Christ, you’re goin’ all out on this eh Hes? Those major guild peoples, lawyers and police, I mean, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re aiming to run this game by your laws” Embers wasn’t, at least intentionally, trying to draw any mark between Hestia’ goal and Domarus, but in hindsight, Embers realized there was some link, the want to ‘control’.

In the distance, Embers crimson eyes found the fires and the girl grinned a violent grin. Soon, it would be time to get her Scythe bloody. However, the offer made to her caught her attention. “Don’t you dare tell me I need direction” she snapped harshly as Hestia as she grabbed the Scythe off her back, continuing forwards “The only direction I damn well need is my own instincts, survived in the real world with just 'em. Besides,  Domarus doesn’t control me if that’s your deal. I can tell by the way you say his name, you hate him. Besides that, I’ll keep my distance. Me and crowds, you can imagine how well I get along with them” Her rejection wasn't her trying to be rude, but rather, being self-aware enough that she struggled to get along with those who didn't understand that she didn't care for others nor their opinions. When it came to Telrenya, Embers mentally had her as a younger sister and didn't want to hurt the girl socially by being, well...herself. She respected the other girl enough to know, distance was best despite it pissing her off.

  3. Embers hated explaining herself, often times people never asked so she didn’t have to explain herself. Explain something that no one ever understood, bar those who burnt with her. Those whose raw emotions overwhelmed them, whose emotions could not be tamed. The girl let out a sigh “Ok, I’ll run it simple. I burn with emotions that cannot be controlled or tamed, I lost control of everything with blood rushes, and I love to fight. My blood, my whole body, burns with emotion” she said simply. She didn’t know how else to explain it in her own words. Some used the words ‘insane’, but she was completely sane, she just, lacked control.

Hearing Hestia critize her option for a guild, or perhaps, her selection of leadership, Embers boomed with laughter. Strong, powerful and unafraid laughter. “Loyalty? What a joke” She turned to face Hestia “You act like I care for loyalty. The only loyalty I have is to myself, the only constant in my life. Domarus burns, not like me, but he’s the closest like me that I’ve found. So like I said, I’ll rally behind him for now, after all, he demands some respect from me”. Embers frowned as she heard that people would rally against Domarus, including Tel… Conflict flashed in the girls eyes, if nothing else, for Tel. She didn’t want to clash up against that girl…. “Look, you wanna stop him, go for it. He denies himself the pleasure of his emotions, and if he’s too weak to look after himself, then tough to be him” She had no intention to protect her ‘leader’, shield him or even defend him. If he was too weak to defend himself against his enemies, then it was his fault.

Love, as a concept, was something Embers couldn’t not mock. She’d never understood it, never felt it in its true form. “Human connection, love? Never cared for it myself, I do my own thing and if someone keeps up, congradulations” The girl shrugged before smirking. God did this girl thinks she was some sorta one-woman army? “You should partner up with the Kid, Stryder. He’s always got some issue with law of the jungle, the pair of you could rally behind your, whatever the word is” Embers forgot the word ‘Self-Rightousness’, namely because it was something she mocked and never bothered to learn about. Why fight for those, who were too weak to hold their own in any capacity?

  4. Embers let out a loud laugh at the threat. The threat made by this other girl at her. Back in the real world, Embers would have used that to punch the other girl, if nothing else, for the thrill of it. “Don’t worry, I ain’t gunna lash out here” She said lazily, as if she hadn’t just been threatened yet again “I love a good fight, but murder? That’s a step too far, even more so in this stupid world. Most of you may be sheeps, and none of you burn, but you bare your teeth damn well, and I gotta honour that much” Embers didn’t like, people in general. City folks were always weak, but in SAO, if nothing else, she had learnt that push comes to shove, they could hold their own…mostly.

The look she got from Hestia, about Domarus and the guild however, was one that ignited the girls blood. If a fight was coming anywhere, it was here, and she couldn’t not make fists “The reason?” Domarus had explained it to her, although, she honestly had forgotten most of it. “He said it was, something about control? I’ll be honest, I stopped listening. As much as he burns, the idiot hides himself behind a stupid smile” She could tell, by the tone, Hestia knew. How she knew, Embers didn’t care enough to ask “As for why? Simple. Me and him had a fight, and he knows how to throw a punch. I ain’t gunna lie my life down for the idiot, but I respect him enough to rally behind him…” The girl shrugged her shoulders as she spoke. The overall plan for Domarus was far behind her ability to fully comprehend, and honestly, care. But, while he didn’t burn like her, he burnt with rage and passion, and that was enough to bring her in.

Embers hears about the boyfriend, and lets out, yet another, loud laugh. Oh Tel… “A boyfriend? Hah! Oh Hestia, what’s with everyone and fallin’ in love online?” She asked “You’re gunna stop them? You and the Kid, I swear. You’re so insistent of screwing with the Rule of the Jungle, then again, killin’ another person is pretty low…”

  5. At the mention of too violent, Embers simply grinned at the other girl. The look in her eyes, burned with madness and violence “Back in the real world, I used to pick fights. Hell, even here I do. Ever since I could remember, I’ve just had this…urge to fight, this lust of just emotions” The girl didn’t try explain how it felt, no one got it, and she had lived with it for so long, she didn’t care if another didn’t understand.

“I can’t pronounce the name, some stupid greek thing. It’s run by Domarus” she said, unaware she that Hestia knew the name and knew he was some snivaling cowards too scared to admit is own nature “Although I get along with Stryders guild, doing that dragon quest with ‘em” She had been tempted to join that guild, but circumstances happened, plus the kid just wasn’t a ‘leader’ she could possible respect.

Embers eyes caught on the name. Telrenya. Tel had joined the Holy Dragon Alliance? A soft growl escaped the girls throat. At least the other girl was safe, and a high level from the sounds of it. A lot higher than herself, then again, she felt a lot of free time messing around over getting quests done. “As long as you keep Tel safe, then no issues will come” she didn’t want to come off as protective, Tel could make her own choices. “From what Dom mentioned, only front liners to die of late were caught by players…” The girl, unable to stop herself, chuckled “Sorta amusing, ain’t it? Players Domarus inspires take over from, and it’s not even the bosses that pose the biggest threat. It's gotta be ironic somewhere, that other players are more of a danger than the monsters who guard the way”

  6. Embers let out a whistle as they began walking, and from the rooftops, a White-Tailed Eagle flew and landed on the girls should plates. The eagle had brown feathers with a white tail and chest, and seemed to beam with pride.  Embers glared at her familiar, but said nothing. Rowan always trying to show off, damn buzzard.

Embers, had a liking towards Hestia. She seemed to be a girl of action, rather than some, who stuttered every second word. This one knew what she wanted. “Friends? Not overally, I was more of a loner back in the real world, too…violent” she wasn’t sure if violent was the right word, but it was close enough to being the most correct “I mean, I have a guild but outside of the leader, I haven’t found the time for ‘em” Embers snorted slightly. Only the guild leader, Domarus, had shown any care for her, and even then, the girl suspected that was purely to get her to join in the first place. “I’m gunna go on a limb, Hes, and say you’re guild is that front liner guild I’ve heard about yeah?” Embers knew she was right, but a confirmation would be nice. After all, she was only half listening to Domarus about the other guilds, mostly because she didn’t care for his plan to overtake them. But, if this girl wanted to make small talk, then she was more than willing to find out what make her tick, and what made her burn.

  7. Embers glanced around, almost ignoring Domarus entirely. Her instincts were on fire, an animalistic calling within her that just told her something was amiss. She looked around, before grinning. Finally! With only a yell, the girl shot off up one of the sheer cliffs, fighting for hand grips. To the side was a simplier walking path, but Embers didn’t care for it. She always had spotted it, an animal in the distance, observing her. Hunting her.

It was a short climb up, but soon, Embers found herself face to face with yet another avian. This time, a large White-Tailed Hawk. A single word came out of her mouth, nothing more than a growl “Rowan…”

The girl lifted her arm out and whistled. The Hawk tilted his head to the side as if asking a question. Embers let out a yell “Listen to me, I’ve played your stupid games. So listen well, Rowan. You are mine, and I, I am yours. I claim you as my own” The girl walked forwards slowly and the Hawk simply watched her “I see what I want…And I will seize it. I do not ask for it, I do not wish for it. I take it” The girl was slow to the bird, a burning fire within her eyes and heart as she glared at the bird. A clear challenge boomed from her.

Suddenly, the Eagle spread its wings and flew, not onto the girls outstretched arm, but onto her shoulder, landing there. Embers began laughing, loudly, almost with a happy innocene as she looked at the Avian, who belonged, with her “Damn buzzard…”

  8. The girl leaned against the wall, armoured in black, armed with her scythe, and for one of the few times, allowed her mind to roam. Namely, how long would she wait before going on this quest or nagging her guild leader to come with her. She liked him, even if he was a little messed up with all his sneaking around. He burnt, and for that reason alone, she would stay as part of the guild. But the real aim, to find a place to belong, had failed her ocne again to no short annoyance.

Embers crimson eyes quickly found someone approaching her. Red haired, but two things caught her eyes. First, the familiar. A winged…lion!? Embers frown was apparent as she looked at it, staring hard. The second was that this girl was part of a guild, namely one she’d heard about from her ‘leader’. Holy Dragon Alliance. She knew her guild leaders goal, to replace that guild on terms of front line power. The girl introduced herself, and Embers grinned lazily. While the name, Hestia, was unfamiliar, she doubted she would ‘meant’ to spill the beans.

“Embers” she said curtly, getting off the wall and standing at her full height of 6’0 and looking at Hestia with burning eyes “I am, figured its safer to look for help on a quest that might be lethal than gun for it alone. Well, given you look like you can handle yourself, and a tank at that, I’d say we could honestly get goin’” Embers glanced her violent eyes down at the familiar. Animals, back in the real world, were always an unknown. Even in SAO, she expected them to attack her out of instinct. Have enough animals try and hunt you, and you’re always on edge about them.

  9. Embers let out a sigh as she looked through her inventory. She felt her annoyance rise within her as she hadn’t received a reply for any of the people she’d just messaged. She found a quest up on the 6th floor that, while she wasn’t sure she could do alone, she could do with one other. But none of them have even bothered to reply.

The girl stood up and put on her combat inventory. Heavily plated black armour and a Scythe. She wasn’t hugely sold on taking the quest alone, from what she knew, she was too low levelled for it, but she wanted to do something since quests gave the best experience in this stupid game. Annoyed, she walked to the request board on the 6th floor.

She’d never used it before, namely because, well, she hated it. Hated being in a position where she needed the help of another, hated needed the rely on the strength of someone else to get what she wanted. And yet, with the way this game was made, she found herself having no blood choice. So as much as it did stab into her pride, she placed a short piece up on the request board.

    Spoiler

‘Quest: Deforestation. Could use a hand, split reward. Don’t be a coward. From Embers, the one with the Scythe’

Short, simple and, as she’d never seen anyone else with a Scythe, felt confident people would be able to find her as she leaned against a nearby wall.

  10. Embers wasn’t entirely sold on Keres being honest with her. She had a feeling Domarus wasn’t the only crafty one, and if she was honest, Keres made her more worried than Domarus. At the end, despite his ridiculous sneaking around, he was a warrior of respect. But Keres, something about that girl unnerved her, a lot.

Her attention, short as it was, was dragged to Domarus as he began explaining the other generals. She hadn’t heard of a single name of any of these other players. Hidden, Aereth, and now, herself. She was curious to meet them, see what kind of people these other ‘generals’ were.

“Right, so your plan is basically, get someone who can fight, wait until they all have levels, then go and become famous?” Once again, Embers simplifying everything she was being told into a short simple sentence. The girl stretched her arms out again, unable to help herself and looked around, her crimson eyes on the hunt for a possible familiar. After all, despite the fight, that was the purpose of her being here and she wouldn’t stop until she got what she wanted.

  11. Finally the girl applogised for touching her, gods was it that hard for people to listen these days? She told the frog girl to stop, and she hadn’t, which had made her anger start to flare up. She knew she was easily aggravated, however, knowing and stopping it, were two different things entirely and she had never cared to even try and moderate her behaviour before.

“Good” she said simply before mimicking Tsu and getting a shot of her own, even if the game didn’t allow her to get drunk, she may as well try. Who knows, maybe one of the developer people got lazy in their job. Throwing the glass into the wall, the girl shook Glass’ hand as he left. Leaving just herself, and Frog-Girl.

“Well…” the girl said loudly as she accessed her inventory and pulled out her Scythe. “Shouldn’t you be leavin’ with your man?” she asked lazily as she herself headed for the door “Oh, on a side note, if you see that stain, pin-whatever, get your guild leader to contact me, I’ll handle him…my way”

  12. Embers felt her anger being tickled up once again, and the girl rolled her head. Gods she just wanted to fight something, kick the crap out of it until it couldn’t move. She grinned, she knew who she could contact for a fight, just beat the hell out of the other until she felt better. She was about to send that person a message, when the damn tongue touched her again!

The girl snapped, and threw her glass against the wall, it shattering and exploding as she stood up, an angry glare at Tsu. Her open mouth was cut off by Glasses speaking, trying to make it as if it were a dog licking Affection. But Embers had let the train off, there was no stopping.

“There is two damn differences between you licking me, and a dog” she said loudly “Difference one, you’re human, not some animal. I don’t care that your tongue is what it is, or if you had bloody, animals ears. And the second” and the second is what pissed her off the most “I told you not to touch me. Right now, there are a few things I wanna do and most of them include my fist or my weapon. Neither I wanna pull on you” the girl moved away, giving herself some distance. She knew herself and knew that part of her wanted to just fight someone. If Tsu kept insisting on agitating her, then Embers knew the frog girl was a target in her mind.

  13. The rest of the guild had finally arrived, and Embers let out a deep breath. Finally, they had taken their time. Now she could get to the one part she cared about, which was the obvious. Fighting. It was the entire reason she’d let the Kid talk her into coming, and the only reason she was hanging around his guild. After all, while she did have her own guild, it wasn’t as active as these guys. So why not?

Once again, this guild was just so obsessd with teams. Putting people in a place, the girl didn’t even hold back her snort. Despite her thoughts, she did listen. She was part of the 2nd team, but oddly, the member of the guild the girl cared for, Fae, had just vanished. Shame, that girl was worth protecting. She quickly spied Pinballs late arrival, as Tsu who was there. One of them the girl wanted to beat within an inch of their life, and the glare that came out of the girl aimed at Pinball was far from friendly. Unable to help herself, she walked over to him “Oi, idiot” she said to get his attention “Don’t turn your back to me, or my Scythe might slip and find you instead” she said angrily, threateningly. Part of her wanted nothing more than to stab him, but, well, there was ALWAYS a part of her that wanted that.

    @Hydra

  14. Embers noticed the flinch, and grinned. So this girl was aware she should be feared. Good. Embers was more than happy to move on, after all, there was only so much that got into her blood before it would eventually fizzle out. The, admittantly pathetic, scuffle with Pin had left her on a high. But with nothing to follow it up, it had burnt itself out like a drug in her system.

That was when the tongue touched her again. The hell?! What was with this girl and touching her with the damn tongue!? She battered the tongue away instantly “Urgh, just…stop touching me with that. It’s like if I was to lick you, its just gross” Embers was fine with physically contact, and licking was good at some times when things to interesting. But this was NOT one of those times.

The girl crashed onto one of the seats and leaned back, taking her drink down.

  15. Embers couldn’t fully understand what the hell Keres found in being, basically, abused by Domarus. Embers found the idea impossible to entertain, as she could only understand truly by placing herself there. And if Domarus ever craved her being physically abused, well, she’d beat him within inches of his life back in the real world.

Embers glance at Domarus “Yeah, I figured that out. Keres just staring at me” She turned to face the maid “Look, Keres, I don’t get this whole serving and such. But if you try use me like some doll to mess with my head, I will hurt you” she said. Unaware that this ‘threat’ she was trying to make, might be taken differently by a maid whose mind worked in such a way that Embers found impossible to understand. “Oh, by the way Dom, how many of us have ya got?” She asked finally “I’m gunna go out on a limb and say I’m not the first general you’ve got”

    @Domarus

  16. Embers snorted as she received the message. She still found it annoying how Stryder used a ‘group’ message to address her, while she was not part of his hand-holding lovey guild. She had joined a different guild, and its leader had given her permission to do what she wanted how she wanted. The sense of freedom made her respect him more, purely as someone who attempted to control her, pissed her off more than anything.

But, on the Brightside, she could kill as it pleased her? Mobs of any kind, and this guild now was keepin’ her in the dragon killing missions. The girl made her way to the 2nd floor, and her eyes didn’t take long to stop them out. Stryder, that wolf he managed to save. Hei, the Harem boy. Tsu, Frog-Girl who Embers had a good mind to hit back, and then…someone she hadn’t seen before. How the Kid managed to drag up strays like it was coming out of fashion was beyond her.

She ensued her armour and weapon were equipped, she liked to prove a point and she loved how she looked. Like Death, a Black Armoured Wraith with a Scythe, coming for you.

“Took you long enough Kid” she said as she leaned up against a tree nearby “How many of ya guilds comin’ this time?”

  17. Embers grin came out once again, she loved the feeling she got from Domarus. He understood her strength, he knew that she was a storm that bowed to no one. If he had implied he controlled her emotions, she’d of decked him. However, he seemed to understand that she didn’t bow to him, even if she was one of those General things.

“Good to know you know I ain’t some pet to be leashed. I’ll fight for you…” She said, grinning. But behind her smile, Embers mind did ask a question. What would she be fighting, who was Domarus intending to aim her at? If he aimed her at the wrong target, unbeknownst to him, she would go rogue. Respect, even hers, only brought you so much room with a fire.

Although, Keres now baffled Embers even more than before. Embers enjoyed a good fight, the pain reminded her she was alive and human. The void of pain had annoyed her, but Keres was something else. She founded like she got off on pain, an odd prospect that Embers, found herself, not wanting to know. “Lets get movin’” she agreed, but found herself underable to stop herself “Oi, Ker. What’s with the whole ‘painful master’ thing you’ve got with Dom eh?” She found the words coming out before even thinking about them “You just get off on the pain?”

  18. Embers followed Domarus, namely because he seemed to want to lead the charge for her familiar. She was getting annoyed at the lack of a payoff, she’d been searching for what felt like forever and just nothing. How long was this game intending to just screw around with her? She felt her anger building back up.

“Control…?” The girl frowned, the hell was he talking about control for? Did he not know that she didn’t care to control herself? She did what she wanted, how she wanted, when she wanted. If she wanted to punch him in the face, she’d damn well try it and he’d have to defend himself. “Controls boring as hell Dom…” The girl smirked hearing he’d had fun, because that was one of the better fights she’d had in a while. In part, she hated how she couldn’t hear him grunt in pain as she hit him. She knew her punches hit like a truck, and would have LOVED to hear him in pain from her punches.

Once again, though, her train of thought was cut off as the maid, Keres, hugged her. Embers reacted out of nothing more than instinct, grabbing the arms and flipping Keres over her own head, slamming the girl into the ground before realizing the person grabbing her from behind was someone she knew “…T-thanks, just, don’t grab me from behind like that…” she said, her version of an applogy “I get…well, violent if I feel someone grab me from behind”

    @Domarus

  19. Embers watched as Glasses and Frog-Girl gave each other a kiss, and the girl had to actually put effort into not mocking them outwardly. She had always found the whole ‘love’ thing stupid, namely when aimed at other people. People changed, that’s the nature of people. Why love someone if they’re going to change into someone you don’t love anymore? In Embers experience, there are very few people worth putting the effort into loving. Yourself, and her father. The person who allowed her to become whoever she wanted to be.

However, all of what she was watching was ignored when she felt the girls long frog tongue slap her across the face. In that very instant, Embers felt her anger spike up. Who cares if they were having some stupid moment, how DARE she hit her! Embers made a fist with her right hand, right as Glasses moved between her and Tsu.

You know, if it wasn’t for Glasses, I’d of tossed you into that wall for that slap…” Embers ordered, yet another drink “So fine, but next time you slap me, I don’t care if Glasses or your entire guild tells me to stop, I will hit you back”

  20. Embers, in part, was just baffled the hell was happening. First Tsu was in love with Pin, but now it was with Glasses? God was everyone high on LSD or something? Ot had people managed to get drunk without her realizing? That seemed, to her, as the only logical explanation for what the hell she was witnessing. Of course, it was at the point that Embers realized a simple truth.

    She didn’t care.

Whatever had just happened, she truly didn’t’ care for it. The only part she cared for was Pins rudeness to her and the possible suicidal attempt by the Frog-Girl. Despite glasses being seemingly zoned out or the rather odd declaring as partners, Embers shrugged and ordered another drink.

“Congrats or whatever people are meant to say” Embers said finally, either unaware she was the third wheel, or simply not giving a damn that she was. “Look, I won’t pretend to know what the hell happened, and frankly, I don’t care too much for it. Now can we get back to drinking or are you gunna get all squishy on me with romance?”

  21. Embers had placed some distance between herself and the others, not wanting to beat them within inches of their lives purely because of the stupidity of that Pin person. She had every godo mind to pull out her Scythe and carve him up into tiny pieces, he had pissed her off. She had managed to push away the blood haze  that had threatened her right as that idiot yelled.

She looked up as Pin stormed out of the bar, and Embers smirked. Perfect, now he was a perfect target. Standing up at her full height, the girl took several steps forwards, intending to fight Pinball and beat him within an inch of his useless life. However, Tsu’s actions caught her eye first.

She hadn’t noticed the other girls tongue, but now she did, some of what he said made sense. And it pissed her off, beyond rational comprehension. The only thing that stopped her from lashing out at Pin was an odd-sense of care. That girl, Tsu, was different. How dare that piece of….

Embers walked to Tsu, and placed a hand on the girls shoulder. Embers face had an angry look on it, her eyes dancing with violence. “He isn’t worth your time” she said simply as she looked at the other girl with a single question dancing in her own head. Why the HELL DID SHE CARE?!

“That pin idiot, isn’t worth it. Find the people who don’t give a damn about what makes you different” She took a sharp breath “Simple rule shrimp. Those who matter don’t care that you’re different, and those who care that you’re different, don’t matter” Embers wasn’t sure why she was sharing this, but the other girl seemed to need it, much like she did all those years ago. If she lashed out against her, or herself, Embers would ‘act. At any attempt to hurt herself, Embers would grab Tsu’ arms ensuring she couldn’t hurt herself.

  22. Embers found the floor teleporter, and was about to access it when she heard another message coming in. She found herself frowning, before opening it up and let out a sigh. Kairi just seemed so nervious about hanging out, which was a little odd to Embers who remembered the last time they had spent time together. She smiled at the memory of the other girl on her bed.

‘Yes, I’m sure Ash. I told you about my job in the real world, spending days away from people is a norm’.

With the message sent, the girl looked at the message to find out where. Floor 9. Embers had never been to that floor before. Part of her had to wonder what the floor was like as she used the floor teleporter to move onto th e9th floor.

The 9th floor, it seemed, was meant to be hell itself. Stepping out onto it, the girl felt the oppressive heat almost punch her in the face the instant she arrived. Embers let out a low whistle, so it was gunna be like this eh? Well, part of this was going to suck, part of it was going to be like back home. With that in mind, Embers began to look around for Kairi, she had send the coodinates with the previous message, and Embers called out the girls name thinking she was nearby.

    @Kairi

  23. Embers smirked widely, damn right she didn’t fear Dromarus. She feared absolutely nothing, yet alone someone stupid enough to think they could control her. But, let Domarus think he had his little power trip over her. She honestly couldn’t care what he thought. Yes, she respected him, but that respect had its own limits. She would listen, and possibly take what he said with some merit. But anymore than that, was entirely up to her as how she was feeling at the time.

“So your plan is to have the strong by your side, and use them to rule over the weak?” She asked, just aiming for a solid answer. Some of what he said went completely over her head, she wasn’t the smartest one around. She knew that much, but somethings were worth asking. For that was all she cared to worry about, the girl let out a sigh. She was unaware that Domarus had intentions outside of Sword Art Online, unaware he intented control outside of this world. Once they broke free, Embers had no intention to sticking around, after all. Once she had her freedom back, she’d go out, get insanely drunk and explore the world. That was her ‘plan’.

  24. Embers stood and listened to Domarus, well, sorta lose his god damned mind. Control, and to his declared scale? If she was honest, it sounded like the ravings of a mad man long since gone. And yet, despite that, she was willing to entertain the idea. Purely because, while hindsight was perfect, some of what he had done made sense.

He had mentioned, times before, about being there for others. That she shouldn’t count out the larger population, something she personally didn’t care for. However, it seemed to be something he cared for. The approval of the public masses, the filthy who dared tell her what to do with her life. People she couldn’t care less for. He hunted for their approval.

All of it was fine, minus the end, that’s where Embers growl emerged from her. A threat against her. “So what, I’m one of those four generals eh?” It was a simple question, and one that confused her. Why the hell did he trust her? She could betray him at any point, could leave him, could try and turn against him.

“Seems sorta stupid no? Your generals should fear you, to ensure they stay loyal to the cause” Embers slowly walked forwards “I don’t fear you Dom, and I aint’ scared of death” She smirked. She had joined, not for his cause, but because she had respect for him as a leader. Nothing more, nothing less. “Although, that being said. You’re one of the few that can burn, and that to me, means more than whatever little scheme you’re plotting. So you plot away Dom, I’ll be there” She snorted “As long as you don’t lose my respect, I’ll follow…”

  25.  Embers made her walk towards the teleporter as the reply came in, the girl opened the message and found it impossible not to smirk.

“Ohh Kairi, I swear, you’re just too precious. If I were anyone else, I’d feel bad for destroying your innocence” Embers mused to herself as she smirked. She wasn’t sure what Kairi was planning, but Ember knew what she wanted. 6 days, alone, with Kairi. So much could happen, it’s like a hike. The only difference between this and her own hikes would be that her partner, well, typically her partner knew what was coming.

‘You know it. I told ya before, I used to do hikes back in the real world, 6 days travel is nothing I can’t handle. I'll see you up there’

Embers had never been to the 9th floor before, she was curious what it would be like. Or what the quest even was, she had no idea and couldn’t not be a little curious. But it was Kairi, surely there was fighting. And she’d get to spend time with a bombshell of a cute girl, what was there to loose?
